Mojave Outpost 10/22/81

The NCR isn't all bad, but they sound like the spitting image of the slow and useless prewar governments. I found a couple of 'contracts' up at the Mojave Outpost (I kind of like that stupid statue). Mostly clearing the roads for caravans and traders, but I came face to face with the legion for the first time at Nipton.

Over the last couple of years, I'd heard bits about the legion and how cruel they were, but the crucifixes and the fires... what sickos.

Spent the night at the barracks last night. It's a bit more comfortable than sleeping under the open sky but seems there are still good people around just trying to get by. I'll continue on to Novac tomorrow, and snipe any Legionnares I come across before they become a problem.

the attention to detail in this show is so fucking insane.

like, the aid items of course with the cram, purified water, iguana on a stick, stimpaks! FALLOUT 3 YUM YUM DEVILED EGGS!! and even sunset sarsparilla because we are in the west!!!

the ceramic/dishes matching those in game along with the mannequins and other tchotchkes. Ma June's store is a real I Spy page out of one of those books!

and the outside of the Westside Medical Center in the beginning of episode four with its green minecraft ass blocky Medical plus and just the green logo that places like Medtek Research have in game

and i haven't even gotten to the vaults with their paintings and decor that seem to exactly match the ones in game. the detail on the doc's clothes and the power armor and just ugh so so much more.

ALSO THE 10MM AND JUNK JET LOOK SO GOOD? ABD WHAT FUCKING AMMO IS THE GHOUL RUNNING LIKE????

pre war food items in f3/nv are irradiated, but freshly made food and drink is not. sunset sarsparilla is notably a pre war drink, but lacks radiation. ergo, someone has been putting all those bottles in those containers after the bombs

I got a few people in the notes asking if he does this with Sunset Sarsparilla, and while the wiki doesn't say, I tested it in my game and he does drink it too! He seems to generally drink the Nuka Cola more often however (he drank 3 Nuka Colas before he drank 1 Sunset Sarsparilla...so ig you can say he prefers the Nuka Cola)

One of the best details I learned about Arcade. My man enjoys his sodey pops
