A little gift for @askblackdiamond  Her Gemsonas Black Diamond and Black Pearl.  I wanted to draw them as I quite like their designs and characteristics.

Judge dread

(White Zircon cleaned her glasses nervously as she stood outside of Black diamonds office. White diamond had told her very little about this other diamond so she only knew what she saw during Black diamonds homeworld introduction and that was very little. She knew this diamond was shorter than White, about the same height as Blue or Yellow, had a very fancy looking pearl. The case files for the trial said she was a hands on, combat orientated, diamond that had her own laws that applied on her colony. Even if that colony only consisted of one planet. These laws were confusing for White Zircon who’d only known homeworlds laws for millennia and made this case one of the most stressful she had faced in a long time. Behind her the door slid open)

Black pearl: Welcome White Zircon. Please come in. 

(Zircon walked past swiftly, saluting the whole way, She looked up at Black diamond, who seemed so much bigger up close. She loomed like a giant shadow whos shape seemed to swallow up the light from around her.)

Black diamond: Welcome. Thank you for coming.

White zircon: It’s my honour to be here your grand, shimmering, perfection.

Black diamond: (Laughing softly) There’s no need to be so formal, after all you’re doing me a favour. Now, let’s get to business. As you know you’ll be acting as prosecution for this case. Are you prepared or do you need anything to aid you?

White zircon:  I feel I’m fully prepared, my diamond.

Black diamond: I’m glad. If you need anything during your time here you may request it from Swan. (She gestured to a very proud looking iridescent pearl .) I only ask that you treat her with the same respect you would myself.

White zircon: (Trying not to look shocked) Yes my diamond.

Black diamond: And I’m sure you’d like to meet the defence before the trial. Black zircon has been diligently working on the case in her office so feel free to visit her. She has informed me that due to a violent attempt to escape, and a complete refusal to cooperate with her, the Agate will be representing herself. 

White zircon: Oh my stars! What a brute.

Black diamond: I believe Phantom quartz would agree with you. Thankfully Rock crystal and Topaz arrived in time to aid her. 

White zircon: May I ask where all of your forces are? Do you have another colony to defend? Is there a war going on?

Black diamond: Nothing like that. We simply do not require so much of a military usually. 

White zircon: Oh of course. My apologies.

Black diamond: It’s fine. Now, until the trial feel free to make yourself comfortable.

White zircon: (Bowing and backing out of the room) Thank you my diamond. 

(Swan closed the door behind her as she followed White zircon who lent against the far wall)

White zircon: How do you face her?

Swan: I’m sorry?

White zircon: I’ve come face to face with Blue, Yellow and even the grand White diamond and I’ve never felt as if the universe were pressing down on me.

Swan: She may seem quite terrifying on the surface but she has always been very kind as far as I know. 

White zircon: I heard she crushed a planet without breaking a sweat. 

Swan: I wouldn’t know as I’m very new but I know other gems who might.

White zircon: Yes... I’ll prepare my files then I want to meet this gem. 

Swan: I will bring Black jasper to you immediately.

A pearl day off

(Blue and Black pearl had been playing the last level of their game. Blue pearl only ever showed enthusiasm in private and she grinned brightly at the screen. Black bounced up as the level complete screen flashes, and pulls Blue into a triumphant hug and the room fills with laughter.)
