pranks omg. the more pranks the more childish he acts around the cast, the more obvious that hes showering them with his love and affection for them. lily’s already reached the level of just sighing and accepting the pranks, and someone even asked if cheol if he’d rather deal with jeonghan’s teasing or jun’s pranks. cue the panic and stress because neither option is good for ones health. at least jun’s victims are mostly just lily alisa and minghao sooo. cheol’s mental state can take a breather. (“jie~ lets go get some chinese food. malaganguo hongshaorou ni bu hui ye xiang he zhengzhunaicha ma~?” “i- okay…”) half the time minghao cannot believe for the life of him that jun is a year older. “im letting you guys in on a secret, ive been tolerating him for years” is what he says especially when jun’s messing with him in front of their juniors. jun’s sHAMELESS TOO when it comes to pickup lines, dropping them randomly and grinning widely when the person receiving it is bright red, flustered, and unable to reply. but then koff at some point in the future, one of his constant targets flirts back and the way his smile just. drops. she’ll listen to the cast talk, they can ramble on forever, and she’ll just listen quietly. but it’s not like she’s zoned out, proper reactions are still given! ironically, compared with lily, she’s 100% the extrovert, but when the two of them hang out, from an outside perspective, you’d think lily was the e because she just goes on rants or starts talking excitedly whenever a shared interest or topic is brought up and alisa just likes listening to her view on it all. (“sorry… did you want to get back to slughorn’s paper?” “oh merlins beard no. ive been listening, don’t worry, lily. keep going. besides, you cant stop your story now!”) another thing is that she’ll have specific inside jokes or little things individual to every member of the cast. it’s something only she and the other can understand, which makes it special. like with jeonghan, it’s a running joke for her to wreak havoc on him in hopes of making his hair color change, which he is aware of so he returns the chaotic energy nearly twicefold sometimes lolol. or with vernon, they have a fun thing of mimicking each other’s dramatic reactions, especially when the other is doing a presentation of sorts. being in different classes and years won’t stop them! once joshua just witnessed the whole thing during one of his free periods, watching alisa pull random faces (to him at least. they seemed vaguely familiar though…) and then scaring her half to death when she turned around to find him just standing there. (“do i even want to know what you’re doing to poor vernon?” “bloody hell- at least make some sound to announce your presence shua.”) and then alisa just gets headpatted while he accompanies back to whatever class she snuck out of under the pretense of “going to the hospital wing.”

minghao

hao’s a muggleborn (and hes in slytherin too a slay i must say) anyway, his phone is FILLED with pictures of the people he cares about (ie best friends and family). any small moment, whether its meaningful or just something he finds funny, his phone is snapping away and recording everything. when the cast finished their first year together (minus vernon unfortunately for age diff reasons), minghao was snapping away, taking both candid and posed shots of everyone when they were leaving kings cross and when they were still heading out of hogwarts. plus some pics of him, jeonghan, and jun in the slytherin dorms clowning around in the last night (read: just jun because hannie does not have enough energy for that and minghao was attempting to meditate his tolerance for bs needs to improve if he has to deal with jun, jeonghan, and alisa for the next six years) anyway. he looks back on them sometimes and just smiles and reminisces quietly. whenever he does that, though, he just sorts them into albums: “slytherin gang,” “evil/actual twins,” “<3,” and more. like joshua, though, its the little things he does, but while joshua’s things are more like random (imo at least like memorizing someone’s drink orders or indulging their hand-fidgety habits seems plenty random to me but anyway), hao actively like makes sure the cast is getting through with basic needs i.e. did jun crash into another marble column, did lily sleep too late, did vernon eat enough. (“hao, i promise i did not stay up reading-” “have you looked in the mirror, lily.” “i was born with those eyebags!”) sometimes minghao just drags vernon over to the slytherin table and gives him his plate full of food and makes sure the latter is eating properly. (cheol was worried that hao was threatening murder at first but all was good lolol) also as students, another basic need relates to homework, so of course, hao and cheol are in charge of making sure that everyones assignments are finished. or in some cases if pestered enough, minghao is willing to revise their assignments (mostly just jun and vernon). (“didn’t you say that you understood the bowtruckle’s anatomy just yesterday?” “well yea… and then i kind of forgot everything after dinner.””for gods sake, jun.”)

