There is absolutely NOTHING you can do to convince me that he's not a simp for sleeper builds. Mans loves a good surprise and sleeper builds take the cake (see what I did there??)

He's happy to lend you a hoodie anytime. Especially if he gets to see you pull it off and flex your muscles.

Makes you a protein shake every morning when he works out

He's soaring the rest of the day if you join him in the morning before class and sleeping comfortably on cloud nine if you join him in the evening before dinner.

We all know gym dates are a MUST, it doesn't even need to be that often (he'd be in heaven if you make it a regular thing, but won't be mad if you'd rather work out alone or with friends.) Every once in a while is enough to keep this man SWOONING over you.

Most definitely puts an extra 2.5-5 on the machine when he thinks knows that you can hit a new pr. (You can literally see him in the mirror, so he realizes he's not slick)

Indecisive about whether Arm Days or Leg Days with you are better.

You might not enjoy Arm Days, but he's happy he gets to show off and flex his biceps. You bet your ass he'll push you during your sets.

He's not the biggest fan of Leg Days, but he's so proud of you when he sees the weights you use to deadlift, squat, etc.

Trust me, he would shout "That's my baby!" with zero hesitation if you'd let him.

Goes to Protective BF Mode whenever you squat. If he's not there and you're with the Bakusquad, Mina's got your back, and Bakugou's close by for backup.

Used to think yoga was light work, but found out the hard way that some moves were light years out of his flexibility league, (Anything not in the realm of butterfly and downward dog is impossible for this man)

If you're able to achieve those difficult yoga positions, he'll forever be mindblown by how you make it look so easy. You'll never hear the end of his praise, lol

He shouldn't feel so at ease, perhaps, with General Nan Yang behind him with his bow aimed as his back while Mu Qing whirls and weaves between ghosts. But the arrows whizzing by him miss him at a hair's breadth to instead embed themselves in the mob before him, telling him he's made the right decision. He doesn't really think Feng Xin would shoot him in the back, anyway. He's too good an archer to miss his mark, and too good a person to take out his frustrations in a way that underhanded. So it's with full faith that Mu Qing focuses his attention forward. With one last mighty overhead swing, he unleashes enough focused spiritual energy to cleave the remaining ghosts in twain; satisfied that they have finally fought their way throughout the entire mob, he sets his zhanmadao down and wipes a single drop of sweat from his face.

They may only have been Malices, sicced on the pair of gods as a measure for their Wrath master to buy time to escape, but there had been so many of them that he dares admit that without Feng Xin's backup, he would have been hard-pressed to come out on top. As he turns to quip at his colleague (and superficially see if he's holding up alright), however, he unexpectedly finds a demanding hand on his chin and angry honey-coloured eyes boring into his. Before Feng Xin can snap at him, he beats him to it. "What," he bites sharply, lifting his own free hand to slap Feng Xin's away. In doing so, he agitates the wrist where one of the ghosts had managed to get a lucky hit right on the joint and he can only school his expression a split second too late.

It had been the logical approach to the fight; General Nan Yang is no slouch in close combat (of all the heavens, Mu Qing would know that best), but Mu Qing had needed his bow, his spiritual tool, his most effective weapon. General Xuan Zhen was more suited to holding a line up close. That it means he is also more prone to injury, well. Part and parcel of being a Martial God. So long as he can keep his face clean of scars, he doesn't care.

(He cares. He's touched that Feng Xin is worried about him. He's eager to put himself between ghosts and his colleague- every blow directed at him is one not directed at Feng Xin. Samwise (bibarel) she was the first pokemon I caught, she and jr were besties, I literally named her samwise bc I knew she would be our rock and she would carry us n since jr can't be here I feel like she has to fill his spot (also works out bc they r both water types anyway) ✨️ [ability: simple (Stat changes are doubled) • item: mystic water (boosts water moves + belonged to free jr previously) • moves: super fang / surf / yawn / swords dance] fun fact: super fang halves hp and brine is super effective on half hp or lower targets and I am SOOOO SALTY that she CANNOT learn brine 😔😔😔

