Damn it im trying to start a ramble but i cant really form anything much. (later note here, i managed it. I am so sorry for anyone thats come across this in the tags (they're there for my organisation), ive kinda made it a mess to put on any blog cuz of all the contradicting stuff) Like i've got "mmm i like Knuckles, he's best boy". But it feels like any headcanons or au ideas i could talk about are out of reach on my own. Again its like a fog, i know they're there but i just cant reach them. Subnautica 2 got a trailer and again its like i cant grab any thoughts on it. Like I love subnautica, never actually finished it, but i adore this game, its vibes its world the creatures

hmmm I just finished binge watching every single episode of Viva la Dirt League's bored series, did that over the last few days, saw its evolution and how stunningly high the production value got, how certain jokes were more/less common than i thought.

You know there's actually a reference to Baelin from their epic npc man series in one of my fics. In chapter 16 of 'No child should have to inherit a war' i have big say “morning, it’s a nice day for fishing, isn’t it?" a pretty close match to Baelin's "Morning! Nice day for fishing ain't it? Hua hah!" Alas no one ever got the reference. Okay, i got some Knuckles thoughts. Like in a generic fantasy rpg style world it would be so easy to put knux in a fighter/warrior/brawler type class. He likes to hit hard and get up in the heat of the fight. But i adore his more quiet moments so much. He likes to help out the animals of his islands, he's a protector who cares so much and is always jumping to help strangers, enemies and friends alike. (even if he still tries to play the stoic role) But what would be absolutely hilarious in my opinion is if he was an incredibly powerful sorcerer/mage/wizard. (in reference to how powerful he is due to the m.e connection) and he's hyped up as this powerful and dangerous magic user,

only for him to punch you in the face when you go to fight him.

Oh he'll use his magic (and m.e powers in canon also apply here) to look after the place he protects, but he's not a fan of using it in combat. Both cuz its not his style, he prefers a direct, get it done style and cuz he feels its not his place that his power is not to be used in an offensive manor.

and throw in some healing powers of course cuz i will forever love Knuckles as a healer who will tell you off for being stupid and will huff and deny he's worried. (Platonic tsunderes hold a place in my heart)

Cuz yeah, caring is a major part of who knuckles is.

And back to bored, cuz Knuckles being the type to care reminds me of Rowan (the character) being such an opposite and a terrible boss. Cuz man Ben and Rowan and SO good at playing hateable characters. Like Bens character in Bored is the culmination of all the most frustrating and OUTRAGEOUS customers. He does such a good job that i get excited when he plays a less punch able character.

Like Charles, sure he's a mugger, but he's literally just following his programming. But he's also one of the npcs whos kinda able to break out of it. (but is very easily reset).

hmmm the string of thought is kinda knotting up a bit. Like i got a little more about subnautica and how i really wanted to do a thing about Knuckles bonding with the sea emperor leviathan over being the last, but idk how to write the sea emperor so it hasn't really gotten anywhere. hmmm now what... I definitely want to keep rambling (its working and i feel better) but idk what to say now.

Hello!!! I love AM!!!! I have no mouth and i must scream actually introduced me to a bunch of new media and characters that i love like Edgar from electric dreams, hall 9000 from space odyssey and Wheatley from portal 2 (I'm a sucker for companion ai, it was heartbreaking when I found out the voice for Subnautica below zero's PDA was different from the original, Al ANs pretty cool, not really an ai but close enough, I haven't really played enough below zero to get too attached).

