it's so funny how da2 is widely considered to be the disgrace of da games and was also made like in a year or something but it still managed to create one of the most popular characters in the franchise. varric literally became da's in-game official narrator. anders has a wikipedia page with a controversy part highlighted. everyone is talking about solas now and for a good reason but his importance to the lore & plot is literally off the charts and he's also a god. fenris made people go crazy like that while being just a guy from a side optional quest you can accidentally skip

it’s wild to me that like every modern adaptation of Sherlock Holmes (and by modern I mean “made recently” not “set in modern times”) is like Hell Bent on coming up with a Reason™️ that Watson stays with Holmes and trots around with him on adventures all the time despite the inconvenience and the danger and all, and so it’s like “oh, Watson’s a gambling addict, he loves uncertainty and mystery” or “oh, Watson’s an adrenaline junkie, he gets off on being constantly in danger from criminals” or even like “Watson’s atoning for sins of the past of BEING IN THE WAR by solving crimes with Holmes now” or WHATEVER. And it’s like, girl, maybe he’s just in love! Did you think of that?? Maybe he’s got a crush and it’s making him do stupid things. Maybe he’s just got bad taste and his type is guys who don’t know how to refold newspapers properly but can identify different types of cigar ash by sight, smell, and taste. And wrote a monograph on the subject. Maybe he’s down bad is all. I mean, Keep is simple, stupid!!!

Hello! This is my propaganda post for every Cold in the @voice-of-the-sexyman tournament!

If you have not voted, you can do it right here, under the "#tournament voting" tag, you should be able to see all the rounds and vote for all the different Colds!!! Okay now that I've sufficiently advertised the tournament, here's my usual Everest ramble (apologies if it makes 0 sense, it's almost 6 am as I'm writing this):

When all the contestants were first announced for the tournament, I wanted to make a group photo with all the Colds, similar to the Hero one I did for New Years. But then I got distracted and kind of intimidated by the idea, and went "Well, I guess not this time."

Turns out all I needed for an inspiration push is for someone else to make some wonderful propaganda, and so here we are! This drawing is also why I asked everyone in the tourmament about the heights of their Colds, just so I could roughly place them! I tried my best to stick to the heights that were given to me, but a bunch definitely ended up shifting and growing/shrinking as I was changing the composition. So, uh, sorry about that!

And also sorry if I made mistakes in drawing any of your Cold designs, I really wanted to finish it as early in the voting week as possible, so I just spent 6 hours almost-straight drawing this! So there are most definitely some mistakes </3

But that aside! This tournament has been very fun already, everyone's Colds are absolutely wonderful, and they've been super fun to draw! In my eyes, they're all winners and all the sexymen (gender neutral) <3

[ID: A three page comic featuring the peak lords from Scum Villain, all afflicted by a truth serum.

Page one: Shang Qinghua is in the midst of rambling and waving his hand around, "It's not my fault you're all fictional, except that it is & I hate everything. My life is a whole lot of nothing." all while thinking "WTF, Mu Qingfang's so chill?" In the next panel, they are seen to be noting something down with a nonchalant "I see." In the third panel, Shang Qinghua leans forward from the medical bed and jokes, "I'm pretty weird, huh Shibiao?" to which Mu Qingfang glances behind themself and says, "Not particularly. Even I forget the world is not my own experiment—" before cutting themself off. A small panel cut into their dialogue box has arrows pointing at them, a chibi version with a large sweat drop, indicating they did not mean to say that. In the fifth panel, Shang Qinghua also sweats and comments "Mu-yishi's so scary," which turns into a giant arrow that strikes Mu Qingfang on the head while they attempt to clear their throat and distract from their prior comment.

Page two: Mu Qingfang leans into Shang Qinghua conspiratorially, holding their notes up close as they admit, "In any case, we aren't the only ones disillusioned." Shang Qinghua gives a confused smile, following Mu Qingfang's thought bubbles with the other peak lords. It begins with Shen Qingqiu, who indignantly insists "I may as well be dead, for all the difference it makes." from behind his fan. Then, Yue Qingyuan (as hosted by Xuan Su) muses "Mu Qingfang must know 'this one' is not who you seek, hm?" In response, Shang Qinghua nervously laughs "How ominous, Zhangmen…" while Mu Qingfang replies simply "Indeed."

