A new face joins the Eriverse! :D
Miku! Miku! Ooo Wee Ooo!
Yea, I decided to add Vocaloids. They are gonna be more of a direct connection for NSR to the JJK curses and HS trolls as she is (was) on the same side as them.
No one actually believes she is the real Miku, and just thinks someone made a robot AI of her like what Sayu became. But it was actually the real Miku coming alive! It takes a while for people to believe that (and she doesn't mind as long as she can sing and perform for people, so NSR is her goal!)
And yea. Also adding in Steven Universe, but it's just a few gems and not any actual characters from the show, except maybe White Diamond. Basically the plot of Steven Universe could happen later in life even farther beyond the Future Act of Eriverse (but for now it is just White Diamond and random gems like pearls and rubies).

I see you might have a thing for codependent ships… (not complaining though, they’re really fun to see in fiction!)
(Ilia/Dagon) (maybe, but I see Dagon as someone who ain’t that possessive of anything, but maybe on Ilia’s end…)
Yamikumo/Kurourushi
Yuta/Rika
Pearl/Rose
Ruby/Sapphire
Pavitr/Gayatri
(To some extent Satoru/Suguru, Fumihiko/Ham, …Margo/Tila, Yinu/Peni due to their messed up experiences in the past)
I’d love to hear your thoughts! Are there any other MFers/pos with this type of ship feel? (And I apologize in advance if this take on Ilia/Dagon (StringSea??) is off)
[Just starting this ask but buckle up, I think it's gonna be a longer one than usual lol. Not even halfway through and realized this needs to be under a cut, so I'll be doing that :3. Oh yea, just finished, it's a long one y'all!]
Love when people notice things about me that I didn't even know about myself lol! I had literally no idea there were THAT many codependent ships in my library haha!
Though, looking up the term "codependent" says that one party is being manipulative while the other has a want to be controlled/satisfy the needs of the person who is manipulative/has an emotionally unstable personality.
Which I don't think fully fits a lot of these ships, but I think both you and I had a different idea of "codependent" where the partners are both just REALLY dependent on each other to the point they can't function that well without the other, which was my first thought of what codependency was and not one side being manipulative while the other tries to serve the other side.
At least that is how I see a lot of these ships. [Under the cut]
-For the Ilia/Dagon ship (StringSea songs like string cheese in my head lol. I might go with Sea String instead though I think that's already something else, but it's a good starting ship name!), I would say it's not codependent but instead obsessed with each other.
Pre-evolved Dagon was very dependent but not just on Ilia, on basically all the curses because they just weren't evolved yet so needed that dependency. Once they evolved and could do more stuff for themself (they could still do stuff before but needed help if another enemy curse was involved) they were a lot more self sufficient and didn't NEED any help but would still like it.
I wouldn't say Ilia is possessive of Dagon, but he is very protective. He's honestly protective of all the curses, Dagon being the most protective because the two are in a relationship.
The two can function without the other but just like being near each other a lot and so people can get the idea that they are codependent on each other.
Both would absolutely kill for the other and has (and not just in life or death situations, they have killed humans for the other just to eat or play with as well lol).
-Yamikumo and Kuroshi are absolutely codependent. There is no alternative to them at all.
Kuroshi is the much more dependent of the relationship because he literally needs Yamikumo to live as she infuses her flesh with cursed energy/magic in order for Kuroshi to actually be able to eat it.
Swap Uraume's cursed energy infused food used to do the same thing, but Kuroshi's powers have grown past the phase where even reinforced food barely gives any sustenance (and absolutely no substance), so he is at the mercy of Yamikumo and has a high priority to keep her alive for as long as possible otherwise he dies as well.
Yamikumo isn't as dependent on Kuroshi in a physical way like he is with her, but she mentally can't see herself living without him. He's been there for her for decades and is the one person she actually talks to and can be herself around him (not even her little brother sees her true self because she's always protecting him, seeing him more like a pet to keep alive rather than an actual human being, but that's a story for another time).
She could technically live without Kuroshi, but she wouldn't really want to. Her life would become boring and trying to find a replacement for him to the point she'd probably ruin a bunch of relationships around her trying to fill that void.
I can absolutely see her having a huge crash out if Kuroshi died and becoming a despicable curse user that would be very difficult to take down because of her technique and cursed weapon.