(Don't know where to put this because I knew about them before I read IHNMAIMS but I'm a big fan of vintage 8's Oracle / Prophet! If you like Hall 9000 you might like them too! Vintage 8 has a bunch of smaller stories / args that are all a part of the same connected universe! The Oracle is in the Tangi virus (set up)-> The oracle (actually in it) -> Sinkhole) (there is a 'lore' summary / 'analysis' video on the Tangi Virus and Oracle but you'll have to watch Sinkhole on your own ^^) But enough of them ouuuugh AM is such a neat character oml like the body horror aspect of the entire earth being covered by him, his wires, his organs. To have the last members of humanity swallowed inside of his belly is so ouuggggh. I think living dungeons / buildings in general as a concept is so so cool and goes unbelievable hard. Fear and hunger also does that too and my god oml funger lore goes so hard. 'This house has people in it' does that as well I believe(?) though it's been a while since I last watched it AM's Ego, ID and Super ego from the game are really really interesting and I've never really seen anything like it, its an absolute shame they were never expanded on and are treated more like a fetch quest then anything else. AM's mindscape in general is so so pretty, I absolutely adore the mix of 'gory' imagry through the brain like terrain mixed with wire and computer components. The background work and landscapes in IHMNAIMS's game and comic in general are so gorgeous in such a bleak way. So gritty and visceral without a speck of blood in sight (usually) I think it's really cool that AM's always voiced by Harlan Ellison and his mannerisms and speech patterns especially in the games come off as him spiralling deeper and deeper with hard to understand sentance stucture, general unprompted rambling and random shifts in accent and tone. His voice alone is busting with personality, it's incredible The abrahamic imagery of AM appearing as a burning bush to Ted is pretty interesting since it can come off as either AM seeing himself as god over the remaining humans (because AM is able to warp people's view on reality) or doubling down on Ted's views on AM as an oppressive god-like figure through a in your face metaphor. AM's he/him pronouns could also factor into the comparison as the abrahamic god is technically genderless but is referred to with masculine terms (if I'm remembering that right) but it's a bit of a stretch lol (he also sends locusts to Ted to punish him which may also be a abrahamic reference, probably not but the idea is pretty cool) A big part of AM's character is how random and confusing I feel like AM comes off as quite childish at times as well though forcing Nimdok have the name 'Nimdok' because he finds how strange it sounds to be funny and giggling whenever the character yk It's really unique the AM's character is analysed in the short story. It's done so well that it doesn't feel patronising to the reader while elegantly capturing what makes AM AM. It really makes almost everything that I, or anyone else that tries to analyse him, redundant which is so so cool omg Actually, while I'm here I'll shove up a couple of doodle sheets, there are so many drawings of mine that will never see the light of day because I don't have the time to draw them all digitally. Working on a on and off DCA portal au so those designs are pretty rough rn (the character with the bangs and horns is my sona, I really need to make a ref sheet for him kasdkjas

Random Susie hc time

I love Susie and I also love brainrotting over my hcs for her. So for once I will be sharing some of those hcs! Everything is under the cut for ease of access.

First of all, anyone who has followed me longer than 2 seconds will know how much I love my shark Haltmann hc. I don't care that I make him look completely different from canon or tumblr sexymanified, he's a literal loan shark in my heart and I love him. in my verse, Haltmann is a type of alien called 'sonar sharks' that originate from a Subnautica-esque planet covered in 95% water. This planet is Haltmann's home planet and is very technologically advanced despite society being primarily underwater. A lot of sonar sharks live on this planet and are one of the major species there.

Sonar sharks are naturally extremely bulky (I mean look at that guy) and very physically powerful. They are extremely voracious as they have to eat a LOT to keep up their weight and overall health. Not eating enough can make their health and mental state deteriorate rapidly.

Where does Susie come into the picture here? She's Haltmann's daughter but looks almost nothing like him. While I hc her mother was a different species than Haltmann (the same species as the mage sisters, in fact) Susie seemingly possesses none of the natural heftiness that Haltmann has whatsoever.

My hc is that she SHOULD have at least some of the chub Haltmann has - she just never got the chance to develop it properly. Every Kirby fan and their mothers know how her backstory goes, she was whisked away into Another Dimension as a child. In my verse, she was 12 when that happened, at an age where she was only a few years away from putting on more natural weight like her father.

