I was looking through old photos on my phone and found the pics I took of my arms after committing suicide for the third time. Thank God no fresh photos only ones of my scars and the altering bruises and the metal cramps functioning as stiches. Seeing these long horizontal scars makes me itch for a blade. At the same time it makes me wonder how it's possible that it didn't kill me and I'm still alive?!

Suicide Squad Isekai was a lot like the 2016 film, dumb fun. The only part that dragged was that chunk from the start to the middle where they kept getting locked up or meandering about.

This show just reminds me that there are two distinct types of making a anime out of western product, the ones where it's more or less the same with some slight stylization differences due to culture like Gotham Knight or the Stich anime. OR balls to the walls, everything's got more designs and power ups and everyone get's a fancy sequince no matter how mundane the move is. Squad is more like say Batman Ninja and Marvel Disk Wars in that aspect

I await more and if possible a Flash series since that's someone the one of the key staff members really loves.

Now when are we getting a Spiderman harem anime?

One of the things that really stuck out to me that I thought was cool with Isekai is how while most went "let's just forget about 2016's Suicide Squad" this show went "we didn't forget" and pulled certain inspirations from there specifically. I also definitely got those vibes of it being in the same vein as a Batman Ninja. Speaking of, I need Yakuza League to drop tomorrow. I'm also going to need to look into this Marvel Disk Wars now.

It almost feels like a crime that nobody has jumped on a Spider-Man anime. I remember drawing one up myself in middle school. That's how long I've been waiting for an anime.

i really want to share this because i think i was so smart to come up with this and i dont think i'll be finishing karma is a bounty hunter anytime soon. here's the twist:

Elle would be speaking on the phone to Tash and Andrew, and she starts complaining about this Ristic dude who's been the one spearheading the campaign against her and Harlow.

Tash would be like hmm interesting. have you considered that it might actually be pronounced Ri-Stich, which is a common Serbian last name.

Elle pauses, then goes I'm such an idiot!! and goes on to explain that Ristic is Lil's maiden name but she's only ever heard it spoken, never seen it written anywhere. Then goes on to say that she's only ever met three serbian people not including Tash. Lil, Serena...And the guard outside Robert's room (Robert attempts to kill himself *actually a murder attempt) who won't let her in to visit him despite her being explicitly named as his POA. Andrew asks how she knows his last name, and Elle explains that she can't see his name tag because he's wearing a coat but that one of the other guards called him by it earlier.

Then, she delivers the big fuck off twist. She can only think of one person who would care about getting revenge on her and Robert...Lil's eldest son Luka Dokich. She's been trying to speak to him for an interview for years but she's been searching for the last name Dokich, it never occurred to her he would have changed it to anything else. Realizing that Robert is probably in danger, Elle, without any allies left (Paul disowned her in part one, Riley is still in Sydney, Nicolette and Leo turn their backs on her in part three when she reveals that she actually could have given David a kidney, however she had made a choice to save it in case Harlow might need it later, Harlow tells her that she'd kill herself to get away from her too after Robert's alleged suicide attempt etc. it's the dark before the dawn basically) runs out of her hospital room, and up to Roberts. Robert is not there, the door is open and there's a small trail of blood from a removed IV...And crushed jacaranda flowers going up the fire escape.

Jacaranda flowers were going to be a repeating image in the story. They appear in the first part only on Elle's computer (she has Beneath the Jacaranda as her wallpaper), but in part two they would show up when she meets with Riley in Sydney and they walk under them in a park. Then in part three they would have shown up again when Elle arrives back at Lassiters and she follows a trail of them to another hotel room where Luka is spying on her and Harlow from, and for a third time when she's pushed down some stairs by him she's got one in her hand. In part four they would have shown up in Elle's extended dream sequence that takes place in the Plane from the Plane crash, where outside the window they're like, raining on them, and again after her long talk with Helen in the second part of the dream sequence she begs to be allowed to see Cameron before she goes, Helen agrees and lets Elle out into the backyard where he's waiting for her under some jacaranda trees. Finally, in part five they show up twice. Once, on the way to the prison with Harlow to see Robert they pass a car that has crashed into a Jacaranda tree before receiving the call he's tried to take his own life (and Harlow is angry that Elle is his POA not her) and again to lead Elle up to the roof top where she begins her confrontation with Luka to determine if Robert is going to live or die.

Part of the reason I havent actually started writing this is that it's too daunting lol, and also I haven't done that much research into Luka's episodes so I'm not sure what his actual fate is/if he has a personality that would lead her. not that it matters I guess neighbours can make a baddie out of anyone. But anyway if you were curious about the ending of Karma is a Bounty Hunter, then. here you go!

Let's talk about the two best new students in Titans Academy

(I'm not including people like Billy Batson- aka well established heroes- I'm only talking about the completely new students created just for this series)

(New students at Titans Academy- not including Dane, who was late to class)

Alright so Summer is chill (pun intended) but we don't know much about her other than her ice powers. Matt is op af (with the Titans even theorizing that he's a second Superman clone) and he's also a super genius.... Other than that, not much personality so far. Brick is angsty and .... angsty. That's about it. He trains and avoids people.

Now Alinta we are going to get back to. (Because she's awesome)

Moving on down, we have Tooby, who..... is friends with Stitch? That's all I got. He seems alright but again, not much personality. Then we have Gorilla Gregg, who's main thing is that he's a Gorilla and that he's there....

Finally we have Stitch who doesn't get much characterization at all but is also the second best character. I don't make the rules (I do)

As you can see this series is really struggling to give these kids personalities. There's just too many to develop well. But the one person who has gotten development??? My beloved speedster, Bolt!!

(why is Cyborg training the speedster and not, oh idk, Kid Flash who is literally a TA at the school???)

So Bolt (aka Alinta) is pretty awesome. She's just trying to live her best life and be a hero. She can only use her superspeed for short periods of time but that doesn't stop her!!!

(that's not a complete speed equation!!!! You can use your superspeed for longer if you just ask any speedster for the full thing!!!!!)

Alinta is from Australia and uses the speed equation to use her powers! What I find interesting is that it only worked for her and we don't have a last name for her...... Is it potentially Chambers? Or Thawne? West? Allen? Gasp... Garrick????

Not that she needs to be related to the others but I do find the lack of a last name... suspicious to say the least. (Also, imagine if this is another flash fam cousin, how hilarious would that be??)

Amanda Waller is basically trying to recruit Bolt to her Suicide Squad. She really really really wants a speedster on the team. She's already attempted to kidnap Bolt once (it failed spectacularly because, y'know, she's a speedster. One does not simply 'catch' a speedster)

(WOOOO!!! Go tf off Alina!!!! Hell yeah!!!)

Alina tells off Amanda Waller like a badass and Waller sends her goons (the suicide squad) after her because she really really really wants a speedster.

(I like the self control she's showing to keep her speed below what would break her wheelchair)

Have I mentioned that Amanda Waller has a mind controlled Superboy in the Suicide Squad? No? Well, she does. He's very volatile.

So yeah, the Titans rescue Bolt, her and Kid Flash kick butt together and all ends well. I guess Amanda Waller gave up on catching her? And the Titans didn't expel Bolt like she feared, so yay.

So, yeah, that's the best newbie so far. Bolt.

(as far as I'm concerned, she's already a member of the Flash Family despite only knowing KF. He's going to show up to a family dinner with Bolt in tow and no one will even question it)

Damn now I’m thinking of how cool magic 2000’s could be because to me the 2000’s has a lot of laughable edge. The 2000’s themselves would do a bending race war with racist stereotypes representing the elements. But mainly I’m thinking of how a flip phone can be used to cast magic because the numbers can be combined into Japanese number puns.

Anyways that’s completely unrelated so imagine spirits infecting technology, spirits being BORN of technology, and the avatar pops up to deal with it. Lilo and Stich the series mixed with ghost busting. Maybe this Avatar would be the one to commonly visit the spirit world and see it change to reflect the world. Giant trees with countless windows to reflect high rises, tron lines of blades of grass.

