ASMR
genre: smut—headcanon
words: 740
warning: auralism, mentions of voice kink, roleplay, s/d dynamics, potential hard kinks, masturbation, switch!felix, handjobs, mentions of daddy/sir/master kink, pornography plays a big role in this headcanon.
a/n: finally,,, i've been meaning to make one of felix a long time ago (i'm talking since before my undisclosed hiatus has taken over) but i just kept on procrastinating, but here i am now, pushing myself, but i do hope this doesn't seem forced. if it did, well then... i'm sorry? ig, but thats neither here or there. i hope you all enjoy it, and feedback is greatly appreciated.
chan — felix — hyunjin — han — i.n — changbin — lee know — seungmin
This is no way representative of the way Stray Kids act. They’re nothing but references of character, and in no shape or form is this how they act. And I am in no way romanticizing or glamorizing any toxic behavior exhibited, they’re just stories that is meant to be read. Readers discretion is advised.
When he is single:
Felix was definitely born to become an asmr artist, or however you want to call it. if it were up to him, he'd definitely consider it as an art form, acting even.
He definitely uses his deep voice and accent to his advantage in many scenarios.
He doesn't just strictly do nsfw work though, he also does the occasional sfw content. (but he definitely knows that his audience is fed by lust).
He uses multiple media, but he's mostly on youtube for the sfw content, and for the nsfw stuff he's mainly on the hub and reddit.
He also has patreon for tips and requests and uses twitter to release a teaser or maybe releases some hot audios just on the whim to drive his audience crazy.
He also does occasional live streams on twitch for gaming and also maybe "unintentionally" seduce other streamers and his fans with his velvety voice.
Initially he wants to remain anonymous, but, unlike bang chan, seeing how much of an income he gets, and considering how unique his voice is, he really doesn't feel ashamed of himself to show himself off. (he could argue that it garnered more attention)
however, he doesn't post himself very often, so as to not take away his audience's fantasies.
now onto the content he creates:
Felix, like bang chan, is a man of generosity and often does what he asks of his audience
however, he is mostly known for his "boyfriend" series both in the sfw and nsfw realms.
In his youtube channel, you would see his content being very wholesome, seeing titles like "baking cookies with your australian boyfriend", "cuddling with your boyfriend after a stressful day", "positive affirmation from me to you", and many more. just overall, wholesome and comforting content.
however, his reddit and pornhub account juxtapose with his youtube channel.
He is mostly known for his deep-voiced moans and groans that come along with these scenarios
You'll also see him roleplay as deep voice character, pretending to be them for the sake of his audience, even down to altering his accent for the sake of it
just picture him cosplaying as ghost from call of duty... yeah, i'm going mental
Anyhow, he is also known for his words on these asmrs, regardless if he's aiming to be the dom, the sub, or the switch in these scenarios.
"oh, yes, who's a good girl for me?"
"oh, fuck, that pussy is tight for me~"
"yes, stroke that cock for daddy... just... like... that...mmh~"
"may i come for you? please, i-i've been such a good boy-ah!~"
Felix is known to have the most beautiful voice while getting pleasured, regardless of his position.
Despite having a deep voice, he is known to have many range, can create the most adorable sounds anyone could hear.
"please, baby... please let me come in you? i want to feel all of you...hmm~"
he truly could make anyone swoon with those adorable whimper.
He uses his hands and a fleshlight mostly, but does utilize lube and edits his audios to accentuate the wet sounds and to create ambience.
When he's in a relationship:
When you met Felix, you instantly knew what he does, but you never really ventured off into the nsfw content.
He had an amazing voice, just like those content he makes on youtube, he truly can match up with real life, almost making it seem like you were getting the full package.
however, when you found his nsfw account, you couldn't help but let your curiosity get the best of you and listen to them.
To say you were turned on would be an understatement.
Felix never really tried to hide that side of him, but it was just a matter of "i'll address it when it is mentioned" type of thing, and, although he was taken aback at first when you confronted him about it, he really didn't feel ashamed when you confronted him once he realizes that you enjoyed them.
You never really encouraged him to stop, and Felix never intended on stopping anytime soon, unlike chan.
You cheered him on, and often gave him ideas for certain scenarios.
He would from time to time uses you in his audios for the sake of "ambience" and lets your quiet moans melt through the audio, which surprisingly garnered positive reception.
So he proceeded with this endeavor and is in no way slowing down.

