Let me tell you something

For as long as I can remember,

I've been an artist.

A writer.

A creator.

And I've always, always wanted to share it with the world.

So I did.

With this little account of mine, I've taken requests and written things and brought people's fantasies into the real world, albeit just on a screen.

And that makes me happy. Really happy.

Omg you guys, this reblog reminded me of something I had the BEST asthma and allergy specialist EVER, he was great, and because of him, I got to go to Comic Con for the first time ever :) I've been seeing him for 4 years, but last year (literally on the day my dog got ran over :() I got a letter confirming that he'd be moving and I wouldn't be seeing him anymore :( It sucked, but before that I had one last appointment with him, and he did warn me that he was considering moving He gave me a plushie of Max from the Grinch (who's name I forgot, so I named him "Freakazoid the Freaky Deaky the 3rd") Along with that, I brought my folder of art, and now one of those Meri drawings (the headshot I think) is with him :) It was just a sweet memory that popped up in my head :) It makes me happy to think about :)

2024 has been an odd yet incredible year.

I lost my best friends at the beginning of the year then got them back a couple weeks ago, I started my writing journey on here, I met my new best friend, and so many other things.

I've changed, I've grown, I've progressed.

I'm proud of myself.

And I hope you're proud of yourself, too.

I hope you entered and are leaving this year as a version of yourself that you can be proud of.

Here's to all of the memories, friends made and lost along the way, and the things I'll never forget.

this is really random, but i think my best memories are rooted in fanfiction

staying up late on a school night, reading wattpad fics and tumblr headcanons of my latest fictional crush

and that late night adrenaline kicks in, and everything in the story makes me giggle and kick my feet and im just so happy

and going to school the next day, giggling to all of my friends about it and quoting it and feeling so happy and giddy on the inside for some reason

just knowing that what ive written may have given somebody else that experience

it feels good

and it makes me feel the way all of those old fics used to make me feel

and i think that's the reason i started writing on here in the first place

to all those stupid memories that shaped this little dude on a big ole floating rock in space with a dream too big to fit the whole multiverse and a passion for writing

and all those late nights reading silly fanfictions about sans and mettaton and whatnot

and to all those writers who gave me those memories

Dr. Simon Glass Platonic Cuddling Headcanons

• Life at the SCP Foundation is hard.

• Anybody who's been there for at least an hour knows that.

• Dr. Glass was like a ray of sunshine in the place, and he picked up on other people's emotions very easily.

• So, when you'd been having a particularly rough day, he easily caught onto it.

• And it didn't take him long to address it either.

• "Are you okay? You look... down. Everything alright?"

• Maybe you said, "no..."

• Maybe you let it out and immediately began venting about your day.

• Or maybe you just silently shook your head.

• Either way, Simon, being your best friend, knew exactly how to fix that!

• Cuddling!

• Simon is like a teddy bear.

• Obviously a bit thinner than your conventional teddy bear, but a teddy bear nonetheless.

• Gears is notorious for being expressionless to the highest degree, so when you were the only person he'd give a half-smile to, rumors started.

• And those rumors were correct: Dr. Gears had a thing for you.

• Of course, the man himself confessed to you before word got around to your ears.

• It was blunt - short and sweet.

• "I have an interest in you. Would you be interested in beginning a relationship with me?"

• Perhaps a rose as well! A small token of his affection (｡•̀ᴗ-)

• During the relationship, there was a bit of a change in his behavior, both towards you and his coworkers.

• He didn't seem as uptight, but of course, he still was. Just not as much.

• Even his reactions were finally slightly noticable!

For some reason I have a soft spot for recovering Curly and him interacting with the others.

What about a Christmas celebration at Swansea's household? Including Anya, Daisuke AND Curly who was discharged from hospital. I imagine him without face reconstruction at this point, but you can change it if you have your own better ending AU. I also would like to see him as an electrolarynx user.

