i feel like not enough ppl are factoring in the cultural clash between laios and shuro and the many micro agressions shuro faced while being in their group. literally the name 'shuro' in itself is one
Tumblr media
his name is toshiro 😭 lets also not forget that he has his own communication issues, in the opposite way that laios does- thats literally a factor in their argument, that his envy for laios's ability to express himself sincerely manifested as part of his distaste for him.
ig all this to say like, was their fight heart wrenching, especially when reading laios as autistic? absolutely. anybody whos ever been in laios's position knows how much it hurts to realize someone you thought was your friend doesnt actually like having you around, especially when they didnt tell you and you had no way of knowing due to not understanding their cues. but im begging yall to step back and see the nuance of this situation cause im gonna be real a lot of you are kinda just brushing over it acting like everything is toshiros fault and that hes a terrible person when in reality hes an average guy who really, really clashed with laios and it led to a very long misunderstanding due to their supremely opposite methods of communication. even laios and toshiro, after letting everything out in their fight, were able to come to an understanding and start a foundation for an actual friendship built on better communication
ok yknow what Edit: i shouldve made it even more explicit at the end of this post, i hadnt thought i would need to since i started the post with this, but i think a few too many people are missing my point so i just wanna clarify. i shouldnt have said 'really clashed' and left it at that because yeah they did, but it wasnt just their opposite methods of communication, it is also very much that toshiro was experiencing microaggressions via laios. it may have been unintentional on laios's part, but it still happened and wore him down, made it harder for him to communicate on top of both the more subtle social cues that he was raised with and his own communication difficulties. i also want to say that the fandom reaction to toshiro and the complete ignorance of this point is also racist tbh or at the very least ignorant. i understand that the anime did not cover this panel, and neither did the manga, as this was an omake, but im gonna be real with you guys. there are enough context clues within the story to clue you into this. if you didnt pick up on it thats ok, but i think this is a good lesson in picking up subtext in the stories that youre watching and/or reading. kui shouldnt have to explicitly say 'by the way laios was racist to toshiro' for this point to be understood, and at the very least, when the author portrays a character in a sympathetic light (as kui clearly does) it should make you question Why they are doing so and what makes them sympathetic, rather than youre immediate and only reaction to be 'well i hated what this guy did/said so i hate them and they suck'. idk exactly how to finish this, just. idk. question your biases and gut reactions to things you see in media and stories, and think about whether or not theres subtext that youre missing.

Seamless Protection: Exploring the Polyurea Coatings Market
The size of the polyurea coatings market was USD 995.2 million in the recent past, and it will power at a rate of 11% and reach a value of USD 2,553.5 million by 2030, according to P&S Intelligence.
Tumblr media
The automotive and transportation sector had the second-largest share, of about 26%. Polyurea coatings are used on the exteriors of vehicles, such as two-wheelers and trucks. They are usually seen on the chassis, driveshafts, gearboxes, and engines, as they provide good resistance to the exterior thermal and physical pressure.

Consequently, polyurea coatings are becoming popular among automakers. China, Germany and Japan are the top three passenger vehicle producers. Consequently, polyurea coatings’ applications have advanced greatly in these countries. Volkswagen, Mercedes, Audi, Porsche, Opel, and BMW are all part of Germany's extremely competitive automobile industry. This industry generates about USD 468.5 billion, which accounts to about 20% of the total revenue of the German industry. Aromatic isocyanates are formulated with the use of benzene and toluene as raw materials. Methylenediphenyl disocyanate and Toulenedisocyanate are two of the most-common aromatic isocyanates used in the construction industry. The weather of Europe and North America is favorable for the use of aromatic polyurea coatings, which are less expensive than aliphatic substitutions. Aromatic isocyanates are used as a basecoat, meaning they are the first layer applied to any surface. Consequently, they are widely used in vehicles, that is the reason aromatic polyurea coatings market size will grow rapidly. The requirement for polyurea coating will surge in the APAC with a rate of 11.9% in the years to come. The high-pace monetary growth and substantial investment by private and government companies in numerous sectors, such as maritime, manufacturing, automotive, and construction, are driving the regional demand for industrial coatings. It is because of the increasing ecological concerns and requirement for sustainable expansion, polyurea coatings had a major place in the coatings sector, garnering high investment in R&D.

