why I haven’t been active

uh so, thankfully I’m not dying again (yippee)

Um, so I have actually been having problems with my writing and my art, specifically my art

idk if y’all have noticed, but I haven’t been posting as much art as before, since the beginning of this year I’ve only made two digital pieces, that I made for someone else, and didn’t post here.

The reason for that is because I absolutely HATE my current art style. It’s been agony trying to draw with it whenever I’m trying to make a post. So, I’ve been doing sketching and practices and I’ve gotten a style I’ve fallen in love with!

So, some questions/comments I’ve gotten irl already:

P = Person

P: Wow, looks great, but I can’t really tell it’s your art

Me:

Well, you can actually tell in the way I draw hair, specifically Lloyd’s

P: Why would you change it? Your art looks so good!

Me:

I got bored of it, I’ve always been a fan of more stylized art, and I hate doing realiztic anatomy, you can tell because I’d half ass it

P: Kind of a downgrade tbh

Me:

It’s okay, I’m not aiming for your audience anyways, everyone has their own opinions! I’m still going to use my og one from time to time so it doesn’t matter, besides, my anatomy used to be way worse

P: Why do you hate your old style so much?

Me:

Because I hated how generic it looked, I’ve already tried to deviate away from it with my ‘cartoon’ style that never stuck

P: You were inspired by Sonic, weren’t you?

Me:
