i hate how revealing that you're struggling with suicidal ideation is seen as manipulative or burdenous. Girl. I still have it even if i lie about it. It's not like it's any easier for me if you don't know. "Ohh it's attention seeking behavior" has an undertone of doubting that a person is actually suicidal - which, by the way, i think is as bad as doubting that someone is ill. What, would you only be happy if they actually did it? I get it's exhausting. I get it makes you afraid. That doesn't mean people should have to hide it from you.