vernon

vernon may be oblivious to many things, not paying attention to details, but once he develops a routine for certain stuff he’ll keep to it. for starters, he texts cheol, joshua, lily, jun, and hao the first thing in the morning when he wakes up (mostly because they know how texting works-) but when he sees the rest of the cast, he says hi, greeting them instantly. he’s also the one who comes up w the idea to teach the non-halfblood-muggleborns to use devices and his patience w that is ridiculous- (“IT’S RINGING, LILY- WHY THE BLOODY HELL IS IT SHAKING-” “ALISA, FOR GODS SAKE- I ALMOST DROPPED HANNIE’S PHONE INTO THE SINK, YOU MORON-” “YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO BE HELPING ME?!” “ahh, so your phone started shaking because a notification showed up. i texted you so that you could save my number.” “oh. merlins beard, why didnt you just tell me beforehand, vernon-” “...i dont know…”) anyway vernons also really passionate about music right? so over the course of a few holiday breaks, he compiles a spotify playlist for every one of them and for every one, he tears out some parchment and writes down some comment for each song in said playlist. “it reminds me of whenever you get mad at us for sneaking food from kitchens, cheol…” or “no particular reason the girlboss vibes are just there yk?” hao actually teared up a little and just hugged vernon without saying much. He stares right at her.

“Have you even forgotten about that ‘raincheck’ we talked about, Ji?” she slightly tilts her head sideways, then puts her lips into a thin line. “Earlier?  …this week?”

More staring.

“You told me? Because you were busy and…” She bits her lip, necessarily pausing to give time for him to put the puzzle pieces together, but he’s just left with more pieces. Y/n suppresses a huff.  “Nothing…?”

She crosses her arms when Jihoon looked more confused than he already is with handling plants in their Herbology classes. And FYI, he got an E on his O.W.L.S. result.

“I honestly don’t know what you’re talking about.” He says in defeat. Y/n only nods absentmindedly, leaning in close to him to remind him of some things.

“You told me that I can come by this week since your schedule’s more free, and that if I can come by at my convenience… I can then spend time together with you in the dorms...” she says, as if laying out a parchment of proof for him to remember. Exams might’ve taken a huge toll on his brain power hence being so absentminded.

Jihoon goes back to his stern look at her, as if he really can’t trace back on anything that he might possibly said.

Y/n slumps her shoulders yet again.

“At least look like you’re happy to see me.” Y/n cooed, gesturing a bit of affection to trickle out of the male’s sharp expression.

Finally, Jihoon’s features soften.

Okay, he does remember some of it coming off his lips, but I didn’t mean it in a sense you barging in here like a mad woman…  He holds back a sigh.

“Well, I am, but still…” He looks away for a moment, worrying his lower lip. Being a prefect he is… he’s also bothered of course. She might get in trouble.  Not on my watch that she’ll get away with it, that is.

“Stop worrying too much, and let me be…” She says in retort, automatic as if reading his mind. But that’s full of guts for her to express. “Besides, the seniors know me too well. I assure you I am safe here.” She stretches a bit, and even gets comfortable by the toasty fire nearby. It contrasts with the cold stares the older male is giving her, along with the cold weather cooping them inside.

He rolls his eyes at her, letting out a chuckle. 

“This is why you get issued on how much of a Slytherin you are.”

“And do you think I care, Oppa?” Y/n sat right up at that, then pouts her lips, playing with the ends of her sleeves. “I don’t think that’s a bad thing though.”

“Like I said, so Slytherin-like of you.”

Y/n emits a soft laugh at that, standing up to even do a curtsy for him. “Thank you, my good Sir.”

It remained quiet after a while.

Even as she gives him a smirk, she still gets silence from the older male. The coldness surrounding them reflects the feeling like the foggy glassed walls enrapturing the muddled stares between them. It’s a distinct type of tension, no words are needed to be exchanged to reveal it.  