Welcome to the Game, Player.
Yeah I turned videogame and streamer logic into actual worldbuilding. Here are my headcanons for the Minecraft Multiverse :D
This is all geared towards, shall I say, “the stuff I personally know and care about” aka Hypixel, the lore connected to Hermitcraft & Company, and lore adjacent to the Dream SMP & Associated.
Players & Worlds:
Players will Spawn in singleplayer worlds when the World itself wills them to. They begin as an empty husk of a Default, and they build their personality through their following experiences and first memories. Sometimes they are found while New by other inhabitants; Villagers may take them in and give them shelter, while hostile creatures who perceive Players as enemies will attack on sight. A Player’s first instinct is to survive the night; if they are killed in their first day of life then the chance of getting to re-spawn are exponentially low, and overall their chances of it are faulty until they set-spawn at their first bed.
A Player is unique and easily identified by the two items they Spawn with on them: some sort of bag which is customized to their personality, and a gadget stored inside it. Their Inventory and their Interface. The former is a liminal space where Players can safely store things inside without carrying their weight or shape, while the latter is a device which acts as their communicator, announcement receiver, command station, and server database. They Spawn knowing how to use both, and the database comes loaded with an index public servers in the multiverse, but it is up to them to learn how to switch Worlds.
Often, their own personal singleplayer World that they Spawn into will become their primary homebase. Though, sometimes Players may abandon it once they travel to others, or they may unintentionally lose their way back to it. This creates nomad Players, who set up shop in other public or private multiplayer servers.
Hybrids:
All Player are spawned “Default”; they will either begin with an identical appearance to either Alex or Steve (see Origins). As Players progress in the Game and develop their own unique personhood, their physical body will evolve in tandem. Very quickly their body will shift and change to suit the individual, changing whatever it wills itself to; from color to shape of any bodypart, as well as melding their own psychologically. What they end up as is usually a combination of their personality and the environment they set themselves up in. Most become some sort of hybrid of a human and another mob species; the closest to Default (human) Players remain is if they imitate the Villagers they may live with.
Families:
It is possible for a New, much younger Player to be Spawned in an already-inhabited world; those are usually children who are taken in by the veteran adult Player. The rate of this type of Spawning on multiplayer worlds can be dictated by the Admin—the demigod-esque Player who holds control over the world for the rest of its Playerbase. There are some worlds that are Closed Servers but have been active for enough centuries that they have grown their own insular societies of Players who consistently raise families of New-Spawned children. These servers are often based around the concept of Factions and are ruled by their own geopolitical systems. Perhaps the most famous insular factions server was S.M.P. Earth, home to millions spread across strict yet changing national borders, before it became defunct (a multiplayer World who’s will for a Playerbase died out after it was previously inhabited by thousands, but was later abandoned and became lost to the multiverse).
Nevertheless, a vast majority of the Playerbase were Spawned as adults and made themselves either all alone or only with none-Player, World-bound inhabitants, collectively referred to as Non-Player-Characters.
Servers:
While every Player spawns in a World of their own, Player society has built up networks of servers called Hubs. These are public communities where thousands of Players could convene for any reason, although the Admin teams of these Networks often fashioned their spaces into Minigame Hubs, centers of public competition, commerce and sport. The most well-known example of these Hubs is the influential Hypixel Network, while an outlier in these is the MCC Network, a hybrid of a closed server up until Championship Day once per year when the spectator arenas are open for public attendance of the games.
Origins:
No one knows where the legends came from, but it said that the first two Players were named Alex Mine and Steve Craft. It says that they each had their own Worlds, but Steve invented the first Interface and met Alex in her own world. It is unknown what happened to them, but it is often agreed that they died and the gods took their souls and scattered shards of them across all the Worlds. With each Player, they would spawn with perfect versions of Steve’s creations so that they could traverse Worlds and meet with each other. The next Players to have Spawned after Alex and Steve were named Sunny, Efe, Noor, Zuri, Ari, Makena, and Kai. Over thousands of following years, billions of Players spawned; each of their own beings being born out of tiny sparks of the first Players’ conjoined souls.
Death:
Admins hold power over the circumstances of death in their Worlds. By default, Worlds without Admins—such as singleplayer ones, or Worlds without anything but an Admin, such as Creative ones—or Worlds where the Admins haven’t changed it, are under Infinite re-spawn (at least once a Player solidifies their life via their first bed). However, some worlds can be set to Hardcore, where a Player only has one life and will die permanently, or some rare worlds may have a set amount of times a Player can re-spawn before perma-death; a count judged by the Admin.
