Art for the first chapter of the emperor and the little street urchin by scheinen (＾ω＾)人(＾ω＾) ✨

Summary: Ajax, fighting for survival on the streets of a foreign country, is wrongfully arrested for trying to steal the Emperor Morax's gnosis. He resigns himself to execution, but to his surprise, the enigmatic Morax takes him into his care instead.

—— That is how an old lady named Ping finds him — curled up in garbage, hideous and rank, fatigued from running away from his pursuers, deliriously fighting a fever. He never understood why she pitied him — but she was kind. The first kind soul he meets in Liyue — perhaps even the first kind soul he has ever met in his life outside his family.

—— The emperor must have had some sort of medical training, because he knows what he is doing. He secures Ajax’s broken forearm firmly with a splint, and starts wrapping bandages over it. The slight movements jostle the fracture, but Ajax is so used to pain it does not bother him in the least. The emperor’s hands are warm and reassuring, his fingers long and deft.

About AU Chaos Terran Sideways

Sideways was the second Chaos Terran to be born. In S02E04, Fairmaestro didn't lose the shard while falling, meaning that Cosmos unknowingly dunked him into the water tank with the shard still on him.

Amid the chaos of the water exploding and a new Chaos Terran emerging out of it and Fairmaestro escaping and the Maltos trying to explain the whole situation - Swindle, who has been waiting to steal the shard, managed to escape with the new Terrans using tools he stole from Fairmaestro amid the previous chaos.

Sideways would bring a lot of changes to the story. He is a very skeptical person and doesn't trust anyone - Starscream, the Decepticons, his dumb brother Aftermath, or the boring Maltos - but he doesn't mind pretending to fit their expectations. He was very bothered by the fact that his life is tied to a chaos embershard - something that both the Decepticons and Autobots wanted. He decided to not scan an alt mode before figuring out what he is, feeling safer with his shard hidden, not exposed like Aftermath's.

I'm thinking about making him present in S02E05 and he would be the one to suggest stealing ALL the cave water. (Not to make Aftermath innocent tho - he would happily agree to the idea and think it's a good prank.) Sideways would later show up at the Maltos and supply them with cave water, pretending to be Aftermath's cowardly yet empathetic lackey and earning their trust. Probably would say things like "I don't like what they do... but they are my ✨family✨."

Spitfire's birth and her bodyswap with Twitch and the information she got from the Maltos gave Sideways great progress on his research. He realized a way to escape the terrible fate linked to chaos embershards - to swap body with Thrash. He purposefully scanned the same alt mode.

His alt mode wouldn't have a sidecar because he really isn't a family person. The psychic link disturbed him a lot. The only sibling that he had some appreciation for was Spitfire but the appreciation would die out as he grew more worried about his own fate. Eventually he would stop sharing information with her and try to escape on his own.

Thoughts on his future

I'm thinking that he would try to bodyswap with Thrash but the plan would fail due to the other Maltos interfering, which caused his own death. The reason he grew so worried about his fate and wanted to get rid of the shard so badly was due to discovering chaos energy's connection to Unicron.

Unfortunately, Sideways would be revived by Unicron and forced to work for him, eventually becoming the very well-known dimension hopper Sideways in Armada/TFA/Bayverse/etc. He would eventually come back with the Quintessons in S3. (So in this AU the Chaos Terrans are literally Unicron's spawn lol. I'm thinking about making Sideways and Tarantulas coworkers, though the Tarantulas may not be ES Tarantulas.)

Fingers crossed hoping Circe will appear in Hades 2 too 🤞She would definitely fit the whole witchcraft/enchantress theme/vibe that the game has going for it so far (and has also turned people,specifically men, into animals, mostly pigs which Hecate and you can do) so i think Melinoe would prolly get off scotch free while unveiling info about her connection with Ody. BUT ALSO it would be really cool to have her as an opponent since she can conjure monsters or maybe even build up to a fight against Scylla since she was the cause of that.

Decided to sit down and at the very least cut out the foam pieces I needed to start sculpting the dolls bodies but two things happened that we’re predicted. The first being that the measurements I had started with are weird. They don’t translate well to 3d. Figured that out when I glued the pieces together. The second being that subtractive sculpting foam isn’t gonna work the way I want it to and that additive sculpting is going to be easier. Figured this out when I started carving because an xacto isn’t exactly the best carving tool but it’s the only one I’ve got so. I’m also not a fan of the huge mess it made.

Like, what the hell do you even mean by saying 'oh, well I thought even though I was stealing this other person's work and putting it into a machine that is literally designed to both steal and replicate the work of others without the OG writer's permission would be ok because I didn't publish my results online'???

As if having asked the author to begin with would have made shit better seeing as you couldn't be bothered to respect their art to begin with anyways.

All in all, please be respectful to both writers and artists and stay the hell away from Chatgpt and all the other crap like it; no amount of curiosity or boredom is worth the suffering and pain they have caused, and I for one, think we should be able to do better but than again that's just me...

oh I wasn’t aware it was feeding the ai. I’ve inserted hundreds of fics into chatgpt for their continuation or for a different plot within the same context just for fun and out of curiosity… but I’ve never posted any of them…

Indeed, anything that is given to AI it can use later to draw from. That's why it doesn't matter if you post them or not as it has now access to those writers' texts without their permission.

Why you shouldn’t support the upcoming game Black Myth: Wukong

Simply put, the creators behind Black Myth: Wukong are raging misogynists.

Founders and creatives of the studio have:

Joked about former female employees hypothetically doing prostitution

Used suggestive/objectifying/derogatory imagery & phrasing in their hiring flyers (under the cut), e.g. “In addition to hookup buddies, we promise to provide more thoughtful services” , “fatties fuck off”, etc.

Written entire think pieces on how video games don’t need female players or developers, how women are biologically inclined towards “softer” modes of gaming than men (there’s also a bit of homophobia mixed in through language such as “fuck sissies”), how some things should just be made for men, etc. “Fuck sissies, fuck tragic love stories, fuck moon-lit peach blossoms and flute-playing scholars! You don't need the reverse motivation of female players, you don't need to take care of those worms who just want to date chicks. Some things are just for men, their depression, their anger, their pain...”

Made numerous sexually explicit (& honestly incel-like) comments including ones about a female character in Black Myth: Wukong, e.g. “once you get used to this [character design] you can jerk off to it”, etc.

Boasted about how they’re losing followers, who must be women

To no one’s surprise, when people criticise the studio online, they’re met with vitriol about how they’re hypersensitive feminists, too politically correct, etc.

Chinese women have been YELLING non-stop on social media about how bad it is so it’s pretty depressing to see that a lot of non-Chinese gamers, even after reading an IGN article covering the situation, are apathetic. I get that a lot of people are excited about the novelty of a soulslike game based on Chinese mythology, but do you really want to support a studio that actively contributes towards and benefits from misogynistic gaming culture?

Talking about separating the artist from their art is bullshit if you're financially supporting them. Boycott! Pirate!
