I’m not a fan of modern/au fics, I prefer canon divergence/fix it fics/canon compliant but (don’t judge) I just had this really strong desire to read a merthur fic in modern times where merlin was arthur’s sugar baby. Not like explicit or sexual, but just merlin getting spoiled by billionaire arthur pendragon while uther seethes in the background. Not all of these details are necessary but why the fuck couldn’t I find anything?? Is there a severe lack of sugar daddy arthur in this fandom or did I just miss that category horribly while browsing ao3???????