Players do not age; they bare the appearance most fitting to their personality and their health on the inside is the same. Only in rare scenarios can Players become disabled via injury, usually if there is a glitch in their re-spawn or if they were hurt badly in their First Night (those who do suffer either of those, though, are expected to be given a high level of respect for managing to survive through it). All Players, such as all living beings in Minecraft, are functionally immortal until killed (N.P.C.s) or perma-killed (Players). No one knows what happens after death, but the transition of souls in governed by the Goddess of Death.
The most common belief is that a dead N.P.C.’s soul will reincarnate into a new Player, via their soul being combined with a shard of Alex and Steve, which may possibly influence what kind of hybrid the Player becomes. However, in the case of the deceased souls of Players, they are guided by Lady Death through the void until they, as a disembodied voice, latch onto a living Player they find fun or entertaining. This is how some Players gain Chats, ranging from a few voices to thousands of them. The living Player is the only one who can understand the voices, and they collectively manifest in a way often relevant to the Player’s own species, or possibly their relationship to the gods.
Deities:
There are many gods that preside over the Multiverse, but they are often grouped into:
The Prime, primordial deities who are the manifestations of natural things or abstract concepts, such as War, Nature, Death, Ocean, Chaos, Fortune, Competition, etc.
and The Presiders. It is said that these collectively are the patrons of Playerkind; the mysterious beings who created Alex and Steve as curious experiments after the Prime completed the initial building of the Worlds (initial, because the multiverse’s building is never complete. New additions to the Worlds are introduced often, courtesy of the Prime). They are the ones who scattered Steve and Alex’s souls to create the Playerbase, and they preside over the Players to this day.
However, the Presiders are split, due to their own past of Civil War—the inciters of which is unknown, but it is theorized that the break was due to a disagreement over their treatment of the Players.
Now, they are divided between two rival hiveminds, the Watchers and the Listeners. While Players call themselves by the name that the Prime use to refer to those who inhabit their Game, the Presiders collectively call them The Speakers, making them the last piece of their triumvirate.
One thing that all of the deities do, is find interest in certain Players. The Prime may choose champions; people they bless with their presence, who they speak to through a Chat, and who they recruit as their own voices amongst the Playerbase.
The Prime chooses champions, but Players cannot join their ranks as deities. However, the Presiders do not take champions; instead they can transform Players into their kin—whether willingly or not. They additionally hold the ability to choose one amongst their own to send down into the Game; in such a scenario the chosen Presider will become a Player while there, retaining their own power of Watching or Listening, but cut off from their kin until they return to the void.

💫 Join the Fediverse! 💫
Greetings, fellow bloggers! We welcome you to join us in discovering, honoring, and promoting the potential future of social networking—commonly referred to as the "Fediverse."
The Fediverse, or Federation Universe, refers to a collective of online platforms that utilize the web protocol known as ActivityPub, which has set a standard of excellence in regards to both protecting and respecting users' online privacies.
There's a good chance in the past few years that you've caught wind of the fedi family's critically acclaimed Mastodon; however, there are many other unique platforms worth your consideration...
✨ Where To Begin?
Conveniently enough, from the minds of brilliant independent developers, there already likely exists a Fediverse equivalent to your favorite socials. Whether it's an opinion from the critics, or from the community alike—the following popular websites are commonly associated with one another:
Friendica 🐰 = Facebook Mastodon 🐘 = Twitter Pixelfed 🐼 = Instagram PeerTube 🐙 = YouTube Lemmy 🐭 = Reddit
It's worth mentioning, too, a few other sites and forks thereof that are worthy counterparts, which be: Pleroma 🦊 & Misskey 🐱, microblogs also similar to Twitter/Mastodon. Funkwhale 🐋 is a self-hosting audio streamer, which pays homage to the once-popular GrooveShark. For power users, Hubzilla 🐨 makes a great choice (alongside Friendica) when choosing macroblogging alternatives.
✨ To Be Clear...
To address the technicalities: aside from the "definitive" Fediverse clients, we will also be incorporating any platforms that utilize ActivityPub-adjacent protocols as well. These include, but are not limited to: diaspora*; AT Protocol (Bluesky 🦋); Nostr; OStatus; Matrix; Zot; etc. We will NOT be incorporating any decentralized sites that are either questionably or proven to be unethical. (AKA: Gab has been exiled.)
