Alright. We've had a lot of time since Episode 11 released. So, Subway Surfers fandom...

Theory about Frank from “Subway Surfers”

Frank might be a time traveler from the future because the logo of the secret company who works for is an hourglass and he seems to use some kind of modern technology like the key which opened a portal. He might be also a cyborg because his eyes seem to be some how not only a part of his bunny mask. Frank can make his pupils smaller and it seems to me that he is never blink and also the fact, that his red eyes looking very robotic at all. Also, how fast he runs and his badass walk through the active trains.

At first I thought it could be Jake from the future who traveled to the past to prohibit something bad or it might be Jake’s older brother (if he has one, maybe he is lost?). But it seems to me that Frank might be not the main anatgonist at all. Maybe in the beginning but he could change and become one of the Subway Surfers.

Anyways, the last scene of ep 11 showed us that Frank was trying to open portal and reach a train which he couldn’t in the end because of the graffity spraying that ruined the whole process. It seemed like he did become angry and put Jake on “The List” on his cellphone where other names were crossed out.

I mean the way he reached out to the train - I can imagine that his mouth was open and his whole expression was a shock or despair but then changed as he made a fist to an angry again, also as he saw Jake and knew that it was his graffity:

Maybe Frank wants to return to his dimension or time and the conditon is to reach a train that under goes a special portal which nearly worked out OR he was trying to do something against the Subway Surfers.

Frank seems to be a very interesting character with no background information yet and very mysterious appearence and behaviour.

I do hope we might see some future episodes and more lore about Frank like his past and some voice lines. And yeah, a face reveal and general information.

just a small thing I thought of-- as my dumba** lays in bed, trying to sleep-- but...

I love how most of the Subway Surfers fandom (my dumb self included), after seeing Frank in his first full appearance in episode 11-- where he’s being mysterious and spooky and literally putting a rebellious teenager on a hit-list of some kind for the crime of ruining his super cool future-ish thing with graffiti art-- collectively think (or at least headcanon) him as secretly being a soft, hopeless romantic, lonely-ass nerd who just wants cuddles......

God I love how weird fandoms can be at times lol ((again, I’m guilty of this too, I’m not throwing shade, I swear!))

subway surfers is actually such a good game. like, there are a LOT of shitty idle games but this is not one of them.

Okay get ready for a chain of possibly long ass texts cause the first time I tried to do it I lost the whole thing and I avoided rewriting it for almost two months.

The earliest moment of the story we have so far is in episode 1. The Surfer's conversation foreshadow the future of the show (especially Yutani explaining the science behind Infinity technology) and finds the Infinity turbine.

The next episode we can possibly connect to the timeline is far ahead in episode 7. Yutani turns the Infinity turbine into the hoverboard and shows it to Jake, Tricky and Fresh. Jake tries and falls off the hoverboard and it is revealed that Frank has been following them (we don't know how much time has passed between ep1 and ep7 so we don't know for how long he's been assigned to monitor them).

The next two episodes the most obvious: episode 7, 10 and 11 are happening one right after the other. For instance we can see Jake falling off the hoverboard (and Frank watching) through one Guard's monitor screens.

Episode 10 is a crucial part because it's the moment Jake comes up with the idea of the Subway Surfers.

Jake draws the new team's graffiti and runs away from Guard, reflecting the iconic scene from the original game. This connects and puts episode 11 right where we had left off.

Guard loses track of Jake, accidentally starts following Frank instead, yadda yadda yadda. Frank fails his mission and misses the Infinity Train (if you pause at the right time you can see it actually is a train I thought it was a nice detail)

Jake then gets caught by Guard and to get taken to his mother, connecting all the way back to episode 2. This is also evidenced by what Jake says, "It was my first time in a hoverboard"

Now this had been bugging me for a while now because I noticed Jake sends a message to Fresh, Tani and Tricky that morning saying "Look, forget the yard, meet me at Mully's. I'm starving!" And we know "I'm starving" is basically Jake's catchphrase but I thought these two times he's said it could be the same one, meaning that episode 2 and 9 are happening at the same time. It would explain why Fresh was worried about losing Boomy after what Tricky's "gross wallpaper" speech the night before.

I wasn't really sure to put these two episodes together until episode 11 came out because we have this

We see a news report of the Infinity Train, basically confirming it is the same morning as Jake when he first tried the hoverboard.

From this point on I'm not really sure about when the rest of the episodes are, but there is the other arc of episode 3, 6 and 5 happening at the same day (I'll explain in a different post but for now there's this arc)

Theory: Jake’s & Frank’s relationship -Part I

What if Frank is the son of Jake from the future but he doesn’t know because he never saw him or something bad happened to Jake in the future, so they never meet as father & son. Now in the present day. Frank might be trying to find a portal back to his time or he is trying to hinder that ‘something bad that happened to Jake’ aka his unknown father.

I mean, they both have almost the same hair colour (reddish brown hair) though their eyes might be different (Frank having cyborg like eyes, so maybe he is one?) and their height (Frank being very tall and Jake being a bit shorter, but he might grow yet) and their age (Frank being in his early twenties and Jake about 15 or 16 y/o). Maybe Frank resembles his mother more ...

However, Jake’s graffity ruined Frank’s unknown plans and he became quiet angry (his eyes went small) and he put Jake on a list of other names which were crossed. So, he might do not know that it’s own father ruined his ambitious plan which means that the fate wants both to meet through an another way which Frank can’t think of at first or for Jake ... Well, this could be a very funny situation, wouldn’t it?

I do hope we’ll see some new episodes which can explain the whole mystery about Frank and luckily he will become a good one.

Still doesn’t explain why Frank was seen to be happy at first and then became more serious (his eyes weren’t cute anymore in ep 11):

The game is taking place in the future or better to say, the game is after the show (timeline), so Frank will become a member of the Subway Surfers in the end ^^
