Sanji X Reader, Sanji X Y/N, One Piece X Reader
Sanji POV..
I must have dozed off in Y/N’s room, because suddenly the ship’s motion changed and we had arrived at Zou. The familiar sound of Brook’s voice roused me from sleep. “Sanji? Where are you?”
I stretched my arms and got up from the comfort of your bed. The room still smelled faintly of you, and I took a moment to tidy up your bed, leaving it just as you had it. Sighing, I glanced around one last time before heading out to the deck.
“There you are,” Brook greeted me, still holding his tea. “Get changed. We’re heading out to explore.”
I nodded and made my way back to my quarters, my thoughts consumed with worries and hope for you. As I changed into my usual attire, I muttered to myself, “Mosshead, I can only hope for your sake, I get Y/N back.”
After getting dressed, I joined the others on the deck, ready to explore Zou alongside Caesar.
Y/N POV…
As we dashed through the chaos, Zoro glanced at me. “Luffy, is that squawking peacock guy a friend of yours?”
“Oh, you mean Cabbage?” Luffy answered, clearly unbothered.
“Yeah, Cabbage. What an odd name for someone too!” I said, trying to catch my breath.
“He’s a real weirdo, huh? I met a whole bunch of people at the Colosseum,” Luffy said.
“Well, at least we aren’t being chased—that’s a relief,” I said. But just as I finished my sentence, our path was blocked by a swarm of citizens and pirates hunting us down.
“Damn, spoke too soon,” I muttered.
“There they are! Make sure the princess is caught too!” one of the men shouted.
“Don’t let them get away!” another yelled.
Grabbing one of my blades, I activated its power, the electrical current mixing with the bright yellow light. Luffy used his Gomu Gomu Whip to kick attackers away, while Zoro employed his Two-Sword Style Rhino Cycle to blow his opponents back. I focused on my attackers, and with a determined smirk, I drew on my blade’s power. “What’s she going to do? She’s surrounded!” one of the men said.
I grinned, clenching my left hand to activate its power and forming a circle. “Now, Rush!” I commanded. A surge of electricity shot through the crowd, causing them to fall one by one.
“We’re still dealing with more!” we shouted in unison.
“What’s the plan, Luffy?” I asked.
“If we handle this mob, we’ll be here all day,” Zoro said, knocking down another opponent.
“He’s got a point,” I agreed, taking down another attacker.
“There you are, Strawhat!” a voice called out from the debris.
“Luffy, do you know him?” I asked.
“Uhh, thought so! We need to go!” Luffy said urgently.
As we fled, I struggled to catch my breath. “We’ve got more company!” I yelled.
Looking at Zoro, I tried to lighten the mood. “If we get out of this one, I’ll work out with you and spar for a week,” I said with a smile.
Zoro smirked. “Looking forward to that!”
Just then, Luffy turned around. “Just go away already!”
“Hey, stop all three of you!” the man shouted as he lunged toward us. “Y/N, look out!” Zoro yelled, pulling me out of harm’s way to avoid being crushed.
The man began to laugh. “Just hear this old man out for a moment. I wanted to let you know I have forgiven the grudge I held against your family,” he said.
“Luffy, I didn’t know you and him go way back,” I said.
“We are here for one thing: to eliminate Doflamingo’s immoral business. We don’t care about the money. A puny bounty like that is mere change for us,” said the man next to the old man.
I let out a breath of relief, placing my hands on my knees. “Well, that’s a relief.”
The old man placed his hands on Luffy’s shoulders. “I must thank you and your friend God Usopp, who rescued me in my darkest hour.”
I turned to Zoro. “Looks like Usopp really outdid himself.”
“That’s why I’ve decided to repay my debt to the Straw Hat crew by obliterating Doflamingo and his monarchy,” the old man said.
“Huh, you too? The only guy kicking his ass is me!” Luffy retorted.
The old man’s expression darkened. “Speak up. What did you say?!”
“You heard me. I said don’t bother!” Luffy shot back.
Just then, the floor rumbled beneath us. “Strawhat! I was searching for you,” a giant’s voice boomed.
“Oh, the giant guy,” Luffy said.
“I say we bury the hatchet between us. As a proud warrior of Elbaf, I’ll slay Doflamingo for God Usopp,” the giant declared.
“Huh! Get lost, I said I got this!” Luffy insisted.
“Now, boys,” I said, as Zoro grabbed my wrist, halting me. “Just wait one moment. I’m here from the Providence Kingdom. We long owed King Riku an enormous debt. I’ll bring down Doflamingo with my own two fists!” he vowed.
More people began to approach us, eager to take down Doflamingo thanks to God Usopp.
“You really attract some oddballs, huh Luffy?” Zoro and I said in unison.
“You’d be a fool to forget about me!” Cabbage said, riding in on his horse.
“Ehh, not this guy again?!” I said, moving closer to Zoro.
“Hey, are you all serious about helping?” I asked, stepping forward.
“Ah, Princess, might I say you look dashing in red,” the old man said.
I raised an eyebrow. “Uh, thanks?”
“Alright, now this is getting annoying,” Zoro said, scratching his head. “What if we do it this way!” he yelled. “Us three will handle taking down Doflamingo, while you guys watch our backs. Sound okay?”
“Absolutely not!” they all yelled in unison.
“This might be a tough negotiation, Zo,” I said, giving him a playful nickname.
“Forget it, there are way too many egos involved,” Zoro said, clearly frustrated.
I agreed with him. “Alright, everyone, listen up! I’m making the call here!” Luffy said, raising his voice. “If anyone’s going to kick Doflamingo’s ass the way it needs to be kicked, it’s going to be me!”
“What did you say?!” one of the men barked, grabbing Luffy roughly.
As I moved to intervene, a spear flew through the air and stopped me mid-step. “What the... a spear?!” I exclaimed, looking in the direction it came from.
“That’s where they were!” one of the voices said. “Splitting up all those bounties could be quite the haul!” said another.
“And the princess is looking rather good for someone with that high of a bounty,” another man added, making me step back uneasily.
“Let’s get that bounty!” one of them shouted.
“Weren’t they the toys from the factory?!” another man exclaimed. “Bastards, how dare they!” said another.
“You ungrateful swines, I’ll see you in hell!” roared the giant as he dealt with the hunters.
“Let’s go, guys!” I urged, turning to Zoro and Luffy.
“Yeah,” Zoro agreed. Just then, a bull charged out of the alley.
“It’s Ucy!” Luffy shouted. “I’ve got an idea!” With determination, Luffy led us to climb onto the bull’s back, and we started racing through the streets.
I clutched the tiara tightly as it began to slip. Zoro noticed and moved closer, his hands finding their way to my legs to secure me on the bull. His touch was firm and reassuring, and I could feel his warmth. “Hold on tight,” he said with a teasing grin. “Wouldn’t want you falling off now, would we?”
“Thanks, Zoro,” I said, trying to suppress the blush on my cheeks. “I appreciate the support.”
Law, still in sea prism stone handcuffs, glared at Zoro from a distance. His eyes were filled with frustration and jealousy. “I should be the one protecting her,” he grumbled under his breath, unable to hide his irritation at seeing Zoro so close to me.
"Master Pika! I spotted the Strawhats! They came right to us! Don’t let them get away!" one of Pika’s subordinates shouted as they began firing at us.
“What, Strawhat!” the old man’s voice boomed.
I turned slightly, still gripping my tiara, Zoro's arms tightening around me for security. “Looks like they followed us here, huh?” I said with a sigh.
“Huh, I told ya, I got this! Get lost!” Luffy shouted, as more and more of the group caught up, trying to attach themselves to the bull.
I shook my head, placing a hand on my forehead. “Well, this is... eventful,” I muttered.
“Luffy, what should we do with all this extra weight?” Zoro asked, his grip still firm on me.
“You bonehead, stop talking trash!” came Pika’s high-pitched voice, which caused all of us to burst out laughing in unison.
“Why is he so squeaky?!” we chorused, unable to hold back our laughter.
Pika’s face twisted with rage, launching a massive attack toward us. “Hope it was worth it! You’ll be laughing in your graves!”
Just then, two of our new allies sprang into action, managing to shatter Pika’s arm with their attacks. Zoro and I exchanged impressed glances.
“Way to go, guys!” I cheered, a smile spreading across my face.
But the celebration didn’t last long, as the bickering resumed almost immediately. The arguing over who would kill Doflamingo first started again, their voices rising over the sound of the crumbling debris.
“Why does it always come back to this?” I said, rolling my eyes as I looked at Zoro, who shared the same exasperated expression.
“Yeah, well, at least they managed to break something useful,” Zoro added with a smirk, still holding onto me as if it was second nature.
As the debris began to fall, Lucy (the bull) managed to dodge them with ease. "That was close. Yeah, giddy up!" Luffy shouted, excited to be riding the bull.
"Easy, boy, we’re all counting on you!" said one of the men on Luffy's side.
"Ah!" I yelped as I suddenly noticed a few more of the men clinging onto the bull. "When did they get here?!" I exclaimed, trying to keep my balance while still holding onto my tiara.
"Ah!" I gasped again, feeling Zoro’s grip on my leg tighten, his hand moving slightly higher.
"Zoro!" I whispered sharply, my face heating up.
"Relax," he said with that familiar, lazy grin. "Just making sure you stay on the bull."
I rolled my eyes, muttering under my breath, "Yeah, right."
Luffy, completely oblivious to the tension, was laughing as usual. "Zoro, hold on tighter! This ride’s getting crazy!" he shouted, clearly enjoying the bull ride and trying to get the men clinging to us off.
"Oh, don’t worry, Captain, I’m holding on real tight," Zoro said with a smirk, causing me to blush at his comment. His hand on my leg felt both reassuring and heated.
"Don’t worry, Y/N, I’ve got you. Wouldn’t want you to fall off now," Zoro said, his eyes taking in my figure with a lingering gaze. The way he looked at me made my cheeks flush even more.
"You sure it’s not because of something else?" I teased, though I couldn’t help but smile faintly at his possessiveness.
Law, clearly frustrated and feeling a pang of jealousy, shot a glare at Zoro. "Roronoa, can you stop gripping her like that?"
Zoro’s smirk didn’t falter. "Hey, I’m just making sure she’s nice and secured. Wouldn’t want her to fall off with all this chaos going on."
Law, still handcuffed and unable to join the fray, grumbled under his breath. "Yeah, well, try not to enjoy it too much."
Despite the chaos, I found some comfort in Zoro’s presence. His confident grip and protective stance provided a sense of stability amidst the turmoil.
As we continued the wild ride, I leaned closer to Zoro, feeling the warmth of his body against mine. "Thanks, Zoro. I really do appreciate it."
Zoro’s eyes softened slightly as he looked down at me. "Just doing my job. And keeping you safe is part of that."
As the allies continued their fierce battle against the subordinates, we dodged bullets and struggled with the chaos around us. The argument over who would take down Doflamingo escalated, and tensions were high.
"He’s mine! Go away!" Luffy shouted, his frustration evident. Suddenly, rose petals began to drift down around us, settling on the bull and us.
"When did these get here?!" I exclaimed, brushing one off my hand.
"Haha," came a familiar, infuriating voice. "There’s no way…" I muttered, recognizing it immediately.
Cabbage appeared, landing gracefully on the bull’s back. "Cabbage!" Luffy said, clearly irritated.
"Ah, not this guy again?!" I said, trying to distance myself from Cabbage.
"Destiny, conquested its melody, bringing me back," Cabbage declared dramatically, holding a rose aloft. His gaze shifted to me, and he reached for my hand, pressing a theatrical kiss to my knuckles. "Princess, have you reconsidered my offer?"