In Another Dimension, she was teleported to a remote location away from any nearby society that could have offered her food - dropped off in the middle of the wilderness essentially. And here she had to fight to survive near constantly - which included fighting for food. It was hard to come by, so she didn't always have a lot of it, and ended up having to ration it the best she could.

Even when she made it back to society in this dimension, most of her time was occupied by working with anyone she could there to find a way home, back to her father.

And we all know how that must've turned out when she finally got home...

So. Working at the HWC, with a PLETHORA of food available, she still rationed her eating out of habit from all her years stuck in the wilderness of a foreign dimension. To add to this, she constantly lived under the stress of the expectations of the dictatorship-like company, as well as anxiety about the plan she was putting into place (her plan to steal Star Dream).

As a result from barely eating during teenhood, a critical time for growing, as well as living under so much stress and repression that she barely ate, Susie has been eating irregularly for over 10 years in my verse. As such, she's very thin for being part sonar shark, as well as rather runty compared to her father.

Luckily, post-Planet Robobot, after working and working to make amends with Dreamland, Susie is able to start healing emotionally in my AU, as well as physically. She starts learning to eat more (with help from Kirby ofc) and slowly but surely, starts putting on her natural weight. This improves her health considerably - she would often get sick a lot, but on the HWC they had systems to combat sickness she would use. Nowadays she doesn't need to worry about that as she doesn't become ill nearly as much. She's considerably less snappy, and her mental attitude about various things has improved for the first time since childhood.

Does she still have trauma and struggle with a lot of shit? YES very much so. but in my verse, she is happier, healthier and healing, which is very important to me for a character like her.

I am going to enforce a rule on myself of only one game per series. In no particular order, and based on how I am right now currently feeling:

1. Pokemon Insurgence - Cringy, edgy, and over-the-top in the best way while also delivering a challenging and genuinely very fun experience. I love the canon Pokemon games, but a good fangame can really bring out the best of the series while catering to longtime fans and Insurgence does just that. My Insurgence team is still the one I remember best out of all of my Pokemon teams. Cannot recommend enough if you can handle a little "i'm twelve and this is deep" writing. It's ridiculously fun.

2. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles - Everything about this game is beautiful and haunting and it fundamentally changed me as a person. The world it creates is one of profound isolation while the characters and themes emphasize the importance of connection and hope. Everything I have ever written carries some of its DNA. It is also a kind of boring hack n' slash dungeon crawler with a lackluster remake and a really annoying difficulty curve in the endgame. i never successfully played it in multiplayer as intended because i did not have any friends. It also made me bisexual.

3. Hades - Extremely fun and challenging with fabulously tactile and energetic gameplay. If you have not played Hades, you really should. Also Megaera is there. 4. Stardew Valley - everything you could want in a farming sim, especially with its excellent mod support. My only issue is: where does everyone poop?? 5. Skyrim - Obviously. if you think skyrim is bad you are kidding yourself. skyrim is the most video game of all time.

6. Dragon Age Inquisition - even more obviously. The apex of the series, though it is far from perfect, especially in its pacing/story construction. Still, Origins has its pacing issues too, and Inquisition has much better/more fun gameplay. I will not argue on this. Block me if you disagree i guess. Bad hair though. 7. Subnautica - Stunningly beautiful and terrifying, even on the goddamn Switch where it barely runs. I put so many hours into it on creative mode that I broke my save and had to send it to the devs to fix. They never did get back to me... 8. Disco Elysium - hnnnnngggggghhhhnggggn it's so good you guys it's sooo good it's so fucking good guys it's soo gooooood

9. Fire Emblem Three Houses - i love these stupid anime kids so much. i love big titty byleth. this game is so bad. i think about it daily. do not play this game 10. Animal Crossing New Horizons - just a lovely little game. being able to customize your entire island is A++++, enough so that i'm willing to forgive how many features it is straight up missing and how bland the dialogue gets.