Dewey (roserade) has some pretty good moves (toxic does work in the long run and grass knot hits pretty hard on most pokemon), can do work vs Bertha, won't be helpful vs aaron or flint ✨️ [ability: natural cure • item: big root (increases healing from absorb) • moves: absorb / synthesis / grass knot / toxic]

King (purugly) only recently started training him so im not sure if his friendship is maxed out BUT he knows retaliate so if I do have a casualty 😤 ✨️ [ability: thick fat (halves damage from fire and ice type moves) • item: no item yet! • moves: body slam / substitute (I also have protect and endure TMs that I can use instead?? I think having one move where he can like. Fully negate damage might be helpful?) / attract (I might replace this one OTL LMFAO)

Rolf (medicham) high dps/move combo ✨️ [ability: pure power (doubles his attack stat) • item: fist plate (boosts fighting moves) • moves: reversal / drain punch / mind reader / high jump kick]

Mystery (rapidash) fast + has kind of a type advantage, she feels like a safe bet ✨️ [ability: run away (useless in this setting lmao) • item: amulet coin (subject to change obv) • moves: fire blast / flame wheel / smart strike / flare blitz

Teeny (raichu) another high dps but with special attack type moves instead of regular (on the other hand teenys uhhhh not my fastest pokemon but its fine) [ability: static (may inflict paralyze on contact) • item: wise glasses (ups sp attack moves) • moves: charm / light screen / thunder / thunder punch]

Cupquake (quagsire) is ONLY weak to grass type moves also knows earthquake And toxic, feels like another pretty safe bet?? ✨️ [ability: water absorb (gains hp from water attacks) • item: metronome (increases damage from consecutive moves, might use a different item) • moves: mud shot / earthquake / sludge bomb / toxic]

On the flip side I can try to believe in the power of friendship and bring someone else in place of Jubilee and hope for the best?? (On the other hand: dazzling gleam can help vs Cynthia's spiritomb)

I feel like king is like. A gimmick pick, he'll mostly pay off if someone goes down and even that's kind of a long shot?? No offense to him ofc but like.. get in line lol.

Dewey and Cupquake both kno toxic and they both have high damage moves (earthquake and grass knot) given that cupquake technically has fewer weaknesses she would Probably be safer to choose? Flip side Dewey has absorb and synthesize so he should have a lil self sustaining (maybe 🥲, esp if the enemy has been hit w/ toxic he can tank a few hits w/ absorb + synthesize n then use grass knot)

I feel like. I won't be able to one shot most of these guys like they are built to not be one shot so playing slow might be the move and teeny is also set up for that a lil bit: charm to lower attack and light screen to lessen damage, thunder and thunder punch also do a lot of damage on their own.

Rolf's move combo of mind reader + high jump kick, with drain punch for poke damage + sustain is also a decent choice??

N finally Mystery is fast and has high damage, she is quite literally a one trick pony tho bc that's. P much all she is good at.... i think she and Evil >:3 could both do damage to Aaron's team, but Mystery may be able to hold her own vs. Flint's team. Then again: Cupquake would also probably be a good pick

In conclusion IDK LMAO I'm gonna go have lunch, I'm glad I typed all of this out! I'll come back later when I decide I'm gonna try to get thru all of it tonight bc haha I realized recently that I started this nuzlocke like......................2............... years... ago............. Cam is an optimist, they always try to see the best in the world and in the people around them. They’re curious, intelligent, and love to share their knowledge with others. History:

Cam grew up on a ranch in a small town in Venterre. The Giardini family raised cattle and had a lucrative farm that had been in the family for many generations. Cam helped on the farm a lot growing up, but their clumsiness made them get in the way more often than not. They weren’t meant to be a cowboy, and no amount of riding horses and harvesting crops could change that. Cam grew up right in the middle of eight siblings, most of whom were not the nicest to them growing up. They often felt as if they didn’t fit in and dreamed of a day when they could leave the stifling family ranch behind.

Cam spent most of their childhood reading, practicing their magic, and sneaking out of the house to stargaze with their sister Calla. While it took them a while to come into their magical abilities, they soon became powerful enough that their parents wanted to send them away to Vesuvia where their Aunt Angela lived. 

