Glenn experienced twenty years over the course of three days. If my maths is right, that means that as one day passes inside the cell, only about thirty seconds passes outside the cell. If he's getting fed twice daily, that's about once every fifteen seconds that someone needs to check on him.

I couldn't stop thinking about how easy it would be for a mistake to be made, and how it would only take minutes of being ignored or forgotten about for things to get very, very bad for Glenn, and I ended up writing a fic about it.

If I want to come to experience the maximum level of security, essentially be treated as the worst of the worst, what will my day like?

Maximum security is NOT exactly exciting! Maximum security is designed to keep you locked up. That means you spend most of your time locked in a cell.

Be certain to very clearly ask for supermax when you apply!

You eat all 3 meals in your cell.

You wear a uniform with no zippers or metal parts.

You are allowed out of your cell 2 hours a day and have minimal contact with guards or other convicts.

You are restrained any time you are out of your cell.

You are always escorted by a guard.

You are a piece of shit and you are treated as such!
