Most likely to cause trouble at the upcoming quidditch match?
Players like Hestia Jones, for example. Iâd say Anson Wood, but heâs too in love with the sport to do anything to jeopardize it. I donât think there are any psycho fans around to cause trouble, so you just need to watch out for more death eater trouble. Seems like the French did us all a favor and moved the match out of the danger zone.
Although⊠considering that announcer Zephyr Bell made a comment encouraging the Holyhead Harpies to âaim all the bludgers at his (Anson Woodâs) thick head like heâs supposed to be the quaffleâ, he might want to watch his back for angry fans. And maybe someone should tell him he meant chaster instead of quaffle.

Hannah Stephens wrote to the President and Congress on 12/9/1791, asking the US to free her husband from prison in Algiers. Without her husband, Mrs. Stephens lost her home and any support for herself and three children.Â

Transcription:
To the President, Senate, and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled.
The memorial of Hannah Stephens of Concord in the County of Middlesex and Commonwealth of Massachusetts, wife of Isaac Stephens now a prisoner in Algiers: Humbly sheweth that her husband sailed from the Port of Boston in said Commonwealth on the twenty fourth day of June Anno Domini 5/25, in the Schooner Nancy of which he was Commander bound to Cadir, and was taken on the twenty fourth day of July in the same Year by the Algerines, and has ever since
remained a prisoner among them, deprived of his libertys of every mean of providing for himself, his wife or Children. Said Stephens left three children the eldest of which is a daughter fourteen years old, sickly and not able to support herself, and the other two still remain a great expense to their mother. Said Stephens several years previous to his last sailing from Boston, bought a house and a small piece of Land in said Concord for his wife and family, that they might have a certain home, whilst he pursued the Business of a Mariner, and paid part of the purchase money; but by means of his great misfortune in being made a prisoner, he has been unable to complete the purchase, and the money that has been paid is lost by reason of the failure of the payment of the Remainder: therefore your Memorialist has been turned out of Doors
[page 2]
Doors and driven to the cruel necessity of doing the lowest duties of a Servant to prevent herself and her helpless children from suffering hunger, and nakedness. Â Â Â Â
The Sufferings of your Memorialist and of her Children become insupportable when added to the Distress she feels for her husband, who is continually representing by his Letters his melancholy situation, and praying for interposition of the United
States in his behalf. _ _ _ _ _ _Â Your Memorialist in this her destitute and forsaken Condition, humbly begs the interposition of the United States for her husband, that they would devise some way by which he may be freed from his present state of Captivity, that she and her helpless children may once more enjoy the great pleasure of seeing their long lost friend, at liberty and in his native land - Your Memorialist is likewise under the necessity of entreating, and she now does in the most humble manner ^entreat^, that the Legislature of the United States would also take her necessitous Circumstances into their wise Consideration, and make some ^provision^ for the subsistence of herself and her Children, in order that she may have some Alleviation of her accumulated Load of human Woe - as in Duty bound shall ever pray - Hannah Stephens

