Like a month ago I was ✨influenced✨ by some white lady on TikTok to try putting beef fat on my face instead of like….skincare products and uhhh she was right.

My skin has never looked better. It looks better than it did ten years ago when I was 23.

And my hyperpigmentation is going away because my skin finally had enough moisture sealed in it to actually heal.

I left the house without foundation on for the first time in 9 years the other day. And got a compliment while I was out, which is insane. I’ve been a hot bitch with bad skin my whole life.

Someone else said to try adding lanolin and I didn’t think it was possible but it’s only been a week and my skins texture changed to something smoother than I ever thought possible.

I am not really a person who follows social media trends but something in me said “it’s only $20 for like 16oz and if it doesn’t work you can always just use it as cooking grease.”

I don’t even know how to begin telling people in irl how well this worked because it truly sounds like something a bonkers person would do.

that manga is called Immortal Rain (also known as Meteor Methuselah), written and drawn by Ozaki Kaori.

it’s really hard to explain what’s so amazing about the series without spoiling you, but basically Immortal Rain is about Machika Balfaltin, a bounty hunter and the blonde girl in the picture, who becomes involved in the adventures of Rain Jewlitt, an immortal man with a mysterious past (he’s the guy with the pink/white hair).

the third character depicted in that picture is Yuca Collabel. at first, he seems like he’s an antagonist. and you may even hate him initially because of the things that he had done to rain and the people rain loved. but by the end of the series you WILL end up crying over the tragedy that is yuca’s entire existence, and also at how his relationship with rain/machika plays out (the three of them are absolutely meant for each other and you will think about this for DAYS AND DAYS)

there are a lot more wonderful and multi-faceted characters in Immortal Rain, but really, the series is about lonely people that just want to have someone constant in their lives, except played out like an action/adventure/fantasy series.

it’s absolutely amazing and i completely recommend that you read it