-Yuta and Rika are similar to Yamikumo and Kuroshi, but to a slightly lesser degree? Kind of?
They are both dependent on each other in the sense that their love is what pushes them, but they can absolutely function alone when needed and will even have other healthy friendships for the most part outside of their relationship (Kuro/kumo really only have each other and some fleeting friendships around them that aren't their biological familial relationships).
Rika is obviously the much more dependent and possessive one in the relationship. She used to never want to see Yuta with anyone else, especially other girls, but has been getting better over time where she can let Yuta have other friends outside of her.
Yuta is pretty good functioning outside of Rika, but I would say he is still real protective of her. Especially as he has grown stronger with his powers, he feels like he has to be the one to protect her as he is more offensively built compared to her more defensive powers (though their mindsets are swapped where Yuta is much more defensive and Rika is offensive in how they want to fight).
This could be a much more classic case of codependency, like the actual definition version. Where Rika is manipulating Yuta into staying in the relationship and Yuta wanting to do whatever she can to appease Rika, but it is absolutely not intentional on Rika's part.
Rika just truly loves and adores Yuta and has this want to keep them to herself. Yuta has a people pleasing personality (which he is working on to fix and be more tough when necessary) which makes him want to appease Rika a lot.
Neither are trying to actively alienate and hurt the other, but they are teenagers who don't know how to fully process their emotions entirely and found true companionship for the first time in each other so it's really hard for either of them to let the other go even if it would be much healthier for them to be apart (not saying it is, but if they don't work on themselves individually as well as a couple, their relationship is going to get very toxic in the future).
As long as they can recognize what their relationship is and can figure out ways to mature by themselves as well as together, they will be fine. But yes, right now they are highly dependent on each other to get the validation they crave (though Yuta has been making friends and so Rika feels alone sometimes which makes her more possessive and protective. Once she starts making friends, possibly with Mai and Momo, or even Todo and Yuji would be funny, she'll be able to start working on herself and being able to function outside of being by Yuta's side).
If you want to talk about the human with their entity/curse counterpart, then basically it's just that Rika (human and curse) is very dependent on Yuta (curse and human).
Curse/entity Rika is the most dependent on Yuta because she literally will go on a complete rampage without Yuta as an anchor (entity Rika can end up anchoring to human Rika and then to entity Rika once human RIka dies).
Human Yuta is dependent on curse Rika until the curse is broken, then he's more dependent on her as a tool rather than an emotional crutch. Similar with entity Rika, except he became less dependent on entity Rika once human Rika returned.
Human Rika is very dependent on curse and entity Yuta as emotional support and for keeping her alive with their healing magic/RCT. Curse Yuta is her last connection to Yuta and so I don't think she ever breaks the curse, at least not as a teenager, and entity Yuta is more of a stand in for human Yuta which she gets back once she returns.
Curse/entity Yuta is probably the least dependent out of everyone, in the sense that I can see them being able to survive without Rika just in a heatbroken manner. More of a depressed reactive (as in reacts to stuff coming to them) anger rather than being an active anger like Rika. Is based off of love for Rika but in a protective way, keep Rika alive way, not a kill everyone around Rika way that curse/entity Rika is with Yuta. Still loves and is dependent on Rika, but not nearly as much as curse/entity Rika is on Yuta (or human Rika is for any Yuta).
-With Pearl/Rose, oh absolutely Pearl is super dependent on Rose. That was like a WHOLE thing in the show and will be in the Eriverse as well (most of the SU canon is pretty much unchanged in my mind right now, if I put more thought into that part of the AU I'm sure there will be big changes).
Rose isn't as dependent on Pearl, especially not later on in their lives. She still holds Pearl in great regard, but in all honesty, Rose doesn't really depend on others all that much in the first place.
It's not even a codependent relationship where Rose is using Pearl, as Rose wants Pearl to be free and be her own gem, but Pearl is constantly wanting to be of use, to be a tool, to Rose. So it's more Pearl creating this toxic relationship that Rose doesn't really see/hasn't noticed yet because she's too busy trying to become her own gem as well.
So it's definitely Pearl having dependency on Rose while Rose is sorta oblivious to just how much Pearl is still devoted to her.
-Ruby/Sapphire. Pretty sure these are the two that literally made me start liking this kind of relationship in fiction so much lol!
Like these two cannot, for most of the story, function without the other at all. Once they fell in love they became a perma fusion so that their love could be it's own gem entirely!
