I started reading this book while at work and like what is with authors writing fat characters? Like every girl who's thin is just described as hot and body rocking, making Mark over there want to cheat on his wife but he won't because he's faithful but he will get jealous if someone else is flirting with her. And then there's that fat freak Neal with his fatty fat fingers and fat flabby stomach, and he flew fattily across the bus and broke his chubby fat neck. But lets not forget to compare this ore's neck to the size of Neal's stomach. Yes he's dead but in the narrative his fattiness will live on because he was just SO BIG

@vriskarlmarx asked for my special scrambled eggs making recipe and so i will share it with all of you. :3
what you need is:
3 eggs.
a little bit of lactose free milk. (or normal milk i guess)
olive oil
a diced third of a large onion/half of a medium sized onion.
a garlic tooth.
a pinch or two of salt.
a pinch or two of black pepper.
a teaspoon of ground sugarless cinnamon.
a teaspoon of oregano/marjoram and thyme mix (interchangeable).
a diced tomato.
half a diced bell pepper.
cheese (to taste, i use gouda.)
diced ham (if you have it. also to taste. i usually don't but when i've made it with ham it turns out good.)
so here's what you do:
1. you crack the eggs on a bowl.
2. you put some oil in the pan and begin cooking the onion.
3. you season the egg mix and add milk. salt and pepper are classics, the oregano/oregano substitute goes really well with the toppings, and the cinnamon gives it a surprisingly fun kick! the milk helps fluff up the egg and give it a fun consistency. good tip for omelets too!
4. after the onions have cooked just barely you add the bell pepper to cook a bit.
(optional step 1: dropped the diced ham at this point too! it'll brown nicely.)
5. after that goes the garlic. it browns fast so it goes last!
6. once you have the basis in the pan, put the eggs in!
7. immediately after dropping the beaten eggs in the pan, add the tomato. this is so the tomato is highlighted as fresh against all the other stuff.
8. break apart the eggs as they hug the toppings.
(optional step 2: add cheese to taste as it cooks, covering with a lid for it to melt. i usually do little salt to have the cheese and ham balance it, and it ends up great, but if you don't like cheese or ham that much you can just adjust the salt ratio to figure out what works.)
and those are my eggs! plate it nicely, it goes great in a sandwich with avocado, tapenade and balsamic vinegar, but you can also just eat it straight.

Back to school
Nicky comes back to raven brooks middle school after the events of “mr Peterson’s guest” (btw this takes place on a Wednesday after Nicky took a couple days off)
It was a foggy October morning in raven brooks,Nicky walked along the leaf covered curb and into the school gates passing the massive stone sign for the school which was covered in silk web and plastic pumpkins and bats, this left Nicky sorta excited because he read a flyer a couple days ago for “Halloween day” so he could come in his costume in a few days. But he still was not doing well despite his excitement because he went through what his parents called an “episode” on Saturday night.
He entered the school and was looking down at his feet, not paying attention to anyone or anything but then he realized something, the hallways were dead silent but he always knew if there was a quiet hallway with him in it he knew it had something to do with him.He was right because when he looked up he saw everyone staring at him and her,ugh Finch.”what do you want Finch?” Nicky said in a annoyed tone,”oh nothing I just wanted to show you this Nutty Nicky”.Nicky’s heart dropped he then saw a photo she was holding which is one of him from Saturday. Some students laughed then most then all of them.
It felt like everything was in slow motion, this was one of his worst nightmares and to rub salt in the wound finch even took a picture saying “smile Nutty Nicky”.He ran through the hall with tears welling up in his eyes bumping shoulders with someone but he didn’t care who, little did he know it was Trinity walking into school with Maritza,Trinity looked at him in shock but quickly ignored him since they weren’t on speaking terms right now due to what happened.but then saw finch and all the other kids “Did…did Finch take a photo of Nicky from Saturday night?!” Maritza butted in “I say he deserved it,he acted like a asshole to us that night so that’s his karma. Now come on trin we gotta get to homeroom”.
Nicky ran out the school doors past more students and ran around to the side of the school where the dumpsters where,he grabbed his backpack and rummaged through it to find…there it is! He picked up the sack from his bag and put it over his face,he curled up on the ground and began crying. He remembered what mr Peterson told him that day that no one cared and he once again realized it was true even if everyone was nice to him after what happened, they only had to do so because they had to.
“Uh Trinity come on we gotta get to homeroom” no matter how much she reminded her Trinity couldn’t stop staring at finch, she saw her laugh and say that name over and over and something had seemed to just snap in her, even though she didn’t particularly like Nicky right now she couldn’t stand by and watch him suffer again.she began walking towards her.Finch looked at her and smiled “hey trin trin! wanna see this hilarious photo I got of Nicky? I’m gonna show it to principal abbanante and finally get that asshole expelled! I just waited for him to get here to finally tell her Oh and by the way now we got sugarless cookies! so now you can buy som-“ Trinity interrupted her “SHUT THE HELL UP” and everyone went silent “YOU’RE HORRIBLE,SURE I THOUGHT YOU WERE JUST A LITTLE BIT RUDE BUT I TOLERATED IT BUT TAKING A PHOTO OF NICKY HAIVNG A FRICKING MENTAL BREAKDOWN IS THE LAST STRAW” Finch looked angry “I thought you didn’t like him right now!” She said angrily,Trinity completely ignored what she said “Ugh,come with me!” She grabbed finch by the hand and dragged her through the halls, everyone staring even Maritza.
Nicky laid on the ground feeling someone in front of him “leave me alone finch, you done enough!” But it wasn’t finch,”wow Nicky so rude” said Lucy.Nicky jolted up hearing that “L-leave me alone!” He responded “come one Nicky you know that bag isn’t doing anything just do a favor for the two of us and take the fucking bag off”.Nicky took the bag off his head, instead of normally Lucy and Mya being together,it was just Lucy.Lucy’s shadow form was different this time, normally it was her silhouette but now she was taller and her hair was spikier.”Whe-wheres Mya?” Nicky asked “she has bigger fish to fry so it’s just you and me,so what happened?…oh wait I already know I was watching form your shadow and wowwww really really sad” Lucy said in a sadistic tone “I know what you’re doing I’m not gonna fucking play with you-.”WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY” Lucy yelled in a distorted tone,Nicky backed to the wall cowering in fear “HOW DARE YOU DISRESPECT ME YOU LITTLE SHI-“ the outside intercom’s feedback blasted loudly with Nicky covering his ears and closing his eyes at the sound of it “can Nicky roth come to principal abbanante’s office” and when Nicky opened his eyes,Lucy was gone.
Nicky stuffed the sack into his backpack and walked back into the school, this time everyone had gone to class besides him.when he walked into her office he saw finch sat in a chair with her arms crossed looking annoyed and Trinity talking to principal abbanante out of her chair.”Have a seat Nicky.” Principal abbanante said,Nicky sat down and asked “what’s wrong?”.”Well Trinity is wrongly accusing finch here of being “insensitive” and taking a photo of you during your…moment”.trinty began to speak again “Seriously principal what could her excuse be-“,”Trinity it’s not your turn to talk, finch please explain your side of the story”.
Finch said probably the worst thing a human being could ever say next to finch is a good character/hj,”well I saw Nicky in mental distress and I felt awful for him I took this photo and waited until Nicky came back to school to tell this to you so you could talk to his parents about it!” what the fuck, finch said this with a big grin after lying to principal abbanante’s face! She can’t believe that “well that seems the most logical! Finch you’re free to go!”…well I mean finch was her favorite student no doubt so this made sense “what!? You’re just gonna let her go without even talking to Nicky first?,-“ Trinity yelled “Trinity don’t make call your parents all of you out of my office!” She responded.
Finch walked to class grinning, and when Nicky looked at Trinity before he could say thanks for trying she walked off.Nicky was then left in the hallway, completely alone,it doesn’t matter who what or how Nicky will always be the bad guy.

