Heyy, remember these cosplays I made for Halloween 2022? We took them to a convention over the weekend and had the privilege to meet Kellen Goff! It was a blast :D

I tweaked a few minor details, and I finally got to take better pictures to showcase my work! We're no experienced cosplayers or photographers, but I really like these anyway.

yes, also in my absence on the internet I made a rotating mask of Sundrop to go see the fnaf movie.

At the beginning I was going to make it as similar as possible to the game, but I didn't like the way it was turning out, so I ended up making it as similar as possible to the sundrop I drew.

This is how it turned out, at first I didn't know how to make the mask rotate, besides I didn't have that rotating thing from the tutorials so I had to use a stick XD

Cosplayed as sun for the fnaf movie! Gonna post the process below :)

Cutting cardboard sucks shit.

Then it was mapping out the face and trying to mould it with news paper and masking tape (trust the process)

So much fucking MACHE

I had a rough time figuring out the eyes but then came paint and teeth

He was gonna spin but he was too strong too powerful so the rays were just painted and attached

The eyes we’re attached on the day of so I don’t have a progress shot besides the car trip to the cinema.

There’s a picture limit on fucking mobile so I can’t go into more details or show the pants so I’ll just use words :(

The pants were made by a friend of mine that didn’t dress up and honestly it was pretty last minute for them. I had to paint suns yellow stripes and it kinda looks bad so I leaned into it and decided to make him mud stained to lean into the scary I guess. The pants were meant to have elastic like moon but we ran out of time and we used suspenders to replace the frills. We also COMPLETELY forgot the ribbons. Sun was meant to have a bow :( we were running late. It ain’t a cosplay without everything going wrong.

I also made the moon mask as well as painted the star pants. I was working for ten hours the day of AND MY ELECTRICITY WAS OUT ALL DAY SO MY DRYING METHOD WAS THE FUCKING SUN I WAS STRESSING.

Anyways it all turned out good! It was a lot of fun and I might do a few more cosplays or wear this one to a con in June. I do also wanna say a thanks to @adorablemew for dealing with me never shutting the FUCK up about this damn thing and for dealing with me over the last month. Cosplay really is fun when you let it be. Anyways that’s all ig.

So… I went to the Renaissance Faire in my Area Friday and Saturday. Yesterday was just too hot (90 degrees) to Fursuit in Skuttles my Pirate SeaDog… So instead I wore Sun!

To say the least. I did not expect the sort of reaction I got— I even met a Sun and Moon Show fan there! haha Also I may have created a cult—

And we won best in show!!

We both wanted to be taller so I got 6 inch platforms but he REALLY committed and got stilts

I'm thinking of doodling what we did in cosplay later idk

I went to see the FNAF movie disguised as Sundrop!

(don't worry this is a safe place, I won't give spoilers for the film)

when I left my house with the costume I felt nervous, I was a little unsure if I would be the only one in costume, but I relaxed and felt very excited to get to the cinema and see people in costume too, unfortunately I could not take many pictures with my phone, since I had no one to help me take them, but I had the opportunity to enjoy talking a little with others and take pictures with them, I enjoyed the movie a lot the excitement of reacting to the movie with more people who like it made me feel very happy!

we screamed so much during the movie that my throat hurts XD