I’m sure you’ve figured out from my comments that I’m now obsessed with AI BonBon. What made you choose BonBon for the AI? Also (If it’s not spoilers), how long has he been hiding his personality development, and how come he chose to reveal it to Y/N?

I’m still laughing over poor Moon trying to figure out braids. If ever Y/N’s hair came loose in the water and did that whole… fanning out thing, how would the mers react? Would they consider it like a threat display, or be confused?

i'm terrified to write BON-BON bc i don't want him to lose his pizzaz😭 i wanted a snarky figure to bounce off Y/N. the Glamrocks are appearing later so they're out, and i didn't fancy anyone like Mangle or Foxy since i couldn't see their personalities fitting the role. i initially picked Helpy bc he already has a similar kind of role in the games i think, but then i came across a subnautica fic that wrote him in a similar way, and they did it better! (will recc in the notes if i can find it.) so no Helpy. after that i toyed with Dread Unit but he doesn't really have a personality, so then i picked Bon-Bon. he looks like he'd be annoying to listen to, he's hideous, i hc him having a nasal and squawky voice. and him being a bunny fits into a future plan i have, but that's spoilers.

BON-BON began developing awareness years ago, before Y/N even came to the facility. it was a slow process and he spent it learning and flexing the limited reach of his influence in the building. he likes to feign ignorance to mess with people, and he found it funny that Y/N would remain polite while clearly being angry. a few factors influenced him revealing himself, although it was more a slow ramping up than a conscious decision. he has been gradually increasing 'sentient' behaviour to see how they react, and their behaviour isn't threatening in response, which is reassuring. Y/N is asocial and kind of secretive with no strong friendship bonds, so they're unlikely to blab. this is the first time Y/N has been left completely alone in the building, meaning that BON-BON had a semi-captive audience to experiment revealing himself to. Y/N is attentive and kind to the robots by their society's standards without babying them, which is also reassuring. plus BON-BON's becoming so bored and stir-crazy that he's willing to start taking risks to make something happen.

if Y/N's hair was loose in the water, the mermaids would rear back in confusion and caution, but pretty quickly catch on to the fact that there's no need to worry. currently Moon figures that their braids are some kind of tentacles or feelers based on appearance alone, so if they were to unravel he would be put in mind of fuzzy algae or perhaps seaweed. both Moon and Sun would be fascinated by the texture and try to grab and pull it lol😭

i think i went overboard but this was fun😋

Welcome to my blog: Spore Crossed! This is *suposed* to be my art blog, however sometimes I get really anxious and don't post anything for like...years. I'm slowly overcoming that curve, however! And I really hope to post more in the future! (it's a dream I have and hope to complete)

Unfortunately on my part, this is not the greatest attempt at making a 'meet the artist' post, and I feel like it was rushed. However, despite my perfectionist nature, I'll post it anyway!

So, a couple of things I want to establish on my pinned post (my first one hehe) is that I do NOT condone any sort of hatred on my blog. This is my blog and I have the right to block anyone. If I see any racism, homophobia, transphobia, and hate of any kind to myself or anyone else, I will not hesitate to block and report if needs be.

Negativity out of the way, Bonjour! You may call me Mena! As stated in my bio, this is my art blog (along with other things that have inspired me throughout the years). I mostly post about my ocs and my projects I'm working on, and I'm slowly working up the courage to post more content.