Dental Emergency? Don’t Wait!
Tumblr media
A dental emergency can strike at the most inconvenient times, leaving you in pain and unsure of what to do next. Ignoring a dental issue could lead to severe complications, so it’s crucial to act fast. Here’s what you need to know to handle a dental emergency and protect your oral health.
Common Dental Emergencies:
Toothache: Persistent pain could signal an infection or cavity. Avoid over-the-counter painkillers directly on the gums as it can cause tissue damage. Instead, rinse with warm salt water and contact a dentist immediately.
Broken or Chipped Tooth: Save any broken pieces, rinse your mouth, and apply gauze to stop bleeding. Seek professional care to prevent further damage.
Knocked-Out Tooth: Timing is critical! Handle the tooth by the crown, rinse gently, and try to place it back into its socket. If not possible, keep it in a container of milk or saline solution and see your dentist within 30 minutes.
Lost Filling or Crown: Use dental cement or sugarless gum as a temporary fix, but schedule a dental appointment as soon as possible.
When to Call for Help
If you’re experiencing severe pain, excessive bleeding, or swelling that affects your breathing, it’s an emergency. Many dental offices offer after-hours services to address urgent needs.
Prevention is Key
While dental emergencies can’t always be avoided, regular dental checkups and proper oral hygiene significantly reduce your risk. Use a mouthguard during sports, avoid hard foods, and practice good oral care daily.
Your smile is worth it—don’t delay seeking treatment. A prompt response to dental emergencies can save your teeth and spare you from long-term complications.

Protective Gear
Wear a mouthguard during sports and recreational activities to protect your teeth from injury. Use a nightguard if you grind your teeth while sleeping.