It was beautiful but also making them stunted in their growth, which they were able to work on as the years went by and they started to become their own gems outside of Garnet, but still hold that love between them while unfused.
I love them so much and while they aren't as messy and toxic as some of the other ships on here that I adore (Yamikumo and Kuroshi the most I love), they are still messy enough to be still so interesting and loving at the same time!
-For Pavitr and Gayatri, I don't see them as codependent at all. Neither one truly depends on the other at all. They are literally just the healthy version of Yuta and Rika lol.
These two just love each other a whole lot but aren't putting the other on a pedestal (other than like how Gomez put Morticia on a pedestal, which these two do to each other), suffocating each other in their love, or ignoring/hating the world if it doesn't revolve around either one of them.
For the most part, they are just a healthy, loving couple that can go about doing their own thing or enjoy each others' company. They don't have separation anxiety for the other and have full trust in the other as well. They build each other up and push them to do better and progress in life.
So yea, Pav and Gaya are not a codependent relationship.
-SatoSugu I can definitely see being codependent. Neither would probably admit it, but you can see it in how they act when they are not with the other.
Plus also, I think the way they fight would absolutely be explosive but they literally can't stay away from each other that much.
Satoru is absolutely the more clingy one of the relationship, and Suguru can do his own thing more often, but they each enjoy each others' company and will destroy the world to be with each other.
Even when Suguru left Satoru for a while (to become a father and then be brainwashed by Kenjaku), he still thought a lot of blue and wanted to try and make the relationship work.
They definitely depend on each other. They are each others' best friend. They love each other until the end of the world. Though Satoru is the one more willing to crashout because of the relationship while Suguru needs more external forces (so a similar relationship like Rose and Pearl except that Suguru returns Satoru's feelings).
-Fumihiko and Ham I don't see as being codependent. Not really?
They are absolutely close, but I don't see them as like needing each other to live. They definitely help give extra purpose and meaning to the others' life (especially Ham having Fumihiko pull her out of a pretty bad depression in the case of her aunt situation), but they aren't like fully dependent on each other.
I kinda see the two as being on a similar level of Pav and Gaya. At least once they get back together during the culling games does their relationship become a lot more healthy and stable compared to what they had before.
Actually, now that i think about it, I can absolutely see their first go of their relationship being really codependent, especially on Funihiko's end where they were so reliant on Ham to feel like they were being a good comedian that it was one of the added reasons that Ham had to leave when her aunt got sick. Ham literally couldn't be the rock that Fumihiko needed because of her situation.
It's only after the couple of years separated and the crisis of the world that the two were able to mature into two new people that could give the relationship another chance without it delving into codependency on each other.
So they were a codependent relationship that was able to work itself out over time and try again to be a more healthy relationship.
-Margo and Tila... Yea, I can see it.
Tila is very dependent on Margo for a lot of things. Though honestly, she's dependent on a lot of people throughout her life, especially her friends and the mermaids, but now she's mainly dependent on Margo. Not in the sense of the definition of codependency.
Tila has a lot of mental problems that she has to work through each day to try and have a normal life. Margo helps her with that as best as bit can (as well as Tila having communications with the rest of the Sayu Crew still to this day).
It's much easier for Tila to live with Margo in her life than it was without her as Margo gives her a really good ground to reality (though there are still stuff Tila struggles through even with Margo there). Not to mention that Margo is a comfort person for Tila, someone who she feels extremely safe with, so of course she is going to become really reliant on keeping Margo around.
And Margo loves Tila a lot. She's happy for the most part to be helping Tila. There are some rough days, but bit sticks through it because bit loves Tila.
Byte knows she can go off and live on bits own with no problem. But bit wants Tila in bytes life. Bit wants to be here and helping Tila even if bit knows she will have to also be a care giver to Tila at times. Byte knows that Tila is dependent on bit and doesn't mind it.
It's why it's such a tragedy that Margo took the risk to try and help TADC domain. Bit wants to help people and thought bit would be okay, only to lose byteself to the domain and effectively killed byteself in the process. Leavin Tila forever.
And absolutely we know this destroys Tila. If it wasn't for the Crew and Club, who knows what would have happened to her as she spiraled from the loss of Margo.
So kinda, they have a relationship where Tila is fairly dependent on Margo, but bit is happy to be there caring for Tila.
