Summary

Ina is dead, but this is not the end. She now exists in a kinder world where people preside over their dreams with a fantastical guardian. Emboldened with the need to help others, Ina sets out to become a Dream Piercer, entering into nightmare inflicted dreams to ease the pain of life. However, old faces complicate her mission, and she finds herself tackling with the balance of blame and forgiveness within the Dreaming Universe.

Some official art of a new story concept that I fell in love with! It's full of whimsical dreams of course, but an interesting look at the healing process + afterlife. The reversal of gendered norms in I Hear Your Voice was so well done and satisfying. I enjoyed every minute of it. For one thing, the older woman/younger man trope is something I eat up every time.

HyeSeong is brash, arrogant, headstrong, stubborn and messy, something that we normally see in male leads. She eats messily, her house is messy and she's rude and unpleasant to everyone.

SuHa is quiet, patient, mellow, tidy and cares about the way he dresses/accessorizes. He has his own individual style that doesn't necessarily conform to what other people expect. (Also most of his clothes look like women's clothes? Which is awesome?) He takes on the more traditionally feminine role in the house, cooking and cleaning for his partner, and frequently gentle parents her through her struggles.

When HyeSeong gets kidnapped in the 17th episode, he doesn't do the toxically masculine bullshit of charging in half cocked with no backup, and actually admits his fears, asks for help and reveals that he doesn't want to die. He sticks to his values, lives and dies by his promises, and doesn't put his masculinity and image over his love interest

I love them both so so much.

Spring redressing time! We'll see how much longer everyone can fit on one shelf! Everyone's been redressed and the artificial hair gang had their hair brushed. I swear I brushed it.

And yeah I know the bottom especially is overexposed, but it's hard to get both very dark-skinned dolls and dolls with straight-up white on them properly exposed in the same shot, IME.

I swear Orchid is in the picture, she's lounging on a fireplace I thrifted! But it's behind everyone, oops.

I'm obsessed with Park SuHa. Everything about him. He's tall and slender and pretty. He towers over HyeSeong, but always hunches a little and bends over to be closer to her eye level. He wears those tank tops that make him look so small and soft. That stupidly adorable slow blinking thing he does. The way he can see HyeSeong's true self, so she doesn't need to pretend around him. How mellow and pliant he is when they're at home, doing anything and everything he can to make her happy and safe. The fact that he knows martial arts, so he can actually defend both of them.

I love him so so much

How sad will Suha's story be in Dream Piercers? The lock on toyhouse and her dying of a heart attack tells me it's gonna be super painful and Dream Piercers in general looks amazing.
