if youre making a comic make sure to be incredibly lazy. extremely minimal backgrounds, copy and paste/reuse your drawings. use lots of clip art

do you think pinkie pie has friendship bracelets for all her friends. she tries to wear them all at once on her hoofs but she has too many. So idk. she hides them in her mane or something in that cartoony way that somehow a character just has everything in their hair. I mean. It feels like something she would do.

i can see it now somepony asks about the friendship bracelets and why she stopped wearing them and she's like " What do you mean? I never stopped!" and pulls the bracelets out of her magic hair dimension with a goofy smile and the other pony is like :0

Strongest to weakest based on physical powers alone (with some exceptions) out of known strong characters in their media that are in the Eriverse (well, Mash might not be Eriverse, but I wanted to put him here because he just solos this whole list):

(And this is like, Eriverse versions of characters. If we went off of like full canon Miguel and Stark would be a lot higher, and Tatiana and Applejack would be lower.

Some are interchangeable like Stark and Yuji, and possibly awakened Maki and Toji if you are looking at Maki right as she awakens instead of after a while).

I understand Ilia being able to see past universes (with his string of fate) but why Ham and Fumihiko? And Luna and Celestia too?

Ham and Fumihiko: It funny

Luna and Celestia: Mainly Luna looking into the clouds of Prospit and Derse. I think Celestia would be able to look into the sun and stars to gain glimpses into other realities, maybe not on Prospit and Derse (as those are dreamscapes) but possibly pass the immediacy of the Collective Conscious of the awakened world into the dark matter and white noise of the multiverse.

Ilia's ability to see other universes would be the strongest of these named characters (I'm debating others having these powers) as he would be able to control where he looks to an extent and is not at the mercy of a joke or the universe for what he sees.

What got you into MLP?

So I watched the first episode, and sort of liked it. And then I watched the second episode out of obligation to the two-parter. There’s a couple things that kept me watching beyond that. First, the voice acting was top-quality, and didn’t have any of the stilted cheesiness that I expected from a “girl’s cartoon.” Second was the youtube comments. Back then, the appeal of ponies was still a pretty big mystery, so with declarations like “I’m still watching this…WHY AM I ENJOYING IT?!?”, it was encouraging to know that I wasn’t alone. And Fluttershy…she needs no explanation. Differential Equations could wait.

One weekend pony marathon later (Green isn’t your Color aired during that time), I decided to dive into unraveling the Brony mystery. Honestly, the whole thing fascinated me. I crawled through TV Tropes. I watched ponified trailers and PMVs. I checked out some of the music. I found EqD. And then I told my mom about it.

Now, don’t worry, my mom’s super cool about this stuff. At that time, I was more interested in the culture than the show itself, and did my best to explain why both were fascinating to me. At that time, I often said, “I could easily write a sociology essay on Bronies.”

So, I hope that answers your question. I got interested in ponies through pure curiosity. Frankly, I think that’s the best way to get into anything. I didn’t actually start drawing ponies until the first EqD New Artist Training Ground event that summer. It’ll cost you another question if you want to know the details of that.

MLP Season 4 Challenge: Day 1

Favourite Mane Six: Fluttershy

Fluttershy has been my favourite pony right from the start, and I don't see that ever changing. I've talked a lot before about how much I relate to her and find her to be one of the best-written "shy characters" on TV: her shyness and social anxiety isn't just a cute quirk, or something overcome in one episode. It's a genuine problem that affects her life, makes everyday situations more difficult and that she has to fight to overcome, just like so many of us. But just because it feels like a constant struggle, a lot of the time, doesn't mean things can't get better and be slowly improving all the time, as I think Filli Vanill this season - one of my favourite episodes ever - is a great example of. Fluttershy loves to sing (and is ridiculously freaking adorable in the process), but she struggles with stage fright and is terrified by the prospect of actually doing it in front of an audience. But by the end of the episode, even though she's not ready to become a full-time Ponytone, she still chooses to sing with them once - as herself, in front of an audience. That may not seem like that much, but, over the events of the ep, she's gained just that tiny little bit more confidence in herself, her singing and doing what she loves regardless of what others think. She's come a long, long way from when she was too scared to even introduce herself to Twilight - and she shows us that we can, too.

What makes Fluttershy such a great character, for me, is how much her kindness and compassion gives her strength, though she may not realise it. She genuinely believes that sometimes we all just need to be shown a little kindness - even those who doesn't appear to deserve it - and through that, she's often able to succeed in bringing out the best in others in a way nopony else can. But this season, in It Ain't Easy Being Breezies, she also realises sometimes you have to be "cruel to be kind": she has to tell the Breezies to leave, even when they don't want to, because they need to get home - and her kindness is actively preventing that from happening. It's incredibly tough for her to say, but in the end, she does what she has to for the Breezies' own good.

And when it comes to her friends, she'd do anything for them - which can have its downsides, as it occasionally leads to her getting peer-pressured into doing things against her will and, y'know, becoming the world's most adorable vampire bat for a while. But mostly, it means she's always there for anypony who needs her, always gentle and understanding - and yet also a stone-cold badass capable of amazing things when her friends are in trouble. Power Ponies might've given us canon Flutterhulk, but the truth is Fluttershy doesn't need gamma radiation, magic or whatever - it's been in her all along. She's growing stronger all the time, without losing who she is, as season four showed - and that's how Equestria was made why she's my fave and always will be. <3