Now I want to imagine how creatively bankrupt this series could be, black earthbenders? Suicide squad but with benders? Old white guy that met Korra?

The only fun thing I could imagine them doing is exploitation of spirits and a continuation of the vilification of benders but I feel that would blow up in their faces. Rather hilariously

Dib and zim actually got pretty protective over each other, like one day zim just stopped messing with dib and vise versa, and their classmates are still super confused

Zim tamed a pack of wolves. Nobody knows how, he just, is part of a pack of wolves, dib only found out when the pack showed up during recess and zim went and pet them. Sometimes the wolves show up at the house and zim lets them INSIDE THE HOUSE sometimes zim just goes to the woods to say hi.

Zims actually really good at sports, he just hates the teamwork part, (I’m looking at the nick tennis and baseball games) he still is a tennis person, and is actually really good

The second zim and dib were friends, the other kids feared for thier life, it was the schools most dangerous duo, one time zim was chosen for a dodgeball leader, and immediately chose zim, and when I say the other team almost cried, I mean it, they got SWEPT like a clean sweep.

The fist time zim got a real, genuine hug, he cried, because he was so confused

TW: suicide, this one is just angsty and like, progecty ig so like skip if you want: Zim tried to take his life once, swallowed a shit ton of human medicine cuz he thought it would be more “effective” dib found him when he wouldn’t wake up for dinner, zim survived, but he scared the shit out of everyone (sorry this one’s kinda sad no clue why I conjured this one)

Zim has a soft spot for baby animals, watches those kitten videos on YouTube and such

Red and purple actually got incredibly bored without zim, but they think he’s dead, sometimes they regret it. Not often but, sometimes

Zim can actually use the water in the membranes house, it’s the most clean water in the city, courtesy of membrane himself,

Zim really likes Disney movies, he will sit snd shush anyone that tries to talk during them, he really loves Lilo and Stich and Moana, (gee guess why)

Zim still had Phantom Pak legs, he jumps off a roof and lands flat on his face,

Zim likes pretty pink clothing, but would never admit it, considering he abandoned his irken uniforms of spite (kept boots and gloves) he always likes looking at the pink dresses at the mall

Minimoose smells like a marshmallow, and for being s robot, is very soft

Keef once dramatically professed his love for zim in front of everyone (flowers a huge ass speech etc) and zim promptly threw up and beat Keef up after school for embarrassing him. Keef though he was playing hard to get (he was not. There was no love involved whatsoever.)

Zim fucking loves earth pastries, he will postpone his “evil plans” if dib bribes him with a couple of cupcakes.

^ when zim, gaz and dib were at a state fair, zim entered a pie eating contest, he just wanted pie, but it was the worst thing dib and gaz ever witnessed, he ate 3 pies in 5 minutes. It looked like the dark harvest but with blueberry pies. Dib still can’t eat pie, but zim did win.

Zim actually likes girs soap waffles, he just eats them in moderation

Since doughnuts are rarities for the tallest, the first time zim had a doughnut was when letter M brought them in for his birthday, zim was confused, ate it, and promptly cried at how delicious it was, like full on nearly sobbing, (his classmates were like “BRO?” “Is you good??!!”)

Membrane once invited zim over for dinner, because “he’s such a polite young man! With his passion for science, he’s a wonderful influence for you dib!” And zim was well behaved, dib however…..

Gaz and zim once played cuphead together, after fighting over who got to be cuphead (gaz won) they played… two dumbasses with anger problems playing a rage game…. Membrane and dib curled into a corner and cried of fear

Zim can cook actually really well because his time on foodcourtia, he just does not like to. He once cooked for a schools bake sale and dib accused him of buying it.

Zim hacked into the membranes Netflix account, and for some reason it cannot be removed, like he hardwired it into the account.

Zim and gaz and GIR Play video games together, (Minecraft, Roblox, supersmash bros, Mario kart and animal crossing are their specialties) “GAZ DONT CONSPIRE WITH THE ENEMIES!!” “Shut the fuck up GIR just found diamonds and if we don’t get to him he’s gonna die and lose them in lava”
