Why did Macaques hair look so much cuter before he started copying Wukong how dare you take that from us?

I’m guessing you might have missed the lore post about Macaque, but I go over a bit on the reasons why Mac started copying Wukong and the major one is how before he arrived at FFM he was basically running away from the previous group he was with, and after he arrived in the island and promptly lost to Wukong he cut his ties metaphorically AND literally, making it seem like the Monkey King had killed him.

Since he was now “dead” he stayed in the island for a long time without leaving until one day Wukong convinced him to go on a trip with him, which led to him taking precautions and making sure he looked different enough for no one to recognize him, and one of those was copying Wukong’s hairstyle since it was the easiest to do and keep up with, after a bit he just started using it around people more, especially strangers

Worry not anon, he does keep his hair down in private way more often than not, which technically I have so much art of him doing this lmaoo I just haven’t posted it lol

(Also I didn’t think anyone had a preference to his hair being down, which I actually prefer cause you’re right he’s so cute)

So he got them during a—let's say—crossroads of destiny *wink wink*#Those are his shame tattoos. He's terribly embarrassed by them so the Gaang tease him about them. (He's secretly very proud of them tho)#It's all about the duality inherent to fire (and himself!) as well as protection.#The red dragon has his back at all times. It protects Zuko from his past—from everything that he has left behind and is walking away from.#The Blue dragon guards him front unknown threats. It curls over his left arm (his most vulnerable side) and rests its head over Zuko's heart #It's all very symbolic #Zuko loves his tattoos but is also embarrassed and ashamed of how he got them. Just wanted to make something for the AU because I love it with all my heart. Like, I love Sun and Moon in this, the plot, too. It's just amazing, dude. Can't wait to see how the story goes!!

My rambling under the cut-

First of all, I just wanna apologize for how long it took me to finish this qwq

I'm no professional animator and I made a ton of mistakes in the process of making this-

I've always liked crime/detective shows since I was little so I think that kind of explains why I love this AU so much XD

I tried to get as much of the AU into the animation as possible. There are also some unintentional and intentional references to the comic Meg made last year (ex. Sun tugging on his glove, etc.)

When I said I was gonna 'fix' older frames I actually meant "redraw almost the entire animation". Why? My style has changed a lot ever since I started this project. The first half looked so poorly drawn compared to the second half, and there were some scenes that I didn't like or didn't make sense.

I still have the old frames saved and oh boy... you CAN see the big difference and improvement... there are some I posted here some time ago that do not appear in this now. There are some scenes I did leave there, I think it's noticeable which ones because of the style

That's all I have to say I think yee :3

He (and Stephan) doesn't change his name when he unifies a miraculous or when he's using a power-up. But I think the bee+lion would be Sun Guard, the mouse+lion Apodemus, and the cat+lion would be Gold Storm.

How would Y/N’s guards take care of them if they weren’t feeling well?

The two take their job of protecting you very seriously, and while they know they can't really prevent you from ever getting sick, they take nursing you back to full health as their main priority. Sir Moon always tends to take it worse; his attitude sours and his protectiveness kicks into overdrive. No one but him and Sun get to come in or out of your chambers; he pesters and demands watches over Chica in the kitchen, making sure every meal would be easy on your stomach as much as your throat. Soft foods and soups with everything finely minced to require little to no chewing, nothing that could struggle to slide down your little throat. He gathers up all the various types of medicine the annex has, fresh pillows, blankets, towels; anything and everything you could possibly need while you're forced to stay on bed rest. He keeps fresh cool water available for you, ice if you want something extra cold. Moon will wipe away your sweat with gentle care, help swap out your pillow when it's become too heated, your garments as well when they get soaked in sweat and cling too tightly. He refuses to enter sleep mode while you're sick, opting to charge while he watches over incase you need anything at all. Sir Sun also gets put on bed rest, Moon leaves cuddling and warming your body to him. The sunlight guard will always make sure you don't leave the soft prison on your own, carrying you to the restroom as needed, brushing your hair out of your face with tender touches and soft kisses while checking your temperature to see if there are any changes. Sun will taunt and tease with flirty promises, how him and Moon should be the only reason you'd struggle to leave the bed, not some annoying little virus; though his touches never drop past loving care, his kisses light and chaste to not leave you gasping further for air when it's already a struggle.

The two stay in this routine for however long it takes; unbothered and hushing your apologies for them taking care of you. It's never a burden for them to shower you with their love, to take care of something, someone so very important to them; just rest and let them soothe away all the ache.
