Lesser Lord Kusanali's Character & Personality

Nahida, also known by her Goetic name Buer, is the God of Wisdom and the current Dendro Archon among the Seven who presides over Sumeru. Greater Lord Rukkhadevata created her as the new incarnation of the Archon from the purest branch of Irminsul to succeed her. Now, she resides in her vessel. At first, Nahida is elusive and secretive. She voluntarily left ruling the city to the sages, though she would intervene as best she could if they stepped out of line. Nahida also suffers from incredibly low self-esteem due to the way the sages treated her. However, after the sages downfall and the cleansing of Irminsul, many of these traits minimized or vanished. Nahida now openly wanders around the city when she has time and interacts with her people. In addition, she has a cheerful view of herself. Nahida almost always maintains a gentle and kind demeanor when she speaks. She even treats everyone as equals. But Nahida's social skills and understanding of human interaction need work. As a result, she has slight eccentric speech and behavior. Additionally, she frequently uses analogies when attempting to explain things. Nahida believes in helping people come to answers on their own, particularly regarding heavier truths, than providing all the answers. Thus, she's prone to peppering her speech with subtle clues about things she wants others to learn. More than anything, Nahida has exceptional intelligence and knowledge. She's capable of creating extremely thorough, multi-layered plans and can be a little manipulative if necessary. Nahida's also capable of making plans in a pinch. Most of all, Nahida is skilled at realizing when her intelligence is required and when her kindness is required, or both.

I gave myself a little too much anxiety today. So, instead of relaxing on the last hours of my day off with only 10 minutes left to do my Genshin dailies, I made a polyamory moodboard for Me x Kavetham.

The background is a swirl of purple, red, and green; (rep. Genshin!Nyx, Kaveh, and Alhaitham). It just made a greyish pink. Green 'n red making grey, then purple thrown in to preserve that redish vibe. Idk how to explain it in my current state. So, Color Theory!

Summary:

At the behest of Grand Sage Azar, Ningguang heads to Sumeru on a diplomatic trip, and Beidou tags along. Unfortunately, trouble never strays far from the Tianquan.

Chapter 3 Preview:

The pirate leans on the counter, her voice dropping to a low whisper: “I’d like to buy the moon.”

His smile doesn’t waver when he says, “You’re not a familiar face, lady. Might I know who wishes to buy the moon?”

He’s smart. She’ll give him that. Ningguang’s associates have always been a tricky bunch, and Babak is among the best. His eyes twinkle with a merchant's greed, but she glimpses wariness beneath that calm veneer. “Yeah,” Beidou replies, pretending to inspect an incense burner displayed on the counter. “The Eclipsing Star.”

Without another word, Babak turns and opens a door into the backrooms, gesturing at her to follow. “You'd like to see my prized antiques? Come, then. Let us speak inside.”

Beidou follows, fingers instinctively closing around her claymore as she steps into a humble room lit with lamps. Trusted spy or no, she is a pirate and a warrior, and she has had her fair share of surprises. Ningguang might trust this man's information, but Beidou would not trust him with her life. When her eyes finally adjust to the relative darkness, she sees Babak making himself comfortable on a wooden table. “You can relax,” the old man says amicably, “You’re the only stranger who has used the lady’s code in years. Though I must ask, who are you?”

Wordlessly, Beidou lowers her hood. Babak’s gaze drifts from her ruby eye to her dark brown hair, and chuckles. “Of course. She sent the Captain of The Crux, her closest confidante. What does she need?”

Close confidante. She would probe, but now isn't the time. Some part of her mind flutters at the compliment; the rest of her brain groans at the thought that the rumours of their relationship have spread like wildfire across Ningguang's network. It's not that she doesn't trust the Tianquan's partners, but for all of her smarts and scheming, Beidou has discovered that Tianquan Ningguang, mover and shaker of Liyue's mercantile spheres, is not the most discrete when it comes to love.

“Information.” Beidou slides into the opposite chair. “On the Akademiya. In particular, their recent movements.”