✨ Why Your Privacy Matters
You may ask yourself, as we once did, "Why does protecting my online privacy truly matter?" While it may seem innocent enough on the surface, would it change your mind that it's been officially shared by former corporate media employees that data is more valuable than money to these companies? Outside of the ethical concerns surrounding these concepts, there are many other reasons why protecting your data is critical, be it: security breaches which jeopardize your financial info and risk identity theft; continuing to feed algorithms which use psychological manipulation in attempts to sell you products; the risk of spyware hacking your webcams and microphones when you least expect it; amongst countless other possibilities that can and do happen to individuals on a constant basis. We wish it could all just be written off as a conspiracy... but, with a little research, you'll swiftly realize the validity of these claims are not to be ignored any longer. The solution? Taking the decentralized route.
✨ Our Mission For This Blog
Our mission for establishing this blog includes 3 core elements:
To serve as a hub which anybody can access in order to assist themselves in either: becoming a part of the Fediverse, gaining the resources/knowledge to convince others to do the very same, and providing updates on anything Fedi-related.
We are determined to do anything within our power to prevent what the future of the Internet could become if active social users continue tossing away their data, all while technologies are advancing at faster rates with each passing year. Basically we'd prefer not to live in a cyber-Dystopia at all costs.
Tumblr (Automattic) has expressed interest in switching their servers over to ActivityPub after Musk's acquisition of then-Twitter, and are officially in the transitional process of making this happen for all of us. We're hoping our collective efforts may at some point be recognized by @staff, which in turn will encourage their efforts and stand by their decision.
With that being stated, we hope you decide to follow us here, and decide to make the shift—as it is merely the beginning. We encourage you to send us any questions you may have, any personal suggestions, or corrections on any misinformation you may come across.
From the Tender Hearts of, ✨💞 @disease & @faggotfungus 💞✨

I always appreciate just how much Arenanet/Guild Wars 2 puts into making a difference in kids' lives each year for what can be-- really scary for kids to have to go through in hospital visits to feel better. They always deserve the best that life can give, and any chance we can to help that is a beautiful thing. 🧡
Last year, I participated in Extra Life as a streamer, and donating to the cause whatever I earned. I thought it would be cute and fun to have the opportunity that my cat kiddos might show up in the game someday, so I jumped on that particular opportunity. I didn't know when they'd be added, and I didn't really care. The donations were and always will be for the kids.
On September 12th, I had to say goodbye to one of my cats. It was the hardest thing I've had to do in all my life so far, but Ellie's at peace. I remembered what I had done last year, and thought to go looking for her and her brother, who's still with us, in Tyria. I found them in the Snow Leopard lodge, Desmond and Ellie, hanging out by the hearth. I had forgotten that I asked if they could be someplace toasty. The placement is purely coincidental that they're hanging by a brunette norn lady too, that I could see as myself hanging with them; even if this NPC has been sitting here staying toasty for well over a decade at this point.
I didn't have the foresight then, but I'm so glad I can have this little comfort forever.
Thank you, ANet, for taking the time to put so many loving and lovingly-loved pets in the game. This means so much to me.
-- As I understand it, Extra Life pets are added to their requested towns as well as expansion hubs? If anyone finds them in the Janthir Wilds hub map, I'd love to see.

0000 series SCPs - This is a man who thinks he is a statue and will live forever, and apparently he's right. Sub-200 words total. Good.
7000 series SCP - a 30000 word interview with a Twitch streamer that is a ghost. There's 3 videos, 4 audiologs and an ARG. In lieu of containment procedures, here's a hyperlink to the article hub for our total-not-an-oc-insert super special MTF that's composed entirely of quirky loose cannons. If you haven't had at least 3 erotic RPs with the article writer and their polyarmourous "research assistants" you're not going to understand a fucking thing that's happening. It's all the multiverse horseshit of a Marvel movie with all the character depth of Homestuck OCs. The article ends with a hyperlinked "Welcome to the team" link to another, unrelated, story hub.

I think I should probably apologize for my reaction to GrandFest. I did not have a good time because of extenuating circumstances.
I was already fearful that Team Past would win because I saw so many twitch streamers and YouTubers promoting this theory that winning would result in potential lore of the Great Turf War. And that felt deceptive and misleading because it was based on NOTHING.
