Oh I watch videos of cheetah chirping and then I try imitating them by whistling! It's a short descending whistle. To make it a bit more realistic I start with a "T" sound which gives it impulse! If you have trouble controlling your pitch when whistling, try to find a lower pitched chirp then imitate only the highest note. Once you get that try using it as your anchor then make a descending sound. Then faster!

I can't do the super high pitched ones because I can only whistle the regular way, but I'm sure that once I learn to do the strong whistles (similar to whistling with your fingers, but no fingers really just tongue), I might be able to imitate higher pitched ones, or at least produce a stronger sound as regular whistling is weaker. Plus my mouth won't close into an U shape. My goal is to learn to do the whistle and a similar mouth movement at once, if that's even possible! Or at least create the illusion that I am.

Also since cheetah chirps are very much communicative, check out the whistled language of la Gomera! It's a small island in which people communicate across mountains by whistling in different tunes. Just a curiosity and perhaps a way to see how many different sounds can be produced by humans as well! They need the whistle strength to be able to communicate in relatively large distances.
