Here is a price and spec based comparison of the Honda Activa i and the Yamaha Fascino. The Honda Activa i is cheaper, retailing at Rs 53,900 whereas the Yamaha Fascino sells at Rs 57,512. The Honda Activa i has the smaller engine here, at 109.19cc, producing 8bhp and , while the Yamaha Fascino is powered by a 113cc engine which produces 8bhp and . Read on for a detailed specification comparison. Powering the Fascino is a 125cc air-cooled engine with fuel injection as standard. The motor is capable of producing 8.2 BHP and 9.7 Nm of peak torque. As for the Activa, it uses a 124cc fan-cooled engine with PGM-FI. The power spec is just 0.1 BHP lesser, at 8.1 BHP. The torque is higher by 0.6 Nm, at 10.3 Nm peak. Due to revisions to the BS-6 engine and addition of Fuel injection, the mileage figures are better than the BS-4 version. The Fascino now offers 16% better mileage, of around 58 kmpl. The mileage of Activa 125 is higher by 30%, expected around 52-53 kmpl. Both the scooters will offer a riding range of around 300 kms. The features list of Fascino includes: Auto Start Stop System CBS (Combi Braking System) LED Headlamps Analogue Classic Instrument Panel In-built Side Stand Engine Cut off Switch USB charger. The features of Activa 125 are better, including: Start-Stop Technology Analogue Instrument Console with MID showing real time mileage, average mileage, remaining range, etc. LED headlamps and LED tail lamps Pass Switch External Fuel Filler Cap Side Stand Engine Cut off Front Glove Box CBS. For suspension, both of them use telescopic forks at the front. At the back, Fascino gets a unit swing arm suspension. The Activa 125 uses advanced 3-step adjustable spring-loaded hydraulic at the back. On the Fascino, you get front and rear drum brakes as standard with an option of a front disc brake. Activa 125 comes with front disc and rear drum brakes as standard. Both use 12-inch front and 10-inch rear tyres. The Fascino is longer than the Activa 125 by 70mm and is lighter as well, by nearly 12 kgs. The Activa, in turn, is wider by 22mm, taller by 20mm and offers a better ground clearance of 169mm, compared to 145mm of Fascino. The list of other rivals includes Suzuki Access 125, Hero Destini 125 and Hero Maestro Edge 125. Hero scooters are yet to receive BS-6 engines, but the Maestro Edge is already equipped with FI. So, it is ready for the transition and would not demand a major price hike. Suzuki has unveiled the BS-6 Access 125, but is yet to announce the prices.

There it is, "My Blue Beauty" as @curlyhaired_dreamer would call it. I want to get you back. I had amazing morning race moments with @rvndtg , evening races with Mudit, would swap vehicles with @ankit_soni31 and @addy_de_reborn , would persuade @tanmay_sf1930 and Sarvjit to learn to ride it, have photography sessions with @onkar_kr and evening food with @miraki_metanoia . I also went on an amazing ride to Lonavala with @mr_anmolmathur , @denmachines and @manthan1294 in December 2018. It remained a loved one among my friends, and a best vehicle I have had ever been with on ride. Note: My scooter got sold in 17th July 2019. It served me well, perhaps the best ride that I ever have taken. Seriously, it remains the most comfortable vehicle that I have ever rode, and people who had ridden with me would agree.
