I think it’s funny that Dazai is usually so cat coded but when he’s with Chuuya he becomes an over excited puppy and Chuuya is a grumpy cat who hisses a lot

I'd be interested to know how you're defining cat-coded and dog-coded because I wildly disagree.

Dazai is very feline in how he conflates negative and positive attention with regard to Chuuya, and the individualistic way he delays communicating or looping Chuuya into what he's doing (although he immensely improves on coordinating with others between the ages of 16-22; Stormbringer and Meursault are night/day re: Dazai's approach to trust and coordination).

And I think Chuuya's grumpiness is less dispositive than how well he falls into the prescribed role Dazai's given him, the loyalty with which he protects and expresses concern for Dazai in the field, and the way he responds to cues in Dazai's moods.

Cats can be loyal and responsive, too, of course. But it's the way Chuuya immediately turns from Lovecraft to chase after Dazai when Lovecraft threw Dazai; and the way Chuuya is calm and attentive while maintaining space from Dazai while Dazai processes in Meursault. There's an emotional intelligence, responsiveness to cues, and support/anchor role that Chuuya takes towards Dazai (in the field/where it matters) that always reminds me of a service dog.

When I think of characters as animal coded, it's less about their moods (any animal can be excitable or grumpy), and more about their behavior, how they respond (substantively, not just superficially), and to what they respond.

Danyal Al Ghul doodle dumps from my Danyal Al Ghul Au. I was thinking about Him earlier today, and thus decided to draw him. Tis good headshape practice, and just drawing practice in general. You can spot the time difference not by the lighting but by the fact Danny suddenly has curls. Plus an honorary colored version because it twas one of my favorites

ok i absolutely adore mirawwis and i think their art is fantastic but i didn't rip off their design lol

since i drew up the sketches for his design in like,, dec or jan i dont really remember the exact process i had for his design but i do know i took more elements from catwoman designs for him, like the goggles and the cat ears. like the only reason i changed it into a cat beanie instead of the hood was bc i have a cat ear beanie lol. plus i didnt rlly wanna put him in a regular skin tight body suit like she has so hence the leather jacket

baby afo would've never given his mother a moment of peace if she had raised him. he would've been one of those babies that tries to tear down the door when the mother wants to go to the restroom for three minutes. only he's a baby that has the power to so mom just watches him melt the door and walk in asking to be carried.

Honestly, I really WANT to be delusional enough to believe that Bram will be back and safe and happy so that he can adopt Aya together with all her other dads and (potential) parental figures and also live a (way) long(er) life (undead life? death? idfk) but... yeahhh.

I feel that all of the people that died recently, he's the only one that won't come back :(
