✨️ Sunday Summary ✨️

🦋 I started drafting an additional set of scenes to conclude the main prologue section. Originally it was just a scene for Noah, but I'm playing around with making branches for each of the interests instead. I'm still undecided whether I will keep it in or not, but thought I may as well draft it out and see how I feel after!

🦋 I've been working out all the different assets I'll need and have created design docs for each of them to help steer me as I work through the lists!

🦋 I've started making thumbnail designs and sketches for backgrounds! There's going to be quite a few in the prologue but fortunately most of them will be used in the routes so it's effort now that will hopefully save more time when I get onto the routes and the full game!!

🦋 I've been chatting and answering questions on my new discord server!! 😊 It's been a lot of fun sharing my excitement and hyperfixations with others! Do come and join if you'd like, I'd love to have you!!

I've also included a screenshot of my canvas which has my draft and all my thoughts written on there! I tend to write by hand as I find things flow better, but as you can see it ends up very messy! 😂 Still, the draft has come together and I've covered all the main branches so excited to start writing more formally!

I hate being busy with things I don’t care about I should just start talking and hope something sticks. let’s go atmosphere that always goes well for me. haha lightbulb just happened So shirahama gets caged in some half-way isolated corner of the school. miyano looks him right in the face with no recognition in his eyes. he gets asked if he wants to walk home together. shirahama feels the world tilting beneath his feet, sees what he lost at the core of the earth, tastes blood crawling unnaturally up his throat. he declines the offer. so what now?

well first of all miyano—he doesn’t flinch at the rejection, shirahama did say this time, he did imply that there’d be a next time, that’s his fault that’s his bad he’s so fucking bad at this—miyano says something like, See you, then, not that he could super hear over the blood roaring in his ears, and this is totally a threat to shirahama through no fault of miyano’s, because to be seen tomorrow is actually kind of the last thing he wants. and also all he wants. to see miyano tomorrow and the day after tomorrow and for every day’s tomorrow forever. Who said that. he doesn’t want to be seen tomorrow because—there’s a lot of reasons for this. remind him to come back to this later. put a—put a pin in it, or something. (guilt. guilt, and he doesn’t want to be here tomorrow, or the day after tomorrow, or for every day’s tomorrow forever. he wants to not be here, is what he wants, and he wants miyano to also not be here. to be wherever he is, as a matter of fact. Shut up.)

first of all, miyano turns and leaves, shadow casting long and inkier than it might normally, and he disappears beyond one of the walls making up the impractical niche he’d been backed into. shirahama listens to his footfalls until he can’t anymore, which isn’t long, because the blood in his ears has, to say less, not gone anywhere. to say more: waves crashing on deck send him rushing against concussive surfaces; the wood screams and groans, splits down the middle; turbulent waters silence him where his mind cannot by sheer force of noise alone.

shirahama falls against the wall and folds in on weak legs, second of all, and he shudders for breath like he’s never done it before.

maybe sixth of all, he gets back to the dorms. long since dark. it’s empty and all, muted, the occasional light dimly casting shadows to be spooked by. seventh of all he dumps his bag in a seat at the table, and he’ll call it, generously, eighth, that he sits there until he wakes up gasping and coughing, his body caving in on itself, crumbling from weakened integrity. he stops counting. wasn’t very good at it to begin with.

Sunday VN updates Robin edition

So, ofc since its a Sunday centric game, Robin NEEDS to show up and you can befriend her! I was gonna begin doing her Sprites, but I remembered... I once did a Robin x Nilou fanart, so I was wondering, do you guys want an entirely new sprite, or can I crop the fanart and refine it? I will add new expressions in either case.

k-707 ( 2025 EDITION ) RELEASE - FIRST WAVE

It’s finally here! Well, the first part of it—because let’s be real, this beast of a project is too massive to drop all at once ( unless we suddenly gain the ability to compress/expand time ) ;)

For now, we’re rolling out the first wave of k-707, covering :

- Base Game/Seasons ( Willow Creek, Oasis Springs, Newcrest ) - Get to Work ( Magnolia Promenade ) - Outdoor Retreat ( Granite Falls ) - Vampires ( Forgotten Hollow ) - Cottage Living ( Henford-on-Bagley ) - High School Years ( Copperdale ) - Life & Death ( Ravenwood )

Yes, we know ... you want more—but trust us, this is already a lot. The rest will come soon-ish ( don’t ask for dates, we’re not EA ) and as we say again and again, this is a work in progress, time for us to understand some more things with blender managing vertex painting and so on ;)

For everything related to instructions, how-to and so on, see the previous post or the "Download Page" of the k-707 on our website.

We replaced, reshaped, optimized, and obsessed over hundreds of trees and plants. Everything is optimized for directX11 ... Now, in theory, all should move right, look right, and fit right :D If you encounter a purple question mark on this new release, just send us a message. We'll see this together :)

Do not be surprised, some trees ( very very few ) are not yet modified ( -> I think about topiaries ) and some others have been fully replaced ( such as the ugly majestic and royal palms in base game )

Never forget this is still a work in progress and some changes will be done later ;)

As soon as we do some minor modifications and checks, we'll release a SECOND wave ( which should be very soon indeed )

Later ( End of February ) a THIRD and final wave will be released ...

Installation & Warnings

Each Expansion has 2 folders : one for plants, one for trees

The base game is split into 4 folders : 2 lots + 2 debug

Expansions with minimal greenery ( City Living, University, Get2Work ) are in single folder named k-hippie-k707-multi-greeny-2025

Do NOT mess with the folder structure unless you love chaos. If you merge files and something breaks, that’s on you. We won’t be able to troubleshoot Frankenstein mods ... More information on our website or into the previous post ;)

Final Notes

K-707 isn’t perfect ( yet ) :D We’re still tweaking, improving, and fixing things. We are aware some textures and styles need to be refined/modified. It will be done in time. But this is already a massive upgrade. So, enjoy your lusher, greener, better-integrated Sims world—and if you spot a tree acting weird, just pretend it’s haunted until we fix the green :D

Remember the k-mods are still and always free. Thanks to freely give a little something if you can. This is a massive piece of work and so, a massive piece of time ;)

We added few missing plants to the base game ( both lot & debug ) and some modifications to some plants ( azalea - hydrangea ) ... Some textures have been fixed. As we said, there will be adjustments and tiny updates. You know, a work in progress ;)

We know the gameplay bug related to for rent expansion but we finished trees & plants for this expansion, so better to release :)

🦋 Was super busy with work this week so got a little less done overall

🦋 Finished the prologue addition - I decided to keep it!

🦋 Been working on more background thumbnail/concepts to help plan for full on sketches

🦋 Started sketching a Noah AU piece, for a zine I've joined! There will be dragons! There will be cooking! There will also be a short story where he's cooking for a customer he has a crush on!!

🦋 I've started doing some concepts/wireframes for the main gui pages, including an achievements page, the compendium and a few surprises!