"What part of ‘I’m not interested’ wasn’t clear?!" I said, exasperated.
Cabbage completely ignored me, leaning closer with a smirk. "Ahhh, such a feisty young princess. I could get used to that."
Before I could react, I felt a sudden jolt and found myself seated firmly on Zoro’s lap. His strong arms wrapped around me, his grip tight and commanding.
Zoro’s eyes narrowed, and he glared at Cabbage with a fierce intensity. "What the hell do you think you’re doing, Cabbage?"
Cabbage, undeterred, attempted to pry me away from Zoro. "Princess…" he cooed, reaching for my hand.
Zoro’s grip on my waist tightened even more, his hold almost possessive. "Don’t you dare touch her," he growled, his voice low and dangerous. "She’s not going anywhere with you."
Cabbage’s persistent kisses on my hand only intensified Zoro’s protective stance. His hands remained firmly on my waist, making sure I was securely held against him.
"Get off me!" I demanded, trying to wrench my hand free from Cabbage’s ironclad grip. Despite my efforts, his hold remained unyielding.
Cabbage’s gaze was unwavering, his smirk persistent. “Ah, such a spirited princess. You’re even more captivating when you’re resisting.”
Zoro’s eyes flared with anger. “I said don’t touch her. Let go of her now!” His voice was a growl, filled with authority and frustration.
Cabbage’s grip didn’t waver as he leaned in, his eyes locked on mine with an intensity that bordered on obsession. “Princess, you and I are destined to be together. Why resist such a fate?” His tone was both fervent and invasive.
I struggled to keep my balance on Zoro’s lap while desperately trying to shake off Cabbage’s unrelenting hold. “Are you out of your mind?!” I snapped, my voice a mix of frustration and disbelief.
Law, glaring at Cabbage with palpable anger, tried to intervene. “Cabbage, get your hands off her!”
Despite Law’s threat, Cabbage remained undeterred, his focus solely on me. Zoro, his protective instincts fully activated, tightened his grip around my waist, his expression a blend of concern and possessiveness.
Seeing the situation escalate, Luffy acted swiftly. With a powerful kick, he sent Cabbage flying off the bull. “Get lost!” he shouted, his irritation clear as he watched Cabbage hit the ground.
Cabbage landed roughly, his face contorted in frustration as he glared up at us.
“Thanks, Luffy,” I said, relief evident in my voice as I tried to steady myself.
“Don’t mention it,” Luffy replied, his eyes still fixed on Cabbage. “The guy was being a creep.”
Zoro, still holding me securely on his lap, looked at me with a protective concern. “Are you okay, Y/N?” His voice was soft but edged with a possessiveness that was hard to ignore.
I nodded, managing a small smile despite the chaos. “Yeah, I’m fine. Thanks to you.”
Zoro’s gaze remained focused on me, his hand still firmly around my waist, ensuring that no one else could get close.
I took a moment to check my belongings, my mind racing with the need to ensure everything was still in place. “Rings, check. Bracelet, check. Anklet, check. Swords, check,” I muttered to myself, feeling a wave of relief wash over me as I confirmed that everything was secure.
Cabbage’s grip had been surprisingly strong, and with the tug-of-war between him and Zoro, I needed to make sure my rings and other items hadn’t fallen or been misplaced. Satisfied that everything was still intact, I took a deep breath and looked around, grateful for Zoro’s unwavering support and Luffy’s timely intervention.
As we continued to ride the bull, the allies and Cabbage remained hot on our tails, their bickering with Luffy about who would take down Doflamingo only escalating. The commotion around us seemed endless.
Feeling a mix of exhaustion and frustration, I laid my head on Zoro’s shoulder. "This constant bickering is getting out of hand," I sighed, closing my eyes briefly to collect my thoughts.
Zoro’s grip on me tightened slightly, his presence offering a comforting sense of stability amidst the chaos. "Tell me about it," he replied, his voice steady and calm. Just then, our unexpected guests froze, their bickering cut short. "What is it now?" I said, clearly annoyed. We all turned to see Pika towering before us, his massive form looming over. "I won't let you get near Doffy!" Pika growled, his arm regenerating and growing back to full size again.
I sighed, glancing at Zoro. "What a pain," I said, watching Pika’s arm slowly piece itself back together. The bull, Ucy, charged faster up Pika's arm as Luffy jumped off, ready for a fight.
"Mr. Strawhat!" one of the stowaways shouted in panic.
I smirked. "Don’t worry, he's got it!" I turned my attention to Luffy, who was already in full battle mode. "Third Gear! Armament Hardening!" Luffy shouted as his fist, now enormous and hardened, landed a clean hit on Pika's head. The impact was tremendous, and Luffy laughed triumphantly as Pika reeled back.
Zoro, meanwhile, carefully released me from his grip, his eyes narrowing with that sharp intensity he always had before a fight. He rolled his shoulders, getting ready.
"You sense something, Zo?" I asked, my gaze softening as I watched him. There was something captivating about him in moments like this, the way he stood so confidently, always prepared to face whatever came next.
"Hey, Luffy!" Zoro suddenly shouted, drawing my attention back. Luffy was running alongside Ucy, laughing as usual. "Don’t celebrate just yet, the head you shattered was a stone decoy!"
“What?" I whispered in surprise. "So, does that mean squeaky got away?"
Zoro smirked as a massive figure emerged from the stone. "Well, well, looks like somebody’s pissed off. His real body’s up ahead!"
"You mean to tell me that huge guy is Pika—and he’s got that squeaky voice?!" I said in disbelief.
"He's got a huge katana! It’s not too late to turn around!" the unwanted guests on the bull screamed, clearly terrified.
Luffy grabbed Ucy—and us—leaping into the air just in time to dodge Pika’s colossal strike. "Hahaha, that voice gets me every time!" Luffy laughed, despite the danger.
"He's going to hit again!" someone yelled. Instinctively, I reached for my blades, preparing to defend us. But Zoro’s hand was already on mine, stopping me.
"Zoro, what are you—" I began, but he cut me off.
"I got this," Zoro said, his voice steady, never taking his eyes off Pika. His grip on his swords tightened, his entire body exuding confidence.
"Zoro..." I said quietly, concerned but trusting him completely.
"Y/N, stay with Luffy and Law!" Zoro ordered, his tone firm yet protective. "I’ll handle it from here!"
I nodded reluctantly as Luffy and I settled back on Ucy, the bull charging forward. "Be careful, Zoro!" I shouted after him as his figure grew smaller and smaller in the distance.
The guests, tears streaming down their faces, looked on in awe. "God, you have such badass friends," one of them cried.
Zoro smirked, glancing back one last time. "You go get him, Captain!" he yelled toward Luffy, before turning his full focus back to Pika.
"I'm gonna give Mingo the beating he deserves!" Luffy declared with fire in his eyes.
Minutes passed, and Ucy was gliding gracefully downward, inching closer to the palace. "Woohoo! Go, Ucy!" Luffy cheered, clearly exhilarated by the ride.
Taking advantage of the moment, I clenched my left hand, activating its power. With a burst of energy, I adjusted my balance on Ucy and leaped into the air, gracefully shifting to sit beside Luffy and Law. The unexpected guests below stared in awe, unable to hide their amazement. "How did she—" one of them exclaimed, while the other murmured, "She really is lethal!"
Ignoring their stunned reactions, I focused on Law, who was still in his cuffs, lying on the bull. I gently took a seat next to him, placing a hand on his forearm with a flirtatious smile. "You don’t mind if I sit next to you, do you, Law?" I asked, my fingers lightly tracing his arm. "I thought I'd offer a bit of company."
Law’s initial surprise was quickly replaced by a soft blush as he felt my touch. He flexed his forearm slightly, trying to appear nonchalant despite the rosy tint on his cheeks. "Comfort is always welcome, even in these circumstances," he replied, his voice betraying a hint of flustered amusement. "Especially when it comes with your company."
"Just you wait, Mingo," Luffy declared, his fist clenched in determination. "I don’t want anybody kicking your ass but me."
"Hey, Strawhat," Law said, grabbing Luffy's attention. "I realize we have no choice but to kill Doflamingo now." I reached for one of my blades from the thigh halter, feeling its familiar energy channel within me.
"I know that’s not the plan we had earlier," Law continued, his voice filled with resolve, "but to be completely honest with you, I want to make him suffer with my own hands. I won’t let him defeat me again."
Law hesitated for a brief moment, and I gave him a reassuring nod with my other hand. "Thirteen years ago, there was a person I cared for deeply, and Doflamingo killed him," Law said, his voice filled with pain.
"Law..." I whispered, my heart aching for him. I couldn’t imagine the suffering he must have endured.
"His name was Corazon. He was a top executive for the Donquixote Family."
I was stunned. Glancing at Luffy, I saw he was also processing this new information. "Mingo killed his own friend?" Luffy asked, incredulity in his voice.
"Corazon was the man who saved my life," Law continued, his gaze unwavering. "Corazon was more than just a member of the Donquixote Family. He was... his younger brother."
My hand went to my mouth in shock. "He... killed his own flesh and blood?" I whispered, unable to fully grasp the magnitude of Law's revelation.
Before I could say anything more, one of the unwanted guests interjected, "This is it, Strawhat! We are about to reach the bottom, and we have unexpected guests too!"
As Ucy glided down, I slowly rolled my shoulders, wincing slightly from the bullet wound on my left. I clutched my blade tightly, ready for action. "Yeah, we are the first ones to make it!" Luffy said, his excitement palpable. "That means we get first dibs on Mingo!"
"That’s what I’m talking about, Captain!" I said with a smile.
"Fire!" Luffy commanded as another round of bullets rained down on us.
"Allow me, Luffy," I said, smirking. Clenching the blade with my left hand, I felt the familiar fire blaze around it. With a swift motion, I leaped into the air, heading straight toward the subordinates. As I swung my blade, the bullets transformed into blazing fire, redirecting their trajectory back toward the enemies.
With precise control, I guided the fiery projectiles to impact the subordinates, sending them scattering in retreat. The flames danced around me as I landed gracefully back onto Ucy, “You made it look easy!” Luffy grinned, clearly impressed.
I chuckled, brushing a stray lock of hair from my face. “It’s all about confidence and control.”
Law, his cheeks slightly flushed, watched me with admiration. His eyes were wide with awe as he took in the display of power. He couldn’t help but smile, though his face betrayed a noticeable blush. “That was... incredible,” he managed, his voice tinged with genuine admiration. “The way you control the flames... it’s something else.”
I glanced at him, noticing his reaction. “Thanks, Law. I’m glad you think so.”
His blush deepened as he spoke, making it clear that he was both impressed and somewhat flustered by what he had witnessed. “You really have a way of standing out,” he added, trying to sound nonchalant but failing to hide his admiration.
One of the unwanted guests, still trying to process the spectacle, stammered, “Did she really just turn those bullets into fire? That was incredible!”
We finally made it to the palace, still riding Ucy with the wind rushing past us. "Only an idiot would mess with the Strawhats!" exclaimed one of the unwanted guests behind us. I turned around, glancing at them in disbelief. “And why are they still here?” I muttered to myself, shaking my head slightly.
Luffy, clearly fed up, chimed in. "The idiots behind me can hit the road too!" He shot a look over his shoulder, causing them to nervously chuckle.
“Come on, Strawhat, you don’t mean that! We’re your buddies!” they said, laughing nervously.
I sighed, turning toward Luffy. "Looks like we’re stuck with them, huh?" I said, shaking my head in exasperation.
Before Luffy could respond, a voice shouted from the front, "Die, Strawhat!"
