day 17 | invested in a desk so that my back and shoulders will not be destroyed come the first of december. and a few markers too, because i have time to journal again.

studying for that first math quiz 📚

pro-tip: i gain most of my understanding of the course content through class lectures, but please read the textbook! it may be a bit boring because you’ve learned most of the content, but there’s always tiny details here and there you didn’t know of or didn’t learn in class. you don’t have to spend too much time on it, but it’s a great refresher in providing a second perspective in addition to your teacher/professor.

got home after being out for my friend’s birthday celebration and gave myself the time to finally rid myself of my notes from high school cos they’re all just piled up in my bedroom cabinets :/ quite hard and haven’t really done much progress since i keep thinking i can still use these notes in the future 😂😅 anyways! here are my notes from when i was in 11th grade, back when i still tried to make my notes look good w calligraphy

so it’s almost three weeks into the semester, but i wanted to be sure of my schedule before posting anything definitive! at my high school, i’m taking ap american literature, apush, and french 4. at (community) college, i’m taking trigonometry, art history, and anthropology. but art history and anthropology are online, which is really nice. hopefully i can keep up with the courseload!

i chose to get my associate’s in sociology, because my mom said sociology was a girly major and then i went for it to spite her, but now i’m kind of rethinking that. it doesn’t really matter that much, but it kinda does if i use it to transfer to a college in the u.s. so, it might get changed, we’ll see :/

also pls someone give me feedback on this, i have no idea if it looks good or not