Knowing how to handle dental emergencies while on the road is essential to ensure your health and enjoyment aren't compromised. In this blog, we'll explore common dental emergencies, how to manage them, and why having the contact information of an emergency dentist in Justin can be beneficial, even when you're away from home.
Tumblr media
Common Dental Emergencies While Traveling
1. Toothache
Toothaches can range from mild discomfort to severe pain and can be caused by various factors such as cavities, infections, or gum disease. When traveling, it’s crucial to address a toothache promptly to avoid worsening the condition.
What to Do:
Rinse with Warm Salt Water: Mix a teaspoon of salt in a glass of warm water and rinse your mouth to reduce inflammation and kill bacteria.
Use Over-the-Counter Pain Relievers: Ibuprofen or acetaminophen can help manage pain.
Apply a Cold Compress: Placing a cold compress on the outside of your cheek can reduce swelling and numb the pain.
Seek Professional Help: If the pain persists, contact a local emergency dentist.
2. Broken or Chipped Tooth
A broken or chipped tooth can occur from biting hard foods, falls, or accidents. It can be painful and may lead to further dental issues if not addressed.
What to Do:
Rinse with Warm Water: Clean your mouth and the broken tooth piece with warm water.
Save the Tooth Fragment: If possible, keep the broken piece of the tooth in a container with milk or saline solution.
Use Dental Wax or Gum: To protect the sharp edges from damaging your mouth, cover the broken tooth with dental wax or sugarless gum.
Visit a Dentist: Look for an emergency dentist in Justin or the local area where you’re traveling to get professional care.
3. Knocked-Out Tooth
A knocked-out tooth is a serious dental emergency requiring immediate attention to increase the chances of saving the tooth.
What to Do:
Handle the Tooth Carefully: Avoid touching the root; hold the tooth by the crown (the top part).
Rinse the Tooth: Gently rinse with water if dirty, but do not scrub or remove any attached tissue.
Reinsert the Tooth: If possible, place the tooth back into its socket and hold it in place with gentle pressure.
Keep the Tooth Moist: If reinserting isn’t possible, place the tooth in a container with milk or a tooth preservation product.
Seek Immediate Dental Care: Time is crucial, so find the nearest emergency dentist promptly.
4. Lost Filling or Crown
Losing a filling or crown can leave your tooth vulnerable to damage and infection. It can also be quite painful.
What to Do:
Keep the Area Clean: Rinse your mouth with warm water to remove debris.
Use Temporary Filling Material: Over-the-counter dental cement or a piece of sugarless gum can temporarily cover the cavity.
Avoid Sticky Foods: Refrain from eating hard or sticky foods that could further damage the tooth.
See a Dentist: Find an emergency dentist in Justin or the area you’re visiting to replace the filling or crown.
5. Dental Abscess
A dental abscess is a painful infection usually occurring at the root of a tooth or between the gum and a tooth. It can cause severe pain, swelling, and fever.
What to Do:
Rinse with Salt Water: This can help to draw out some of the infection and reduce pain.
Take Pain Relievers: Over-the-counter medications can help manage pain and fever.
Avoid Hot or Cold Foods: Extreme temperatures can exacerbate the pain.
Seek Immediate Treatment: An abscess requires prompt attention from a dentist to prevent the infection from spreading.
Preparing for Dental Emergencies Before You Travel
Pack a Dental First Aid Kit
Having a dental first aid kit can be incredibly helpful in managing dental emergencies until you can see a dentist. Include items such as:
Pain relievers (ibuprofen, acetaminophen)
Dental wax
Temporary filling material
Cotton balls and gauze
A small container with a lid (for knocked-out teeth)
Antiseptic mouthwash
A list of emergency dentist contacts, including an emergency dentist in Justin
Know Your Dental Insurance Coverage
Before you travel, review your dental insurance policy to understand what coverage you have for emergencies while away from home. Some policies might cover international dental care, while others may not. It’s also a good idea to carry your dental insurance card and contact information for your insurance provider.
Research Local Dental Services
Researching dental services at your travel destination can save precious time during an emergency. Look up local dentists, their contact information, and read reviews to find reputable practitioners. If traveling domestically, knowing how to find an emergency dentist in Justin or other nearby areas can be reassuring.
Schedule a Dental Check-Up
Before embarking on a trip, especially a long one, schedule a dental check-up. Addressing potential issues before traveling can reduce the risk of encountering dental emergencies.
Handling Dental Emergencies on the Road
Stay Calm and Assess the Situation
Panicking can make the situation worse. Take a deep breath, assess the severity of the dental emergency, and decide on the best course of action.
Use Local Resources
Hotels, hostels, and travel guides often have information on local medical services, including dentists. Don’t hesitate to ask for assistance in finding an emergency dentist.
Tele-Dentistry Services
In some cases, tele-dentistry services can provide initial consultations and advice. While not a substitute for in-person care, these services can offer guidance on managing the emergency until you reach a dentist.
Language Barriers
If traveling to a country where you don't speak the language, having a translation app or phrasebook can be helpful. Learning a few basic phrases related to medical and dental emergencies can also be beneficial.
The Role of an Emergency Dentist
Even if you're not traveling to Justin, knowing about the services offered by an emergency dentist in Justin can provide insights into what to look for in an emergency dental service elsewhere.
Availability and Accessibility
Emergency dentists typically offer extended hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate unexpected dental issues. When traveling, seek out dentists who provide similar availability.
Comprehensive Care
An emergency dentist in Justin would offer a wide range of services, from pain relief to restorative treatments like fillings, crowns, and root canals. This level of comprehensive care is what you should look for when seeking dental help in an unfamiliar place.
Professional Expertise
Emergency dentists are skilled in handling a variety of urgent dental problems. Their expertise ensures that you receive appropriate care, reducing the risk of complications.
Follow-Up Care
A reliable emergency dentist provides follow-up care instructions to ensure your recovery continues smoothly after the initial treatment. They may also liaise with your regular dentist to ensure continuity of care.
Conclusion
Dental emergencies can be daunting, especially when traveling. However, being prepared and knowing how to manage these situations can make a significant difference. Whether it's packing a dental first aid kit, understanding your insurance coverage, or knowing how to find an emergency dentist in Justin or elsewhere, these steps can help you handle dental emergencies effectively. Remember, the key to a smooth and enjoyable trip is preparedness, so take the necessary precautions to protect your dental health while exploring the world.