“Gomu Gomu no Stamp Gatling!” Luffy called out as he launched into a series of rapid-fire kicks, each one landing squarely on the faces of the subordinates ahead of us.
Amid the chaos, a sudden crackle on the transponder snail grabbed my attention. "Strawhat Luffy, Law, and the princess are all at the front part of the palace!" a subordinate yelled, trying to alert the others.
Without hesitation, I clenched my left hand, the fire still blazing within me, and fired a burst of flame straight at the transponder snail, hitting it dead-on. The subordinate yelped in fear as the device burst into flames.
“We won’t be needing any of that now, will we?” I said, turning my gaze back with a smirk.
The unwanted guests stared at me, wide-eyed and stunned. “She really is lethal!” they said in unison, admiration mixed with fear.
I just rolled my eyes, clearly unimpressed by their reaction. “Alright, let’s go!” Luffy shouted, full of energy. Ucy picked up speed as we continued toward the palace.
Sabo POV…
The heat of the flames surrounded both me and Fujitora, the air thick with tension and embers. He stood there, calm as ever, but I wasn’t backing down. "I don’t suppose if I asked nicely you’d move out of my way?" Fujitora asked, as if this were some casual conversation.
I grinned, flames flickering around me. "I suppose not. I stand with the Strawhat Pirates and those who’ve risen up to join them. So, if you or anybody else gets in their way... you won’t be taking another step." I wasn’t just speaking for them—I meant every word. I’d be damned if I let anything happen to them. The groans of fallen soldiers echoed in the background, a reminder of the destruction my previous attacks had caused.
"Is that the Revolutionary Army’s job?" Fujitora inquired, still maintaining his calm demeanor.
"It is now," I responded with a cocky smirk, standing tall. "And I think I can say that, seeing as I’m the Chief of Staff." My voice held firm, but there was something deeper in my words. "More so, I say that as a brother."
The marines were stunned, whispers circulating through their ranks. Fujitora remained unphased, but I could tell he was curious. "I see, that begs the question of who your sibling might be," he mused, still calm, even as chaos surrounded us.
The marines began cocking their guns, preparing for another pointless assault. "Don’t bother," Fujitora interrupted. "I know he’s our enemy, but you'd only be wasting ammunition."
"But Vice Admiral—!" one of the marines protested, looking between me and Fujitora.
"You’re leaders, right?" I said, flames swirling around me. "None of you stand a chance."
Just then, a marine, not heeding the warning, fired a shot at me. The bullet was no match for the Flame-Flame Fruit’s power; my flames absorbed it effortlessly. I smirked, relishing the surprise on their faces. "Told ya," I said, glancing at them. "I ate the Flame-Flame Fruit."
The marines stood there, stunned by the revelation. A few more bullets followed, but they all met the same fate—burnt to ash before they even touched me.
"What the hell, man!? Nobody’s fingers should be that strong!" a marine shouted, his voice shaky with disbelief.
I chuckled, feeling the power surge within me. "These aren’t fingers—they’re claws." With a swift motion, I grabbed one of their weapons and crushed it like it was made of paper. Then, with a flick of my wrist, I sent a Fire Fist crashing into the marines, flames erupting and engulfing the area. Some fell immediately, unable to withstand the heat.
"Physical attacks don’t work on him!" one of the vice admirals shouted as he launched his own attack, swinging a sharp cleaver in my direction. I caught it mid-strike, stopping the blow with ease before breaking the cleaver in half with a single motion.
I smirked again. "By the way, once these claws grab a human skull, they can shatter it like an egg."
Before I could follow through with another attack, I felt something—a sudden shift in the air. A meteor. Fujitora’s doing, no doubt. The Birdcage sliced it into pieces before it could fully descend.
"Ah, man, should’ve thought that one through," Fujitora said, his tone almost amused.
I emerged from the smoke, holding onto the vice admiral’s mask. "I know admirals are nothing to scoff at, but that’s one hell of a trick." I wasn’t hiding my admiration, though I made it clear I wasn’t backing down. "I’m still getting used to my new powers," I said, flashing a confident grin.
"You’ve really caused quite the mess," Fujitora commented, though I could tell he wasn’t entirely blaming me.
"Not half as much as you," I shot back, incredulous at the destruction around us.
Fujitora’s eyes softened, as if recalling something. "You mentioned your duty as a brother. It reminds me of Fire Fist Ace. He said that Strawhat Luffy was his brother, though not by blood. Are you his brother?"
His question hit me harder than expected. Memories of Ace, Luffy, and I flashed through my mind—the day we exchanged sake cups, the bond we swore to never break. "The three of us… exchanged a cup of sake. Even in death, our bond will never break," I said, my voice steady though the weight of the memory pressed down on me.
Fujitora remained silent, listening.
I clenched my fists, feeling the familiar pain of not being there for Ace when he needed me most. But this time, I swore things would be different. "Mark my words," I continued, my eyes locked with Fujitora’s, "no matter where I am, or what I’m doing, even if I have to abandon my duties, I won’t let him down. I’ll be there for Luffy."
Fujitora seemed to understand the depth of my promise. But this wasn’t over yet. His next move was coming. I could feel it.
As his first attack launched, I readied myself, gripping the metal pipe tightly in my hands. The flames engulfed me once more, power surging through me.
"Luffy, I swear… I’ll protect you," I thought, as the battle began again.
Y/N POV…
"Go! Go! Go!" Luffy’s excitement radiated as Ucy barreled forward, knocking down subordinates like they were nothing more than mere obstacles. I tightened my grip, not wanting to be thrown from the bull with all the chaos unfolding around us.
"Luffy? What’s that ahead?" I squinted as the debris began to clear, trying to make sense of the figure coming into view.
Suddenly, Ucy halted abruptly, throwing me forward into Luffy, while Law—ever quick—caught me from behind, softening the impact before the two unwanted guests behind us could knock me over entirely.
"Oww!" I groaned, rubbing my head, feeling the weight of my tiara, making sure it was still secure.
"Cabbage!" Luffy shouted.
I stared, completely stunned. "Oh, you have got to be kidding me!"
Before I could fully comprehend the absurdity of the situation, I felt a hand settle firmly on my waist. Looking down, I saw the familiar "DEATH" tattoo on Law’s knuckles. His touch sent a jolt through me, not just from the contact but the possessive energy behind it.
"Don’t worry, princess," Law said, his voice low and dripping with possessiveness. "Even in these sea prism cuffs, I’m not letting him try anything." His tone was both protective and slightly irritated, adding a layer of tension that made my heart race.
I glanced forward and, to my absolute disbelief, Cabbage was there, sitting tall on his white stallion, with a rose in his mouth like some ridiculous storybook hero.
"This man can’t be for real," I muttered, barely able to believe my eyes.
And then, in true dramatic fashion, Cabbage pulled out a megaphone. "Pardon me, but I'll be taking the lead!" he announced loudly, as if we were all here just to witness his grand performance.
"You mean to tell me he actually has that?" I said, shaking my head in disbelief.
Cabbage's gaze landed on me, his voice filled with exaggerated charm, "Why, princess, it seems destiny keeps placing you in my path. Could it be fate that brings us together?" His declaration was loud enough for the whole world to hear.
That was it.
I clenched my blade tighter, feeling the familiar surge of energy pulsing through it. My patience was thinning by the second.
"You idiot!" I snapped. "Why don’t you just scream it to the heavens while you’re at it? Are you trying to get me taken?!" My frustration echoed through the battlefield, as I gripped my blade, ready to unleash its energy if I had to.
Law’s hand on my waist tightened, his presence grounding me, but I could still feel the tension radiating off him. He rolled his eyes slightly at Cabbage’s antics.
Cabbage simply laughed off my frustration, as if my outburst was nothing more than a playful jest, before charging ahead on his white stallion, heading straight towards where Doflamingo was waiting.
"Damn it! I thought I was taking a shortcut for sure," Luffy groaned, his eyes set on Cabbage speeding off. "We gotta pick up the pace, Ucy!" He urged the bull forward, but the gap between us and Cabbage was widening.
Just then, I noticed the crowd we had left behind earlier was now catching up. "How are they catching up to us?" I muttered in disbelief.
"This sucks! We’re losing!" Luffy growled, gritting his teeth in frustration.
As if on cue, the subordinates started firing again. "Shoot the bull!" one of them yelled. Ucy bucked and dodged as bullets whizzed past us, causing all of us to bounce precariously. We clung to Ucy as best as we could, but the wild movement was making it harder to maintain grip.
"Damn these idiots!" I cursed, feeling my grip slipping. Just then, a figure launched himself at the attackers, throwing punches left and right.
"Hey, crapbags! Keep your paws off Strawhat!" the man shouted, knocking subordinates down with each hit.
"Luffy, you know him?" I asked, squinting at the guy in confusion.
"Not a clue," Luffy replied casually.
The man let out an exaggerated groan, clearly offended. "Why, you're breaking my heart, Strawhat! I was in Block C, remember? It's Kelly Funk!" He pouted, trying to jog Luffy’s memory.
Luffy blinked, clueless. "Who?"
Funk let out an exasperated sigh. "Your buddy God Usopp saved my tail today! Just bein' friendly!" he explained, landing another punch on someone sneaking up from behind.
"Anyways," Funk continued, "I found a shortcut you can use! It'll take you right to the Sunflower Field and straight to the palace!"
"Really?!" Luffy's eyes lit up with excitement. "That's awesome! Thank you so much!"
"Yeah, thanks!" I added, trying to maintain my grip on Ucy. But as Funk turned around and his eyes met mine, his cheeks flushed a deep pink.
"Wh-Why… Pr-Princess…" he stammered, swallowing hard. "I… I must say, seeing you in person is truly a rare sight indeed."
I raised an eyebrow, surprised at his sudden bashfulness. "Why do you say that?"
"Because… when I saw your name pop up on Doflamingo’s list, I couldn’t believe it! Might I say, red really does highlight your features more." He smiled nervously, clearly flustered.
I returned a polite, short smile, feigning sweetness. "Can you take us to this shortcut you found?"
"Of course! It’s the least I can do! Right this way!" Funk exclaimed, still blushing as he led the way.
As Ucy continued to follow Funk, I leaned closer to Luffy, lowering my voice. "There's something off about him, Luffy," I murmured, glancing at Funk suspiciously. "I don’t trust him. Keep your guard up."
Luffy looked at me, confused. "Huh? You think so? He seems helpful."
I narrowed my eyes at Funk’s back. "Just a gut feeling. Let’s stay sharp."
As Funk led the way, I was still processing the unexpected situation when Law’s voice cut through my thoughts. “Hey, Strawhat, we need to find the keys to the cuffs. There’s no point in reaching the palace if I can’t fight. At this rate, Doflamingo will just kill me.”
Luffy paused, his expression thoughtful. “Eh, it’ll all work out. Or at least I hope it does!” He said, chuckling to himself.
Law’s frustration was evident. “What if it doesn’t? If we don’t win this fight, then we’re all dead!” His voice was a mix of urgency and annoyance.
Sensing his mounting frustration, I stepped closer to Law, placing a reassuring hand on his arm. “Hey, don’t stress too much,” I said, offering him a teasing smile. “We’ve handled worse. And if anyone can get us through this, it’s Luffy.
Law looked at me, his frustration softening slightly. “You make it sound so easy.”
I leaned in a bit, my fingers lightly brushing against his arm. “Well, it might be easier if you stay calm. I’ve heard that a little distraction can go a long way.”
His eyes widened slightly as I gently traced a finger along his cuff. “A distraction?”
I flashed him a playful grin. “Yeah. You know, just to keep your mind off things. It might help you stay focused.”