I don’t like it when people mislead large groups of fans into believing something because I’ve seen this happen time and time again and it ALWAYS ends in resentment and people bemoaning “wasted potential.”
So I was already going into the fest with trepidation.
Then I had to go to the ER on the first day.
I missed the entire first day of playing. And because I didn’t know you’d be able to re-visit Grand Fest after it was over I was getting stressed out over this fear of missing this huge event.
I spent the majority of Saturday recovering from my ER visit, where I was only able to play a handful of matches. And while I did manage to win a 100x and a 10x battle for Team Present, I was so distracted and out of it that I had a miserable time playing the other matches.
Then on the final day I had something come up unexpectedly and I missed my chance to play in the morning… and then to add insult to injury my internet cut out for the final hour. I barely had a chance to play 3 matches that day before it was all over.
And then it was a Team Past sweep.
Despite Team Present being the most popular team, Team Past just DOMINATED the entire event. Poor Team Future got NOTHING. I think seeing that Future got nothin made it feel even worse. Like it was rigged or that Twitch streamer/YouTuber talk about wanting more lore caused Team Past to just kick our asses.
It was just bad experience after bad experience piling on top of me. And it sucked because I loved the Grand Fest hub. It was AMAZING to have so many songs being performed each with their own dance choreography. To have the change of outfits at night. To see the event become even more spectacular. And then to see the calming aftermath.
I WANTED to enjoy this to the fullest. But because of dumb circumstances I wasn’t able to fully appreciate it or contribute much. And that left me bitter and angry and resentful.
I’ve gone back and deleted most of my initial reactions to Team Past winning and the end of Grand Fest. But I just felt like I needed to get this off my chest. I’m so sorry for being a buzzkill and being so rude to everyone after it ended.
I think I just needed some time to process it all. Being able to go back to Grand Fest whenever I want thanks to amiibo definitely helped. Like I said in another post, I really wish I had known that would be an option because it would’ve lessened the pressure I was putting myself under to enjoy this timed event. At least now I can take my time and roam around and just appreciate the magnitude of this event.
I’m still annoyed Team Past won, but it is what it is. I have faith in Nintendo and the Splatoon dev team to come up with something awesome one way or another.

Whoops
hello generation loss enjoyers. it has been several months since the release of ranboos project, how have yall been? im going to be insane.
Many folks have known me as the lminal space connosieur, dead malls and fucked up houses in particular being my strongsuit for both their sex appeal and the amount of symbolism they can all hold.
Watching Gen Loss with my friends through a hostage situation was a wonderful experience! upon the reveal of the Showfall Media offices being inside a rented out mall, there was a split second where I was a bit unamused at the lack of effort put into integrating the mall's architecture into the studio's office. There were only a few empty stores being used with at the bare minimum some chairs and desks, half the mall was still closed, the mini maps stands were still up, and the food court's usage as the streamers hub was very just. like. thats a whole ass food court. without the people walking around the only way to actually know what the hel this was being used for was the giant white banner that just said showfall media like a fraternity's house claiming its territory.
But then, as the episode 2 closed out, almost instantly it hit me why. why the mall was still a mall, why there was little to no integration for the set- it was on purpose. it was supposed to just be a studio crammed inside a mall. a dead mall, to be precise.
first lets get into the anatomy of what makes a dead mall dead. Around the 1980's a rise in popularity of the commercial supermalls began to spread, the american consumerist dream was rampant with a greater demand of fast fashion, merchandise, and all kinds of strange trinkets for the average american to waste their money on. It was capitalism's wettest dream, but as the years went on there came a steady decline in popularity. Sometimes the competing businesses ended up putting each other out of stock, maybe the trends began dying off, and in certain areas consistent crime rates drove away costumers.
Then in the mid 2000's the stock market crash ended up pushing several people into poverty, the lower class unable to afford the luxury goods offered at shopping centers. Then online shopping took society in a deathgrip, further pushing away the desire for in-public purchasing. Brands took notice and began selling online-exclusive products. In the late 2010's the sightings of several "dead malls" were on an alltime high, some being left to rot while others were demolished all together in favor of empty concrete spaces.