-For Yinu and Peni? I don't know. I honestly don't think they are a codependent relationship. They are more trauma bonded in my mind rather than codependent.
I actually think both would be super hyper independent and even after years of being together would sometimes have hard times asking the other for help or feeling like they can depend on the other (not in the sense of lack of trust, but more in not wanting to cause stress onto the other).
Instead, the two have become close by bonding over their shared trauma of losing family and having to put so much weight on their shoulders (Peni having to deal with causing the death of nyas father and Yinu feeling responsible for having to make a living for their family basically from the age of 5).
They are both a lot more mature than they should be given that they are just in their early 20s. It really is just the fact both were forced to grow up way too soon and so are still trying to figure themselves out outside of being the responsible ones.
So they are basically the opposite of dependent where they are trying to be as independent as possibly while still being in a relationship. Both are definitely going to be there for the other when needed, but neither are going to actually go out of their way to tell the other they need help until it is too late and there is a blowout (you can expect fights between them to be similar to Satoru and Suguru, very explosive and harsh but making up in the end).
-Two more relationships I want to add that are in the same boat kinda are Eve/Zuke and Eve/Purl-hew.
Both relationships have Eve using another person to make herself feel whole. She saw the potential that Zuke had and wanted him to be like her in an unstoppable and unreachable position. Purl-hew on the other hand was more of a replacement for Zuke for a small bit of time before she moved on from them.
We already know from the game how her relationship ended with Zuke, with her putting his hair on fire and him running away. Then her finally getting closure for that relationship later on.
During the relationship Zuke wanted to live up to her expectations but couldn't and was just so overwhelmed. While he wasn't the one depending on the relationship, he absolutely felt that he had to be there for Eve and make her feel better until the hair situation and he couldn't take that kind of role in a relationship anymore.
As for Eve and Purl, like I said, Eve was using Purl as a replacement for Zuke. The two actually acted pretty similar with their cool guy personality, which was what first drew Eve to Purl. That and the fact that Purl also does have an artistic side as well as an analytical personality that allowed Eve to desire their input (once Eve found out about these traits, because Purl tried to keep up a blank personality for a long time but let snippets of their interests fall through the cracks which Eve picked up on).
The problem was, Purl was a Navy warbot and child abuse victim. They were created and molded to follow orders. So when someone who has a higher rank than them tells them to do something, they do it (and Eve is a higher rank than 1010 in their eyes). That means that Purl felt they had no ability to say no to Eve. No say in whether they could actually want or deny her wishes.
So without even knowing it, Eve ended up taking advantage of Purl, and since Purl has a complex of needing people to need them, there were times they went out searching for Eve to desire them just so they could feel like they were a useful tool.
It is a complex relationship that was on and off again. Eve didn't know she was using Purl, thinking that they could just tell her no, and Purl was just following orders but still was able to get something out of the situation (which is how Purl justified it).
To this day, Eve doesn't know she did anything wrong to Purl as Purl has never told her what their mindset was. I have played with scenarios in my head where Purl finally does tell Eve what she did to them, but honestly I don't think any of those scenes would be canon. Purl would be taking that shit to their grave, especially once Haym started dating Eve.
While the relationship between Eve and Purl wasn't a true actual relationship, more like fuck-buddies, they both still depended on each other in an unhealthy and toxic way that did way more harm to the two of them than it did help.
///////////////////////////
And I don't have any other ships in mind to add. I probably could come up with some more, but honestly this is such a long ask already just by answering your examples and adding 2 more of mine.
It was really fun to get to make a big answer again! I tried to get this done in one go but absolutely couldn't. So if it feels disjointed in some sections that's because I had to save and come back to this ask a few times lol :3

Eriverse Rika is like: “I don’t care if the world burns down right now. I care because Yuta wants to protect this world, and if it has any meaning to him, I guess it matters to me now.” (Yup Rika needs some Character Development to learn to like/at least care for others, or she doesn’t because her world kinda revolves around Yuta. And, for Yuta, the world kinda revolves around Rika albeit his caring side extends to the world around them.)
The way you put it is basically exactly how I see Rika being, but it also makes me think about cannon Pearl and Rose Quartz.
Like how Pearl couldn't give two shits about the Earth at all and was mainly caring about it because Rose was caring about it. However, overtime she ends up loving the Earth in her own way and even more so once Rose is no longer with her.
