I've just submitted my tax return today and i'm not gonna lie, I was screaming at the screen a couple of times! But it's done and i've paid my money! Same RWBY anon: expectations versus reality. It was a big hit, and people who loved it, loved it passionately. Then things started to not work out and people began "making excuses" versus "blame on outside influences". For example, Monty death was stated to be the cause behind it going downhill, except he literally hired the two current writers as he was pretty mediocre StyleOverSubstance guy. Maybe the lack of Style hurt RWBY, but I'd tip the hat instead to writers because there is Substance

You see, I have quite special feelings about connection between author and their work, but maybe that's not fully applicable here because he hired people to write for him, so it isn't fully an extension and expression of his soul.

If you love sci-fi films that take the effort to world-build. You will probably enjoy being mesmerised by the cinematography in Upside Down.

It’s really style over substance. 6.5/10

A cheesy love story about two lovers, separated on their two planet world. They  want to prove to the world that despite obstacles, their love will conquer. I don’t get how this film, that’s so beautiful, so detailed, forgot to spend time on the script. There’ s also inconvenient plot holes. Just choose to ignore that and watch the amazing imagery. I mean look at it!

Harvey Nichols brasserie Manchester. Nice menu but disappointing overall. Venison carpaccio with gin soaked blackberries. Looked lovely but not enough taste or texture. Also the chocolate pudding was sold as sachertorte. Couldn’t taste the apricot. I don’t mind a different version of a classic but it has to be done well. Would I go back?....why would I?