Corporate response to this was one of two things; continously invest in the "Anchor Stores" (big chain stores like Macys or Forever 21 that brought in more customers, usually stationed at the ends of the mall). Meanwhile the smaller businesses inside would be shut down one by one to save costs, until eventually the anchor stores themselves would be forced to leave. Sometimes the Anchor Stores would leave beforehand, not wanting to waste money investing in a deadend location. the decline is faster, the mall rots quicker. The company sells the lot to the biggest buyer and destroys what little remains.
Then there are times where the mall itself is sold off to another bigger company, in hopes of more funds to rejuvenate the center. Majority of the time the mall will enter a large reconstruction designed to look more appealing, mor modern. In actually, the personality of the malls architecture is stripped like the skin of prey. The colors and vibrant shapes of the late 1900’s, the waterfalls with rocky beds and marbled beige tiles, all replaced in favor of sharp black on white edge and stainless steel fencing. The occasional shrub here or there, maintained by automation. Lights too bright, all glimmer, all space. Sometimes it works, sometimes the mall is reborn as the pinnacle of luxury again! Sometimes it rots in shiny chrome, a corpse dragged along in the hopes of attracting attention. All it does is stink and bloat, a miserable display.
I hope you begin to catch what im saying.
In Generation Loss, the Showfield Social Experiments are commentary on streamer culture and the damaging relationship between a content creator & their platform. Visualized by Ranboo being pushed into dangerous scenarios for the sake of entertainment, their disposable friends forced into the flat archetypes the fandoms have labeled them as.
They were all vibrant young folks once, bright with personality and that raw humanity filled with flaws and voice cracks. Shitty microphones and inconsistent uploads, some were barely finishing high school. Then they became big, almost too big. They were characters now, and just like Ranboo’s teammates the perception of them as humans were dumbed down to memorable trademarks. Streamers and Content Creators alike had to be marketable now, and when the time comes where they lost their popularity sometimes they sign off to groups and organizations to help boost them up again. They are stripped of their rawness again. Theres a reason their artforms are called “content”.
So it makes sense that Showfall Media, the personification of the content creators downfall, would do the same to a Mall. The corpse of the center is repurposed loosely to fit the studios purpose. It is empty, it is hollow, it is dead. Low costs, big risks- just like Gen Loss Ranboo.
basically
Content Creators are Dead Malls.
#this is gonna be the only gen loss post i make in a While since im doin cowboy au stuff#but erm <33#i love dead malls. somuch#\sorry ranboo for looking too deep into thisi AURAGH#generation loss#ranboo#genloss ranboo#gl ranboo#gen loss#dead malls

BTW these two exist in the same au :)
Before Tao could go full time as a streamer, they worked in Bai Shen's little community hub to get some more income, and Bai Shen has a soft spot for them.
During the LBD arc, when Bai Shen is possessed by LBD, Tao was the first to notice they were missing.
(Also Tao is crouched in this. they are verrrrryyy tall really.)

It was a good attempt
Hey friends. I've had something eating away at me for a while now; I was going to give it a bit more time, but the anxiety around not talking about this is getting to me, so I'll just be direct.
I'm leaving tumblr (sort of).
Without being too melodramatic about this: I've had a lot of complicated thoughts about social media, fandom, the internet in general, being an artist/streamer online, and a bunch of related stuff over the past few years. It's always hard to sort out these thoughts properly, and even harder to talk about them, because I don't want anyone to attack me or assume I'm treating my personal experiences as universal, or belittling something that's important and meaningful to them. I will say I firmly believe that for many people, the modern internet is more harmful to mental health than we're all willing to admit. But I also know it's a great source of connection and friendship where I've met some of the people I love most. If I had a more solid black-and-white conviction or thesis about these complexities, I wouldn't be struggling so constantly to make sense of it all, and the internet's place in my life.
That said, the evidence of my own life points to the fact that the less "online" I am (at this point in my existence), the happier I am. That the remaining sources of self-loathing depression in my life are almost entirely triggered by the internet. That social media is a disaster for my OCD. For many months, I was hoping tumblr would be different. It's not. Realizing that the same old problems I have were just going to resurface here again was a painful process, one I kept denying.
I thought I'd be fine if I only checked in once or twice a day, but the more I do that, the more I find it hard to get myself to check in at all. Because when I do, I feel like I just can't keep up with everything anymore. I don't feel like a part of anything, I don't feel wanted or needed, and it just exacerbates my problems.
But I'm not going to disappear completely. I'll still pop in from time to time and answer any asks, and maybe post doodles. My art account @altermentality will still be active, when I have something worth posting.