Y/n shakes her head lightly, perking a brow at him followed by a cheeky smile. “So that means to say I am welcome here anytime then, huh?”

That finally got a reaction from him.

“Unbelievable.”

“Dude , you’ve been seeing bizarre, floating things and disappearing objects on and off for almost two decades,” she throws her hands high, then gesturing at him and to herself, “and you do not believe in an enchanted lady like me?”

“I do agree with the ‘enchanted lady’ part.” He responds and then clears his throat.

Jihoon avoids his gaze as he begins to feel he’s letting himself loose. He shrugs off the blush across his ears and cheeks with a question he had been throwing at the younger.

“What actually brings you here, Y/n?”

She laughs at that, putting both her hands behind her. “Oh, come on, babe. No need to sound so casual.” Y/n smiles. 

He just sounded stiff there at his probe.

She pats him on the head. “Lighten up a bit.”

In these instances, he begins to question if they really switched houses. He gets quieter and curious-er whenever she’s around, and her being the sneaky and more of the talker between them.

“I will, now that I got you here.”

Without a word, Y/n envelopes Jihoon in her arms, giving him a light peck on the side of his face. Jihoon wraps his arms around her as he kisses the top of her head.

He breathes in her scent, feeling her legs wrap around his. Jihoon stares at her. “You missed me too much, huh?”

Y/n just warmly beams, nodding in response.

Jihoon then puts a stray hair of hers behind her ear, tucking more of her hair behind her jumper. He leans closer to her again, seeping in more of her warmth.

She scrunches her nose at that, with Jihoon’s eyes forming into light crescents as both of them are immersed into each other’s world again. 

They just let the sound of the loud pouring rain seep into them, letting the warmth of each other be enough to ease the coldness they feel.

“What are the odds to have both our classes cancelled, huh?” Jihoon asks after a while, content as the sound of the rain is still evident outside. Y/n finally has done her explaining to him.

“And what better way to spend it like this then.” She leans more on his chest, breathing in his fresh scent with ease as she felt vibrations from him as he lets out a chuckle.

“It does feel nice…” he says, more of a thought out loud.

“And come on, champ, let’s not use our spare time thinking about that and just spend it wisely instead.” she prompts with a pat on his shoulder, scootching closer till they’re no longer hair strands apart. So clingy.

“I’m just saying.” Jihoon moves his arm above the shoulder, playing bits of her hair.

She feels his shoulders relaxing as he heaves in a deep breath.

It feels nice here, it gets more comfortable as time passes, she thought, closing her eyes.

Like home.

She lets the silence envelop them, a smile slowly forming a similar curve on both their lips.

Maybe she does belong here after all.

She accepts her Slytherin side more so in these instances.

And imagine if they were in the same house though… She can get all the time she needs and wants to have him at arm’s length and look after him.

But for now, she can manage very well to slither in their dorm to her convenience.

a/n : back in my harry potter tom riddle phase, that started when I was four and I had to combine it with the next thing dear to me. I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed writing this. Any support is very appreciated:). Love you.

seungcheol : You first met Seungcheol in your first year at the Sorting ceremony. All of the scared, wonder filled first years stood together, both of you included. When the Professor placed the hat before you couldn’t help but feel nervous. Which house will you be in? One boy next to you seemed to see your nervous face and reassuringly smiled as well as an eleven year old could. This was a few years ago. That boy was Seungcheol, who was sorted into Gryffindor, sadly not into the same house as you. That doesn't mean that you had never talked with him, you actually had few classes together and even were Potions partners. Seungcheol quickly realised that you’re slightly more introverted and didn’t have as many friends like he did. Seungcheol came up with a plan, but he decided to share his intentions with Wonwoo, his very introverted friend,  to see if it maybe wouldn’t be way too overwhelming. You were surprised when in one potions class Seungcheol proposed the idea of you going into Hogsmeade with him and his twelve friends. 