"You know," Daisuke said, popping a Hershey kiss into his mouth, "it has been a while since we've all been together, hasn't it?" "Yeah, it has." Anya chuckled softly as she wheeled Curly through the door and into the house. "It's been a while... But, it's nice to get to see everyone again." "Oh, hello!" A soft, feminine voice spoke up, and a sweet elderly lady waved to them from her spot on the couch. (SWANSEA'S WIFE MENTIONED?!?!?!?!!)

"Hi, Mrs. Hotard." Anya smiled and waved, as did Daisuke. (The wiki says that fan speculation says that Swansea's last name might be Harold or Hotard, so I picked Hotard :))

"Hello, dear." The sweet old woman smiled in return. "Swansea will be in here soon, he's just fetching some firewood. It's rather chilly in here, isn't it?" "It is." Daisuke chuckled before turning to Curly and offering him a piece of chocolate. "Hey, man, you want one?" Curly raised his electrolarynx to this throat and said, "No, but thank you."

In response, Daisuke simply turned to offer one to Anya who promptly shook her head after shutting the door behind herself. "Man, suit yourself." He shrugged his shoulders. After that, he turned to Mrs. Hotard and immediately switched to the soft-spoken, respectful youth persona, as all Asian kids do (I personally think he's Filipino-Korean).

"Mrs. Hotard, would you like one?" He asked in that tone he rarely used.

"Oh, yes, please." The woman nodded, taking one. "Thank you, dear. I see why my husband spoke so fondly of you upon his return!"

"Wait, he did?" Daisuke asked, getting a nod in return. He pumped his fist in the air. "Yes!"

At that, she laughed. "Thank you so much for inviting us, Mrs. Hotard." Anya smiled, standing behind Curly's wheelchair. "Of course. You're always welcome here." She smiled. "It was Swansea's idea, after all. He's very fond of you all!"

Just then, in came the big guy.

Swansea!

"Oh, hey, y'all." He nodded, his arms carrying a few small logs that he promptly placed into the fireplace.

"Hey, boss!" Daisuke smiled.

"Hi." Anya greeted him.

"Hey, Anya. Hey, Daisuke. You don't have to call me 'boss' anymore, y'know."

"Yeah, I know." He chuckled. "But it feels familiar."

"Yeah, I guess." Swansea shrugged his shoulders before turning to Curly. "Hey, cap. You sure look a lot better. Makin' progress, I take it?" "Yes. I think I'm doing well." Curly replied, giving as best a smile as he could.

"Well, that's good to hear." Swansea gave him a smile. "It's good seein' you all again."

"Yeah, it's great!" Daisuke smiled brightly. "Mhm... It's really nice. I've missed you guys." Anya added.

"Well, have a seat. I'd love to know what you've all been up to." Swansea prompted, taking a seat next to his wife as Anya and Daisuke sat down as well. "Well... I'm in med school." Anya smiled softly, obviously proud of herself. "While I do that, I've been doing a lot of volunteering..."

"That's good to hear." Swansea smiled. "Proud of you. I know how much you wanted to go back to school." "I can definitely admire a woman with ambition." Mrs. Hotard smiled. "Med school isn't easy from what I heard, and neither is the work that comes after."

"Yeah... But, I don't mind it." Anya spoke with a soft grin. "I've always wanted to be a doctor. I'm really excited."

"That's great to hear." Mrs. Hotard smiled.

"So, what about you, huh, Daisuke?" Swansea asked.

"Oh! Well, ever since we got back, I've been spending a lot of time with my family." He replied before chuckling. "My mom got so scared that she's hesitant to let me do much else, but I'm trying to get a job at an auto repair place until I figure out what I wanna do with myself."

"That's... understandable, actually." Swansea nodded. "Take your time, it's not like a mob's gonna come at ya with pitches and forks for not knowing yet."

"Yeah." Daisuke laughed. "I'm definitely putting some thought into it." "Well, what about you, Curly?" Swansea asked, now directing his gaze to the ex-captain. "I take it you've been spending a lot of time in recovery, huh?" "Yeah, exactly that." Curly said with his electrolarynx to his throat, letting out a scratchy chuckle. "Bunch of surgeries, a bit of physical therapy, even some psych evaluations."