After the leak for the new Batman issue came out I've seen some Batman fans make some.... choice opinions.
Be to be fair they always have some... choice opinions.
Like guys idk how to tell you but the writing is not making him the good guy here. It's like the whole Tower of Babel incident and how fans misinterpreted the plot.
Some of the things that I have read and made me roll my eyes
'Jason deserved it.'
He did in fact not deserve to be mind fucked because he decided to work with Selina. Batman made him a god damn agoraphobic. We see him sitting down, in a prison cell, trying to convince himself to get up but can't because he is in so much fear. Have you guys ever been in a position where you know you need to move but can't because your anxiety won't let you? Let me tell you it sucks and I know that this is fiction but it just rubs me the wrong way to see how people treat this situation. (Probs because that type of anxiety hit to close to home)
'Bruce has been betrayed by his entire family so of course he's going to fight them.'
Shut up. Just shut up. We all know that it's Zur en arrh that's making him think that what he's doing is rational but no it's not. The writing shows that he is not in the right for doing so. Reading comprehension is nice and you guys would be lucky to have it.
'Selina's a dumb whore and Tini Howard is the one who made this plot happen.'
Selina's plan is dumb but your misogyny is just POPING with that one. And you guys know how I feel about people saying Howard forced the Selina plot. No Editorial told them that they wanted an event with the batfamily because it would sell a good amount of comics. That's what these events are for. Please, guys, you have to understand how marketing works. Comics have been doing this for a long time.
I feel the same way when fans bitched about Tom King and how he ruined the wedding. No editorial ruined the wedding because THEY WANT TO SELL COMICS 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. (And this is said by someone who also doesn't vibe with Kings Batman)
I just think Zdarsky had more to work with when it came to the plot because he wanted to continue his Zur arc. Idk if Howard had anything to bring with Catwoman, but if someone who's read her work let me know if she could have done something else (genuinely curious not being a jerk lol)
I also find the premise of the batfam going against Bruce himself interesting. I just think it's neat. I liked to see how everyone reacted to what Bruce did to Jason. Like, when Dick came down HARD when he found out about Jason. How he was about to just beat the shit out of Bruces face even if he passed out. Dick had to be stopped by Tim who was trying to be the voice of reason. Damien was ditched by Bruce and we had the moment with Tim hugging Damien and telling him it's going to be okay. Then you have Bruce slightly coming back to his senses by throwing the batarang down for Dick to use.
Was the Selina vs Bruce a bait and switch to what the actual war was going to be? Because the Gotham war that involves the batfam going up against a Batman who's a danger to himself and others is a plot that I like.

msby!atsumu x reader || w/c: 1.9k ft. questionable methods of contacting the paparazzi. [<- read intro][ch 2->]
Tumblr media
Atsumu’s last elementary school report card— faithfully stored by his mother in a sturdy carton in her closet, along with her other important documents— has near perfect grades, and only one comment from his teacher.
Atsumu chooses to deal with matters, both academic and personal, in an independent and determined manner.
By the time middle school was over, Atsumu hadn’t changed; but the comment sure had.
Atsumu prefers not to ask for assistance even if he is having trouble with his work. I would like to see him asking for help or clarification when required.
Then in highschool, he’d learned how to bite back his pride enough to earn an approving ‘Atsumu is an active participant in his learning’ by the end of his third year.
And now look at him, asking strangers online for help without a second thought. Old Mrs. Yamada from Yako Middle School would be so proud.
Atsumu wonders how she’s doing. He idly types her name into the search bar, and immediately finds an obituary.
He blinks at the pixelated picture of her sweet, smiling, deceased face; and tries to decide if he should take this as a portent regarding the consequences of asking for help, or as a reminder of the relentless march of time.
Time, which you and Osamu were spending together at this very moment.
Atsumu has to resist the urge to bang his head against one of the lockers.
He tries his best not to think about it; but it’s early afternoon, he’s done with practice, the last one in the locker room, and unfortunately, has far too much time to not only think about it, but vividly picture it too. It’s like a goddamn movie in his mind, complete with subtitles.
(They’re hard coded in; because of course, he’s third wheeling so hard in this scenario, he had to resort to watching said movie on the shadiest of websites, battling the pop up ads telling him about the hot singles in his area— just to rub salt in the wound.)
It went like this: you and Osamu are baking a cake together. You tell Osamu he’s got flour on his face, giggling for some reason, and he asks where. So you point to your nose, and he smears some on your face with a grin. Barf.
Oh Osamu, you’re so much more fun than Atsumu, you say, all doe-eyed. Your subtitles are pink. The sweetest thing I’m allowed to make him is sugarless raisin bran cookies.
Yer damn right about that, Osamu replies (looking right at the camera, deadpan), Let’s get married just so we can not invite him to the wedding.
Okay, maybe Osamu wouldn’t go that far.
And maybe it wasn’t fair to hold the raisin bran cookies against you like that. He really did think they were chocolate chip; but in hindsight, it wouldn’t make much sense for his nutritionist to be giving those to him when he was supposed to be on a high-protein diet.
(Sue him, he thought you had enough of a soft spot for him to sneak him a treat.)
Atsumu sighs, and unlocks his phone again to pull up the post from last night. There are a few more replies— some calling it a fake story, a few asking for an update, and one person inexplicably telling him to go no contact with his brother.
Ridiculous. The whole idea was ridiculous; and surely msbygirlie (bless her) would eventually see through his half-assed attempt at disguising who he was.
His index finger hovers over the delete button.
And then his eyes land on that reply he’s been thinking about since last night.
well you don't have to talk to either of them... you said someone took the original photo. maybe they're still stalking?? ask them what they think?
It was insane. He’d be adding fuel to a fire that was dying down. It would drive the publicist crazy.
He wants to do it.
(Fuck, he’s going to do it.)