Though, I don't think the same thing would happen for Rika. She cares about what Yuta cares for, but also if Yuta died then she would very much lose the love for the world. Even if she ended up caring about parts of the world without the help of Yuta, I can see his death killing her compassion and love for everything and she will become a menace to the world.
At least, if Yuta dies in a tragic way or way too young. If they can die of like old age or of something that was natural for whatever reason that would give Rika enough time to process some of it and to allow her to talk to Yuta, then I can see her becoming numb but not torching the world down to the ground.
I definitely see Rika as a selfish person. Similar to Carna, Synthia, and Riko. Except that Rika has Yuta as a whole exception (the other three, especially Carna and Synthia will always put themselves first. Riko puts up an act of caring for others, and genuinely does care for others, but also cares for herself so much more than others), where she will absolutely kill herself for Yuta or kill anyone for Yuta if she asked her to do so.
Basically Rika is the meme "If anything happened to Yuta I will kill everyone on this planet and then myself."
Yuta on the other hand has so much love and compassion to give but is also just really socially anxious at times. He cares too much, a similar trait that Yuji has, except that Yuta can make difficult decisions and learns to be the bad guy when needed (and just learns in general how to act tough even though she is really sweet).
She definitely holds Rika in the center of her would, but you are absolutely right that she can also look around Rika and give enough love to everyone around her.
Yuta's love encompasses the whole world, seeing Rika as a major part of it. While Rika on the other hand only sees Yuta as her world and only has love for them.
I don't think Rika is going to learn how to love the world without Yuta in it. The only thing that will stop her from destroying the world once Yuta is gone is the Yuta Entity that Rika created when they were separated as kids.
However, what will stop entity Rika from causing havok? Most likely human Rika herself. The two will share their pain together and possibly entity Rika will fuse with human Rika or will become a part of human Rika in the same way she was part of human Yuta.
That is to say if Yuta ends up dying before Rika. Most likely Rika is going to die first. She's either going to be protecting Yuta or overdoing her fight to the point that even entity Yuta can't save her and she will die (leaving Yuta to go on a rampage that will only be calmed down from either Maki, Toge, or entity Yuta).
The two are supposed to be a really codependent couple similar to how Ruby and Sapphire are with each other being Garnet (yes I am doing a lot of Steven Universe comparisons in this one lol) and I just really love that about them! (Probably why I have Kuroshi and Yamikumo the way they are as well :3)

Wait if Shoko befriends Lars, would it join the Off Colors? And maybe be a space pirate too? (Depending on if gems in the Eriverse do retain their alien features)
No, the Off Colors is Lars' thing, not Shoko's.
Shoko is only going to act as a mentor to Lars, not going to be joining his little gang and everything. Basically it will be there to support Lars whenever he needs it and will always be a line of connection not matter how long it's been.
Think of it as how canon Steven was there. He didn't actually JOIN Lars and the Off Colors as a group member, but did join in some adventures (as Stevonnie but still). Steven is not a member of the Off Colors but is there for them and Lars. That is what Shoko would be (though more there for Lars than the Off Colors but it would still be there for them if needed).
I don't know if I'm keeping the space pirate thing, but the pirate aspect is definitely staying. It has been 1000 years so perhaps there is space travel, but also there were massive corruptions and set backs to the whole world that caused a reversion back for a couple centuries. So perhaps the tech is there FOR space travel, but it being used more for inner planet travel instead (like warp pads and hover crafts would definitely be around, but I don't know if they would be going out into space at this time).
That's mainly because I want to keep the story contained to Earth since I don't want to have to make a whole new couple of worlds just to make Lars' part of the story that relevant. There's plenty of stuff to do in this post apocalyptic magical world that would allow someone like Lars to flourish.
Well... Technically I can do the whole space thing. I do have something related to the Trolls I might incorporate. It was just an idea but if I end up going with it then technically the Trolls' society would act in the same vein as the Diamond Authority as a planet conquering species. But that is an idea I still need to figure out.
As for Shoko, no. It is not joining the Off Colors. It is going to be more like Frieren in the sense of collecting research and stuff (just not really traveling all that much, leaving that to Panda and SP//dr for the most part while it and Purl-hew stay in place and study unless called upon by outside forces).

Shoko and Lars becoming a mentor student relationship.