Law’s cheeks reddened a bit as he tried to maintain his composure. “And how exactly do you plan on doing that?”
I chuckled, giving him a flirtatious look. “Oh, I’ve got a few ideas.
I started, but before Law could respond, Funk abruptly stopped and revealed the passageway. “There’s something unsettling about this,” I said, eyeing Funk suspiciously.
“Luffy? Are you sure about this?” I asked, still feeling uneasy.
“It’s our only shot to the palace faster, Y/N,” Luffy said confidently.
I glanced at Funk, then back at Luffy, and sighed. “Alright, captain, if you say we should trust it, then let’s go.” I smiled, trying to push away my concerns.
“Ucy! Let’s go!” Luffy called out as we entered the narrow tunnel. The unwanted guests, who had managed to hit their heads on the entrance, tumbled off the bull.
“Ah well, we didn’t need them, did we?” Law remarked, glancing at the two fallen guests.
“Nope, no turning back now. To the sunflower field!” I said encouragingly as we continued riding Ucy.
Just then, we heard the sound of a transponder snail. “Looks like it’s coming from your pocket, Law,” I said, noticing the source.
“Get it,” Law instructed. I reached into his pocket, retrieved the snail, and handed it to Luffy.
“Hello, this is Luffy, the man who’s going to be the King of the Pirates!” Luffy announced with his usual enthusiasm, causing me to chuckle at his exuberance.
“Hi Luffy, it’s me,” came the familiar voice.
“Robin!” we both exclaimed, relieved to hear a familiar voice from our crew.
“Right now, we’re at the plateau, same as before. And you?” Robin asked.
“We’re at the bottom of that other plateau, on the way to some sunflower field,” Luffy replied, keeping his focus on the path ahead.
“Good news, Viola found the keys to the cuffs. Let’s meet up,” Robin said.
“Oh, thank goodness!” I said, breathing a sigh of relief. “Let’s hurry.”
Law, visibly relieved, looked hopeful. “This is Leo, from the Tontatta tribe. Soon, Ms. Rebecca, the rooster guy, and Robin will be heading over there at supersonic speed,” Leo added.
I couldn’t help but gush at his adorable voice. “Aww, his voice sounds so adorable,” I said with a smile.
With that, we ended the call. “It’s pretty dark down here, huh?” I said, looking ahead.
“See, it all worked out!” Luffy said with his characteristic grin.
“Yeah, by coincidence?!” Law retorted, still visibly frustrated
I gave Law a teasing smile, leaning in despite his cuffs. “Progress is progress, and you’ve definitely earned this,” I said softly before pressing a gentle kiss to his cheek, leaving a faint red lip stain.
Law’s face immediately flushed with color, and he shifted uncomfortably, unable to touch his cheek due to the cuffs. “Y/N…” he stammered, his usual cool demeanor cracking under the sudden affection.
I chuckled at his reaction, finding his flustered state endearing. “You look cute with a little blush on your cheeks,” I said, enjoying the sight of his reaction.
I said, enjoying the sight of his reaction. As I turned my attention forward, I heard Law’s concerned voice.
“Hey! One second, feels like this passage is sloping down,” he warned.
Suddenly, we found ourselves in a flooded area. “Turn back! This place is flooded!” Law said urgently.
“Crap,” I muttered, glancing around at the rising water. “I knew I had a bad feeling about this,” I admitted.
“Huh? I thought this was a shortcut to the top of the plateau?” Luffy questioned, his confusion evident.
“It’s a dead end!” I said, trying to think quickly. “We gotta get out of here now!” I commanded, urging Ucy to navigate out of the water.
“Wait, you guys hear that?” I said, my senses alert as slow footsteps approached.
“This is nothing more than a sideways water well, more of a trap if you will,” a voice echoed through the passage.
“It’s…” I began, clenching my blade tightly.
“It’s Doflamingo!” Luffy said, his voice filled with determination.
The tension in the air was palpable as Doflamingo’s presence became more pronounced. I felt a mix of anticipation and anxiety, readying myself for whatever confrontation lay ahead.

I had asked for fic prompts for Sanji's birthday and @woodenela had suggested "maybe Sanji cooking some North Blue dishes? Either his favourite for himself or something Sora liked" and "some good old straw hats pampering Sanji on his birthday despite him fighting it tooth and nail" so I kind of...combined those and came up with this!
(And I didn't quite make it for his birthday but I hope you enjoy regardless... No pairings, just Strawhat-centric fluff, set at some point shortly before the time-skip)
A frustrated shout from the galley was what greeted her as she pushed the door open, and while that level of volume on the ship wasn’t necessarily abnormal, usually Luffy was somehow involved and Nami had seen him a mere five seconds earlier tinkering with one of Usopp’s inventions so she knew he couldn’t be the culprit this time.
The sight of Sanji hunched over the table, running one hand through his hair with enough fervor to completely tousle the golden strands, was far more unnerving than if Luffy had managed to sneak into the fridge again.
“Sanji-kun?”
“Ah, Nami-san!” he sat up immediately, his face brightening, but it still lacked the normal enthusiasm he would typically address her with. “Do you need something from me, my darling?”
“I was just coming in to grab some water…”
She barely had the words out before he was zooming past her, and the protest that she could have gotten it herself died in her throat when she saw what was on the table.
It was a piece of paper, a hastily-scrawled list of ingredients and a few haphazard star-shaped drawings littering the sheet, and somehow she knew that this was the cause of Sanji’s emotional outburst.
And while she doubted that asking about it would result in any kind of a straight answer, that wasn’t going to stop her from trying.
“What are you working on?”
“Oh! Ah…” Sanji paused, fingers gripping the edge of the countertop like a lifeline. “Just coming up with some new recipes! Nothing you need to worry yourself with, my dear!”
“Okay,” she decided to let the subject drop, though she didn’t believe him for a second.
-
“He’s from the North Blue, right?” Usopp tilted his head, trying to decipher the words written on the page.
“Why is that important?” Nami was shuffling through books in the library, the pile beside her increasing in size as she quickly discarded almost every one that she opened.
“Well, his birthday’s tomorrow,” Usopp replied, idly scratching his nose. “Maybe it’s some sort of traditional dish? Or something he remembers from his childhood?”
“His birthday?” Nami stopped stripping the shelves of all their books and blinked at him. “How do you know?”
“He mentioned it once and that’s the sort of thing I remember,” Usopp leaned back in his chair, staring at the ceiling. “We do talk, you know.”
“Right,” she heaved a sigh and dropped down beside him. “Okay. We’re set to make landfall in the morning, so what are the chances we can pull this off?”
“Well, it’s not really complete,” Usopp went back to looking at the sheet. “But this combination of spices can’t be that common. If we could just find a reference that’s close…”
“Usopp, you’re brilliant! I’ll talk to Robin,” Nami snatched up the sheet and zoomed away, leaving Usopp to realize in slowly-dawning horror that it was now apparently his responsibility to put the books away in the same order she’d removed them.
-
Robin wasn’t exactly expecting the local Grand Line bookstore to have a book specifically on North Blue cuisine, but the employees were decidedly unhelpful and couldn’t even point her in a useful direction so she was stuck scouring the shelves by herself.
Since Nami’s search of the library had been fairly fruitless (and Sanji would have likely started there anyway), she’d volunteered to do some research while the rest of the crew kept Sanji thoroughly distracted until dinnertime.
They’d managed to come up with a decently long list of spices from the outline Sanji had provided, and Robin’s best guess was that it was meant for some sort of stew or curry.
Luckily, the shop did have books on that, but she was running out of time and--after a quick glance to make sure the shopkeeper was otherwise distracted--using her abilities to page through several books at once seemed like the best option.
She was about halfway through a rather dense edition entitled Stews of the Four Blues when a page with a photo of star anise caught her attention, and thinking back it did bear a striking resemblance to the doodles that Sanji had added to the original sheet…almost like he was trying to picture that exact page in his mind’s eye.
The rest of the spices lined up as well, and given the time…
Well, they’d have just long enough to get it ready before dinner.
-
“I can take those.”
“You what?”
“The bags, idiot,” Zoro immediately regretted his choice of words because Nami had made it clear they had to be nice to the cook today, but that wasn’t exactly his normal way of interacting with him.
“Why?” Sanji took a step back, immediately suspicious, and Zoro briefly considered knocking him out with the hilt of one of his swords and dragging the bags away by force but that seemed like the opposite of ‘being nice’ so he quickly dismissed it.
“I’m going back to the ship anyway,” he tapped the toe of his boot against the ground. “I need a drink and I don’t have enough extra money to buy more booze.”
“Well, I’m not buying you any, so whatever you drink you’ll have to replace,” Sanji still wasn’t passing over the damn bags and Zoro was reaching the end of his patience.
“Yeah, yeah,” Zoro held out his hand and Sanji slowly--eventually--handed them over, prompting Zoro to make a hasty retreat so as to avoid prolonging the conversation any more than it already had been.
Nami owed him big time for this.
-
“Saaaaaaanji! Food!” Luffy wasn’t exactly a master of distraction, but all Nami had told him was to keep Sanji away from the ship and lunch seemed like a great way to do that.
He launched himself at Sanji, wrapping him up in a rubbery hug.
“Food! Food! Food!”
“Okay; okay,” Sanji had been looking at a stall selling some fresh fruit but he staggered awkwardly away with Luffy still wrapped around him. “Can’t you bug Usopp or something?”
“He’s busy,” Luffy pouted, and honestly, he was pretty proud of his acting job right now.
“You’re paying for your own food,” was all Sanji said, and Luffy finally unwound himself enough to grab Sanji’s hand and lead him in a direction that he hoped was away from the ship.
Mission complete.
-
“Hey, Sanji-bro!”
“Franky?”
And okay, maybe Franky shouldn’t have just stopped in front of him since walking into a wall of metal would knock anyone back, but he managed to catch Sanji before he landed ass-first on the pavement.
“You busy?”
“Not exactly, but I was…”
“Cool! You know how to play guitar, right?” Franky had seen him plucking away at his guitar more than a few times when he was sure Sanji didn’t think anyone was looking, and the flush on his pale cheeks only confirmed what he already knew.
“I mean, I…”
“Nah, don’t worry about it!” Franky clapped him on the shoulder, again realizing that any normal human would probably be thrown off-balance by the force of his hand and hauling Sanji back to his feet. “Found a music shop and I was looking at grabbing some new strings. Wanna come with?”
“Sure?” Sanji still seemed more confused than anything, but he didn’t protest, so Franky guided (see: probably pushed too hard again) him into the shop.
-
“Sanji-san!”
“Hey, Brook,” Sanji walked over, the slightest slump to his shoulders the only indication that his energy was low. “What’s up?”
“Nothing to worry about! I just discovered a lovely tea shop around the corner, and since you’re one of the only people on this crew that appreciates a good cup of tea, I was wondering if you’d like to join me?” he half-bowed, extending a skeletal hand in the direction of the shop.
And Sanji looked…relieved, almost, which made Brook wonder what sort of ‘distractions’ the rest of the crew had tried to implement.
Still, there wasn’t anything inherently stressful about drinking tea, so he was sure Sanji would be able to relax for the next little while.
“Yeah. Thanks,” Sanji smiled at him, hands stuffed in his pockets as he followed Brook to the shop.
-
“You’re sure I can grind all of these?”
“Yep!” Nami had the book open on the table, reaching to tie her hair back while she studied the recipe. “Some of them have to go in whole but all of those should be good to go.”
“Okay!” Chopper grinned, happy that he could use at least a bit of his medical knowledge to help out here. Sure, it wasn’t exactly the same, but he knew how to use a mortar and pestle and he wanted to join in as soon as he heard Nami’s plan.