jeonghan : A cunning slytherin, a trouble maker. He can’t count how many times he got compared to the Marauders (he is like four of them combined). He doesn’t only pull mischief on other students, teachers and ghosts didn’t escape it either. Him and Peeves are a deadly combination, as they once scared Almost Headless Nick together and he swore that he had a heart attack. Madam Pomfrey was then sadly annoyed by that ghost, claiming that he needed some medical care. You observed from the background and couldn't help, but laugh every single time. You never talked with him, even though you’re in the same year as him and share a few classes together. Sadly you have never noticed, when he did his usual mischief act in the presence of other students, when he always glanced into the crowd of students to see you laughing. Finding himself addicted to it.

joshua : A hufflepuff, headboy and a prefect. Is a role model of all the young hufflepuffs and is the first crush of those young girls. Joshua is very kind hearted and gentle, not only in speech, but in action too. You remember when you were sorted into hufflepuff and met Joshua who was already in his second year. He was so welcoming and kind even then. It was genuinely impossible not to like him. It was now an exam eason at Hogwarts and you were struggling, herbology was kicking your ass. I mean how are you supposed to tell so many herbs and other plants apart? Thankfully Joshua came to rescue, he heard you in the common room telling your struggles to some of your friends and decided to be your tutor for a few weeks. As it was spring, Joshua decided to meet up outside under a tree. You must say that you didn’t expect it to be this relaxing, both of you sitting under a tree, covered under a shadow, sitting on soft grass, birds singing and Joshua reading some of his notes to you in a very gentle voice.

largely based on these descriptions that i made before and this request

chan comes from a line of aurors (on his dad’s side), which is very serious business for him. he must become an auror, just like he must eat that last slice of pumpkin pie during the holiday feasts

that’s actually why you two met. 

snape had gotten on his ass about the state of his work. there was a lot of “the quality is lower than dung” and a lot more slander against gryffindor. it ended with him needing a potions tutor. 

it was crucial at the time, since you had to have a minimum of five NEWTs in challenging subjects. the recommended included defense against the dark arts (which chan more than excelled in), transfiguration, charms, herbology, and of course… potions. not only that, you needed an ‘outstanding’ or ‘exceeds expectations’ in these subjects to qualify. 

the way it was going, chan was sure he would be getting a ‘poor’ or ‘fair’ if he was lucky. snape literally was going to boil him alive like he was a bat spleen if he didn’t do well in his next essay. 

and that’s how he met you, the supposed savior of potions failures. jk. you weren’t nicknamed that. 

yet. 

one of chan’s friends (seungkwan) had told him that there was someone who did exceedingly well in potions -- just like how he does with defense against the dark arts. 

so, right after he had injured himself in quidditch practice and benched himself once again (by chance, though it happened more often than he would’ve liked to admit), he approached you and asked for tutoring. 

you were going to be a potions professor. he replied, “that’s hot.” the embarrassment was instant, but you’d reckon that it kind of sparked the crush both of you had on each other. 

anyone replacing snape seemed sexy and hot and amazing to him, so you were like the golden angel shining as you got him through each essay. 

it was actually more like love at first conversation, since chan was so enamored with you that he couldn’t help but want to pay more attention in potions. if not to improve his grades, at least to impress you. 

eventually, you two spent a lot of time together in the library between his potions essays, your DADA theory homework, and all of chan’s other classes that you had gotten really close to each other. 

you liked that he remembered a lot of small things about you, like when you had mentioned it was your friend’s birthday two weeks back and he asked how the celebrations were like at the next tutoring session. 

over time, those tutoring sessions led to outside hangouts, then invitations to watch quidditch games together. he met your friends, you met his friends. you were actually spending more time together than with anyone else. 

his friends liked to tease and say that chan was just pretending to be bad at potions to get you to hang out with him more. 

you laughed along, but you had experienced his potions knowledge firsthand. 

speaking of those damned essays… they had such a remarkable improvement that even snape had done a double take when he realized who had written the essay he had just read and demanded that chan recite the knowledge to him in person or else receive a detention for cheating. needless to say, chan got away with only one detention (for forgetting the uses of mistletoe berry). he claimed it was the power of love. 