At the age of twelve Cam went to live and train with her, and Cam found that they were quite adept at making potions. They were so good, in fact, that people began to travel far and wide to purchase them, making their Aunt’s magic store famous. Angela was a powerful witch, but a bit unconventional in her teaching methods. She was not a very kind woman, and she often exploited Cam’s magical talents for money or status. Eventually, Angela used the funds from Cam’s potions to buy a lavish manor in the Heart District where she retired, leaving Cam to run the store. 

Not long after, Cam met Asra at the masquerade. The two became fast friends and Asra began to help them at the shop. Cam became an amateur astronomer around this time, frequently climbing onto the roof or travelling out to the woods for a better look at the night sky. They built their first telescope, with the help of magic of course, and began to chart and name the stars. For a few years, they were content to run the store during the day and study magic and the stars at night. They hardly got enough sleep- but that's what energy potions and tea are for! 

All too soon, the plague came to Vesuvia. Cam made the decision to close the shop to focus on making healing potions for a nearby clinic, run by Julian Devorak. Asra begged them to leave, but Cam knew they could do the most good by staying. It was this dedication to helping others that led to their eventual death. 

After their resurrection, they found relearning magic far easier than learning how to speak or walk. Cam spent most days practicing potions and accidentally setting houseplants on fire. They also regained their interest in the night sky, and relearned everything from the notes they’d made years before. Cam began to focus more intently on astronomy and using the stars for divination. Their connection to The Magician strengthened, as did their magic.

In their post-canon life, Cam builds an observatory and seeks answers in the cosmos. They're always looking for ways to use their magic to make something new.

Five facts:

alcohol has pretty much no effect on them, they don’t ever get drunk

they wrote a math textbook for fun, but it didn’t sell very well

despite what their more nerdy interests might lead you to believe, Cam is a bit of a jock and likes sports and being active (they especially love hiking)

however they aren’t particularly good at these activities, Cam is very clumsy and often runs into things, they’re a bit of a hazard to those around them

Cam’s magic is strongest at night, and they’re a night owl in general so they often stay up all night to work

Totally Useless (Inner) Thoughts #3

Hello people, i assume you were looking for a more activity on my blog, but it's the end of the year, and you know, tests, school trips...etc. I had a big need to write the third post from my own Inner Thoughts series, but i didn't really havmd an idea what i should write about. Not that now i'm sure what i want to write about, so we'll see where will my mind lead me (or us, if you want). I'm currently so overwhelmed by the amount of things which depend on my decisions...and i'm a really indecisive person. I read in one post that INTPs don't like to be leaders, nor do they want to make decisions, so they prefer when someone else makes the final decisions, but on the other hand, they want to think for themselves, and take their own actions. Of course, this might have something with typology, but not necessarily. Can we even make the right decisions ? The question that pops into my mind right after asking this question, is what do we even define as the "right decision" ? Are there even right decisions ? Bc you know, everybody thinks that their decisions were/are right at some point of their decision-making process. So yeah, this is where i'm stuck these past days, but i'm not really stressed about it, idk why, i just kinda think about it. I once made a post saying just "why do we have to make decisions" or smthg like that. I also made one saying "everything is connected", didn't i...well, but everything is. And everything is so complex in its own way. Like, as i look at it, everything is a part of something big, but everything has its own structure and parts. It really is interesting, when you look on the world from this point of view. You can notice some patterns and things which are hidden otherwise. Even now, the "everything is connected" is connected to "why do we have to make decisions", and the problems with decision-making. And it's all just because everything is connected. Don't get me wrong, i'm not trying to impress you, or anything like that. It's just...when you want to make the best decision, whether it is the most logical, or not, you have to look on everything that will be changed, or affected by your decision. And there are lots and lots of it. Of course, this problem becomes a problem just when we want to make objective decisions, and since the present world is more focused on individualism and subjectivity of every being, it is not a problem. But is that true ? Is the focus on individualism and subjectivity really good ? Because we can make a mouse of an elephant, but elephant will always be an elephant, and mouse will always be a mouse. Some problems will always be big, and some will always be less important. And in my opinion, this is the biggest problem of todays world. "What is not important to you can be really important for someone else." and the opposite as well. Sure, it might be true, but that does not mean it is good. I believe people are being a bit overdramatic. Again, don't get me wrong, i don't want to hurt anyone, but any way i look at it, people are a bit overemotional and overdramatic. I won't lie, i'm a bit sick of it...but what can i do about it ? Nothing. So yeah, well, these are my thoughts, don't tell me they're chaotic, i warned you somewhere in previous posts...idk how to end this so probably just...bye ? I really don't know...