Usopp was working on the rice and Robin seemed to be generally supervising, and between the four of them Chopper knew they could pull this off.
He added the mixture of cardamom, peppercorns and fennel seeds to the mortar and set to work, determined to do a good job.
Sanji was going to love it.
-
It was nearing dinner by the time Sanji made it back to the ship, and while he hadn’t seen anyone from his crew since leaving the tea shop with Brook, they’d been unusually persistent all day and he was starting to wonder if something was up.
The galley lights being on only furthered those suspicions, and while his first instinct was to be annoyed that someone was invading his space without his permission, the smell wafting through the door was startlingly familiar and he had to clutch the door frame to keep his knees from getting weak when he realized what it was.
Because it was something he hadn’t smelled in over ten years, and before he could think to collect himself he was already pushing through the door, hands fumbling for his lighter because he really needed a cigarette right now.
The first breath he took once he was in the galley proper almost brought tears to his eyes, and he barely registered the joyful shouts of ‘Happy Birthday!’ or Luffy’s high-pitched explanation that there was cake, too, and flatbread but they didn’t make cake or the flatbread because ‘Nami said we couldn’t bake anything so we had to buy it and…’
“So who said you could use my kitchen?” he finally managed to clear his throat enough to talk, his voice noticeably shaky, but then he had to fend off Luffy, Usopp and Chopper from trying to tackle him and eventually he just gave up and let them drag him to the table.
“Sorry, Sanji-kun,” Nami looked a little sheepish. “Robin was overseeing things, though!”
“Ah, well, if there’s anyone I would trust in my domain, it’s my lovely ladies,” he was speaking almost on autopilot, his senses still overwhelmed, and if he closed his eyes he could imagine himself sitting at the table while his mom…
Yeah. Unless he wanted to start sobbing, maybe now wasn’t the best time to get lost in those particular memories.
“Thank you. It smells amazing,” he said honestly, leaning into Usopp when the sniper threw an arm around his shoulders, and he knew how lucky he was to have friends who were willing to do this just to make him happy.
Maybe he wasn’t ready to tell them everything yet--about how meals like this where his mom could prep in advance and let it cook on its own for a few hours were one of the only things she had energy for as her body continued to weaken--but that didn’t mean he was any less appreciative.
And maybe one day…
Well, maybe one day he’d be able to.
But for now, he could just enjoy the evening.
…After he reminded them that the star anise had to be removed before the dish could be served, of course.

Happy Birthday Torao!
Birthday Greetings From The Strawhats
Robin
From the bag delivered via a newscoo, the first thing Law pulls out is a beautifully painted piece of paper elegantly folded into a hand sized coffin. When he opens the lid there is a note that reads:
Enjoy celebrating your 25th year on this Earth, Torao-san (though be cautious of lighting too many celebratory candles in the confided space of your submarine, as it could result in the suffocation of yourself and all your crew.)
🧡🐻❄️🧡 Nico Robin
Franky
The whole crew eyes the blue paper with metallic edges as Law unfolds the card. There's a whoooooshing sound followed by some mini explosions than seem either feasible or necessary. It ends with a giant yellow star popping straight up from the center of the cards along with voice recording of robot-ya practically yelling:
Ay! Torao! Hope You're Having One 🌟 SUPER 🌟 Birthday! From your best bro Franky 🌟!
Brook
Next is what seems to have been a Halloween card placed in the bag by mistake judging by the picture of a skeleton marking off days on a calendar. Then Law reads the front text:
Another Year Older...
Ah, yes, Bone-ya. Law opens the card to find the skeletons arm has fallen off with the pen, leaving him unable to cross out the next day on the calendar. Law supposes this is meant to be a humourous reminder of his inevitable death. The card finishes with
Another Year Closer To Death! Happy Birthday You Old Bag Of Bones!
After the card's text has terminated, there is an additional message added in old fashion handwriting:
"From a dear friend of Torao-san who is but an old bag of bones himself! Yohoho!"
His crew is terrible disappointed not to have gotten their hands on a true signature by The Soul King himself.
Nami
Law isn't surprised to see that Nami-ya has picked out a card of herself posing on the beach. Inside the navigator has written:
Happy Birthday Torao 🧡
She's also included a invoice: 25 Berries for the shipping, plus 10 for the card itself.
Sanji
In place of a card, Black Leg-ya has le a recipe for a cake that, according to the attached letter:
"Not even your tasteless flounder of a cook can mess up."
The rest of the lengthy note doesn't bother to mention Law or his birthday, but does go into quite some detail about how he hopes Ikkaku-chahhhn thinks of him as she bites into the fresh passion fruit filling, as the airy softness of the yellow sponge fills her -
That's as a far as anyone on the crew manages to read before Ikakku has shoved the letter into the engine and watched it burn with what Law could only describe as vengeful satisfaction.
Chopper
According to the card with a paw print sealing it shut, Tony-ya had thought that Law might enjoy some sweets for his birthday and had gone to buy him two whole bags, since Law is always working so hard as a captain, doctor and their ally.
It then goes on to apologize at length while attempting to explain why the sack contains only one bag, half of it full of empty wrappers. Someone - Nico-ya more than likely - also slipped in a photo of the reindeer curled up for a nap, covered in chocolate and with colorful wrappers sprinkled around him.
Jinbe
Jinbe sends him an empty conch shell. Law isn't sure if this is a fish man tradition, a prank, or if Jinbe just didn't know it was his birthday and picked up the first thing on the sea floor. He isn't about to ask.
Ussop
Law can imagine Long Nose-ya spending hours in a state of indecisive anxiety as he contemplated what, precisely, Law would want in a birthday wish. He is easily one of their smartest alley - though having met the kind of people Strawhat-ya attracts this is hardly a robust field of competition - so no doubt the sniper had wanted to impress . Law can imagine him pacing that absurd looking ship of theirs, muttering to himself, "What if Torao hates it and decides to break the alliance all because my choice in card failed to impress or the celebratory message lacked conviction!? We'd wind up at war with the Heart Pirates! And they must know all our weaknesses by now! I'll bet Torao keeps them in notebooks for this exact situation!"
So he just gets him the biggest, flashiest birthday card he can find. Inside it reads:
"To The Fierce Captain Of The Pirates Of Heart, Warrior Of The Northern Sea, and Ally to the Fearless, Undefeatable Captain Usopp who commands a fleet of 10,000 pirates who sing his praises as the bravest adventurer to ever roam the seas!"
It fails to mention any celebration of his birthday, or indeed Law's name at all.
Luffy
Strawhat-ya sends hand drawn picture of himself, Law, and Eustas-ya. all three are smiling and appear to be cheering with their hands in the air, standing in a sort of triangle. Strawhat-ya is on top of the two's shoulder and wearing a crown with his jolly roger scrawled in the center.
The inside is just signed:
ME
Zoro
There is also a piece of paper that isn't folded or in an envelope. It turns out to be a small wanted poster for one Roronoa Zoro . On the back:
生日
Tanjō or the shortest way to say birthday.... Not happy birthday just birthday. It's unsigned.
Law spends a moment studying the wrinkled poster. It is the one "card" he deems worthy to keep

love language ; straw hats
↻ surprise! it's fluff again <3, luffy almost killed you, grammatical error
↻ pairing ↬ straw hats x gn!reader!
anonymous asked: hi!! i don't know if you're still doing requests but i saw your strawhat crew x reader and was wondering if you could do one where the reader's love language is physical touch so they're always hugging the members few times a day to show their love for them. i just think it would be nice for the members to receive some love 😁 thank you! <3
a/n since i wanted to write smtg for sanji's bday, i decided to take this request first bcs i realized that i havent been giving him a lot of love... and there's a little surprise at the end :)
you walked all over the sunny, making notes of everyone's whereabouts. the weather was cold, it'd be perfect for hugs.
you decided to find luffy, who you had already walked passed quite a few times already. he was sitting on sunny's head, wearing a coat over his body.
"luffy," you called out to him. you would have taken it upon yourself to just jump up beside him but you know just how much he dislike when people sit in his special spot.
he jumped down, landing in front of you and gave you the biggest smile. it was your routine with every straw hats. luffy knew just what you had called him for.
he stretched his rubber arm and wrapped it around your body in a tight hug, almost squeezing you to death. it was an every day experience. it wasn't like you minded it. and it's not like luffy would kill you accidentally because of his hugs.
but of course that's not really a bad way to die. after your bone crushing hug session, you went up to the crows nest to find a certain green-haired.
you could hear his displeased grunt the moment he saw you. but you know it was nothing he actually dislike. if he did hate your hugs, he probably would have just kicked you out of the ship.
there was no words needed to be exchanged. you proceed to hug him. although it was a one-sided hug, you could still feel his body slightly relaxed into your touch. you just wished that your hug could at least take away everyone's problem or worries. even if it's just a little bit of it.
when sanji's turn was up, you make your way to the kitchen, knowing that it would be where he would always be at. walking inside, sanji looked at you and greeted you with a smile while still working with breakfast.
and you would never know what kind of breakfast he would be making since everyday is a different types of breakfast. you walked up to him, hugging him from behind and rested your head on his back.
"happy birthday sanji,"
you could tell that he was happy, despite already being happy for the fact that he's cooking. "thank you, y/n," he thanked, his focus on the breakfast never faltering.
it was finally time for you to find nami and robin. you just know how much they hang out with each other most of the days. but sometimes, it was quite hard to find the two of them due to their random interests for every day's activities.
and you were glad that you had founded them just in their room. they both stopped whatever they were doing and opened their arms wide.
you gladly accept their invitations and sink into the familiar warmth. hugs with them was always the best. and it's not because of their big boo- eherm, they just gave you nice hugs.
if it wasn't for nami, you might've actually fallen asleep in their arms. you reluctantly let both of them go before going after your next target.
it wasn't that hard to find usopp and chopper. considering how they spent time together almost 24/7. "y/n! wanna come fishing with us?" the sniper asked.
"maybe i'll join you after i see everyone," you said, walking up to usopp and the reindeer. chopper hugged your leg as you pulled usopp into a hug.
"mmm, i needed this," usopp said. "well, you know where to find me if you needed more," you said, pulling away from him. before leaving, chopper gave you a doctor advice, saying that you should remember to keep yourself hydrated.
you laughed at him before leaving. as you walk towards franky's workshop, sanji suddenly called for you from inside the kitchen.
the moment you stepped inside, you were caught off guard by everyone hugging you. your confusion melted happiness. your chest feeling warm on the inside by their surprise. "i love you guys so much,"
"we love you too," franky said, followed by brook's laughter.

Hi !
The last prompt, forehead kisses, was so cute, thanks a lot for it !
For the new list, I don't know of it's possible but for the AU prompt roommate, is it possible to have one with Marco and Thatch ? Of not then just Marco, please.
Thank you and have a nice day, week, month !
Thank you, I loved writing that one, I love a soft birb. I also don't know if you mean POLY or like same prompt for both so I did a little bit for Thatch and Marco separate. I also have headcanons here for them as roommates

-
When you got home from a busy day out the first thing you could smell down the hallway of your shared apartment was the alluring scent of freshly baked goods. The vanilla that wafted through the air, you couldn’t wait to get inside your home.
Opening the door, the pleasant smells of baking and the warmth from the oven being on hit you full force and you liked it. You sighed and took off your shoes, setting down your bag and coming into the kitchen portion of the apartment.
“It’s like you timed it! I just put in more cookies; the muffins are cool enough if you want to grab one.” Thatch said as you watched him adjust times, swap over trays, dust icing sugar on something.