You can still find me on twitter for now, and bluesky, but my presence of being truly "active" socially online will be limited to:
Discord- because I enjoy the few smaller, private-ish servers I'm in, and it's my hub for keeping in touch with people one-on-one.
Twitch - At this point in my life, I still greatly enjoy streaming, although my capacity to do it reliably varies. I also love the communities I'm in that I've developed with other streamers.
I'm altermentality on all the places mentioned above. If you'd like to keep in touch, please reach out.
My queue will run until it runs out.
It's been fun and I wish you all the best. Be well.

04.11.2024 - Status update!
Hey!! You're being too quiet!! Whats going on over there!! Well, good question- lets get into that:
Things are going slow! There are multiple reasons for that. First, we took on a load of side work this year to keep the lights on. Second, we're moving apartments right now, with very sudden and short notice!! Third, we have two projects and half the team is absent because of sickness! Bad news for project productivity, indeed.
Other Projects
Theres some cool stuff going on here! People who keep up with our Facebook page may have seen that we're currently collaborating with Likestillingssenteret (The Centre for Equality), Ungdom og Fritid (Youth Work Norway) and streamer MarinaaD on the multi-year educational project Trygg Gaming (Safe Gaming) on how to build safe and equality-minded gaming spaces for youths and discourage hateful conduct! This is our second time collaborating with Likestillingssenteret and MarinaaD, and we are supplying the project with some gaming and game design expertise, as well as our knowledge on the queer subset of game and gaming culture. Additionally, we have had the honor of supplying the campaign with its visual design, much helped by the center's in-house media team!
Other than that, we have some updates on the game development scene in our hometown of Hamar! I was invited to participate in a small project group to map out the potential for establishing a new hub for game development studios in the region, alongside the capable hands and minds behind Sarepta Studio, Encircle Games, Raidho Games and Snowleaf Studios. Last week we presented our proposition to the other businesses in town. Big things are happening, and i advice any game developer in town to keep their ears open!
As well, Global Game Jam Hamar 2025 is right around the corner! Like '23 and '24, buying a ticket to the event ensures you an event t-shirt designed by yours truly. Operations here are now in the hands of the freshly established Hamar Game Events... which is to say, its the same group as before but under a new name! Its gonna be loads of fun, and i hope to see some of y'all there :D
Life and stuff
Earlier this year Åge got very sick, and has been unable to regularly join me in the office. This has affected development greatly, as i am unable to work on Fangst by myself- and i can only do so much graphical work before the pile becomes too much to implement for a two person team.
Then a month ago we got an email that our apartments are getting torn down in favor of a new block project!! Poor luck!! So in short, now we're moving. We should be relocated by December, hopefully before the snow starts setting in.
Teknokrat > Fangst
The main point of this blog post, really. So, given that half the team is sick for the unforeseeable future, what are my options? I have little chance of finishing Fangst in any defendable state by myself, and we do not have the means to hire or outsource.
I decided i should focus on giving Fangst a fighting chance by releasing an self-driven project before it, which ended up being Teknokrat.
So here i am, making an unfiltered gay romance sci-fi visual novel. I write, code, make the art and the music. The rawer and raunchier the better. This should help us gain experience with a commercial release, and help us find our audience. Its lack of workforce and budget will be both its strength and weakness. And when its out, we will be readier for Fangst than we ever were earlier!
I'm very excited for this one- its currently resting at a comfortable 15k script length, soon in a demo-worthy state which will get an early playtest run in our Discord before being dropped on Itch and Steam.
If you havent heard about it before, its about class warfare, cyborgs and techno! I hope you'll look forward to it :3
In the meantime, consider Fangst on hiatus until Åge is able to rejoin full time. This doesnt mean their unmistakable creative flair will not be found in Teknokrat, however! Åge is helping me with design, marketing and planning- as well as lending me their video editing expertise. Get well soon, your presence is missed!
Twitter is dead!!
We moved that branch of our social media operations to Bluesky. Hit us up here! We're also here on personal accounts, and are really enjoying our time here so far. Live updates can as usual be found through our Discord.
_______________________________
OK! I think thats most of whats been happening lately. As always, i hope you're all well, and that you know we appreciate your patience and enthusiasm for our projects! Talk soon, when Teknokrat is looking more ready for sneak peeks!
-Hauk