Atsumu Miya’s Guide to Finding and Trapping Your Local Paparazzi
Set a live trap in the location you expect your target to be.
“Shoyo,” Atsumu calls out, as he spots his wing spiker near the gymnasium exit, ya free right now?”
Hinata comes to a halt with a little hop, somehow still full of energy despite the full training session. “More or less. Why?”
Why? Because Sakusa would scoff and walk away, stopping only to report his plan to Meian; and because Bokuto would accidentally blab and give him up, probably during a livestream. (She reprimanded them a lot, but really, it was him and Bokuto keeping the publicist employed.)
“I need yer help catching a pest. Want to take a walk with me?”
2. Bait the trap.
Atsumu stops abruptly at the crossroads. He snaps his head toward the convex mirror on the corner just in time to see a nondescript man, with a baseball cap pulled low over his face, ducking into the small general store just behind them. It’s quick— the doors are already propped open since it’s not quite warm enough to justify running the air conditioning.
Perfect.
Hinata nudges his elbow. “Why did we stop? Do you want something to drink?”
Atsumu takes a deep breath. “Do ya trust me, Shoyo?”
He looks perplexed at the question. It’s not an expression that’s often on Hinata’s face, so Atsumu takes a moment to appreciate the novelty.
Of course, it’s gone in a second; replaced with his natural enthusiasm. “Oh, did you want to practice at the park? I see, you wanted to bring me to a different environment because our rapport on the court was—”
Atsumu claps his hands over Hinata’s shoulders, lowering his voice. “If ya trust me, do exactly as I say. Go to the park. Got it? Do not follow me. Go straight to the park.”
“Aren’t you coming with—”
Atsumu fills his lungs with air, and firmly plants his feet on the ground.
(A quick glance in the mirror at the man with the baseball cap. Still there. Good.)
Forgive me, Shoyo.
“GOOD LUCK ON THE DATE!” he says as loudly as he can, before it's shouting.
Hinata goes red, sputtering. “Huh? Date?”
Atsumu claps his shoulders again, and gives him a subtle push. Hinata, still wide-eyed, stumbles along in the direction of the park, glancing back over his shoulder a few times.
3. Wait.
Atsumu jogs the long way around the block to get to the park.
It only takes five minutes of lurking behind a row of vending machines, and feeling a little sorry for Hinata who’s sort of nervously wringing his hands on a bench— he's the only other person in the park at this time on a school day— before the man in the baseball cap shows up.
A camera is slung casually around his neck. The recording light is taped over. He’s so fixated on Hinata, he doesn’t notice Atsumu as he saunters up the path towards the machines.
(Which, all things considered, was quite surprising— Atsumu is not a small man.)
“Hey,” Atsumu says, once Baseball Cap is close enough. “Long time, huh? Two things. One, give me your camera. I know it's recording. And two, I have a few questions.”
4. Dispose of your paparazzi responsibly and ethically.
Fifteen minutes later, Atsumu is no closer to the truth; and is considerably more irritated.
“What am I supposed ta do with that?”
“Is he going to hit me?” Baseball Cap anxiously asks Hinata, “Can you hold my camera if he’s going to hit me?”
“Atsumu wouldn’t hurt anyone,” Hinata assures him.
“I ain’t gonna hit ya, ya scrub! Don’t you go writin’ that up on yer damn blog next.” He pinches his nose, trying to calm himself. “I’m done with ya, go home. But wipe the memory card in front of me first.”

UPDATE: I want to ask out my twin brother's girlfriend.
I didn’t want to come back here again, but I don’t know what to do.
Like one of you suggested, I asked the guy who took the picture. You were right. He's been following them.
(Creepy as hell, to be honest, but he didn't seem like a bad dude. And he was pretty skinny. Guess being a privacy invading douche doesn't pay well. I think even my female colleague could take him down if she tried, so that's fine.)
What he told me is this: she stayed overnight at his place twice this week.
Now I know what you're thinking. It's a lost cause. Pack it up and move along. Right?
No.
Here's the thing— I was worried my brother was developing feelings for her, and I still am, but if they were already sleeping together he would have told me. There's something else going on here. I mean on top of the fake dating bullshit.
And for some reason, they're not telling me.
How do I find out what without telling them how I know?

maybe you should go over to your brother's apartment and see if there's any evidence.and you should just show up. don't give him any time to clean it. you can do that right???

