Rehabilitation after sub-acromial decompression

This is a generalized protocol and may need modifications. We recommended you perform these exercises under the supervision of your physiotherapist and also stick to your surgeon’s advice.

Phase 1: (1-3 weeks) Goals

Restore non-painful range of motion (ROM)

Retard muscular atrophy

Decrease pain/inflammation

Improve postural awareness

Minimize stress to healing structures

Independent with activities of daily living (ADLs)

Prevent muscular inhibition

Wean off sling

Precautions:

Care should be taken with abduction (with both active range of motion (AROM) and passive range of motion (PROM) to avoid unnecessary compression of subacromial structures

Creating or reinforcing poor movement patterns, such as excessive scapulothoracic motion with upper extremity elevation, should be avoided.

John Denver's Greatest Hits John Denver Released November 1973 I was just wondering, is folk music gone?  Are there any current famous musical acts that still do folk music?  If there is, I'm pretty sure they are influenced by John Denver.  For many of us in my generation, John Denver music reminds us of days in school when they had music teachers singing and playing on the guitar.  This was my early introduction to music.  Since then, his music has always been played on radio or television.  A few years ago, a few country music artists got together and covered "Take Me Home Country Roads", of course it was a beautiful tribute.  Still hearing the original song on vinyl really brings me back. when jess said to rory that since she was his, he didn’t have to do anything to please her anymore was so problematic, if I wasn’t sure that rory was just a prize he was fighting dean for, when he said that I definitely was. or the fact that he only agreed to go meet her grandparents when she gave the book she was still reading to him then called her manipulative. I’m worried for the women/girls who think he’s the ideal boyfriend, guys like jess are worse in real life.

I know! I can't believe rory wouldn't react more about him being like "yeah I don't care about doing things you like now I won you" she should have called him up on it. pretty much the only times he acts like a good boyfriend to her and does what she wants is when there's something in it for him :/ it's definitely not the kind of relationship behaviour that people should be idolizing or looking for in a real boyfriend