chan had confessed to you in a super cheesy way, as advised by his friend jeonghan (who claimed to have no involvement in the matter). he showed up to you on an afternoon that you had been with your friends holding a bouquet of flowers (that you had no idea where he got because hogwarts did not grow roses that were safe for humans) and a song to serenade you and confess his love. 

well, he never got to the song because you had (thankfully) stopped him before that and agreed to go on a date with him to hogsmeade. 

the rest was history, really.

hes so clingy and huggy help aksjfnsf, like hes the oldest but he just hugs the cast whenever. either cuz they’re not paying attention to him or hes just in the mood to. jun’s just eating breakfast normally and then cheol comes out of nowhere and hugs him from the back, arms around jun’s neck. the first few times he did this to ANY of the cast that were from slytherin, almost caused a riot because people were in shock “oh my god is the house rivalry over??????” not really no, there’s just the rare few from either house that can become besties with each other. pestering is another way that he shows he cares. not pestering but like looks after you and it’s a lot of it? babying the younger half of the cast is a better way to say it. on the way back from hogsmeade and alisa looks exhausted? he’ll give her a piggyback ride. minghao’s temper is clearly rising for reasons unknown? cheol’s there to resolve the issue as soon as he can. he’s also the type that just either falls asleep on you or lets you fall asleep on him. to him, being able to rest in front of someone is to say that you trust someone with your vulnerable side like yk?? the first time anyone fell asleep on him, it was on the way back to hogsmeade. they were all still chatting excitedly, with the exception of jeonghan and lily who were up ahead having a snowball fight (both snowballs and icicles were being thrown specifically), when he felt alisa’s head suddenly bump into his. he was piggybacking her again, but he didnt think she was tired to the point of falling asleep. he didnt mind tho. out of the entire cast, he and alisa were one of the closest in terms of older brother younger sister dynamic. decided to fall back so that he could watch the rest of their friends have fun while keeping alisa in a quieter “area” of sorts

because of the recent caratland (read: the only caratland that i saw a lot of videos of) i can just picture jeonghan just quietly carrying snacks in his pockets and handing them out to the cast randomly. especially during classes before lunch. for some reason, the slytherins are ridiculously unlucky, like how many years in a row can a house get stuck in potions before lunch? since theyre touching stuff like dead spiders and rat spleen blah blah, its obvious that they cant eat snacks so half the class is starving. double potions is even worse, so jeonghan just kind of… doesn’t touch anything. he’s prone to making the entire concoction shrivel up and die anyway so he lets alisa (his very unwilling potions partner) do everything BUT its because he can quietly feed her snacks as well as the rest of the cast. alisa was more than annoyed at first but then snacks were more important and it wasnt like jeonghan didnt help. at least he was reading out the instructions and trying to point out which was the next ingredient she needed. he also fiddles a lot with his hands when there’s nothing to hold on to. he could always hold onto his wand or quill but after he accidentally set alight his parchment by twirling his wand nonstop and splattered himself with ink via quill spinning, jeonghan kinda needed something else to fiddle with. so what does he do? takes the cast’s hands and starts playing with them. it’s definitely not something he does with anyone and in all honesty only lily and joshua were aware from the start. the others just let him without knowing why he liked to fiddle but it becomes more of a natural thing when they spot him making random shapes with his own hands and just reach over to put their hands over his

one word. headpats. it could be in a teasing way, an endearing way, he has his reasons for just reaching over patting the cast on the head. as role-modely as he is, he isn’t a perfect model student… (that title goes to minghao ngl) but anyway he gets distracted sometimes during class, and most of the time it’s because lily’s next to him doodling in her notebook or trying random enchantments. its because dada comes to her more naturally than other classes, but if the teacher calls on her and theres visible panic on her expression because she cant figure out the answer, joshua just makes things worse (he finds the whole situation hilarious) by patting her on the head, murmuring comments that leads to his leg getting kicked. (“should’ve paid attention, darling.” “if you don’t get your hand off of me, i have a pointy quill-”) the dada professor does not get paid enough to deal with their bs, but it was their decision to make assigned seats a requirement so- anyway apart from the whole headpatting, it’s the little things and by little, it’s simple things like memorizing their favorite things or just quietly going along with whatever antics anyone (read: jeonghan) planned. the latter, especially, he’ll just join in regardless of whether or not he approves- he has a prefect badge anyway. and a degree at jeonghan university he’ll bs his way out of trouble LOL. but yeah no, once vernon got sick during the holidays and so joshua sent him via owl post a bunch of his favorite foods and a few gifts too. (“did you get me the apple headphones max just because i was sick-” “well how else are you supposed to enjoy watching netflix and listening to music when your airpods run out of battery?) please note vernon’s a muggleborn and joshua’s a halfblood so yes they know about electronics-