Shoko being an old immortal who has lived over 1000 years and Lars having gained a very extended life with no idea how to move forward.
It ends up taking him under its wing in order to help him navigate his new very extended life (as well as prepare him for losing a lot of his friends over the centuries he will be alive).

"-The Centuries of War
-The Great Corruption
-The Fall of Humanity
-The Age of Chaos
-The Time of Ascension
-Era 2" ... apocalypse arc?
Oh no humanity is going to be gone... Sukuna... you got your wish. (Era 2 comes from the gems, I assume?)
I'm kinda excited now...
Yes! Apocalypse arc!
Right now I don't have any real story to go on DURING this time, it's more of going to be passing stories told from the future people to explain how the world ended up as it did 1000 years after the events of the timeskip happened (and depending on how the Manga goes, I did have a title called "The Rise" which could be the Rise of the King, ie. Sukuna).
And humanity is not going to be gone, not fully! It will be in little pockets of the world in places LIKE Vinyl City (it won't be called VC anymore, but the location is still probably a beacon of hope for humanity depending on where I want to take the story).
This is actually where the Homestuck humans are going to be. So, kinda a retcon for them. Because I was initially gonna have them during the events after the timeskip but as I got farther into the story of HS I think it would be better for the humans to be in the far future (with still some time shenanigans going on, but not nearly as complex as the canon material as I am not smart in the time shenanigan department lol).
And kinda yes! "Era 2" comes from the "Homeworld" gem side while "The Great Corruption" comes from the "Crystal Gem" side. (Group titles in quotes because they might not be called that here).
"The Age of Chaos" comes from the ponies side of things.
"The Time of Ascension" comes from robots (was debating on calling it the "Great Awakening", but I think that would be pinpointed a bit earlier with 1010 while "The Time of Ascension" would be later with Aurora from Overwatch).
"The Centuries of War" is probably both a human and entity saying (specifically the monster entities). However "The Fall of Humanity" is definitely an entity saying that humans picked up and adopted as their own (even though at first humans rejected this title to deny the truth behind it).
And like I said, there are probably a lot more names I could come up with, and that is just the names for the millennia. There are absolutely different names for different sections of the 1000 years, such as "The Nightmare" or "The Darkest Day" which is when Luna turned into Nightmare Moon but was then banished to the moon itself.
Big events like that definitely have their own names to them (and myths and folklore that get spread over time as well as warped).
Anyway, fun fact! Mahito was created because their were so many humans! An entity that was born of humans which would then help lead to the fall of humanity.
Mana was reborn from that soul, but born in a world with so few humans that he was not born of hate but our of fear and also love for the remainder of humanity. Which is why he is a lot more timid and ready to show love and compassion in his new life compared to what Mahito was like (so starts the cycle of pain that will come from Mahito's soul as it cycles through loving humanity to hating it).

HC that Shoko lies about how it got “ghosted”, especially after its loved ones start dying
“Lab accident.”
“I overworked.”
“This is why you don’t watch too many horror films.”
It got so bad that by the Age of Rebirth, almost no one knows why Shoko became what it is now
Oh absolutely! That is exactly what it does!
What would be even better is that Steven and Luna becoming friends with Shoko, both having heard a different tale from it, but then the two brings Mana (reborn Mahito) to Shoko only for Shoko to freeze at the sight of him and lose its cool persona it has been crafting for centuries at this point!
Perhaps Mana is the only way that any of them would find out the truth about how Shoko got ghostified! But otherwise it just becomes a meme of the wasteland for those who know about the Shoko!

I love/hate the fact that the quote "In every other universe, Gwen Stacy falls for Spider-Man. And in every other universe... it doesn't end well." applies to multiple of the ships in the Eriverse. (Not going to say which but... OOF MY HEART)
But at the same time, "Well... There's a first time for everything, right?" applies too, which is nice.
You know what's funny? I have been trying to avoid using direct multiverse shenanigans because how confusing they can be but also because of how unlikely it seems to be for the Eriverse.
But as I get deeper and deeper into Homestuck, I am thinking more about adding multiverse and time shenanigans to the Eriverse, at least to a subdued aspect. Especially since things like the Hourglass from Steven Universe is a thing!
So honestly, during the Age of Corruption/Centuries of War, most likely a new buildup of magic is going to happen and cause the multiverse (or at least reveal itself through connections of magic).