Why I Love Anson Jones House: The changing face of Sherbourne Street
The affluent and sketchy history of Sherbourne St.
Sherbourne Street is undergoing a metamorphosis and one only needs to look at the rising tower behind the historic Gooderham Mansion and the James Cooper Mansion. The street was once home to an upscale neighbourhood, but fell into despair with many mansions being abandoned and a rise in prostitution and drug dealings, which attracted the homeless. For more on the history of Sherbourne Street, read my post on the Gooderham Mansion.
While the street has a number of major developments occurring, there are still pockets yet to be developed. One development that has been in limbo for years is the Anson Jones House, which sits on the corner of Sherbourne and Howard. In December 2016, The Globe and Mail reported the rebirth on Howard Street, which has been subject to pending gentrification since 2010. The rebirth is happening east of Sherbourne Street, but there are promises it will extend west to the Anson Jones House.
Until then, all we can do is use our imagination to envision the beauty it once had.
A home time has yet to fully destroy
The heritage home was built for Anson Jones, a ledger keeper for the Quebec Bank (Royal Bank of Canada), whose family lived in the dwelling until 1930. It was built by famed architect Edmund Burke (Hudsonâs Bay/ Robert Simpson Store, Casa Loma) in 1895 during a time when he was working alone. The home was designed in a Queen Anne Revival style, which many historians say Burke introduced to the city. What is even more brilliant is the original drawing below by Burke of the house found in the Toronto Archives.
The illustration shows the true beauty of this heritage home, which now is in despair and covered with graffiti, posters and broken windows. Like all of Burkeâs work, the house was an architectural wonder on a smaller scale than he is used to building. Notable elements of the home include:
The red brick and stone cladding, with brick, stone and wood trim
The cross-gable roof with chimneys and hipped dormers
The placement and detailing of the main entrance on the south façade on Howard Street
The decorative brickwork and stonework on the west elevation facing Sherbourne Street
Sunporches with decorative shingles
Terra Cotta trim
According to an ERA Architect report the home has âminimal damage to the existing heritage fabric of the houseâ with âmany historic decorative elements and finishes remaining.â Apparently, recent interior photos illustrate cabinetwork in the Great Room, a grand honey-coloured staircase and a tiled fireplace in a condition rare with many of these abandoned homes. Â
While the home is still boarded up, locked and monitored, one can only hope the Howard Street restoration/ development project extends west. The home is bound to be restored, with the ongoing development in the area, but the question is when?

