as much as staying in and getting wine drunk would have sufficed scarlett , dressing up in clothes she was yet to take the tags off and going out for drinks with lana scratched the itch . alana wasn't to know that she cursed out her entire closet and declared she had nothing to wear . she was there , and highly enjoying herself and the company she was relishing in . " i just want to be kissed , y'know ? "  the dj declared as she swigged the rest of her wine . In Archie's opinion, you could never go wrong with an all day breakfast deal. So, naturally, Sunrise Cafe was one of his favorite places to frequent. "The waffles are to die for," he announced as he glanced over the menu. At this point, Archie knew the menu by heart, but he still liked looking at it; you never knew when something new would make an appearance. "But I would also maim someone for the French toast. And the omelets are the best around." He grinned sheepishly. "Basically, you can't go wrong with anything you choose."

maeve  knew  she  was  a  capable  woman,  so  mending  her  own  clothes  couldn't  be  that  hard,  could  it  ?  they  were  always  sprouting  holes  (  and  she  swears  she  doesn't  know  how  ),  so  it  would  be  nice  to  just  be  able  to  FIX  IT  rather  than  having  to  buy  something  new.  “shit,”  she  mumbles,  bringing  her  pointer  finger  to  her  mouth  in  preparation  of  any  blood.  “do  you  know  how  to  do  this  without  prickin'  your  damn  finger  off  ?”

it feels like a safe space — a rarity for nova. something she hadn't expected to find when she moved here a year ago. but palmview has been full of surprises, more friendships acquired her in the short time than she'd ever had in her lifetime before. " have you ever . . . " she's hesitant for a moment, but the question follows after a low sigh as she toys with the warm cup in her hand in attempt to distract, " . . . pushed something down so much you actually managed to convince yourself it wasn't real, only for it to occasionally pop back up and smack you in the face ? "

spotted! lana and dax making official appearances at winter wonderland, they were seen showing quite a bit of pda near the bar

yeah, some off key pda as well... it was my fault for forgetting my ear plugs. do you think they know this is a family event ? oh well... perhaps it's the twinkling of the lights that makes me want to be kinder, so i won't discuss their very cliche roles as the pristine prom queen with her rugged partner. there's only so long that can be interesting. let's just hope they make it to new years !

    “   this   is   really   good.   ”  were   the   words   she   said   while   putting   her   plastic   fork   down.   although   the   weather   was   not   sin-punishing   cold,   the   hot   soup   was   just   perfect   to   help   warm   up   from   the   moderate   chilly   weather   the   sea   brought   to   coastal   towns.   she   looked   at   daniel   with   a   small   smile,   unable   to   imagine   better   company   for   that   activity   in   particular.   “  now back   to   the   gala   subject:   i   found   a   decorator   and   mon   dieu,   she's   incredible   !   it   is   going   to   be   the   most   beautiful   christmas   dinner   anyone's   ever   been   to.   ”    she   had   always   been   one   for   big   parties   and   hosting   events   for   loved   ones,   one   of   the   reasons   there   was   almost   always   someone   over   at   her   place   when   she   was   younger   and   her   father   couldn't   complain   because   it   was   just   who   vivi   was.   so   it   shouldn't   come   as   a   surprise   that   she   was   beyond   excited   for   this   event.   “  but   you   have   not   told   me   about   the   space   you   have   yet.  she'll   need   to   see   it   to   come   up   with   the   seating   charts   and   the   little   karaoke   stage.   ”  she   was   rambling   and   if   he   didn't   stop   her,   she   likely   would   keep   going.   “  oh,   and   the   guest   list.   you   need   to   write   down   the   names   of   everyone   you're   inviting   for   the   customised   invitations.   ”

theodora  groans  as  her  ball  misses  the  table  completely  and  goes  out  of  bounds.  “there's  no  way–  my  paddle  must  be  DEFECTIVE  or  something.”  she  wasn't  always  a  sore  loser,  but  she  didn't  think  she  could  be  this  bad  at  something  that  looked  so  easy.  “i  think  i  need  to  ask  if  they  can  get  me  another  one.”