"That's not a surprise. That fucked all of us up a bit, huh?" Swansea spoke, and they all silently nodded.

"But, that doesn't matter anymore." He continued. "What matters is that we all got back, and we're fine. Life goes on, doesn't it?" "Yeah, I guess it does." Anya nodded.

"Well," Swansea spoke, standing up now, "the kids are coming soon. I'm sure they'll like y'all."

"I'm gonna put the oven on. I gotta do a bit of cookin' real quick." He said, going into the kitchen. "Daisuke, you wanna help?" "You bet!" The young man shot out of his seat, running over to the side of the older man, and Anya chuckled.

"It's wonderful to finally meet you, Mrs. Hotard." She smiled. "It's wonderful to meet you too, dear. I've heard a lot of great things about you." The older woman smiled. "Very impressive of you, keeping this man with you alive with a first aid kit." She said, gesturing to Curly. "You're going to make a great doctor." "Thank you." Anya smiled, blushing from the compliment. "I appreciate it."

"Of course." Mrs. Hotard smiled. "And Merry Christmas."

"Merry Christmas to you, too." Anya smiled, and then the doorbell rang, most likely being Swansea's kids. "I'll get it!" Daisuke exclaimed, rushing over and opening the door, greeting them with a beaming smile.

"Hey! Merry Christmas!"

"Uugghhh..." Y/N groaned, falling back onto their bed, holding their sketchbook and pencil in the air. For almost a month now, they would sit down with snacks and their art supplies, ready to draw, but the moment they picked up their pencil...

Nothing.

Their brain came up with nothing.

No matter how hard they tried, they couldn't think of a single thing they wanted to or felt like drawing. Either that, or they got side-tracked. "Curse you, art block..." They groaned, letting their arms flop down beside them.

"Art block?" Sammy spoke up, having just then walked into their room. It was one of those rare occasions when Joey let him actually leave the studio instead of staying in the Artists' Rest, which was a good thing because he hardly got any sleep in there anyways, and it gave him more time with his darling.

"Goodness, it's a horrible thing." Sammy winced, recalling his own episodes of experiencing art block. When you do creative work for a living, art block is the last thing you want to experience, and Sammy had his fair share of scuffs with the involuntary lack of creativity.

"Yeah... Got it right now." Y/N sighed, sitting up now as their legs dangled off of the edge of their bed. "That was rather apparent." Sammy chuckled, making his observation clear.

"I just... Ugh! I wanna draw something, but I can't think of anything at all!" They exclaimed, the frustration clear in their voice.

"I'm sure you just need to give it some time." Their lover offered a smile. "It usually clears up on its own." "Sammy, it's been a month now-"

"Oh-"

He took a moment, pausing. "Well, my dear, have you not yet come across something, perhaps... Particularly inspiring? Something that would get your mind going again?" He asked. "Perhaps revisiting a source of media you enjoy could get you back into it." Y/N paused, nodding. "Yeah, maybe." They glanced to their sketchbook before looking back to Sammy.

Maybe it was the way the artificial light from the overhead lamp hit his eyes, his patient smile, his soft hair. Maybe it was what he said about finding a source of inspiration.

Either way, they'd just found their source of inspiration, and it was him.

They smiled, and Sammy gave them a curious sort of expression.

"Actually... Would you mind if I drew you?" They asked, picking up their paper and pencil. "I wouldn't mind at all, dear." Sammy chuckled, feeling a bit flattered that his darling would project such creativity onto a piece of his likeness.

"That's great because you're gonna be there for a bit." They laughed.

"Oh!" He chuckled, shaking his head with amusement.

And for about 30 minutes he sat there as Y/N sketched his likeness onto their paper. The curve of his smile, the glow of his eyes, and the warmth he made them feel - they projected it all into their work.

After all, you know what they say.

Drawings are the love language of an artist.