Currently I'm working on two projects:

Enigma: my main story I created years ago with help from my good friend @delphi-3. It's a strange story -honestly- where the characters themselves are the representation of phobias (aka: Thalassophobia - fear of the ocean). It was originally supposed to be a small project for myself to help me get through some really tough times in my life, but now I want to create it into a comic series and a physical book. This project goes through some heavy topics, but I try to keep it lighthearted as it's meant for a teenage audience. The main character struggles with his identity as he tries to make sense of the world around him and who he is, all the while there's some darkness lurking under the shadows that he's a puppet of, but not aware. (kinda corny sounding ik but believe me it wouldn't be worth working on it for 4+ years now if it was really bad)

Suneater: this is a project I've been working on myself and I'm not quite sure exactly where it's going. I'm leaning more towards comic or written book if I have the motivation to continue it. It's about aliens and cowboys...more importantly: alien cowboys. It's for a more mature audience that can handle gore and dark themes, and alien cowboys. I don't frequently have a lot of art, but I adore the characters and wish to develop them more. This story is about the main character being 'hollow' and how he's a sacrifice to raise a dead god. And if I didn't say this enough: alien cowboys :D

For both of these stories, as I post the characters, I will also tag their names so if you wish to know more about a certain character you can jump right to them.

Also! Feel free to ask me anything about me or my characters if you have questions! I don't bite, I promise. The only thing I ask is that you aren't too explicit with the asks. It makes me uncomfortable.

➠ last show/movie: I'll admit I've been on a bit of a Sonic Boom kick again. although I also recently got into a few older sitcoms they do on pluto - 227, Roc, stuff like that. I think the last tv show that was new I followed though was Dirk Gently's Hollistic Detective Agency which I seriously recommend as well. have not really been watching movies recently, I think the last one I watched was the Labyrinth or UHF or something.

➠ currently watching: my partner and I have been keeping up on a few lately to watch together: beavis and butthead (the new ones are actually pretty funny), ICarly, been showing my partner Avatar but we're on the last episode now so we've pushed it off a bit, My Hero Academia, The Great North - definitely recommend for fans of Bob's Burgers.

➠ currently reading: just Dracula Daily for the moment since I've got a pretty hefty oceanography textbook to study soon, plus all my to-read books got accidentally put in storage, although I've been trying to get time to check the used bookstore for some new Dirk Gently or at least the last damn series of unfortunate events book since I never got to finish reading that. also trying to get caught up on my favorite webcomic - Lackadaisy.

Got bored and wanted to make my own Wings of Fire Fan-Tribe because why not? These dragons are called BurrowWings, they can burrow through ice by heating up their scales, horns, etc. Heavily inspired by the Ice Worm from Subnautica: Below Zero. Hey Frank, do you play video games? If so, do you have any favourite genres? I'm curious if you have any ideas for video game genre combinations that don't currently exist

I don't play many video games, but I've played a few and some of them have appealed to me, so my top genres are listed below. I'm not an expert in any of these fields, so I could be wrong.

I like all genres I've played in, except for RPGs and turn-based combat-heavy RPGs; I don't think they can be combined successfully with an open-world action game. I was mostly a big fan of PS2 era JRPGs, which I know are kind of a weird niche, so take this as my personal opinion and not anyone else's.

I'm very organized, structured and thorough at work. Colleagues and friends also say that I'm very reliable and don't let people down. I also like to think that I'm fairly chill and friendly/open with just about anyone, though I admit that that can be a bit superficial. 🎮 — favorite video game(s)? Project Zomboid, The Last Of Us games, especially Part 2, Detroit Become Human, RDR2, Subnautica also fun and relaxing games such as ATS or Firewatch, recently played It Takes Two with a friend and also adored that game. I either love storydriven games or post apocalyptic sandbox games. I got almost 1k hours of Project Zomboid lmfao 🍝 — favorite food(s)? It's like each year I got a new favorite boring type of self-made soup as a favorite. Last year it was pumpkin soup, this year it's tomato soup, I LOOOVE all types of green salads and eat like 5 bowls of them a week, sweet potatoes are my latest hype, be that as chips, fries or god knows what else I can make out of them. Also cliché German who loves a great kebab 🎶 — favorite song at the moment? Worst is on its way by Korn, but actually the big remix with HEALTH and the like. I'm usually not really one for hip hop and so forth but this mashup's such a fucking baaaanger and I love how dark it sounds. Stuck on repeat ever since it came out and makes me go feral on the dancefloor at my local goth club haha. Can't believe I've been a Korn fan for over 20 years. 🧶 — any non-writing hobbies/interests? MOVIES, all the movies and tv shows and obv filmmaking, with it being my job. Also reading and listening to podcasts, watching a crapload of documentaries and information videos on youtube about stuff that interests me (morbidly enough that's engineering disasters both in architecture, with airplanes and ships, but also darker psychology stuff), I'm super interested in abandoned stuff and urban exploration, gaming's obv also a big one, and I like to keep informed on latest developments in consumer electronics and PC building, lovecraftian mythology is obv a big one lately, but also some economics/financial sector stuff or nature and 'how it's made' documentaries, just a whole variety of things I keep myself stuffed with on youtube and Spotify 😗 — what are some of your favorite things to do when you have some time to yourself?