He was a whirlwind of a man. Sometimes it made you exhausted just to be near the vibrant energy that was the chef. He was singing to himself, the radio on, he was wearing the awful joke apron a friend bought him years ago for a birthday.
“Do we have guests or something coming over?” you asked with a laugh as you looked over just how much he’d baked, grabbing one of the muffins as you did so.
“I called Marco; he might stop by on his way home.”
“So all of this is for.. us?”
“Well, you can pack some up for your friends tomorrow, I’m sure Marco will take some for his housemates and I’ll ask down the hall if we have too much leftover.” Thatch gave you a charming grin and your heart skipped a beat, such a generous man.
Living with Marco was easy-going. It was sometimes like living with a ghost in fact. You wouldn’t see him around much during the day, he was working and at night he usually went to see friends. He was also like a ghost in a sense you’d hear him late at night, he’d move things around or leave cupboard doors open.
When you did get to spend time with your roommate, it was nice. He’d bring you home a coffee on his way back from work. He came home, coffees in hand and set them down in front of you, sleepy tired eyes blinked at you, a smile and nod in greeting before he shuffled off to shower the day off.
He came back, washed, and clean, wearing his bright coloured sleep shorts and shirt, blinking at the TV as you watched a movie. You flipped the blanket up off the sofa and nodded for him to join you.
“Movies only just started, wanna watch with me?” You asked and he nodded.
Getting snuggled up next to you on the sofa, pulling the blanket over you both and cuddling up against you. Marco hummed, a happy sound as he wrapped an arm around you and rested his head on your shoulder.
Sometimes cuddling up with you to nap was the best rest he ever got.

Hey bestie if you don’t mind could you possibly do a body swap soulmate AU with Luffy but his s/o is the sister of Kid cause I’m sure he wouldn’t like that Luffy is his lol sister’s soulmate😂
bestieee hiii! omg that's such a cool idea, and it was so fun to write! kid is probably wondering "is this a nightmare?" i hope you like it! ❤
You woke up early and jumped out of the bed. Rushing to the kitchen, still in your pajamas, the crew greeted you. They smiled wishing you a happy birthday, while Killer and Kid brought a cake.
— Happy Birthday, brat. — Kid ruffled your hair. — As you get older, you get less annoying. If you find your soulmate this year, I hope they’re ready to deal with you.
— And I bet I’ll find my soulmate before you even find yours. — you laughed.
The day was full of celebrations, beer and food, while Kid tried to keep an eye on you to be sure you wouldn’t drink too much. The man was quite protective, even though he tried to pretend he didn’t care. It was his duty to keep you safe, not just because he was your captain, but because he was your brother.
Luffy opened his eyes, and found weird enough the fact he couldn’t smell Sanji’s food or Brook singing. Instead, he heard more voices than the usual. Opening his eyes, he noticed right away it wasn’t the Sunny. The boy scratched his head, wondering what this place could be.
He got up and looked around, maybe the Strawhats dragged him somewhere while he was sleeping. Until he found a familiar figure from far.
— Oi, Jaggy! — he said, waving at the redhead, who raised an eyebrow. You’ve never called him that before. In fact, there was only one person who called him that.
— (Y/N)? — Kid asked. — What’s wrong?
— What? No, it’s me, Luffy! — the dark haired boy giggled.
Then it hit him. You switched bodies with your soulmate, and even worse, your soulmate was that Mugiwara. Out of all people, except Trafalgar, why him? Why destiny had to make him your soulmate? Luffy would start thinking they were friends, what a nightmare.
When the others realized what happened, they couldn’t help laughing at their captain’s misfortune, while Killer patiently went to explain Luffy the situation and how to switch back.
Meanwhile, you woke up with the smell of food, but it smelled differently from what Killer usually made. You could hear giggles, singing and weirdly enough, female voices. That was odd, since the crew didn’t bring any girls to the Victoria Punk, since the ship hasn’t docked in a couple of weeks.
You opened your eyes and realized it wasn’t your room. You saw other beds, and the decoration was completely different. Next to you, there was a strawhat, a hat you remembered well, not just from the wanted posters, but also from the time you’ve met the other Supernovas in Sabaody, and later in Wano.
When you realized you switched bodies with Monkey D. Luffy, captain of the Strawhat Pirates, your mind was a little confused. First, you were glad you already had the chance to see who your soulmate was; but also, you couldn’t help laughing imagining your brother’s reaction when he found out. They were rivals, and they were completely opposites.
Kid would probably be angry and against this. But there was nothing he could do, soulmates are meant to be together, right? You deserved a happy ending.
You saw everyone sitting and having breakfast, you even remembered their faces, but didn’t quite remember the names. When you acted shy, unlike their captain’s usual attitude, that’s the first time the crew noticed something was off. During breakfast, you didn’t eat like he did, neither tried to steal food from the other plates.
— Luffy, what’s wrong? — a girl with orange hair asked, she seemed surprised and worried. — You didn’t eat even half of your food.
— I’m full, thank you. — you smiled, hoping they’d buy it. Obviously you only made it worse.
While some seemed to choke on their food after you statement, and even the green haired man, who apparently was asleep, woke up right away. All you could do was look at them asking if you were sick, if something was wrong, and calling a reindeer that would be able to take care of you. Everyone was talking at the same time, and it was hard to try to answer them.
Until a dark haired woman, with a friendly smile, said something.
— He switched bodies with his soulmate. — she giggled. — Didn’t you?
You nodded, and finally everything got quiet. Well, at least for two minutes, until the crew asked many questions at the same time. They wanted to know your name, if you were from an island near them, what you did for a living, and so many other questions.
— I’m (Y/N). — they all got quiet, listening to what you were saying. — I don’t live in an island, but I’m part of Kid’s Pirates. — you said, a bit worried they would treat you different because of that. — I’m Kid’s sister.
Everyone gasped, not even ready to process that information. They remember seeing you many times from far, but couldn’t even imagine you and Kid were siblings. There wasn’t even a small resemblance.
They made you feel very comfortable, reassuring that they’d help you find the Victoria Punk, and fix this situation soon. The day went pretty normal, with the blonde making snacks for you and the other girls, the skeleton asking to see your panties when you switched back, and the cute little reindeer asking questions about you.
The Strawhats seemed to be fun, treating you as part of the crew.
— We’ll arrive in just a few hours if the weather doesn’t change. — Nami smiled. — Are you excited?
— Yes. — you giggled. — A little nervous too. I’ve seen Luffy before, but now it’s different. And thank you for treating me so well.
After dinner, you sat on the deck with the others. You wondered what would happen after switching back. The only thing you knew for now was that you’d miss them.
One or two hours later, you spotted the ship from far. It was exciting, your heart started beating fast and you couldn’t help walking around in circles. You jumped in on the Victoria Punk as soon as the ships were close enough from each other.
— Finally! I had to spend the whole day with him! — your brother glared at Luffy. — He thinks we’re friends now, and he didn’t leave me alone.
— I had a nice time, though. — you smiled. — They’re so cool, and treated me like family.
Before Kid could tell you not to get any ideas, Luffy ran towards you, with his signature giggle.
— Oi, (Y/N)! Killer told me how to switch back. — the boy smiled. — We need to kiss! Let's kiss!
Your cheeks got red, not expecting Luffy to be so straightforward, especially not in front of your brother. When you least expected, the boy pulled you into a kiss. Holding your face with his hands, it was clumsy and even sloppy. He didn’t know what he was doing, and you were caught off guard and couldn’t even kiss him properly. That and the crew having to hold Kid who kept saying “stay away from my sister” couldn’t create a better mood for the first kiss.
Surprisingly, felt his arms wrapped around you, using his devil fruit powers to hold you tight. You opened your eyes and saw Luffy so close, with a wide smile. How you two fell in love? You would never know. It was sometime between Sabaody, seeing each other in Wano, or during this whole day when you were in each other’s body.
— Brother, I want to stay with them. — you pouted. — I want to be with my soulmate.
— No, I won’t let you stay with him! He’s my rival and that’s unacceptable!
— Don't worry, I’ll take care of her, Jaggy! — he smiled, stretching his arms to grab you and pull you closer. — And now that we’re almost family, we can start an alliance!

Whumptober Day 18
Yandere Marco x Reader
@fire-fist-ann, I do believe you requested a yandere Marco
Disclaimer: I have not written a oneshot for Marco before so please forgive me if he seems a little occ. (Also this is a modern AU and his last name is Phoenix because I think that's cool & I'm the one writing it)
Warning: Being Drugged (Specifically sleep drug)
"Uh- Who's this Ace?" Marco asked his injured friend.
"Oh, where are my manner? Marco, this is [Y/n]!" Ace introduced you to the blond.
"Nice to meet you," You greeted with a smile and held out your hand.
"Dr. Phoenix." Marco returned the gesture and shook your hand. He internally was surprised, your hand felt warm and soft, friendly and comforting. Add the bright smile you gave him, and he dropped all formalities. "But you can just call me Marco."
"Already being friendly with someone besides your brothers?" Ace joked, nudging Marco.
"Is he not?" You questioned, tilting your head and letting go of Marco's hand.
"Mr. bird brain here usually keeps things strictly professional inside the clinic."
"Don't call me that," Marco said giving Ace an unamused look.
"Oh, sorry, Dr. bird brain." Ace bowed, acting polite. Marco would've been irritated if it had not been for your laugh that broke the ice. Your laugh was like the bird's song to the wind, so wonderful and pleasant to hear. Ace caught him staring at you. "Hey, Marco."
"Hm?" Marco snapped out of his gaze and turned to Ace.
"We came here to get my shoulder checked, I think it's dislocated."
"Again?" Marco sighed, rubbing his temples. "You and Luffy make up the majority of my patients list, and that's when Luffy isn't visiting his other doctor."
"Oh, so this crazy stunt stuff is a regular thing then?" You guessed, making the connection. "Guess I'll be seeing you more often then since I'm going to hang out with these guys."
Marco paused, a warmth kindled in his heart. He liked the idea of seeing you regularly.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Shishishi, hey Marco!" Luffy greeted the doctor when Marco entered the waiting room. "I broke my arm again, and Chopper has his hands full with Zoro and Sanji. Thankfully [Y/n] could drive me here."
"Hi Marco!" You waved at him with a friendly smile.
"Nice to see you again, [Y/n]. You too, Luffy."
It has been a few months since you've met Marco, and he has come to terms that he has something more than just a simple crush on you but he didn't know what it was exactly. After the second time you visited with Ace, Marco asked his practical brother for your number, not confident in asking you for it himself. He simply said it was for practical purposes, in case he couldn't use/have his phone that you could simply call in ahead of time. That wasn't the only thing Marco asked for.
He wanted to know when your birthday was, where you worked, and what you were into. Everyday stuff right? Well, it would be normal if it weren't for the fact he now had over a hundred gifts for you sitting in his house, waiting to be given to you during a holiday or when your birthday comes around. He couldn't help it, each time he saw something he thought you like he bought it. Of course, at the rate he was going, he could give you a gift every day for a year, but he wasn't the kind of person who do that so it feel strange if he did that. You'll just have to wait for the special occasion to come to get all those gifts.
"Oh Marco, you think you can get Luffy home?" You asked, slipping your phone into your pocket. You must've been checking the time while he had been zoned in on taking care of Luffy's arm.
"You're not staying?" Marco hold back his distressed tone when the thought of you leaving early crossed his mind.
"Yeah, sorry," You apologized, ruffling your hair. "I... I got a thing."
"She's got a date," Luffy bluntly stated, pointing his index finger at you.
"I told you it's not like that!" You flushed, growling at the strawhat boy who only giggled.
