Okay so I'd say 5 because it really depends!!! Sometimes I love editing and it's a joy to retool what I've put down and other times it's this insanely tedious task that makes me want to cry lmao

🔪 ⇢ what's the weirdest topic you researched for a writing project?

It's honestly hard to say. Especially because I'm blanking. Given that a lot of my fandoms are set at particular times, I'd say hyperspecific details, e.g. what trees would be found in Los Angeles in 1987. The funniest thing is sometimes I do all that and end up not using any of it.

☁️ ⇢ what made you choose your username?

Jfirnrir okay so it's a bit convoluted lol but basically one of my earliest usernames was something like "mystical-cthulhu-has-yuri-swagic" or something ridiculous like that. I can't remember what I changed it to after that but I remembered thinking that I needed to keep some parts of the url for continuity-sake. This essentially turned into a game of telephone where I kept less and less of the URL before eventually "deciding" (I'll be honest it's actually a compulsion lmao) that I had to have "mystical" in my URL. And I made a new ao3 account in like 2020 (or 2021?) because I decided to get back into fic writing and I can never remember my ao3 username off the top of my noggin but it has sad girl in it and I decided when I started to post about my fics here that i should incorporate part of my ao3 handle into my URL for cohesion because people were always like "wait that's you? You're the person that wrote that" lmao. Sad Girl is because I'm naturally melancholic.

My name is Christal but I have chosen to now go by Riya for the remainder of my music career. Before settling on Riya, I used to go by multiple names such as Chrisie, Chrisie K, Chrisie Kay, and Cee. I decided on Riya by taking the third and fourth letters of my first and middle name.

I have no idea what this blog will be, but I wanted a place to show my thoughts. I have multiple tumblr blogs out there because I always want a fresh start and I used to roleplay on Tumblr.
