as someone who is consistently seen as ugly by society (im fat, physically disabled, mixed with textured hair, trans, non-eurocentric face, ect.) yet my boyfriend is attracted to me and ive also had a lot of people tell me they find me beautiful - i am proof that beauty and ugliness is subjective and that objective societal ugliness doesn't take away that people will find you beautiful

“Ugly” Rough Comic Concept.
—————
I’m hoping to be able to finish this comic this next October or November. I know the idea and concept are conveyed quite clearly just with the rough draft, but I would like to finish it with line art. I want to show this to a broader audience :)
For the first time in a long time, with the CT comic on hiatus, I feel like I can start on some of my other comic concepts. And I feel like I’ve learned a lot from my Hollow Knight comic, with how short I want my ideas to be. I don’t feel too comfortable creating a long comic (or at least one that goes over a year). Being constrained isn’t my style.

hey, actually. justice for ugly people. justice for people who have never been kissed/fucked/whatever because nobody wanted them. justice for the people who were asked out as a joke or dare as kids. people are so mean to people they think are ugly and it’s fucking unfair. it’s not a sign of a lack of worth or morality or whatever. it sucks sometimes but being unattractive isn’t a failing. you didn’t do anything wrong. beauty is not the price you pay for existing in the world.

I’m trying SO hard to not have the most catastrophic diabolical earth shattering koitsuki relapse right now. I’m protecting you all from my feral mouth foaming ugly old man yaoi thoughts and it’s the hardest battle I’ve ever had to fight

Mew, Mew, hello!! Flying into your ask with random Teru question! What do you think is Teru's fav color (if he has one)?
OOOOO you have me pacing. OK. sits down crosses legs puts cigarette to lips puffs smoke. OK SO. after careful consideration (prancing around and half-pondering) i think Teru would either believe all colors are valuable and beautiful under certain circumstances (“no color is better than the other just like us right kageyama [blinks at you cutely]”) OR he would have an INCREDIBLY NICHE NOBODY’S-EVEN-HEARD-OF RIDICULOUSLY (objectively) HIDEOUS favorite color. he is COMPLETELY and UTTERLY BAFFLED whenever someone says theyve never heard of it— and even MORE baffled when someone claims it’s ugly it’s just something he canNOT wrap his head around.
i love that weird little guy
i would also like to state that i do not believe ugly colors exist [points finger up at sky like nerd] when i say ugly i mean as in what would be majorly considered an “ugly color” ….[smiley]
ALSO THANK YOU FOR THE ASKY MATRAMATRA….I LIKE THINKING AND PONDERING AND BLABBERING SO THIS WAS FUN

So I've seen some posts about body neutrality and I think it's a great way to look at human bodies but some of the posts are. Not sure how to put it but some posts just make me feel really weird about what the op meant.
"Some people are ugly and that's okay" I feel like this just circles back to calling people ugly and being negative about something. It's the opposite of calling someone pretty.
Just like beauty, ugliness is subjective.
I genuinely don't think calling people ugly or saying "some people are ugly and that's okay" is productive or a good way to look at it sorry. It just doesn't feel like neutrality to me.

from the MDZS wiki:
Jiang Cheng is described as exceptionally handsome in a sharp way. His eyebrows are thin, and his almond eyes possess a composed vigor, yet resemble two bolts of lightning when he has the intention to attack. His posture emits an air of arrogance and overconfidence.[1] He is ranked fifth on the list of best-looking young gentlemen in the cultivation world.[2]
