auto mechanic!sirius who shocks his customers by his random knowledge of everything. a lit teacher brings his car in and as she makes small talk, he talks about dostoevsky and cervantes and the differences he found in reading them in the original language versus english. a biologist comes in and he wows them by talking about various theories in detail and bringing in articles he had read by other biologists on the matter.

No thoughts just imagine getting hired by Satoru's parents to be his college tutor. You found the ad on craigslist, and you apply not thinking much of it. The post said something about their son being complicated to work with, but the sweet pay of $100 an hour seemed too good to turn down for a college student like yourself.

So you arrive at Satoru's place and he seems unfazed by you. "Let's go to my room, I'm bored," he says, and you quickly nod scrambling to your feet as you make your way up the stairs of his parent's mansion.

When he closes the door behind you, he quickly tosses his glasses on his bed. "So, my parents really did hire you, huh." is all he says as he takes a seat on his chair, motioning for you to take a seat on his bed.

You nod, "Yes, they wanted me to help me with your history class-"

"-I'm not too concerned about that," he takes out his phone and shows you a photo of a bombshell blonde, hugging another man. "Do you think she's pretty?" he leans in too closely for your liking and your breath hitches. "it's okay, you can say anything. she's a bitch." Satoru catches your eyes widen and laughs.

"she... she's kinda pretty..." you say, cocking your head to the side. "but that tan looks painfully awful," surprised to hear your honest words, the college boy your age laughs hysterically. "That's what I was thinking too! Tell you what, how about we go to a party in a few hours, hm? You'll get your money's worth." he grins, "Ever gone inside a corvette?"

slow cooking a lighthearted modern au where esen and baoxiang are pining after their friends ouyang and ma, respectively. but due to a ~wacky misunderstanding~ (read: chronic heteronormativity) they think ouyang and ma are dating each other—obviously that’s why ouyang is always going over to her place, right?

esen is in denial about his feelings and extremely supportive of ouyang’s relationship (he avoids talking about it or thinking about it—out of respect to ouyang’s privacy ofc). baoxiang thinks ouyang is in denial about his own sexuality and using ma (he has formulated a 12-step plan to Remove Ouyang that he will enact When The Time Comes).

then one day: baoxiang and ma are hanging out (spa day), esen and ouyang are also hanging out (sporting event(?)) and they all decide to meet up at that new restaurant afterwards. as they arrive, ma and ouyang are texting, they tell baoxiang and esen “hey my partner got us a table.” so baoxiang and esen follow them to the table expecting to see the other couple already seated there. but it’s just zhu.

(they both have met zhu—they thought she was just ma’s roommate. in reality she’s ma’s fiancée and ouyang’s queerplatonic d/s situationship.) (they also realize neither of them has ever actually seen ma and ouyang interact for an extended period of time. it becomes immediately apparent that ma dislikes ouyang and ouyang doesn’t even know her name.)

udai and akaashi facetiming over why akaashi thought it was absolutely necessary to strike out an overly-indulgent exposition scene but udai gets distracted bc why tf is akaashi. who drinks caffeinated beverages like water. who pays no heed to how well his meal of choice corresponds to the time of day/night. who he swore was deathly allergic to non-processed convenient store and non-fast food. is so obviously and so carefully meal prepping well-balanced and objectively healthy meals in cutesy matching tupper sets.

What if Riddle got so used to Floyd sleeping around/near him whenever he's studying that it became a norm and he just lets it be since at least he got some peace and quiet kAJSHKAJSh-