do you think that "influencers" and celebs should speak out about "political issues"? (putting it in brackets bc. it's clearly an understatement n not accurate but idk how to word it) re: palestine? cause i've seen a lot of people be like "yeah they shouldn't talk about it if they're not educated or if they're just doing it for the trend" (even tho at this point its been so all over social media that ppl cant use the "im not educated enough" excuse anymore) n all and i guess it's a fair point and all but also? idk when i'm on social media and i see ppl talking about what's happening in palestine, and then i scroll down and see ppl be like omg new haul uwu! vlog with my friends! and thats just so???? idk. idk what to think bc on the other hand ofc performative activism is bad ykw? (like....re: blm ppl just posting a black square on their ig....) but i don't know what to think about it and i would love to hear your thoughts!!!

inchresting question to which i have no concrete answer to provide (except a lot of ramblings) because it is a thorny subject related to the ubiquity of digital society and the social weight we give to a certain class of people who frame their existence as something that could represent us but actually doesn't at all. and everybody and their mother - including me - has an opinion on it but at the end of the day it's just an opinion, not an empirical fact to be presented, and not even one i think about a lot bc it isn't a primary concern of mine on a day to day basis. so i'm like not looking for a debate with some random tumblr user (not talking about u anon, but talking about whoever might care too much about my inconsequential opinion) bc this is a question i'm answering, not a question i'm asking so to anyone tempted to "well according to the encyclopedia of pfppspfpsp" me, make ur own post!

i guess we can start with "should influencers/celebrities/people who are famous by virtue of being well-known even exist and should we lend weight to their words?" the answer to that may vary from person to person but social media accounts with a very large following can indeed turn tides with regard to socio-political crises, such as demonstrated by bella hadid who single-handedly educated a whole generation of south-korean netizens through her posts on palestine so we can see the good effects of that. now obviously bella hadid is personally concerned by the ethnic cleansing of palestine and has a lot more at stake than say rihanna with her all lives matter bullshit statement (someone said "saudi dick must be potent" but i think it has more to do with her contract with puma who is actually on the BDS list) or even jameela jamil who has a terminal case of "everything must be about me always".

people can say whatever they want about what well-known ppl are allowed to speak about or not but i'll just remind that these "influencers" and whatnot are people and they're bound to want to talk about stuff, especially when it is relevant or when prompted by their own following, because literally everybody with an account on a social media platform expresses their opinions about smt at one point or another in time. that includes random ppl on facebook commenting under news with their stale hot takes. famous ppl or "influencers" are no different.

I'll also say that "influence" only goes so far so I'm not *particulary* concerned with whatever whoever that i don't take seriously says. let me take the queen of talking out of her ass jameela jamil as a case study for this. people who agreed with her bizarre and narcissistic takes are already bound to agree with her because people flock to opinions that are similar to theirs. in my opinion that is not influence, that is attracting similar weirdos in your sphere and consequently creating impenetrable echo chambers of idiocy. did her stale ass take become a "consensus" amongst the indecisive? i don't know for sure bc i haven't run a survey but my assumption is that people who have critical thinking skills were rightfully put off by her rancid take and called her out publicly for it, providing sources and information, which i think is visible enough for anyone 2 look through. and people who like her talk and think out of their asses were like "wow preach i've been saying!" so they are themselves inconsequential.