Been thinking about an old ghoul who works as a volunteer teacher in the NCR. He'd teach the only class available on ghoul physiology and be disappointed it's not mandatory for all recruits. He'd also serve as a supportive figure for the young greenhorns who have no one else to turn to.

not to over think it, but thematically I think Were-Vasco would be his most societally unacceptable but authentic self. So maybe he is successful in aiding Machete but is more violent in doing so
He just becomes an anarchist.

Neil is there to protect the one who protects them all.
Andrew always knew how to protect. He sure has his own ways that many fail to understand but the bottom line stays the same.
With Neil coming into his life he gets to be something else than just the protector - which I want to talk about here.
The exy obsessed junkie who claims to only care about his own survival is the first one who sees beyond Andrews play - who sees that Andrew doesn’t take care of himself at all. Too busy keeping an eye on everyone to care about what happens to his own self. And Neil hates it furiously.
So Neil puts Andrew first.
Starting with his health. Exy is important to Neil but he knows Andrew needs to get off the drugs first. The foxes found it easier to deal with Andrew while he’s on drugs, so they didn’t put much effort into changing that - Neil though. Neil saw what the drugs did to Andrew. So they had to get rid off it as fast as possible.
So he makes a deal. He gives up a piece of a truth, gives a promise and makes him go take care of himself.
He punches Riko because he couldn’t stop himself.
He agrees to go to Evermore - he agrees to torture just to keep Andrew save.
Afterwards he refuses to back down his care after being explicitly told to. “If it means loosing you then no”.
After being brutally tortured, one of the first things he does is inspecting Andrews bruises. Inspecting Andrews bruises the same way Andrew inspects his. “All that time fighting and you never learned how to duck?”
He told the cops off when they indicated getting Andrew off him “you’ll what, asshole?”
He was there in a heartbeat the second Andrew got pushed in the final game. And only backed off after checking Andrew was really alright.
For the first time Andrew has someone who has his back the same way he had the backs of everyone else for years. Andrew is fiercely protective and for the first time he is fiercely protected too.
“You are a pipe dream.”

Ghoul kits are rarely born on the surface.
It’s just not ideal for kits to develop away from the infernal energies of the pits, and usually it leads to the parents being very protective.
So when Mountain is restlessly walking through the woods one night, he’s not entirely sure that he hears that little cry in the distance…
He finds a kit, around the size of a human toddler, maybe a little smaller. And absolutely no trace of the pit on them.
The little kit is dithering in the cold and curled up on his side.
Mountain’s heart aches as he rips off his own shirt to wrap around the tiny Ghoul.
As Mountain lifts the kit, cradling him against his chest, his soul bursts with the overwhelming need to care for the little life.
And maybe, he raises the little Ghoul by his own hand, keeping him as much a secret as he could. Earth Ghouls are very territorial and protective after all, add in the protectiveness for a kit away from Hell. And Mountain knows that if the kit’s birth parents ever tried to reclaim him, he would go APESHIT.
And maybe that Ghoul grows up to be Phantom.
So when Aether announces his retirement and Papa talks about needing a new Quint, Mountain goes against his want to keep his kit (albeit now a fully grown adult) all to himself,
“My kit knows how to play.”
I might turn this into a lil fic. Poll here if you’re interested!!

“When toxic behavior is portrayed as romantic, it’s problematic. When problematic behavior is portrayed as a character flaw for a character to work through, it’s good storytelling.”
Katsuki Bakugou, my friends.
His behavior was problematic but never once portrayed as romantic at the same time. Katsuki said and did awful abusive things, and he also chose to be better when he was given the chance. If you’re still hung up on chapter 1 Katsuki now then I don’t think you’ve been reading the same story I have.
I can’t speak for everyone, but I’m not shipping Izuku with an irredeemable abuser. I’m shipping him with his most important person. His narrative foil. His childhood friend who made awful mistakes and then made it right when he saw he was wrong. The person Izuku looks up to and strives to emulate, despite their past struggles.
Bakudeku is so good because of how flawed these boys are, and how hard they’ve worked to get over it, and how much they matter to each other after it all
