Ive seen the age old question of “which fictional world would be the worst to live in” again and saw a good point made by announcerofgames on TikTok(they are also on youtube and make good warhammer stuff and good halo reviews, check’em out) that technically what is the worst is subjective.

There is the obvious answers like halo where circle-shaped planets destroy you, warhammer 40k is constant bad no matter what, and all the zombie apocalypse of left 4 dead…but he also mentioned how sitting on the crayon drawn seats would be uncomfy in blues clues and how in spongebob you watch the same lesson be learned over and over again.

Oddly enough this angle makes some worlds even more scary.

Let’s take mlp:fim/g4 mlp for a first example, where the world is filled with magical creatures and such, magical sentient beings aswell! Depending on when you are born into this world, you could be enjoying the era of starswirl and all the chaos that comes with that, you might be young enough to see the entirety of g4 happen before your eyes, all the villains, all the chaos, all the enforced order, all the changes to sentient species in your time (diplomatic wise or even physical looks wise).

Thats not even taking into account being born as anything else then a pony, you could be a changling born into the world, and depending when, you could really see the differences in the ages of time periods, kirin, the mermaid/flying ponys of those islands, the yaks, the griffins and their innate greed that they have to battle with every day, the dragons who always has a new rulelr depending on who wins the race, the smaller creatures that do their beet to fly around.

Not to mention all the pests that also have their own magical benefits and sometimes weird ways to deal with them.

For the second ,Pokemon, of course the dex entries show us the dark side and such, but every person who cant respect personal space with a cat or a chihuahua will learn very fucking quick that this world bites back ten times harder in varying ways due to typing.

Third example I will personally wanting to think about is splatoon, sure its probably the best option among these three, a post human world where while you still have to of course participate in the system, the system supports you doing what you love, which has led to the evolution of turf and such, but I have a hunch that sometimes the species of splatoon, do feel like they have some high standards to live up to, the peak of humanity, the good and bad is probably taught from whatever scraps they can find, I bet for some that would be a heavy weight to bare.

The 230 case in the supreme court in the USA is the most important thing to pay attention to right now. Its honestly scaring me how much this could impact myself and other content creators. Right now Im panicking over what my only career path will look like in 4 months if the supreme court does what it always does and fucks everything up…

If you havent heard whats going on, I’d suggest watching what Legal Eagle or Phillip DeFranco posted about the Supreme court and the future of the internet. Basically they’re debating the ability to sue a content platform for the content its users post on it, basically treating youtube’s suggestion algorithm as youtube “creating” the content, making it liable for everything its algorithm recommends… this could destroy Youtube’s ability to host videos in the way that we know it, limiting search and recommendation functions, or at worst forcing Youtube to limit who can even post to its platform. Its scary to even think about what might happen to small creators without an established subscriber base… no one new would see your videos, only people who actively search it out, or who already follow you…

TL:DR — If you live in the USA, please pay attention to the supreme court and do whatever you can to influence them to keep the freedom rights of these platforms!! Sign petitions, call your Rep’s, please do whatever you can to keep platforms like Youtube and Twitch alive!!