so in my opinion it is less about influencing - because at this point i think someone can be influenced by a single person into buying a product but your fave singer is not going to make you buy into their ideology just because they released one lukewarm-at-best statement - and more about signaling where you stand. when viola davis and idris elba (amongst many others) stated that they stood by palestine, they made it clear that they stood against apartheid and ethnic cleansing and people who already agreed on these basic principles saluted their stance. do i believe they changed anybody's mind? not really, that is the job of well-informed people such as activists disseminating information and other people sharing the info. do i think that mark ruffalo lost all credibility with his flip-flopping? absolutely, and it doesn't reflect back on palestine, it reflects badly on HIM. we're in an era where people are bombarded with so much information from all sides that one person saying something is a drop in a bucket no matter how famous they are. this is also why we say that israhell lost the PR war. we were and are too loud 2 be ignored now and a few celebrities showcasing how inane they are doesn't change anything. the famous-ppl-market is too saturated for their opinion to matter a whoooole lot. support is appreciated but not hailed as the second-coming jesus u know what i mean?

to address ur final point about finding it weird that some people flat-out ignore some stuff while you are neck-deep into it, I think it's an understandable situation to find yourself in and as subhi taha said, it just looks tacky. i think it should be your cue to just unfollow whoever doesn't align with your interest content-wise. i unfollowed a loooot of people lately because of that like I really didn't give a fuck about Michelle phan's cryptocurrency peddling (which was already yikes on principle) in the midst of real-time live-stream decolonisation and liberation struggles against apartheid and ethnic cleansing, and at this point I don't think I can go back to caring about using social media for frivolous things (except cats and memes account bc they bring me joy) and following bigger accounts that are trying 2 sell me some shit, because I've changed in the past weeks, one could say I've become more "radical" (lol) and I'm ready to sustain an online space that caters to my concerns and abandon all content that I indeed find tacky in between two posts that talk about some serious shit. it's not to say I'll never post a pic of the sunset on Instagram again or that I don't consume content that has literally nothing to do with informing myself and disseminating information on decolonisation and anti-capitalism (I literally watch study vlogs from med students to unwind lol), or that "everybody should use their account in this specific way because it's the only one that is valid" (it's not and i don't care what other ppl do) but u are obviously dissatisfied with ur feed for valid reasons and while some ppl may not share your opinion it doesn't mean that you shouldn't take steps to make ur user experience less jarring.

it's again just an *opinion*, not a to-do list or smt that i'd ever want 2 present as a "fact", at the end of the day everybody curates their online spaces the way they want to and if you find your current configuration to be distasteful, that's understandable. and everybody is entitled to believe that celebrities/influencers/glorified sellers of products and lifestyles and disorders talking or not talking about certain things can be harmful or beneficial, as there are arguments and examples for and against it and i am personally not interested in participating the debate even tho i wrote a long ass text about it akjdlkfjgd I'm sorry about this u might be regretting ever asking me this question. hope i made sense!

hi! so, my mom wants me to see a specialized therapist to see if i'm autistic, but i'm scared. i'm scared if it turns out i'm not because i feel like it could let my mom down in some way. i'm also afraid that i'll get a bad therapist and they'll treat me badly and not take the time to really try to figure it out, since i live in a small town and there aren't many specialists here. BUT i'm also scared if i am, i'm scared that an official diagnosis (1/2)

(2/2) i’m scared that an official diagnosis may feel too definitive to me and that it’ll make my symptoms worse bc i’ll think about that a lot and it could feel like a bigger limitation to me. i really don’t know how to explain it, so i’m so sorry if you don’t understand what i mean! tl;dr: i’m scared to go through a diagnosis bc that means a big change for me, whether the outcome is positive or not - anna, thanks!

I’m sorry for the delay in answering your question. If you’re still going through this process, I hope that this advice will be helpful to you. If not, I hope it went well (whether you proceeded with the therapist or not)

First of all, it may help to speak to your mom about your feelings. She may be able to reassure you that you won’t disappoint her, or slow the process down if you don’t feel comfortable proceeding with an official diagnosis.

I think it’s important to bear in mind that if you and your mom both have done a lot of research and think that you’re autistic, you most likely are autistic, or similarly neurodivergent. Keep in mind that both professional and self-diagnosis are valid, but that neither will change anything about who you are or what you can do.