This post is part of CoinDeskâs 2019 Year in Review, a collection of 100 op-eds, interviews and takes on the state of blockchain and the world. Leah Callon-Butler is the director of Emfarsis, a consulting firm focused on the role of technology in advancing economic development in Asia. There he was, belting out Fats Waller jazz vibes like it was nobodyâs business: Roger Wilkins, the former president of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). Weâd just completed a practice run for the next dayâs V20 Summit, and while the rest of us were exhausted and ravenous, sniffing out dinner options, Wilkins relished the opportunity to jump behind the keys of a lonely baby grand at the farthest end of the Grand Ballroom at the Hilton Osaka. Leaving my run-sheet behind, I sidled up to catch an impromptu performance from the man who once steered international standards in the fight against money laundering, terrorist financing and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.âI usually play Bach or Chopin,â Wilkins said, wrapping up his medley. The next morning, more than 100 of the worldâs most formidable figures in crypto compliance assembled to unpack one of the most pivotal regulatory developments in the history of our fledgling industry. Held June 28-29, 2019 in parallel to the G20 Leadersâ Summit in Osaka, Japan, the V20 Summit was a chance for the industry to respond to a highly controversial new set of recommendations handed down by the FATF. Some saw it as an opportunity to legitimize crypto and bring virtual assets into the mainstream financial system; others feared an assault against our communityâs most fundamental values of privacy and decentralization. CoinDeskâs Marc Hochstein told me via Twitter DM he thought it might be a bigger story than Facebookâs recently announced Libra. Another journalist suggested it might be cryptoâs Bretton Woods moment.Recommendation 16 was the one causing all the ruckus. As per the FATFâs new guidance, Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs) would be required to identify the sender and recipient on either side of a crypto transaction. Known as the âTravel Ruleâ due to the fact that data that must âtravelâ along with a traditional wire transfer, international banks and financial institutions had been forced to comply with these standards since the mid-1990s, giving law enforcement greater transparency and traceability to combat financial crime. And while the vast majority of major crypto exchanges already have Know Your Customer (KYC) policies in place for remitters, including beneficiaries opened up a Pandoraâs Box of complexity. In any case, the FATF delivered their directives in Osaka, giving G20 member countries a tight 12 months to implement the guidelines, with a review set for June 2020. Not-so-draconianâIt would have been nice for these FATF recommendations to be more accommodating to the sector but time constraints effectively ruled that out,â said SiĂąn Jones, co-founder of xReg Consulting. âThe major nations of the world got together to set that timetable and the FATF policy group had very little time to develop something more tailored to virtual assets.âJones, a self-described poacher-turned-gamekeeper-turned-poacher, has worked both sides of the regulatory fence and has watched the whole thing unfold over the past few years. She said the resulting guidelines were not as draconian as they might have been, were it not for the technical experts in that policy group â herself included â that were able to provide some balance. During her technical overview on the implications of the FATF guidance, Jones congratulated VASPs at the V20 on being included in the global financial system. She said this might come with some benefits, such as making it easier for VASPs to get bank accounts, but it would also come with responsibilities. The critical piece now was to find the most appropriate strategies to help the industry develop and innovate in ways that still meet public-policy objectives to thwart money-launderers and terrorists. âThis is a rapidly evolving landscape where regulators and industry just have to catch up with the new reality,â said Jones, who was also instrumental in enacting blockchain-friendly legislation in Gibraltar. Her presentation to the V20 opened with a warning slide: Wake up! Smell the coffee!âThe V20 was a great effort to bring the world of crypto together in one room with FATF on the sidelines of the G20,â said BĂ©nĂ©dicte Nolens, advisor to Circle, who said that even though crypto-assets have presented a great challenge to traditional finance, they have also opened up opportunities that will continue to evolve in the years ahead. âWe have to keep in mind that the goal of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulation is not to impose unnecessary process, but rather to demand process, so that the most nefarious activity in the world is starved for funding,â Nolens said. Examples of this could be slavery and the drug trade as well as terrorist activity.A month prior, Nolens was at the FATF Private Sector Consultative Forum in Vienna, invited to present on Recommendation 16. There, she reiterated the importance of a globally-coordinated and consistent approach to implementing the new regulations in G20 member countries, to avoid a situation where firms might try to sidestep the new rules via regulatory arbitrage or through moving jurisdiction, known as âisland hopping.â She also explained how there was currently no crypto equivalent to the International Bank Account Number (IBAN) system, which is what banks use to achieve compliance with the Travel Rule, so VASPs would be forced to come up with something new. Further, Nolens observed that coordination would be tricky, given the still very nascent, albeit global nature, of the crypto industry. âItâs true the cryptocurrency sector isnât very used to talking to regulators, and it can be very hard and very time consuming to build a constructive relationship between companies and their regulators,â said FATF Senior Policy Analyst Tom Neylan, who showed up alongside Wilkins, ready for a grilling from top VASP execs from Circle, Coinbase, Coincheck, bitFlyer, Kraken, BitMEX, Huobi, OKCoin, Bitfinex, Bithumb, Crypto.com, BITPoint, Liquid and more. âBut itâs a critical step we have to go through if cryptocurrencies are going to become a real part of peoplesâ daily lives.â At the V20, Neylan told attendees that regulation can be a good thing for industry; itâs not something we should fear. âThe fear was that these new rules would force VASPs out of business,â said Ronald M. Tucker, convener of the V20 and founder of the Australian crypto exchange Bit Trade. âThis risked driving the industry back underground and into dark markets, which, ironically, would make it even more difficult for law enforcers and regulators to do their job.âTucker was quick to realize the true gravity of the FATF intervention, as he dealt with a similarly existential threat back in 2014, when Australia was grappling with the issue of double taxation. The rules meant consumers were taxed at the time of buying crypto, and again later, when they used it to purchase items subject to local goods and services tax. Many exchanges thought that the new rules wouldnât apply to them.To tackle the problem, the blockchain community needed clear direction and leadership, and at the time, there was no such vehicle. This moved Tucker to form the Australian Digital Currency Association (ADCA), with the goal of coordinating key stakeholders to develop a robust governance framework to organize all sectors. ADCA was to become a unified voice for the burgeoning industry, ensuring commercial operators were aligned, media were informed and government was educated. Recently rebranded to Blockchain Australia, today the organization is recognized globally as a leader in regulatory engagement and best practice. And so, with the FATF rules pending implementation, and a lack of global coordination taking place, a sense of dĂ©jĂ vu gave Tucker the impetus to elevate ADCAâs proven formula to a global stage. A community effortIt was just after CoinDeskâs Consensus 2019 in New York City when Tucker mobilized the core V20 organizing team â including myself, Anson Zeall of ACCESS Singapore, Philippe Le Saux of GMI Post, Nathan Smale of Emfarsis Consulting and the futurist Mark Pesce, well-known for his podcast, The Next Billion Seconds, who championed the role of Summit Chair. We had less than seven weeks to pull the whole thing together, and at the beginning, our outreach efforts were met with some skepticism. For the VASPs that had actually heard about the FATF issue (most hadnât, so that required a considerable education effort on our part), many thought that the new rules wouldnât apply to them. Or, they thought their time and money would be better spent lobbying against the FATF.