Page three: Wei Qingwei grins as he considers a question off-screen, "Hmmm… I suppose I've never felt alive? So who knows!" It then shifts over to chibi versions of Wei Qingwei and Mu Qingfang, who looks up at him pitifully. Wei Qingwei holds his hands up and insists "Ahhh, I'm okay! Really! Don't be upset Qingfang-tongzhi…" Then, it shows Qi Qingqi, who folds her arms and sighs, "I only wish we could cultivate past sleeping—I am so done with feeling as though I'm sleep-walking." The thought bubble ends, revealing Shang Qinghua with his hands steepled as he anxiously mutters, "My children are really messed up. Did I do this? No…" Mu Qingfang suddenly looks to him bewildered, bringing their notes up as they question "Your what." END ID.]

shadow revival fic where shadow gets revived by dink to help him out, but betrays dink and dink is about to kill him in some way (breaking his power source/mirror? idk) right in front of four/the other links when four gets himself out of someone's (Wars? Time? Twi?) protective grip (they grabbed him/pushed him back because holy shit that's his shadow, his safety has to be priority numero uno) and barrels straight into shadow, shoving them both out of the way and tumbling on the floor. while the other links are taking care of dink, four is clutching shadow like he'll disappear if he loosens up, burying his face into shadow's chest, rocking back and forth and muttering "no, no, no, please, stay this time, you have to stay, you can't leave, you can't leave me again, please don't leave, just stay, stay with me" or something along those lines and shadow's quietly panicking because holy shit it's rainbow and he's having a panic attack/ptsd from the last time i died in his arms whoops but he's trying to reassure him/snap him out of it

anyway. i have Thoughts often. i think they're pretty silly little guys.

Definitely connections and reputation! This man thrives off of knowing everything about everyone at any moment, and he needs his good standings with everyone else to be privy to the newest drama on the block

Puddle doesn't have any grand ambitions to be honest. He just wants to hang out and be a bit too nosy. In fact, he might already be living his dream just by virtue of being around a large group of people who have tons of interpersonal drama to angst about all the time lol

😸: 3 fun facts!

- The reason he squints all the time is just that his eyes are really sensitive to light! He has a similar gene to that of the Topaz cat, which depigments the eyes specifically. That's also why they're such a pale blue and the pupils are all pink-ish! I imagine he probably has some level of visual impairment due to how intense the light sensitivity is, and his habit of squinting isn't helping that either

- He actually wasn't planning on staying in SporeClan long and really just came here to check the situation out. But after a while he decided he enjoyed it here so much that he settled down for the long haul!

- While, yes, he DOES enjoy himself some good ol people watching, a good amount of what his clanmates perceive as him staring at or watching them is honestly just him zoning out so unbelievably hard. Most of what he learns about others is by conversation, not actually by witnessing

💤: Are they a heavy or light sleeper? What are their dreams like?

Very, very light sleeper! In fact, so light of a sleeper that he can't fall asleep around loud sleepers. This leads to him being regularly found sleeping in hard to access and oddly out of the way places around camp by his clanmates

As for his dreams - I don't know! I feel like he'd probably be one of those people who just don't dream, or at least don't recall their dreams

🐁: Favourite prey?

I think he'd really enjoy pheasant! It's kind of a rare treat and he gets to enjoy it with multiple clanmates

🕸: What does their family tree look like?

It's nothing really special :') He was born a single kit to town cats, either strays, kittypets or either or. He doesn't really talk with or about them. Good luck getting any information about them at all out of him though lol he's a man with a death grip on his secrets no matter how trivial they are!

🧹: Favourite and least favourite clan task/chore/patrol?

He would probably really enjoy changing out the bedding in the dens! He gets to eavesdrop and stay in dim, temperate conditions. What's not to love?

Now he isn't really one to complain, and he's generally happy so long as he has some form of company. So I think his least favourite activity would probably be something like hunting alone? Especially during winter where it's cold, it's bright and the prey is scarce.

So he’s convinced that Iruka is some kind of god for wrangling 17 half-feral children (and Naruto) into real human beings who can read and write and use chopsticks and deadly weapons. Yes, clan children probably learn a bit before, but still.

Kakashi: can’t believe you taught them almost everything they know

Iruka: I didn’t??

Kakashi: I watched you turn 18 hellions into mostly functional members of society

Iruka: most of my kids were well behaved

Kakashi: they absolutely were not, I once saw baby Shino bite Chouji and Hinata took out Gai’s kneecaps because he stood still long enough for her to catch him