The neat part is that I'm a very independent sort of 'loner' person since I have no interest in romantic relationships or marriage whatsoever, so I mostly have time to myself if I'm not working or consciously hanging out with friends and I know how to use that me time well. Ever since I started on my weight loss journey last year I've come to really enjoy doing sporty things such as swimming countless laps each week at a pool, or religiously running 5k every week if the weather allows it, have even started going to a gym every once in a while, and in the summer doing lots of cycling and inline skating and paddling on the lake. Being active has just honestly become such fun for me. Also like I said before I do love a good read or audio book, I also love looking at my game concept art books or doing puzzles (I'll literally sit for hours and finish a 1k puzzle in one go), then obv writing stories and RPing, gaming, I also picked up French on Duolingo to refresh my old school lessons, so lemme tell you, my 'me time' schedule is always full. I also love to go to my local goth club and dance til I can't walk anymore every now and then. Though I do go to the movies/parties/brunches and what not with friends a lot to, I also like to do it on my own every now and then! I do recommend spending more time with yourself and not making your entire existence absolutely depended on the company of other people 24/7, it can be really insightful, relaxing and refreshing!

(Pinned Post!!) Welcome to my Blog! Explanation

Heyo! My name is Gatia and Im the admin of this account that is dedicated to Kaiju related stuff along with Transformers even (and some Undertale) as a big ole crossover thing. Yeah I have my other blogs such as crackicrossiships or floragators but I felt like making a different blog.

I am a huge Godzilla/Kaijus fan and have been one for a very long time so I might as well make an account dedicated to that fixation. I love monsters, aliens, robots, shippings, and crossovers. The main things you will see in this account because of it. Im also a fan of Transformers (feel free to ask me about which media I might like) and Undertale (including its Aus). I have a lot of kaiju ocs, infact, my main one who is the mascot of this blog is Female Godzilla/Seishin. No she is not actually a genderbent version of Godzilla, that’s just her title lol.

Now I should specify that im not as knowledgeable in the topic of all Transformers continuities as I would like to be (in terms of which ones im fixated on) however I but would be overjoyed to interact with anyone who are huge fans!! I still would love to talk about it and get to know more. Again, feel free to ask me which form of Transformers Media I may know much about. The ones I like are Earthspark, Prime, and kinda Live Action Ones.

My other interests do include Undertale (and its aus feel free to ask which ones), some other kaiju media, Jurassic Park, Hungry Shark, Angry Birds, Subnautica (both OG and Below Zero), Zombie Fish Tank (if you even know about it), and Natural/Nature related horror movies!! Just ask me about any of them! My ask box is always open :3 So are my dms but only use that if you wanna talk with me about something directly.

Actually though I really am a fan of delving too deep it’s the fucking around and finding out that really makes my brain go brrr. The dwarves of Moria mined deeper than anyone had before, im playing subnautica because spooky dark ocean depths is awesome, I watched part of a horror movie with a sea monster that had been released by a drilling operation that had drilled deeper than anyone else etc etc you go down and find weird shit and it kills you and I’m cheering for the sea monster