âWe spent a lot of time rallying the community to stop petitioning against the Travel Rule and start collaborating toward a compliance solution of the industryâs own design,â said Teana Baker-Taylor, executive director of Global Digital Finance (GDF), an industry membership body that sets out standards and best practices for blockchain and digital assets. GDF members knew the FATFâs hasty timeline and global coordination requirements posed a significant risk to the industry, especially given the additional operational and commercial costs of compliance. But it was also the perfect imperative to finally get the crypto compliance clique working together on a globally interoperable solution. As such, GDF was one of the first to lend its support to Blockchain Australia and ACCESS Singapore to help get the V20 off the ground.âAs a community, we talk about mainstreaming and mass-scale adoption, but itâs often inside our own echo chamber,â said Baker-Taylor, who was named Blockchain Leader of the Year at the 2019 Women in Tech Awards. âIf we want the future to reflect our ideals, weâve got to take some responsibility and step up to educate policymakers, as opposed to resisting them.âWhen a trio of policymakers pledged their support to the V20 â namely ex-FATF President Wilkins, Japanese Congressman Naokazu Takemoto and Taiwanese Congressman Jason Hsu â we observed a ripple effect throughout the industry, with huge momentum building among the VASPs. Behind the scenes, we were working like mad to rejig the agenda for Day 2 to accommodate Hsuâs schedule. Hellbent on speaking at the V20, heâd have to fly straight to Osaka from Washington, D.C., where heâd been participating in the U.S. Department of Stateâs International Visitor Leadership Program and other key think-tanks discussing major industry developments, such as Libra. âI felt I needed to be there to support industry and act as a bridge between them and the policymakers and regulators,â said Hsu, who was nicknamed âThe Crypto Congressmanâ by Vitalik Buterin in 2018. Coming from a background in entrepreneurship, Hsu is a rare breed of politician, uninhibited by the usual glacier-pace of government innovation. âIf we want to go long on this industry, we need to regulate, but the current government are still scratching their heads on how best to do it,â said Hsu. He believes FATF will ultimately shed a positive light on the crypto industry, which still struggles to shake its associations with the darknet. In the absence of clear guidance, Hsu said itâs critical for industry players to lay down the guardrails. âThis industry is prone to security infringement and the crypto operators have to look that truth square in the eyes,â said Hsu, with a nod to the hacks, data leaks and other security hazards making headlines every other day. âIf we set the bar high and pave the way for the industry to be formalised, we will see less and less misunderstandings about the true qualities of crypto from the public as well as governments. The VASPs must bring their determination to the table to fix this.âThe site for the V20 Summit was apt. After all, Japan is home to the two biggest crypto exchange hacks in history: Mt Gox and Coincheck. These hefty security breaches ultimately led to Japanâs proactive stance on VASP regulation, becoming the only nation in the world to grant legislative status to its self-regulatory body, the Japan Virtual Currency Exchange Association (JVCEA). The Financial Services Agency (FSA) was the regulatory body behind the establishment of JVCEA in October 2018. Both JVCEA and Japanâs Ministry of Finance were on the speaker lineup for the V20, together with representatives from public sectors including FSA and the Australian Government agency, AUSTRAC. âThe impact of hacking tends to be bigger than that of ordinary crypto-related money laundering transactions in terms of amount,â said Katsuya Toshihiko, who was the president of Coincheck when he attended the V20. The target of a major hack in January 2018, Coincheck had 500 million NEM tokens stolen by hackers, worth an eye-watering USD $530 million at the time. He says that âpainfulâ experience is what triggered Coincheckâs deep sense of social responsibility and seriousness about responding appropriately to the FATFâs new guidance.Yuzo Kano, representative director of the Japan Blockchain Association and co-founder of bitFlyer, an exchange, says it was Japanâs troubled history that motivated it to put its security protection and compliance standards under the microscope. âToday, Japan is two to three years ahead of the rest of the world when it comes to self-regulation,â Kano said, demonstrating how painful circumstances can lead to innovation, provided we embrace the discomfort and look for growth opportunities. Kano spoke at the V20 about the contributions JBA has made, including its strong backing for the establishment of JVCEA as well as a Cryptoassets Governance Task Force aimed at developing safety standards for consumer protection. Drawing insights from Japanâs story, V20 participants broke into groups to workshop a blueprint for the requirements of a technical solution that could satisfy the FATF (rather than prescribing any specific product, brand or service provider). A key outcome of these discussions was that the industry needed a governing body to represent its interests at an international level. As such, the International Digital Asset Exchange Association (IDAXA) was established as a vehicle to continue proactive engagement with the FATF.Since the V20, more organizations have joined the initiative, and now, IDAXA represents the national blockchain associations of Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Switzerland and JBA and JVCEA from Japan. Work to doTo arrive at something that satisfies the FATF Recommendations while still being workable for business, a sustained industry-led effort is necessary to ensure the blockchain communityâs ethos of decentralization is upheld and consumer privacy is protected above all. The V20 was an early catalyst but the work is far from done. Most VASPs are still coming to grips with how to comply and how much itâs going to cost, especially all those smaller firms that are struggling to navigate a jumble of regulatory regimes and requirements with less staff and less resources. Meanwhile, a slew of exchanges have already delisted privacy coins such as Monero and Zcash due to regulatory pressure. Despite the near-term hurdles, itâs widely believed that the crypto sectorâs strong tech focus can actually help achieve FATFâs goals to stymie financial fugitives. Further, industry frontrunners in the race to compliance believe that FATF compliance and data privacy neednât be mutually exclusive. In any case, with the big review due in June 2020, there is a very real need to demonstrate progress and a number of groups around the world are working tirelessly to ensure we have the necessary languages, protocols and products to make sense of this new chapter. So by the time the V20 convenes again, at the G20 Leadersâ Summit in Riyadh, November 2020, we could be another step closer to seeing crypto go mainstream. Are you betting on the Harpies or the Arrows?
What makes you think Iâm not betting on both? After all, thereâs more to bet on than whoâs going to win, you can also bet on things like Anson Wood crying if his broom gets damaged and if Hestia Jones is pulled from the match for attacking the referee.