In reality, you were just going to see the recent movie that just came out with a few friends. You were always talking about the date it was released, that's why Luffy thought it was a date. However, Marco didn't know that, he thought you actually had a date.
"Uh... sure I can drive Luffy home for you [Y/n]," Marco replied, hiding the burning envy in his heart.
"Thanks, I owe ya one!" You said, making you had everything before you left. You started checking because it seemed you had somehow forgotten stuff, lucky Marco always found it and gave it back to you.
"Just make me your family doctor and we'll call it even."
"Alright."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Hey, Marco."
"What happened to you?" Marco inquired seeing you scratching your red bumps.
"Don't worry, I'm not Ace, I didn't get attacked by ants," you laughed as you continued to scratch yourself. "I just got this nasty rash and I don't know how to get rid of it."
"Ah, I- wait right here, I got just the thing," Marco reassured you and left the room. He returned a bit later with two cups, one that had water, the other containing three pills. "Take these, it'll get rid of your rash."
"Thanks, Marco, you're the best." You took the pills and swallowed them, washing them down with water. Your mind started to get a little fuzzy, yet when you looked at your arm the rash was clearing up so you thought that this had been a sign the medicine was working. Letting out an unexpected yawn, your eyes suddenly became heavy and so you decided to let them rest, thinking it'd only be for a moment.
"It'll also make things easier for me," Marco mumbled after you passed out.

I also noticed he’s wearing the circles like Nami does. Is there a reason for those circles?
——————————————————-
Greetings @icantthinkof1posts and many thanks for the submission :) I’ve never paid attention to this detail while watching Heart of Gold-tv special before so thanks for pointing this out! Now that I look at the jacket pattern it surely reminds me of Nami’s skirt and jeans’ circles and after browsing her outfit gallery in One Piece fandom wiki it seems like these circles appear in many of her outfits:
The reason how those circles ended up in Sanji’s jacket in Heart of Gold probably remains a mystery forever but it indeed is a nice detail from the perspective of shipping. However, I think it is partly a coincidence, they both enjoy fashionable clothings and maybe they like same clothing brands. An interesting topic and for example my fellow shippers @pernanegra [x] and @sanjiafsincedayone [x] have written nice thoughts about clothing related to Sanji x Nami for Sannami week- event.
But in general, it’s actually pretty interesting to notice that Sanji and Nami indeed do seem to have some similarities and/ or “parallels” when it comes down to their style and clothing. For example in the following cases there seem to be something:
Sanji’s Alabasta’s outfit
First one might be very far fetched but I admit when I first saw the desert outfit after a long while, the sun on his sleeve reminded me of the logo of the Sun Pirates and guess who was part of the Sun Pirates? Arlong and then who was working under Arlong? Nami!
It’s hard to say did Oda-sensei mean any foreshadowing in this but now to think about the connection to the Sun Pirates came up later in the story line when Jinbei revealed to be close to Arlong.
Sanji knew about Nami’s backstory because Nojiko told it to them earlier when Nami struggled to fight against Arlong’s terror. She didn’t know Sanji knows so she was probably surprised why it was difficult to Sanji to face Jinbei’s confessions.
Actually the Nami’s backstory that returned in Mermaid Island arc turned unexpectedly into a parallel at the latest in Zou arc where Nami became the one who learned about Sanji’s backstory (well there was also Brook and the others but the point is, they both know their backstories)
A bit similar pattern in shirts
Before the Strawhats arrived to Alabasta, Nami wore this colorful heart-patterned shirt and later she changes it to the black/blue bikini top. Sanji also switches his outfit in Skypiea to this red-shaded and flowery patterns too that are a bit similar to Namis (who knows, maybe the same brand?)
Punk Hazard style
Sanji’s winter outfit after the main adventures in Punk Hazard is stylish and has Nami’s colors and those S-patters partly resemble Nami’s iconic pinwheel tattoo. Her jacket instead follows a bit of Sanji’s suit jacket style (with 6 buttons)
Of course those swirls in Sanji’s jacket and in Nami’s could also represent the symbolism behind their names. My fellow shipper @eleamaya wrote a interesting analyze about their names: Sanji = whirlpool // Nami = Wave both things are linked to swirls.
The swirls can also be symbolism for Sanji’s curly eyebrows and now to think about, the symbol of the Arlong Pirates reminds a bit of a whirlpool if one looks quickly.
wearing blue and orange
There are obviously dozens of outfits Nami has worn but one thing that crossed my mind after browsing the One Piece’s fan gallery was that she wears a lot of blue, either the top or the bottom part which is nice because blue is a nice color.
(and yes I am color blind, I can’t distinguish blue and purple-ish well *laughs*)
Also Sanji likes to wear blue but also he has worn a lots of shades of yellow/orange. Shipwise this is an interesting thing to notice because their theme colors are blue and orange. Eleamaya linked it to the colors of the sunset which has these two very colors and she also pointed out there the common link in their names (related to the element of water).
(btw @sanjiafsincedayone‘s post about orange and blue sums ups well this theme)
ties
Both Nami and Sanji have been seen wearing ties both in canon and in Color Spreads, if we return into a earlier subject, Nami wears blue again in Water 7.
Offering the suit jacket to the lady
Sanji is a gentleman so it’s natural nice gesture for him to offer his jacket. First time he offered it to Nami when they survived the ordeals in Little Garden. Nami’s reaction was annoyed.
Later he gave his jacket when they were freezing in Punk Hazard’s cold side. Then Nami’s reaction was more friendly (she seemed actually be surprised about him doing it again). This is most likely because they’ve known each other for a longer time in Punk Hazard arc.
Number 3 in clothing
There has been great analyzes about this topic but to sum it a little bit: Oda-sensei has given each Straw Hats a “theme”number that is based on their birthday and names, Sanji’s is 3.
He has worn number 3 in his outfit in Whole Cake Island arc in flashbacks when he was a child, mostly so their father and his minions could distinguish Sanji and his siblings. Nami as well has worn number 3 in Water 7 arc. Actually Luffy has also worn numbers in the flashback arc. but they are linked to his own birthday as far as I remember, Nami is only strawhat who has worn numbers “just for fun” so far but correct if it’s false.
Of course it might be that since Nami was the third one to join the Straw Hats, her number also is therefore 3 which could be the reason why Oda-sensei made her wear that in Water 7.
clothing details in official art
@sanjiafsincedayone also wrote posts about the colors blue and orange and how they appear in One Piece. Oda-sensei likes to share his official One Piece art in Color Spreads between the chapters and in art collections (Color Walks) and once these are published, we fans then enjoy to find details that match to our OTP.
Here are some of the stylish details that has been pointed out in Sanji x Nami posts about official art:
- similar/matching accessories
One thing Sannami fandom has pondered together is that they like to wear accessories, for some reason there has been a couple of drawings where the accessories are very similar to each other
(the picture below with giraffe theme is from Color Spread chapter 357 and the picture below with similar flowery necklaces is from Color Walk 5)
(They both seem to really enjoy wearing necklaces)
(and who knows, maybe that necklace that appears in Color Walk 4 could be the same as in chapter 357)
When it comes down to similarities, there has also been same styled wristbands in chapter 878′s Color Spread
and sunglasses in the Color Spreads of chapter 941 and 835
Sanjiafsincedayone pointed out also that Nami seems to like to wear blue colored kimonos in Color Spreads
A couple of times Sanji and Nami either wear the same patterns in their clothes (i.e chapter 507)
or one wears swirls and the other rings (Chapter 937)
- character shirts, a (far fetched) foreshadow?
In chapter 692′s color spread Sanji wears a shirt where there is a character who l1ooks very much like Nami (with all the bikini top-style and curly hair)
Nami has actually worn character shirts as well, in chapter 578′s Color Spread. If the theory would be far fetched then we could imagine that picture in her shirt could be referred to Alabasta arc (because of the cactus and desert) where he referred himself with a codename Mr Prince.
If we wanted to put this thought of this even more trickier we would think about Sabo’s background as a noble who never wanted to be a noble and ran away, just like Sanji did so that picture on her shirt could be also a parallel
but since the guy looks more like Sabo perhaps it was more likely foreshadowing to Dressrosa when the Luffy’s long lost brother made a comeback.
And now to think about, Nami’s outfit in chapter 771′s and 588′s Color Spreads could have foreshadowed the upcoming art since Sanji also wore ruffle-styled shirt before the tea party? (and actually, Nami’s WCI arc dress had ruffles too).
fun fact: Robin’s outfit in that Alice in Wonderland themed Color Spread was very close to what Sanji wore in WCI)
sweet escape
The gingerbread theme in chapter 902′s color spread was cute and as a shipper the view of Sanji and Nami sharing the same pattern icing/frosting/topping is cute (there were other Straw hats too in that picture but their patterns were different).
Movie 2 Clockwork Island
Last but not least in the list is One Piece’s second official movie. Yes, it’s a movie and therefore it’s non-canon but I find it interesing that out of all outfits and characters, Nami and Sanji are dressed as they could walk to the wedding aisle any minute. What makes it even more amusing is that Usopp and Zoro are dressed more traditionally and could bless their union *laughs*
And after the Whole Cake Island’s and Thriller Bark’s events and marriage theme that is quite a parallel in total (first Nami being the damsel in distress who needs to be saved from a forced marriage and then later Sanji being forced to marry because of his father’s policies) the more funnier the link between the arcs and movie 2 feels (since there is too Nami being kidnapped and almost forced to marry someone she doesn’t want and the movie’s promo picture includes a bridal carry)
When it comes down to the concept of the word canon, It really depends on the shipper which is counted so called shipwise-material. For some everything is potential but dor some, only manga as canon counts and therefore everything else like side stories (fillers, movies), merchandising (ads etc.) is shipwise just so called “nice extra” (like some of these examples mentioned before) since these filler-stories and movies are still mostly handwritten and directed by someone else than the main mangaka. Obviously Oda-sensei is the main supervisor and is very strict about what should happen and what not and he might do these detail things just for fun and it’s us reading it as signs for OTP. So all in all, as always said,
as much as we like to seek for details to support the ship, it’s all about interpretation ;)

wherein sabo loses his head feat. marco and law (fanfic excerpt–happy birthday koala)
It’s Koala’s birthday for another few hours, so here’s a wee excerpt from a longer fic where Sabo and Koala are meeting up with Law and Marco. It’s a post-canon world where some of the older slavery practices were never repealed. Law gets caught up in it. The Revolutionaries and others look to fight it. This is G-rated, but it’s from a very dark fic which isn’t, so no link. This is light though.
🐯🐓🐨🔥🐯🐓🐨🔥
"This was your idea, right?" Marco asked Law, sweating a little in the controlled environment despite being used to the general humid air of the island.
"They're cute," Law shrugged, though he didn't wander over to pat one.
Marco spread out on the lawn, staring at the sky, head on Law's lap. The surgeon had woven long grass into a loose crown and placed it on Marco's head. They could pretend. Law's weaving and paper skills helped hone surgical dexterity, as did the crewel work and quieter embroidery that decorated his clothes. Despite his domestic skills, cute wasn't a word that sat well with him.
"What are we doing in the koala enclosure?"
"If they're looking to cage me, they'll never look for me in a cage."
"Hah." There was a logic to it. The enclosure was open plan, a bit like their now desecrated house. Vegetation indigenous to the marsupials' original environment crackled with the scent of eucalyptus.
It was peaceful in the sun, Law's doctor's hands tweaking a clump of his hair here and there. Oh, he knew how to apply pain with precision, but also its opposite. When the doctor was in the house the sadist remained in the cellar.
🐯🐓🐨🔥🐯🐓🐨🔥
"Your idea of a joke, Trafalgar? Arranging to meet Koala and me here?"
