During our blissful 4-day beach trip and my niece's joyful 4-day birthday celebration, we left behind the worries and negativities—our own "𝚌𝚑𝚎𝚖𝚝𝚛𝚊𝚒𝚕𝚜"— for the sandy trails of the shore. As we play in the sand, played in the waves, and celebrated under the sun, we immersed ourselves in the simple pleasures of life. The laughter and love we shared helped us forget any lingering doubts and fears, allowing the ocean breeze to carry them away. Each moment spent together was a reminder that joy and positivity can always outshine the metaphorical chemtrails of our lives.

What about fairies that live around rock pools and tide pools and dance in the moonlight and collect pearly shell fragments to use as dinner plates and have stained glass wings with sea weed for dresses and crabs as pets, and sing into their reflections and kiss their siren sisters on the cheeks for good luck and tickle the limpets and lead little girls to the best spots for seeing starfish and who leave hide in the sea foam and play in the early morning waves and sometimes visit their neighbours who live in the rivers and ponds that feed into the sea ☆*ﾟ¨ﾟﾟ･*:..ﾞ

Tress scratched the best itch for me, I’ve been craving a good fairy tale and it was just perfect. I kept slipping so hard into the fairy tale aspects that I kept getting caught by surprise whenever a cosmere thing stopped beating around the bush and revealed itself, actually. While I’m sure that wasn’t fully the intention, it was a really fun way to read some brandermansanderman coming fresh off of sunlit man and how intensely locked in I was with the Connections. Genuinely Tress is such a fun little romp. I love girls who sail in fucked up seas and this is a genre I want more of please thank you.
