I'm working on revising the first (and second i guess?) chapter of that slay the princess x steven universe fic i was talking about writing and i just. really felt the need to draw this little scene from it.

#if you couldn't tell. i have a lot of motivation to do things today.#probably bc i actually took my adhd meds on a day when i didn't have school.#anyway all the voices are black anatase #which is a gem that isn't in steven universe so I get to decide what it is >:]#basically they were custom-made gems that were more common before pearls became more popular #they were usually made for one specific purpose or job (as in like. go do this one specific task. like y'know. go slay the princess.)#this also means that black anatase would vary visually a lot more compared to other kinds of gems #as each black anatase usually would perform a different job #but they declined in popularity and eventually stopped being made all together as gem technology progressed #and the roles black anatase would filled eventually became filled by other kinds of gems that were easier to make #which makes it really bizarre when the crystal gems eventually find not one but ELEVEN black anatase all in the same spot #anyways enough of my rambling lmao #voice of the cheated #cheated stp #voice of the hero #hero stp #stp #slay the princess #stp voices #stp au #su x stp #crossover #art #my art #rookii rambles

one piece x steven universe au where instead of being a crystal gem, luffy is sort of a rogue who flies around in a spaceship adventuring through space and making/recruiting friends on different planets and gem colonies, he was inspired by earthlings and now he wants to live freely without the constraints of gem roles and expectations (tagging this with #gem piece)
