i'm on a frustratingly inexact dragon hunt send help

it's for an old oc i wanna rework- lux, unicorn/deer (or high elf if dnd au) prince who, after some major political upheaval left him in danger, is hiding out on a far-off farm with a retired gladiator, now farmer, who he definitely dislikes and does not have a crush on. he's vain and rebellious, a bit of a party boy, but undoing the harm growing up as royalty did to him.

he has no canon coloration atm, so anything but orange, green, or grey-range is cool. would prefer a warm-toned primary and maybe a gold-ish tert. purple in there somewhere would be great

must be a male imperial! also must have a 'shiny' secondary gene: shimmer, facet, constellation, flair, & glimmer or filigree tert is a bonus (fancy boy). prim gene doesn't matter, he'll get speckle (heavily freckled) (too broke for gem genes)

budget is ~250g, or i have eggs to trade

I need about $282 before the 15th, I have my commissions open if anyone wants to help me out that way, or simple donations would be amazing. I have memberships on Ko-Fi as well for anyone who really enjoys my work.

I wouldn't have every commission done by then, but I'll at least have sketches for commissioners to look at.

You know what would be an interesting change to gathering? If you got more items from gathering in the currently-dominant flight's territory. The implication of bounty. TBH probably not a good idea, given the state of gathering. but it'd be a motivator for dominance cos like.... if people want to gather for certain items that are only in certain flight's territories, they'd want the chance increased.

(made using the pattern here! though i made the wings with my own patterns, and downsized the head some.) little man COMPLETE! took several months to make because i FORGOT i had NO PLASTIC BEANS to fill this guy with. and then struggled with embroidering the eyes on because as it turns it out that is Very Hard to do when you've already assembled all the fabric pieces together. so. his eyes get to stay closed. permanently sleepy....