it’s not exactly physical touch but lily does this thing where she’ll kind of hold onto their cloak or shirt or the strap of their bag while they walk in the same direction. there’s no particular reason, she just found that she felt really comfortable doing that, but if it’s someone that she isn’t close to, no way in hell you’ll ever see that happening to. if she were to ever start dating, she’d be the type of person that doesn’t do huge things in pda but would do the little things like hands in each others pockets or linking pinkies. another way she is with violence LOL. either she makes meaningless threats or she’ll pretend to punch the cast. if she does hit them though, itll be like a light one unless its obvious said person will be able to handle it. the few times that she accidentally does hurt one of the cast tho she’s immediately hugging them (despite not being a hugger) and apologizing repeatedly and laughing out of panic. jun for example is an often target. sometimes he just pulls random pickup lines or is tryna drag away minghao and in response lily just attacks him, quite literally jumping on him but then once she accidentally punched him in the eye and instantly threw her arms around him out of apology, rambling “sorrys” in mandarin and english. the more threats or attempted violence she does, the more you can tell that shes close w them. its her way of showing that she enjoys the persons company and loves them. (“so does this mean you’re going to finally say something to marshall~?” “alisa i will not hesitate to pitch you off the astronomy tower.”) sometimes she genuinely means to attack them tho but some ppl (jeonghan) are clueless (read: chooses to ignore the warning signs) and then this violent-ish harassing becomes a running inside thing. FOR EXAMPLE, the first time jeonghan brought up lily’s fear of insects, bugs, creepy crawly stuff yk? lily chucked her butter knife at him and it almost stabbed poor minghao who was just tryna revise jun’s herbology essay. earned two weeks worth of detention but now its a running thing for lily to threaten and pretend/actually throw things at jeonghan if he pokes fun at her. its only for certain personal-ish stuff tho like about not being prefect or quidditch… her fears… a certain crush wink wink

FLY HIGH | Chapter 6: D:

If there was one thing about (Y/n) it's that she is stubborn and persistent, and poor Lee Jihoon was about to learn the hard way. The Gryffindor's stubbornness predates her time at Hogwarts. When younger, her classmates told her she had the attention span of a fish and she couldn't finish a book even if she tried. So what did she do? Finished not only one but three books. One time in her second year, she ignored Mingyu for a week straight because he canceled on her to play video games with Jun. (It was the worst week of his life). Her persistence was just as bad but we won't even get into that.

The next day after she was rejected, she instantly jumped into action. She wasn't kidding when she said she WILL make him her tutor. Persistence is key after all.

“(Y/n) please reconsider taking me in as a tutor.” Mingyu practically begged while following the gryffindor keeper to the grand hall. Though, there was really no point in trying to sway her. She couldn't blame Mingyu for trying, but she couldn't tell if it was out of fear of her feelings being hurt or out of fear for Jihoon's safety.

"Gyu, it's going to be fine." (Y/n) huffed as the two of them walked down the hall towards the doors of the grand hall.

Before the tall male next to her could even get another word out, (Y/n) swung open the doors and strutted in. Her (e/c) eyes scanned the whole hall and paused at her usual table. All her friends were there and seemed to notice her entrance as they were all currently staring at her with troubled expressions. All seeming worried about her next moves.

The gryffindor's eyes quickly moved on from her friends and back to searching the area for her target.

She almost missed him from how fast she was looking around the room, but she saw just who she was looking for.

Lee Jihoon.