Osamu frowns at the cloudy night sky as he pulls the shutters down over Onigiri Miya's window. The moon is hidden, only a hazy hint behind the grey.
"Looks like rain," he comments, glancing over his shoulder. "Sorry I kept ya waitin'. We should've just done it another night."
Behind him, standing under the streetlight, you can already feel the tiny droplets drizzling on your face. But you shake your head. "I can just stay over again. We always end up losing track of time, and your place is closer to work than mine anyway."
The lock in Osamu's hand clatters against the corrugated metal. "Want ta move in and really sell it?"
You roll your eyes. "I would, but we're not a good match. We'd feed each other too much and end up gaining so much weight."
He chuckles. "Hey, at least I can appreciate raisin bran cookies. Ya won't catch me spittin' food outta my mouth."
You laugh at that. It wasn't his fault, you want to say, smiling fondly at the memory. He didn't realise I was joking about it being chocolate chip.
"Hey, Osamu?"
"Yeah?"
"Should we just tell him?"

20 Steps to Puppy-Proof Your Home!
Are you a victim of puppy love? You’re not alone! Puppies are adorable and bring out our playfulness. They keep us active and can grow to be loyal friends. But along with the joys of adopting a puppy comes with the inevitable wear and tear on your home, and – even more importantly – a great responsibility to keep these babies safe. Here are 20 ways to puppy-proof your home for their safety and your sanity.
Tumblr media
Choose your veterinarian before you even bring your puppy home. Keep your regular vet and emergency vet’s contact information in an obvious place. Make sure your entire family and any pet sitters know where this list is.
Look at your house from your puppy’s perspective, literally, and figuratively. Your curious, inquisitive new friend sees things differently than you do. Get down on your hands and knees in every room to see what might attract them. Think like a puppy during this exercise!
Tumblr media
Create a safe space for your pup. Crate training can give them a confined place to relax and retreat from overstimulation. Just like human babies, your canine baby needs to sleep!
Young puppies should be supervised when not in a crate. If you have to leave your puppy alone, make sure they have a secured space that contains appropriate toys, a little water, a comfortable area for resting, and a potty area.
Consider installing childproof locks and pet monitor cameras. Remember, your puppy is truly a baby/toddler.
Install baby gates for rooms that you just don’t want your puppy to have access to.
Keep trash secure and out of the way. The enticing smells wafting from your garbage are a puppy magnet. Your puppy could cause a disgusting mess by tearing your trash apart, and worse – they could ingest hazardous materials.
Keep them away from filled bathtubs which can be a drowning hazard until your puppy has learned to swim. Even toilets can be dangerous. Keep toilet lids down.
Hide things that you don’t want sharp puppy teeth to chew: cords, medicines, houseplants, chemicals, pest poisons, batteries, trash, detergent pods – even sugarless gum and chocolate can cause injury, illness, or death for your dog.
Here’s a partial list of the most common foods that can make dogs sick (vomiting, diarrhea, seizures) and in some cases can be fatally toxic:
Alcohol
Apricots, Balsam pears and Japanese plums
Avocados
Bacon
Chocolate
Coffee and tea
Cooked bones
Foods high in fat, sugar, or salt
Grapes and Raisins
Human vitamin supplements containing iron
Milk and dairy
Moldy food and yeast dough
Nuts – almonds and macadamia
Onions
Raw eggs and fish
Rhubarb and spinach
Tobacco products are also toxic, including gum and nicotine patches.
Tomato and potato leaves and stems
Certain houseplants are also toxic. Here’s a partial list of common houseplants that can sicken or kill your puppy:
Azalea
Calla Lily (also Peace and Palm lilies)
Asparagus (a.k.a. Emerald Feather, Lace Fern, Sprengeri Fern, Plumosa Fern)
Elephant Ear
Aloe Vera
Ivy
Sowbread (Cyclamen)
Dieffenbachia (sometimes known as Dumb Cane)
Jade (also called Rubber Plant and Friendship Tree)
Poinsettia
Philodendron
Tumblr media
Never allow your puppy to be outside unsupervised.
Inspect your flora and fauna and research what might be poisonous for puppies. Some common culprits include:
Aconite
Belladonna
Buttercups
Chrysanthemum
Creeping Charlie
Daffodils
Delphinium
Elderberry
Foxglove
Gardenias
Hibiscus
Hyacinth
Hydrangea
Lily of the Valley
Marigolds
Oak
Oleander
Peonies
Philodendron
Poison ivy
Poison oak
Primroses
Rhododendron/Azaleas
Rhubarb
Sago Palm
Stinging nettle
Tomato
Tulips
White clover
Wisteria
Yew
Make sure pools are fenced in. Even baby pools and uncovered jacuzzis are hazardous.
Mow and maintain your yard. Tics are more likely to live in tall grass. Remember, if maintaining your yard means using fertilizers and pesticides, this could be unhealthy – especially after a recent treatment.
Watch out for temperature extremes – cold or hot – and weather events.
Be on the lookout for animal predators.
Tumblr media
Protecting your little canine guy or gal is paramount, but protecting your house from your puppy will create a more harmonious living environment. You don’t want to be constantly yelling at your dog – and they sure don’t want that either! Here are some ways to create a more durable home environment:
Install pet-friendly finishes and fabrics
Floors:
Ceramic or porcelain tile are scratch-resistant and nonporous (think puppy potty-training accidents), but make sure to apply a sealer twice a year to the grout – which can be more absorbent.
If you like wood, factory-finished floors weather better than true hardwood. Luxury vinyl planks are even hardier.
If you have wall-to-wall carpeting, buy some synthetic fabric rugs to use over these, at least during the potty training phase. Indoor-outdoor rugs are great because they are designed to be stain and odor proof. Low-pile wool rugs are also fairly wear-proof since they are naturally water-resistant and should be relatively easy to spot-clean.
Upholstery:
Fabric upholstery can be protected with a layer of Scotchgard, but adding a washable slipcover is your best bet. Removable cushions that can be routinely thrown in the wash are a good option, or simply drape a pet blanket over your couches and chairs.
Ultrasuede (a synthetic form of suede) is designed to be stain resistant and moderately resistant to scratch marks. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning.
Leather doesn’t tend to absorb pet smells and is easy to clean, but can scratch easily. You might want to consider a distressed leather so that the wear from puppy claws won’t be as noticeable.
Tumblr media
Create a specific area for pet bowls. A built-in area will not only keep the room tidier, but it will prevent you from tripping over bowls and spilling food and water everywhere.
Revisit this list and re-evaluate your home periodically – even when your puppy becomes an adult dog!

