as much as staying in and getting wine drunk would have sufficed scarlett , dressing up in clothes she was yet to take the tags off and going out for drinks with lana scratched the itch . alana wasn't to know that she cursed out her entire closet and declared she had nothing to wear . she was there , and highly enjoying herself and the company she was relishing in . " i just want to be kissed , y'know ? "  the dj declared as she swigged the rest of her wine . "  like not just kissed , but i want someone to put their whole soul into kissing me . like a kiss so passionate i forget my name for a solid few minutes . you feel me ? "

In Archie's opinion, you could never go wrong with an all day breakfast deal. So, naturally, Sunrise Cafe was one of his favorite places to frequent. "The waffles are to die for," he announced as he glanced over the menu. At this point, Archie knew the menu by heart, but he still liked looking at it; you never knew when something new would make an appearance. "But I would also maim someone for the French toast. And the omelets are the best around." He grinned sheepishly. "Basically, you can't go wrong with anything you choose."

kai sits slumped at the table, his forehead pressed against the cool wood, eyes barely open. the remnants of last night's drinks still linger in his veins, each pulse of his headache a reminder of the chaos he'd somehow survived. " i'm listenin', " he mumbles, voice muffled by the table, though his tone lacks conviction. with a low sigh, he lifts his head slightly, just enough to squint in their direction. " you're on a two second delay in my head, but i'm still keeping up. " kind of — he thinks.

spotted! lana and dax making official appearances at winter wonderland, they were seen showing quite a bit of pda near the bar

yeah, some off key pda as well... it was my fault for forgetting my ear plugs. do you think they know this is a family event ? oh well... perhaps it's the twinkling of the lights that makes me want to be kinder, so i won't discuss their very cliche roles as the pristine prom queen with her rugged partner. there's only so long that can be interesting. let's just hope they make it to new years !

    “   this   is   really   good.   ”  were   the   words   she   said   while   putting   her   plastic   fork   down.   although   the   weather   was   not   sin-punishing   cold,   the   hot   soup   was   just   perfect   to   help   warm   up   from   the   moderate   chilly   weather   the   sea   brought   to   coastal   towns.   she   looked   at   daniel   with   a   small   smile,   unable   to   imagine   better   company   for   that   activity   in   particular.   “  now back   to   the   gala   subject:   i   found   a   decorator   and   mon   dieu,   she's   incredible   !   it   is   going   to   be   the   most   beautiful   christmas   dinner   anyone's   ever   been   to.   ”    she   had   always   been   one   for   big   parties   and   hosting   events   for   loved   ones,   one   of   the   reasons   there   was   almost   always   someone   over   at   her   place   when   she   was   younger   and   her   father   couldn't   complain   because   it   was   just   who   vivi   was.   so   it   shouldn't   come   as   a   surprise   that   she   was   beyond   excited   for   this   event.   “  but   you   have   not   told   me   about   the   space   you   have   yet.  she'll   need   to   see   it   to   come   up   with   the   seating   charts   and   the   little   karaoke   stage.   ”  she   was   rambling   and   if   he   didn't   stop   her,   she   likely   would   keep   going.   “  oh,   and   the   guest   list.   you   need   to   write   down   the   names   of   everyone   you're   inviting   for   the   customised   invitations.   ”

was  it  particularly  cold  outside  ?  well,  no,  but  for  florida  it  was  a  bit  chilly.  still,  she  thought  a  cup  of  hot  chocolate  would  make  for  a  good  treat.  a  good  break  from  the  evening,  as  well.  she'd  really  been  trying  her  best  to  get  into  the  festivities.  “excuse  me,”  she  says  as  she  reaches  across  the  station,  reaching  for  the  marshmallows.  “uh,  your  cup.  it  looks  good  !  what  did  you,  uh,  what  did  you  put  in  yours  ?”

anxiety  gnaws  at  bones  ,  a  churning  pit  of  nausea  building  in  the  depth  of  her  stomach  as  she  waits  for  him  to  arrive.  maybe  this  was  a  bad  idea  ,  cataclysmic  even  but  she  wouldn't  deny  herself  the  opportunity  to  show  her  gratitude  for  his  courage  and  bravery.  it  was  just  coffee  ,  or  was  it  more  than  that  ?  knee  bounces  at  a  steady  pace  ,  chewing  on  plump  cherry  cola  lips  as  rich  hazel  gaze  peers  out  at  the  bustling  street  ,  she  didn't  notice  he'd  arrived  until  the  chair  scrapped  the  floor  and  she  flinched.  "  oh  —  hi  ,  i  got  you  your  drink  .  "  because  she'd  never  forgotten  his  coffee  order  in  the  time  they'd  spent  apart.