The Ravenclaw seemed to be peacefully watch his friends as they conversed amongst themselves. (Y/n) actually spotted a few that she knew and to her surprise her house's headboy was one of them. Hm, she never knew they were friends but that's not the point.

(Y/n)'s feet hopped into action and started making their way towards the table of friends.

"I thought Coups was going to kill the kid. I've never seen him get that mad." Joshua explained as Jeonghan raised an eyebrow.

"All of this over some weird furry dude going around making people give him money for some charity he made up?" The slytherin reiterated then let out a small hum, "Not going to lie, it's a smart way to get money."

Before anything else could be said, the table fell silent and all eyes were pointed at Woozi.

The ravenette took note of the sudden silence and looked up from his plate towards his, now silent, friends. His eyebrows furrowing when he noticed all their eyes pointed at him.

“What?”

"Hi!" An eerily familiar voice chirped behind the ravenclaw boy. Jihoon felt himself instantly grow a headache as he turned to see the person that had caught all his friends' attention. There behind him stood (Y/n) (L/n) wearing the same idiotic grin as last time.

The table of mixed house boys looked at Jihoon then back at (Y/n) and then once again back at Jihoon. While Jihoon stared up at the gryffindor keeper.

"Mind if I have a seat?" (Y/n) asked with a small tilt of her head, stupid grin still on her face.

"Yes." "No."

Woozi's head snapped in Joshua's direction. The hufflepuff's eyes glinting with an evil spark.

"Oh, Josh! I didn't know you knew Jihoon!" (Y/n) excitedly exclaimed while forcing herself between Wonwoo and Woozi, making herself comfortable. Jihoon cringed as she pushed him slightly to the side. Their shoulder's were practically touching before he scooted himself away. Wonwoo followed in suit but in a much more polite way.

"And I didn't know you knew Woozi either." Joshua replied with a sly smirk growing on his face as he rested his chin in his palm.

"Woozi?"

"It's nothing-" "Oh, it's just a nickname for him!"

This time Seokmin chimed in innocently.

'I'm going to either kill myself or the others' Jihoon felt his eye physically twitch as the thought flashed through his mind. (Y/n) excitedly greeted DK as well; seemingly happy to see another familiar face.

"So, (Y/n), Why are you here if you don't mind me asking?" It was only a matter of time till Minghao finally squeezed himself into the situation.

"Oh my gosh, Thank you for reminding me. You see I'm in a bit of a pickle and Woozi over here may be my savior if he ever so kindly tutored me. So I was coming over in the hope of getting an okay from him." (Y/n) explains as Jihoon cringes at the use of his nickname on her lips.

"First off, don't call me that. We aren't friends. Secondly, no."

"Now, now Jihoon. No need to be so rude. (Y/n) came all this way over to kindly ask you for a small miniscule favor." Jeonghan's voice held nothing but devilry.

You know what? No. Jihoon was NOT going to deal with this today.

Without another word, Jihoon got up from his seat and turned on his heels then made his way out of the grandhall. (Y/n) watching, a slight grimace on her lips. "I pissed him off, didn't I?" She asked while sucking a sharp breath through her teeth. Her (e/c) eye searching the table of boys for a response.

Wonwoo's calm voice cut through the silence, "Don't take it too personally. He tends to get irritated easily."

"Don't worry, I wasn't even thinking that. His actions actually are my motivation...So, If you don't mind-" The girl then stood from her seat, "I will take my leave." A confident smile graced her face as she turned to leave.

"Wait, (Y/n)." The gryffindor's dorm leader stopped the girl in her tracks. Her head peeked over her shoulder in curiosity. "Can you please, for the love of god, get Soonyoung to return the money he has taken from the kids around the school?"

"I mean, I can try but there is no guarantee. Anyways, toodles!"

A silence falls across the table before Wonwoo sighs,

"Jihoon's life is going to be hell from now on, isn't it?"

"Yes it is, but this is going to be the best entertainment for us." Minghao snickered out as he watched (Y/n) practically skip out of the hall.

And Wonwoo was right.

