100 days of productivity ↝ 1/100
think im gonna start 100 days of productivity? i've been meaning to and since i'm starting to get used to the schedule at my job now i think i can manage. my mental health has been in a bit of a slump asnit usualy is in summer but i had a v helpful therapy session and made a list of priorities that will help me get back on track. i also made a seperate one afterwards thats specifically about what i want to feed my brain. those things in order are:
1. japanese
2. coding
3. korean
4. drawing
5. sign language
for the next 100 days, my focus will be the first 3, and i will be posting more to do with the second two soon hopefully since i will be starting korean and C# classes soon.
anyway these pics are from earlier at a cafe near my house. i went to work from 5am-1pm and then studied from 2pm-4pm. i’m exhausted but i’m proud of myself.

Making a study space, with no space
Here is another new series! This is for all the students out there who feel like because they have no space they can’t have a desk, or they can’t have a dedicated study area. This series will show ways to make the most of what you have, similar to Hermione’s beaded bag!
Idea #1
Have corner, will study. Corners can be your best friend when you have little space to work with! Get a small desk, (I use this one) and a smaller lamp like the small zebra lamp seen in the picture up top! This desk is tiny, but its big enough to fit my laptop and a notebook as well as my mason jar for my pens! This is in a corner in my room, as I live in a one bedroom apartment. I have plans to spruce it up with some string lights and wall decor! I thought it would be impossible to study in a place this small, but using this space that was otherwise unused was the perfect fit!

I alternately love and hate my research position. On one hand, it’s great and I love it, and I get to do cool science all the time! On the other hand, I’m usually here for 40+ hours a week and I don’t get paid. Paid in experience I guess?

Study Tips For The Online Student
Study tip #2
Take time to breathe
Ok, so yesterday we talked about making time for school in the hustle and bustle of our daily lives. Today seems to be the exact opposite, and that's take time to breathe. Yes, make sure you take time for school, but also take some time, be it five minutes or even 5 seconds, to just be. I am not saying you need to start meditating, (that topic is for another post and another day) but take a moment, breathe in and breathe out. Just be thankful for your chance to get an education and the life you have to live. Taking this time out of your day can be invaluable, and you will start to see an increase in the quality of your work! It’s very much worth it! Catch you tomorrow my lovelies!

Study Tips For The Online Student
This is gonna be a new daily post! Each day I will post one tip for online students! Now, these can also apply to traditional, brick and mortar students but they are all from my experiences as an online college student!
Study tip #1
Make time
Ok, so you see that assignment that’s due by midnight Sunday, and its only 3pm on Monday. You tell yourself, “I don’t need to work on that, I have time! Besides I have 5,000 other things to do!” But then Sunday comes around, and you still don’t have it done. You are now scrambling around to try to get it done! Making time every day even if it is just 45 minutes to take notes on that lecture or read this weeks chapter, you will find yourself having fewer late night prayers to the caffeine gods!