What did Greengrass and Nott even fight about anyway? Just seems like two wannabe Alphas butting heads to me.
Hereâs my eyewitness testimony: Malcolm Greengrass said about a sentence to Dmitry Nott, and then Dmitry starting swinging. Weâve all had that urge when it comes to Malcolm, but hereâs the thing-- Dmitryâs deaf, right? That all happened so fast that Iâm not even sure he could have known what Malcolm said. Definitely at least one âwannabe Alphaâ.Â
The confusing part is after Kingsley Shacklebolt stepped in. We all know the whole disappointing story of Anson Wood and Malcolm being best friends, and I suppose it wouldnât be great for his relationship if he let his ex beat up his current beauâs partner. But Malcolm lowered his wand before Dmitry tackled him, right? Does anyone know what thatâs about?
All in all, this is exactly why Iâm a lesbian.Â

Do you see any couples breaking up soon?
Something tells me Rodolphus and Bellatrix Lestrange might be heading to divorce, and that something might just be that Iâve literally never seen them look happy to be in the same room together. Thatâs just my two cents, though.
Even more imminent seems to be Anson Wood and Kingsley Shacklebolt-- Iâm not sure if you could have called them a couple to begin with, but Iâm guessing they certainly arenât one now after Kingsley lowkey killed Ansonâs sibling.
Then thereâs Alaric Avery and Pandora Kane-- did you see what happened to her? If that girl has any common sense, sheâll flee for the hills. Or France, that seems to be a popular thing lately.Â
Lastly-- and this one might just be wishful thinking-- Delilah and Amycus Carrow. Thereâs no feminist anthem powerful enough to convey the sort of cheering Iâll be doing when Delilah finally leaves that asshole.Â

Next ones to get married?
Considering Fabian Prewett and Austen Traversâ surprise wedding, I understand why youâre asking, so Iâll let it slide.
I know you might be expecting to hear mention of Asher Westenberg and Amelia Bones, but please, donât be ridiculous. A woman like Amelia Bones is going to have something like that scheduled and weâll see her time table well in advance of the event, so theyâre definitely not next.
With as much as Iâve heard about Narcissa Blackâs engagement to Lucius Malfoy, I feel like that wedding will never happen, but Merlinâs beard, please let it be soon so I wonât have to hear about it again. Thereâs only so much I can take and Iâve hit my limit.
I remember rumors once about twins Ari Avery and Alaric Avery having a double wedding once and even though theyâre both engaged, to Valentina Nott and Pandora Kane, respectively, I doubt theyâre going to be anywhere around each other on their wedding days now. Considering how long Ari Averyâs engagement has been, theyâre unlikely to tie the knot with Ms. Nott any time soon and from what Iâve heard, Ms. Kane isnât rushing into marriage, either. Cold feet, perhaps?
With as quickly as Kingsley Shacklebolt and Anson Wood hooked up, maybe something else will end up slipped into their drinks and theyâll find themselves down the aisle as well. They have that sort of puppyish, thoughtlessly enthusiastic affection going for both of them, so why not?

Who do to succeed and fail in life?
This should be easy. There arenât a lot of people succeeding in life, but Iâll name a few.
Alastor Moody for surviving a Death Eater attack. That man may have a questionable amount of sanity, but he sure is tough to kill. Does that make him the cockroach of Death Eater society, do you think?
Amelia Bones is attractive, confident, and in control as well as getting laid. I wouldnât be surprised if that woman ends up as Minister of Magic one day because not even a war seems to get in her way. I wonder if thatâs why sheâs so chilly with her brother Edgar Bones lately, maybe she realized heâs bad for her success?
Sirius Black, mostly because he ran away from home with the fewest consequences, it seems, and because he has one of the hottest women in London on his arm. You canât deny that Juniper Dunbar is gorgeous, I think she could even rival Liliana Zabini and sheâs gorgeous as an occupation.
I could go on for ages about everyone failing at life, but Iâm not that interested in talking about them for that long, so Iâll keep it brief.
Erika Lahti is failing at life because look at her. Sheâs gorgeous with a high paying ministry job, youâd think sheâd have a comfortable home and someone to keep her company, but instead sheâs sleeping on the couch of some guy she met⊠on the street? Really, what does it say about the Ministry that their top workers are charity cases?
Mafalda Hopkirk is one of the messiest humans Iâve ever seen. In another life, maybe she could be the wild partygirl thatâs living it up and every thinks of as the life of the party, but instead she seems like sheâs had too many shots and sheâs in danger of crying while breaking your motherâs favorite vase. Itâs honestly sad.
Anson Wood, but itâs not really his fault. He lose his sibling, no clue where theyâve gone, and then he lost his career because Quidditch was banned, and somehow he didnât even realize Quidditch was banned? Does he get so into flying that he doesnât realize if thereâs an audience or not? That obsession of his is concerning, maybe someone should report him to an auror just in case he loses his flat next.Â

what couple did you never expect?
I pride myself on being able to predict most of the couples around here, but Valentines did lead to several hook ups I didnât see happening.
I didnât expected Kingsley Shacklebolt to get lucky with anything besides his own hand, let alone a quidditch celebrity, so heâs on the list along with Anson Wood.
Speaking of celebrities, do you think Malcolm Greengrass sent Nina Fedorova flowers? He could always pass them off as a get well gift. After all the rumours involving him and Andromeda Black at Diana MacMillanâs party, I find Malcolm and his dick still being together to be biggest surprise.
And I have to say, Andromeda is a far less boring girl around Malcolm than she is around Ted Tonks, I swear I could die from boredom watching their puppy love.Â
Oh, and I donât know if this counts, but Emmeline Vance and Maura Mulciber. I donât know if theyâre really a couple, but I am surprised that theyâre still hanging around each other. You would have thought that would be over after Maura got sick and Hestia Jones flew back into town.

Did you see Anson Wood and Kingsley Shacklebolt sneaking away from Dianaâs party?
I heard about this earlier and as soon as I did, I found a fountain to flip a coin into and wished that man got lucky because Kingsley Shacklebolt could use something to calm him down. And since Anson Wood already spends so much of his time riding something, you know that Kingsley is sure to have had a good time.Â
Although this does beg the question⊠did Anson just getting tired of falling into bed with groupies or does he need a little bit of leverage over someone in the DMLE? His sibling Blair is missing, arenât they?

who do you think is gonna make the biggest embarrassment of themselves at diana's birthday party?
It all depends on who will be there, donât you think? I know Diana MacMillan herself thinks itâs the biggest event of the year, but letâs be honest, there are people part of happy couples that couldnât care less about her birthday and what she does for it.
So letâs consider miserable singles.
I donât think itâs quite Kingsley Shackleboltâs scene, but heâs always a contender for embarrassing himself at parties, so remember that.
I donât know if itâs likely, but it would be fantastic if Charlotte MacMillan herself messed up Dianaâs big day, donât you think? Ah, family, you have to love them⊠or love to hate them.
Oh, oh, you know what would be hilarious? If Dorcas Meadowes crashed the event to remind everyone there of all the people that wonât ever attend a party again, because Iâm sure that Dianaâs already forgotten the name Emma Vanity.
Itâs Anson Woodâs birthday, too, you know? He plays quidditch, maybe heâll hijack the event somehow in Emmaâs honour, that would be fantastic.

Who are the cutest platonic pairs?
I think itâs cute to watch Greta Catchlove and Pandora Kane be together, it amplifies the giddiness in a room and they start putting out a carefree air. Itâs almost cartoonishly sweet how they seem to want only the best for each other.Â
Edgar Bones with Asher Westenberg or Anson Wood, if only for the nicknames. although who knows, maybe Edgar wouldnât be so close with Asher if he knew how the man felt about a certain dress on a certain sibling.
The anti social, not couple of the year is Zahi Shafiq and Theodora Rowle, who are too anti-social to be part of real couples. Shame it didnât work out for them, they share the same preference for non-humans.
Girls may not be his thing, but they seem to like Zephyr Bell. His friendships with Daisy Hookum is sweet, but she should watch out - his friendship with Juniper Dunbar may win out as the most entertaining.Â

Is Anson Wood into men or not
I donât know, but it really doesnât matter. With an attitude like that, no oneâs going to want your broomstick between their legs.

what will anson wood do now that blair also died?
Iâd guess heâd do what the Frenchies did and go home, but itâs rather hard to do that when Britain is his home. Honestly though, does anyone know if Blair and Anson Wood ever even got along? Iâve heard tell that there were some rivalries...
The real question is, is Anson ever going to forgive Kingsley Shacklebolt for letting his sibling die?