For the next few weeks, every waking moment, Jihoon would be somehow tracked down by a certain keeper and never had a moment of peace. Whether it was in the library, to a class, or even hiding in the supply closet: (Y/n) was there to bother her favorite tutor-to-be. No matter where he would be greeted by the same: “oh hey!”, “Woah funny finding you here”, “Heyyyy”, “whatcha doing?”, “what are you up to?”, etc. He really couldn’t understand how she found so many variants to pop up and greet him.

Today wasn’t the exception (much to his dismay). Woozi finally thought he found the best place to avoid her; the edge of the Forbidden forest. Surely she knew the dangers and wasn’t dumb enough to find him there. Hell, he knew the dangers but he was lucky enough to have the basic knowledge to know to stay just on the edge and also the spells to use in case of an emergency. The confidence he once had flowing through him came to a halt as he heard a voice that he dared to say rivaled nails on a chalkboard.

"Woozi! Hi! I didn't know you liked chilling here too!" The ever cheerful Gryffindor keeper greeted as she happily plopped down by the defeated Ravenclaw.

(Y/n)'s (e/c) eyes sparkled as she rested her chin in the palms of her hands, "What are you up to today? Studying? Reading? Writing?? Oooh, you have that one notebook I always see you with! Are you working on something in there-"

"Jesus Christ! Do you ever quit?!" Jihoon snapped a bit louder than he would've liked, but it got the girl to fall silent. His frustration growing with every second she sat with him. A man could only take so much, and (Y/n) was pushing the boundary on how much Woozi could take.

A silence enveloped the two as the (h/c) stared at the boy in front of her, her eyes wide at his outburst.

"Um.."

"What?!" Jihoon snapped out again with a more controlled volume. "I literally have tried everything to get you to leave me alone. EVERYTHING. I was even tempted to hex you but Shua talked me out of it! What the hell do I have to do to get you to let me be for one fucking second?!"

....

"Be my tutor...?"

The look on the Ravenclaw's face read of 'you have to be absolutely shitting me right now'. She was still on about this?? This was the reason he couldn't have some peace and quiet???

(Y/n) watched the boy with hopeful and somewhat fearful eyes. She knew it was messed up to wear him down so much to this point but listen, she was desperate and stubborn. She set her heart out on getting the best student to help her and, by god, she was going to have him help her no matter what.

Jihoon felt himself let out a sigh and deflate as he finally looked at her with his tired eyes, "That's it? If I tutor you...you will finally give me some peace?".

Success.

"Yes! I promise! As soon as my grades are up and I get the okay to play quidditch for the year, I promise I will never bother you again! I swear!" The girl nearly squealed out in excitement of finally getting the answer she wanted.

"Once you get your grades up, you won't bother me for the rest of our years at Hogwarts?" Jihoon questioned.

(Y/n) nodded at what seemed like lighting speed when asked. A smile seemingly stuck on her face while she watched the Ravenclaw deeply think about what he was about to get himself into.

With a final sigh, Jihoon finally gave in.

"Fine."

"YES!!!!" (Y/n) jumped up from her spot and cheered, even doing an animated twirl of excitement in the process. "Thank you, thank you, thank you! I swear I will be the best tutee, you've ever had-"

"Tutee?-"

"I pinky swear!" The Gryffindor girl exclaimed as she ducked back down to where they were sitting, her pinky extended. She stood there eagerly waiting for the boy to lock pinkies with her.

Woozi stared at the girl in front of him blankly then turned his attention to her extended finger, and then back to her face before simply huffing and shoving her hand away from his face, "Whatever...", and with that Jihoon got up and walked away from (Y/n), who was still standing there with a dumb smile on her face.

Summary: (Y/n) is the pride of Gryffindor’s quidditch team, though that may come to an end if her grades keep dropping the way they are now. As a last hope of not being kicked before the new season starts, the Gryffindor starts her search for a tutor. Thus comes in the quiet grumpy Ravenclaw genius, Lee Jihoon. But why would he be willing to help someone he doesn’t know? Simple; to get the ever annoying and energetic (Y/n) off his back.

I have really been struggling with depression so it been really hard to find the motivation to write, HOWEVER, I had been working on this on and off for weeks meaning that I’m slowly starting to make my way back.