Discover the Sweet Side of Health: Why Jaggery is Your Best Sugar Alternative
Tumblr media
Sweet tooth…most of us are guilty of having, and more than often we all try to avoid satisfying the cravings for sweets as refined sugar has been associated with many health problems, especially related to blood and body weight. And to make the choice for healthier edible products even more difficult, we have too many “good alternatives” present in the market. We all have been guilty of buying those sugarless cookies, planning to make healthier choices, but not actually enjoying and eventually turning back to our original choice.
But before we stigmatise sugar, lets acknowledge that sugar is very important ingredient of our diet, as it helps us produce the energy required to work. What is dangerous to our health, is actually the shiny crystallised modern sugar (refined sugar). This refined sugar is produced after chemical processing, lossing the nutrients present in the raw ingredients.
Worry not, all hope is still not lost for all the sugar lovers around the world as unrefined sugar is still present in those grocery store aisles and in most the kitchens of our Indian grandmothers, it just that its called jaggery / gur. Jaggery is just not an alternative for refined sugar, but has many additional health benefits, which have found mention in the ayurvedic texts, dating back to over 5000 years. This final product is produced without any complex chemical processes and has the nutrients such as calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, B-complex vitamin, iron, etc. present in it at concentrated levels from the raw ingredients. That dream of healthier life choices, especially to reduce the sugar content from the diet can be achieved by just replacing the refined sugar with jaggery in our foods. This change is without compromising on the taste of our morning / evening chai and mithais.
Regulates blood sugar
Jaggery is complex sugar and therefore takes longer to break and get absorbed by blood, preventing the sudden surge in blood sugar as compared to the refined sugar.
Cleansing of the internal body systems
The composition of jaggery helps in pulling out dust and unwanted particles from the body thus is an important ingredient of many concoctions for sickness related to lung, throat, respiratory tract and food pipe.
Strengthening of mental and physical health
Jaggery is rich in important minerals like salts, magnesium which strengthen our nervous system and help to relax the muscles.
Improves digestion
Jaggery is rich in fibre and therefore helps with constipation, and also activates the digestive enzymes, changing itself to acetic acid, which helps to speed up the digestion.
After reading such benefits, we all would be wanting to buy jaggery, but don’t get lost in that grocery aisle again, as there are many options available for jaggery too. Therefore while buying one should buy the jaggery which is brown in colour and pure jaggery completely dissolves in water leaving behind adulterated substances in the pot. Jaivic’s jaggery is one of the best organic option available in the market. It provides you with all the health benefits while not compromising on the taste.

