His shirt says “[loudly implied cannibalism].” You guys should have heard the cheers when he stepped out in the flower crown! Every question about the end of Hannibal was skipped over, because he said he hoped for another season. At the end of the panel, he asked how many people were there for Hannibal (because most questions were about James Bond and Doctor Strange). The cheering got VERY loud, so he thanked us and said we are why there’s still hope. I got to ask him why he thought something as thematically dark as Hannibal would inspire a fandom so light that the main fanworks are things like “flower crown edits.” He said it was because the dark aspects were presented very artistically, very beautifully, and the fandom responded to that by creating artistic, beautiful fanwork.

Wow! Officially the end of the Con season for me! Started the year in Seattle at @emeraldcitycomiccon for a 3rd year in a row. Then onto my hometown show at @svcomiccon! Had a great time at @comic_con and finished the year as a guest at the amazing @toyxpo! Thanks to all the Con organizers and all the people that have supported my art over the years! Attention Cosmere

At Silicon Valley Comic Con this weekend I met a cool person who was cosplaying in a havah and took her picture, but forgot to get her permission to post it to the internet! I also regret not getting her contact info so we could keep in touch, as she sounded excited about the doll project I’m working on and it’s always nice to find other Brandon Sanderson fans in the area. She had purple hair and her havah was blue.

If you know who I’m talking about, please let her know I’d like to say hi!

I got to meet my favourite companion! I got to meet my hero! And oh my god, she was the sweetest person ever!

I talked to her about saving for medical school, and she told me she heard it costs a lot in the US. I sheepishly nodded, and she talked about talking to real-life doctors in preparation for some of her roles. She told me she has immense respect for me (WHAT?) and said she wasn’t going to wish me luck because she could already see I was a motivated and kind individual. Let me tell you guys, I just about died.

When she saw the picture I bought for her to sign, she was surprised (I was wearing a TARDIS necklace and earrings and I’d told her she was my favourite companion), but I said that I started watching Sense8 because of her and always felt bad because I had nothing like my earrings and my necklace for Sense8. She said she understood because she had had a blue marker she wanted to use for the TARDIS, but then David Tennant in the much busier booth beside her, (god, I felt really awful even though I was also really glad because it meant she could spend more time talking to me) needed another blue marker. Somebody brought one back right after she signed the picture, so the hearts and stars you see in the photo are blue. (She referred to it as TARDIS blue. My HEART you guys!)

Freema Agyeman, you’re my favourite actress of all fucking time. And you’re still my hero.
