Ngl I'm still annoyed about how Fates got rid of virtually all the genderlocked classes (except the maid/butler classes which function virtually the same, and the shrine maiden/monk classes, but those also mostly function the same except their promoted classes, priestess and great master, use bows and spears respectively) and in Subaki and Selena's supports she expresses surprise at Subaki being a pegasus knight since 'where she comes from' only 'pure maidens' can ride pegasuses, and Subaki is like 'lol that's so dumb'.

But then in the very next game, Echoes, they bring back genderlocked classes. At the time I was like 'okay it's a remake of fe2, maybe it won't carry over into later series entries that are totally new' but come Three Houses and Engage and we STILL have genderlocked classes. Hubert and Ignatz should've been allowed to be pegasus knights. Boucheron and Amber too. Nothing in Engage suggests the latter two ever particularly wanted to be pegasus knights, I just think it'd be neat. Intsys. Intsys look at me. Intsys-
