just a sappy rant about ten to one anthology (my fanfic on ao3).

I’ve been a fan of undertale since 2015. whether it was festering below the surface, laying dormant under other interests, or very obvious, I love this game. unsurprisingly, I fell into the group of people who favored sans and papyrus, and I ended up quietly obsessing over these characters for most of my life.

finally, last year, I got off my ass and did the stupid thing I’ve always wanted to do—write a fanfiction. cracked my knuckles, cracked my toes, cracked my back, and got to work. I’ve never written a story before, let alone one with a linear plot where I was in complete control of how everything was depicted and… well, everything else, too. I was not under the assumption anyone would care or notice my story, which is fine. I just wanted to try my hand at this. but I’ve gotten support from this, and it’s a crazy feeling to have people like your work that you initially thought no one would see. am I insanely popular? no, and I don’t want to be. but even though I don’t want to be popular, I deeply appreciate everyone who has taken the time to read my story. you guys are way cool, and I just wanted to take a second to thank you all.

and, if you’re thinking about doing the same thing (writing a fanfiction or making some kind of fan content for something you love), do it! writing and drawing helps me keep my creativity alive, and I’m finding a new love for it. it’s also just nice to have something to do to keep you happy.

again, thank you all for reading my story (WHICH WILL CONTINUE DON’T WORRY), and stay determined.