Anyway, that had little to do with your ask. I do also like both of those quotes! The fact that something can be so intwined with a character that it transcends time and space is so interesting, but also the fact that a character can do something new, an anomaly, and break out of the routine to create a whole new event that spawns it's own multiverse dedicated to that new decision is amazing!
Like there will be a multiverse that hinges on one event or the not happening, and then a whole new multiverse that hinges on the next even or not happening. At least that is the basics.
So there is always going to be a first time for everything but at the same time not, as it will happen in so many other universes now. But relative to the person doing the new action, it is something new and breaking away.
I don't really know what I am talking about now honestly. I was never good at time travel or multiverse stuff. At least not the deeper complexities of it that stuff like Spiderverse, Homestuck, or Undertale have been able to deep dive into.
I do love the sentiment that something or someone is entwined with a character yet they still have the ability to do something new or find someone else (it's probably why I multi ship some characters like Neon J. As I see both Nova and Catherine as entwined with his character, but in the Eriverse timeline it was not meant to be in a romantic sense unlike in other timelines/universes).
Sorry for the rambles and barely answering your ask! But those are really good quotes!

MAHITO? STEVEN?? MLP?????? OH YESSS!!!!! (Wait MLP joins the Eriverse??????)
Well, technically MLP has already been a part of the Eriverse! I just haven't shown the comic for when they became part (MLP just doesn't become a real important part of the story until much later).
Also also, technically that's not Mahito (anymore), that's Mana! Mahito's reincarnation! :D
Kinda taking the reincarnation aspect of curses and combining it with the Gem reforming ability and mushing it into one ability for all entity-kind!
So all (full) entities will eventually respawn. Depending on what they are tho depends on the length of time needed to respawn as well as how much they remember from their past "life."
Gems and Mobs (Minecraft) respawn the fastest and basically recall everything that happens to them, while curses respawn the slowest and do not remember pretty much anything from their past "life" other than the basics, like what their powers are.
Steven is absolutely someone I have been meaning to add into the Eriverse but couldn't find a real good way to do it considering gems are just now being made, so some time needs to pass before Steven is born (because we need Pink Diamond and then Rose Quartz before he even is in the picture), so that is why he's in the far future.
Luna is here because she just returned from banishment (the time is a lot lessened, even for gem timelines because humanity still needs to kinda be in the picture, I'm thinking 200-500 years is a good time period for a skip).
I was actually debating on having the MLP character be Twilight and not Luna because Twilight will rebirth into a princess, however that is more of an upcoming rebirth that will bring problems rather than what I wanted to show which was the rebirth means you have to deal with the sins of the past (so Luna was the choice there!)
But yes! Steven Universe and My Little Pony will be the next major players in the Eriverse! The JJK Curses are still around and so is SOME modern characters (entities like Miku and Yami, Shoko is still around, possible robots like Rodney Ilia Brute and 1010. This part of the AU is HIGHLY experimental and not at all ready to really explore, but I wanted to make this piece because it seemed fun!)

Note
Is there a Tokyo JT and a Kyoto JT in the Eriverse? Or is it just one school since it's new unlike canon JJK?
It's just a single school in the Eriverse which is why there are a lot more interactions between the students than in canon.
Perhaps one day it will split into 2 schools as it gets bigger, but that is FAR in the future and not really important for the story at all (because if I end up doing another jump into the future later on into a whole new generation of medias then it would be Steven Universe's time to shine as the, or one of the, main plot points so Jujutsu Tech won't be as relevant as it is now).

PEARLS!!!!!!!! SO CUTE!!!!!!!! (I especially love Miku pearl’s side ponytail and Hanami pearl’s bangs)
Hanami's Pearl actually has a veil on! Those aren't bangs (though I can absolutely see why you thought that, drawing with pens can be difficult at times lol).
And glad you like Miku's Pearl's side ponytail! When she uses her water wings (because she is a blue Pearl) she also gets a water ponytail so her hairstyle goes from a side ponytail to twin tails like Miku! (while still having the wings from the back)
Miku's Pearl's gem is on the side of her head, Hanami's Pearl's gem is on the left shoulder, Nepeta's Pearl's gem is on the nose, and I don't know where Kitty's Pearl's gem is but it's in a non-visible area when looking at her front (so somewhere on her back, possibly on the back of her head seems like a good spot to me).
