You had a choice, and you were so selfish. you thought it was selfless at the time, to stand up against what you were raised in to save the life of your love, to save the fate of the galaxy! This is your purpose, and finally, someone shows you what you must do. And you know what you must do, but it hurts so terribly. Does it hurt more than the loss you have experienced? The isolation and loneliness? Or is it familiar and seductive? You are so tired and fall in quickly and don't try to fight your way out as the dark envelops you.

You hadn't slept much for weeks, losing sleep and gaining stress every night. How easily you were manipulated then! The years of war and turmoil and secrets weighing on your soul, making you question everything. Nobody to turn to, nobody hears you and you dont know how to say what you want to say.

How often you were questioned, harassed, scrutinized, by your own "people". Whether you belonged, whether you did too much, whether you were too dangerous. How the secrets weigh heavy on your soul.

To walk into the temple with your light sword drawn was a terrible thing, but with each step you crush a thing called conscience a bit underfoot until it dies. The last things you feel are horror and disgust as you do the horrible deed you now know is your fate.

You die when you join the Jedi, you die with Shmi. You die over and over again with Padme. You die during the clone wars.

You died with Windu. You died with the first youngling. You died when your Master struck you down. You died when you kneeled to your new Master, in that penthouse where you discovered his terrible secret and his seductive truth. You died and all that was left was hollow.

When padme died, when your children died, the hollow was filled with void. You become the void filling the suit. The suit is empty. You inhabit it, but it envelops you. This is who you are. This was your fate. You are now dead. You are now alive.

Anakin Skywalker, human being, has died. Long live Darth Vader, Lord and faithful servant of the Galactic Empire. This is what remains.

hello everyone it is time for my favourite shitpost comics i've ever made

originally the main antagonist of Shattered Worlds was Shadowy, a parallel to Mephiles in a similar way to Chrome being a parallel to Silver. he stole the Phoenix Orb that Chrome was supposed to be guardian of, ran amok with it, and then got exploded. the shards of the orb would've been scattered throughout the Shattered Worlds, but Shadowy himself would've been still clinging to live in the nullspace between worlds

(as a side note, you would not believe how hard i lost my shit when i played Forces and found out the Phantom Ruby warps reality and can access a dimension called Nullspace)

anyway. none of that matters. what does matter is that shadowy may not be actually canon to CV outside of the limbo of Early Installment Weirdness but he is extremely fun to draw and his voice is now permanently rtfd mephiles

How do you feel about Reylo these days? Do you still read fic? (I know I have a similar taste to you about Reylo fic, which makes finding it hard to begin with). Also, have you rewatched TLJ since TROS? I tried doing it but it hurt too much. Hope you are doing well, still love reading your old posts and your new posts as well.

I haven't read any fic in a while, but I certainly will again. I'll always love the ship, but as you say, it's pretty difficult to find fic that has everything important going for it set in the canon universe. I've read mountains and mountains of reylo AUs that I enjoyed, but when it comes to canon verse, the pickings are slim. I got frustrated and depressed about it, so I haven't been looking lately.

I haven't, not in full. It's going to be a long time.

Maul is a cockroach because killing him like you would a normal person, just doesn't fucking work. You can hose this man down with a whole water tower's worth of Raid and the bitch will somehow not only develop an immunity, but then crawl into your bed at night just to make you choke on all the empty Raid cans.

Obi-Wan is a cat because despite everyone's best efforts, he continuously survives scenarios that would have obliterated lesser men. Like your average house cat, he fully acknowledges the fact that he may be outmatched by a larger and deadlier creature but ultimately chooses to square up regardless. Despite the fact that he continues to get into these deadly scrapes, he always comes out looking refined (despite any and all life threatening injuries) and wouldn't look the least bit out of place just curled up in a cozy sun spot.

Came across someone in my notes saying that Obi-Wan has cockroach energy and this is simply not true! Maul has cockroach energy! Obi-Wan has cat energy! I will explain the difference as soon as I figure out what it is!
