Suki Desu Suzuki-kun!!, 'Kyou, Koi o Hajimemasu' Manga Get New 1-Shots

The first 2018 issue of Shogakukan's Sho-Comi magazine announced on Tuesday that Gō Ikeyamada will draw a one-shot for her Suki Desu Suzuki-kun!! manga in the magazine's combined third and fourth issue. In addition, Kanan Minami will draw a one-shot for Kyō, Koi o Hajimemasu in a future issue.

The magazine will also publish one-shots for Kyoko Kumagai's Ayakashi Hisen manga in the 11th issue and Chie Shinohara's Red River (Sora wa Akai Kawa no Hotori) manga in the sixth issue.

Miyuki Kitagawa (Anoko ni 1000%, Princess Army) and Ai Minase (Hachimitsu ni Hatsukoi, Namida Usagi ~Seifuku no Kataomoi~) will publish one-shots with "secret" titles in coming issues.

She pours out her story, so he takes pity on her (even though he'd pointed out that she can't really take a part-time job if she doesn't have a guardian) and offers the job as a live-in position. However, he has one condition: she's supposed to disguise herself so his brothers don't take an interest in her. Her disguise: lots of towels around her body, so she looks fat; makeup so she looks old (39); plus her hair is all loose and she's wearing glasses.

28.   Sekirara ni Kiss

Chitose has always done well wearing her face like a mask: always smiling, always cute. She feels complete whenever she put it on because it's built to hide her unrefined self: no one hates her, and no one makes fun of her. I can't believe I waited 13 years for a confession that was basically like, "I like you, but I have a goal so we can't be together. But I also want you to wait for me since you like me too."

Now I know that neither of them are actually emotionally available enough to be in a relationship, but the whole promise necklace thing ain't it.

I don't mind swerving around each other until they get together, and even though it's infuriating to read. Cecila Ahern did that for Where Rainbows End. They were actually emotionally available enough to be together by the end, and I'm happy about that.

But damn it just felt a little lack luster after the fact. Not like this manga hasn't been going on since 2002.

Sigh. Even as I complain, I'm still getting up to date and I'll probably finish it, the way I'm going to finish Suki Desu Suzuki-kun.

Just watched the So Cute it Hurts! Two episode OVA. And Plan to watch the Suki desu Suzuki-kun! OVA. I will buy the rest of the So Cute it Hurts! manga and will do the same with Suki desu Suzuki-kun! once it’s licensed. In hopes that both will get proper anime adaptations.