7 Easy Tips For Better Oral Hygiene
Self-esteem, confidence, and general wellness all depend on good oral health. Bacteria can enter a person's bloodstream because of severe gum disease, which may then result in organ infection. Read these 7 suggestions for excellent dental hygiene.
Use A Tongue Scraper
A layer of food particles is usually found on the tongue and cannot be completely removed with a brush. A tongue scraper is a great way to clean the tongue. Start cleaning at the back of your tongue, then pull your way to the front of the tongue.
Change Your Brush
You may easily get rid of bacteria from your tongue by using your toothbrush as a tool. Every two to three months, you should replace your toothbrush.
Avoid Sugary Drinks
Avoid drinking soda, red wine, tea, and coffee. Similar to smoking, these beverages can discolour and weaken teeth. If you can't avoid them, clean your teeth right away or rinse your mouth out after consuming them.
Natural Gargles and an Alternative Cleaning Agent
Apple cider has antibacterial characteristics in addition to helping to eliminate stains and whiten teeth. When brushing your teeth in the morning or evening, gargle with apple cider. When applied once per week, baking soda can get rid of discoloration. If your gums start to feel too sensitive, you can switch to salt. It can be used as powdered toothpaste.
Use Alcohol Free Mouthwashes
Alcohol-based antiseptic mouthwashes cause mouth drying. A dry mouth is an ideal environment for the growth of bacteria and decay. Consider chewing on sugarless gum if you already experience dry mouth as a side effect from taking a medication. This will increase saliva production for a healthy mouth.
Eat Fruits & Vegetables
It may be beneficial for your health and teeth to eat a diet rich in fruits and vegetables. Crunchy, raw fruits and vegetables can aid in rubbing plaque away while you chew, though they shouldn't be used as a replacement for brushing. Two foods that have been suggested to aid in tooth whitening are strawberries and pineapple.
Make Flossing A Habit
Have additional floss handy for use after meals or snacks by keeping it in your backpack, car, or workplace. It's never a nice thing to have food stuck between your teeth for a long time.

Handle your Dental Emergency with Simple yet Effective Tips
“To be patient in an emergency is a terrible trial”, dental emergencies may occur anytime. It can possible you bite into a cherry and suddenly find a hole inside it, or someone punches on your mouth or while playing sports you get hit by a ball or anything on your mouth. Several ways can injury your teeth and your dental work, thus emergency dental problems happen unexpectedly and quickly.
A dental emergency can be a serious issue which you can’t ignore. Such emergencies will not get better on their own. With every passing day, oral issues will only get worse and become more painful. By putting off your emergency dental treatment you can do permanent damage to your teeth. Additionally, a neglected dental emergency can cause infection and abscesses can spread to other parts of your body.
Mostly emergencies happen in the evenings, on weekends or while you are not in town.  As soon as you have a problem, call your dentist to take emergency dental services or immediate guidance if you are out of town.
Until you don’t get an appointment, you can follow these emergency dental tips to protect your mouth from further damage and to relieve your pain.
Permanent Tooth Lost
If your tooth is knocked out, try to find out. Sometimes dentists repair the tooth almost perfectly so handle it carefully and avoid touching the root area. Gently rinse it with water to remove dirt without scrubbing or removing any attached tissue. Keep that tooth in a small container of salt water or milk and try to reach your dentist within an hour of your accident for the best successful result.
If partially your tooth is knocked out then as early as possible reach the dentist. If you are in pain then outside of your mouth hold a cold compress. You can also take pain medication in case of unbearable pain. Avoid wiggling or bumping your tooth, just leave it alone.
A Broken or Chipped Tooth
If your tooth is clipped then it may be a minor problem. But if the chip or crack goes deep down to the tooth, you may have damage to the tooth dentine, pulp or enamel. If your mouth is bleeding, rinse your mouth with warm water and clean it with a piece of gauze. For advice immediately call your dentist.
Lost Filling
If the part of your interior tooth is exposed due to fallen filling, put a pack of a small bar of sugarless gum into the cavity where you had the filling. For such emergencies, some stores sell temporary filling material but these are for short temporary space and time until you can get your dentist appointment.
Losing a Crown
Firstly keep the track of the crown. In some cases, the teeth can re-cement when you go to the dentist. If the tooth is hurting, you can take counter pain medication to ease your discomfort.
Toothache
In case of toothache, thoroughly and gently clean the whole area. It may be possible something lodged between gums or tooth and is causing pain. Gently floss and rinse your mouth with a mild salt-water solution to prevent infection. To reduce swelling you can also use a cold compress. If your pain is still not resolved then consult with your dentist immediately.
Abscesses
The infection-filled pockets that emerge in soft tissue are called abscesses. They can emerge in the gums or around the root of the tooth. They can grow quickly and become highly painful, even the infection finds a path to drain into the mouth.  Infection may present as an asymptomatic pimple in the gums and once in a while, it will generate a metallic taste. As soon as you suspect the possibility of having abscessed instantly contact your dentist. Until you get your appointment you can rinse your mouth with a salt-water solution.
Orthodontia Broken
In case you have a bracket or a wire on your teeth, but due to some reason either they are break or move out of place, you can utilize orthodontic wax. It will help in mouth cushioning and gums on the rough edges.  As soon as possible, contact your orthodontist to get it repaired.
Swelling, Bruises and Cuts
Inside your mouth, if you have injuries to soft tissues or maybe bleeding arise. In such a situation gently rinse your mouth with salt water to reduce infection in your cut and aid healing. To control swelling and bleeding you can also hold a cool compress up to your cheek in the injured area. Even after 20 minutes, your bleeding doesn’t stop then you should contact your dentist or emergency dentist at Paragon Dental.
If you are unsure about the level of your dental injuries or looking for an Emergency Dentist Modesto, you can call Paragon Dental to avail Emergency Dental Services.