You had to watch Law. You never knew if he was waving at you or in the process of removing a body part.
"Noo, you creepy surgeon."
Obviously the latter. Sabo's head now rested on Marco's chest, Marco still lying against Law's thighs.
"No, not a joke," Law said.
The damn bastard couldn't be any more smug.
"But this is." Law maintained the room of course. He didn't want Sabo to be permanently separated from his body. "Thanks for meeting us, Sabo-ya." Plus, yeah, he had thought it was kinda funny to meet them here. Where was Koala?
"Marco," Sabo said, peering down at the Whitebeard's face, looking up his nostrils. "You really should invest in a hair trimmer."
Marco lifted a hand in greeting. "Law says that all the time." Sabo's top hat remained securely in place.
Law had to give it to this group and their friends. Sabo's headless body sat cross-legged against a eucalyptus, lightly tapping a pipe on its palm, keeping its cool. Law's own crew were used to floating around in one of his Rooms, but were usually nervous because maybe only they understood the true reach of his inventiveness.
The Strawhats were calm or excited, except for Nami and Usopp who channelled anger and panic respectively. Once Nami realised Law's Room could double as an amusement park ride, so long as his energy was up, she warmed to his skills and charged a fee for the out of body experience. She split with Law, ten percent, ninety. She was generous with the ten because regular maintenance was a must for any reliable piece of machinery. He remembered to thank her.
Koala entered the enclosure and strode over to the trio.
"Who said they were flea-ridden, piddling, stinking, scratching, rotten little things?"* she mused, sitting to Marco's side, and scratching Sabo behind the ears. He looked cute without his body. She wished she had Law's powers at times. She could cart Sabo about like a bowling ball and prevent him from meandering away from their missions.
"Some politician somewhere."
"Sounds like Garp."
"Too many words for Gramps."
"Iva?"
Probably Iva. Koala stretched over and shook Law's hand. "Looking good, Trafalgar."
Marco coughed.
Koala sat back down, smiled, and tipped her hat back slightly. "You'd look good too, Phoenix. If not for that strange growth protruding from your breastbone."
Sabo figured that Koala was a little too pleased about his altered form. Could he use the mera-mera no mi while his body was separated? He concentrated. Marco, peering at his scrunched-up face, wondered if a headless body could fart. Under the eucalyptus tree a puff of smoke rose to the sky.
"Steady," Koala said. Sabo's power was still volatile, despite the years passed.
"Eucalypti are highly combustible." Law was tiring anyway. He transported Sabo's body to their group, his head to the body, and dropped the sphere. Sabo stood, hands wrapped on either side of his face making sure everything was correctly aligned. He patted the top of his hat, and dusted his coat down, loosely holding the pipe.
He was thankful Law hadn't combined him with a koala. Luffy had described Brownbeard the Pirate's alligator lower half in great detail, from his adventures on Punk Hazard.
He glanced down at the Whitebeard, the Heart and his steadfast Revolutionary comrade. Luffy trusted this guy and the two had fought hard side by side across the years. He wasn't a hated or discarded ex, and that meant something. Either one rescuing the other over time. Plus, Marco was stand up. And the Revolutionaries had been itching for something to do. Peace was nice but could be boring. And there was Koala.
Marco sat up, his circlet slipping back to the grass. That display of Law's powers was unexpected but fun. Sabo had given Law some shit when he'd been with Luffy, but they'd mostly worked it out, and recognised that either party had strengths that aided their own agendas. Sabo sat down, picked up the grass wreath and ran it through his fingers.

Never mind how that he knew or found out, just that he did; therefore, there would be no prisoners. The gift was aptly wrapped an obnoxious shades of green and inside, a tray of cookies, beautifully decorated with the Strawhat Jolly Roger and familiar cartoon-styled faces of the crew members. 'Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal!' scripted on a note card following a doodle of fangs, the 'Happy Birthday' intentionally scratched out. - Bartolomeo to Bellamy [ Take this, Bunny, pls k ]
@khasmc // : ↯ ↯ ↯
Indolent eyes cast down to gaudy paper by an unnecessary bridge of the neck. Any parcel was often the trite, colored neutral and wrapped in parchment tied neat with thin basket weave rope tied into a thin bow. Papers, usually, carefully stacked and sent directly from shipping hull to higher ups to be sorted and given out as instructed. Often the head craftsman was very peculiar regarding shipments of supplies that could not be taken from resources granted naturally by the island. Presentation, even in a raw state, was of utmost importance. But among the drab letters and professionally ordinates documents is one garish, once nervously held aloft by postal crewman stuck sorting through peculiarities that it might save one’s time. It was not often any did not pass a check, and when it had done so, it was almost always due in part to it being a personal delivery. They wasted little time thrusting container Bellamy’s hands after setting sights on his name, off about the remaining load of dye pots and fine tipped quills tugged along in the cart at their back. A swift kick of the heel against the door to slam it shut behind him. Instinct begs it be sat down to properly lock up and yet something keeps the eye-catching gift settled in stained palms .
Back to the frame, sounds of voices fading with every passing second beyond its wooden make, as attention returns to the note card hastily taped upon the surface of loose green wrapping. Disturbed by the trip or simply a purposeful user choice he hasn’t a clue. Grip in one hand tightens, edging slip away with such delicate motion of large fingers that it does not so much as peel the color away from the material. Thumb glossing script, rubbing over toothed insignia with a thoughtful curiosity easing burdened creases in facial features. It was familiar, matching that which seemed so uncomplimentary to everything else. Multiple locks left ignored, he pushes away from the door to find a place to sit its contents down that hands might properly greet it with a proper shredding .
The package is one unexpected. If not energy that wills the buried sense of enthusiasm to move, it is the intrigue. Dulled nails serrate an uneven edge like the claws of a large beast. Little time is wasted between the tear and removal of the bright material left scattered in disproportionately bundled pieces along the table. A slight bump of oak knocks crumpled paper into the floor, left ignored much like the safety of his residence. The smaller woes are much better left for later .
Beneath he finds the tray of baked treats, tucked carefully away beneath the cover of a container meant for the preservation of a longer trip. A satisfying pop of plastic, uncovering the details of each laid individually spread upon silver. It is an entire arrangement of familiar faces from times long past, carefully decorated with a dedicated hand meant wholeheartedly to express admiration for each and every one. Nostalgia settles into a weary spirit upon the sight of a straw hat and an unabashed smile. A sudden dull ache in the cheek. The pain of change is not one forgotten; it lingers, gingerly, enough to be a constant chiding in every slip of character. It was with this aching Bellamy carried his lost spirit here to be found once more, greeted with the smell of clean air and fresh beginnings. He remembered that scent, gentle with the bounce of sea salt and nearby cleaned linen. Jolly rogers commanded the skies there. There was his own dedication to find here, one properly placed in the youth with a heart big enough to echo sense into one twice over .
You’ve changed, Bellamy .
Knot in the throat choking back a want to breathe even a small entertained breath. A skim of every personality, all the way to the jolly roger positioned above the confectionery crew. It is only then that he notices a smudged trail of hardened white icing along the sheen of the tray, the black of a skull’s eye partially claimed by the container. The trip over had undoubtedly disturbed it. Another brief moment of disappointment followed by a reassurance that guides a hand to pluck the cookie from its place and settle it just shy of an eager mouth .
❝ Chaotic bastard. ❞ He almost felt sorry, biting into the mark that had freed him from the tyranny of his own. Hand to chest, the cover of ink now more symbolic of his personal accomplishments than those of another. A sweet flavor combats the chemical tang of dye, bold in the way it assaults taste buds as if intending to combat every sense he had .
The sore feeling of a pit within his stomach fades as the hyena fills the emptiness with emotional sustenance, free hand packing it all away again for sometime later in the evening. It would not be fair, enjoying this moment rushed to prep for the morning without freshly bubbling milk. Crumbs tumbling from lips as a quick flick of the wrist snatches the note card from the table. He looks over it once more, a clearer picture of toothy smile rivaling the wild grin of the blond in his prime. He feels himself saved again, lifted from the jagged edges of a puzzle piece never quite finding its big picture. For so long it was an unending stress of never finding solace in life. Nowhere to rest, nowhere in which hierarchy accepted a man as equal and not as a being outliving its usefulness in a matter of moments. But the range in which that small, empty space was viewed was far too microscopic .
Bellamy had long since found his place. His pride, the dedication in which to be loyal but stay individualistic. This was his big picture .
Remaining bites are taken without interference of the hands. Two blank canvases billowed in black capes sling over a shoulder along with a bag of various artistic utensils consisting mostly of brushes and varying types of quills. Within now is also the written gesture, hidden between pages of a notebook filled with various concepts both written and drawn. A wry smile creeps along lips as they are licked once over to remove the residue of flaking kibble from them. Steps toward the door, a revitalizing spring in a previously weary step .
❝ Can’t believe I have to thank him again . ❞
Thus a hand pushes door outwards, greeted with the light of late morning as he remembers this time to lock up .
#|| uhm hey J??? hey???#I'm love you.#I dare anyone tell me they're not friends.#literally anybody. because they would be immediately incorrect.#you can't fight somebody in the ring and then subsequently get saved and NOT be.#catch me crying in the club over Bellamy at 1:45AM.#I am an emotional wreck. ||#❥ // * … won’t kill them ( answer. )#↯ // * ic ( bellamy. )#❥ // * ever running on stories of the sea ( long post. )#khasmc

There wasn't much material the brothers cared for thus when it came to gifts it was always harder to figure what the younger might need, but instead Sabo's gift to Luffy this year wasn't an item to be touched, it had been to surprise him on the day of his birth by an unexpected visit, a giant beast hunted just to fill his belly and a bottle of sake, just like old times were both set on the strawhat's deck. Arms wide open awaiting his brother's approach, he grinned. ❝Happy Birthday, Lu~❞
This day wasn’t really something special for him, more a day like any other -- with some extra food provided by Sanji. The cook was always careful enough to be sure to give something extra for each of his crewmates in some special occasions; and this particular day everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Nothing too new, even a bit too calm for the Strawhat’s taste. This until he listened to some fuss in the deck, Chopper and Usopp screaming -- but what caught his ears weren’t their voices, but one he heard back in Dressrosa, calling his name. Right when Luffy would turn away, he almost bumped into Sabo, eyes widening fast as a huge smile appeared, only growing with the birthday greetings.
‘ SABO!!!!!!!!!!! ‘
Of course he noticed the rest. The huge banquet they’d have this night, and the sake bottle carefully placed near -- yet the only reaction Luffy could’ve given that moment, was to jump into his brother and hug him as tight as possible.

Places a small cake besides him, leaning forward with a smile ' happy birthday, Sabo-san! I received these news this morning, I hope you like it ', and right after a paper with the front photo of the Strawhats, some Vivi used to collect herself. Luffy was as important to him, right? And he was doing alright... He always did.
— When he thought back to their first meeting, Sabo was still always drenched with guilt, especially when the princess would go out of her way over and over again to display of the very same kindness he had accused her of lacking initially and if he were honest he much preferred this development of her offering him cake to attacking him.
❝ Princess! ❞ he would greet, cerulean hues widening in overwhelm as he certainly wasn’t expecting the gesture but was grateful for it nonetheless and it had been a good thing he managed to voice it before noticing of the newspaper. ❝ You didn’t have to — Thanks! ❞
As once his focus shifted to a picture of Luffy on the front page, it would become all he saw, his eagerness doubling tenfold. ❝ Oh! It’s Lu! — He seems to be doing alright! ❞ pride and joy leaking ever so evidently in his laughter as his attention locked onto the news before turning to the young female who had been so nice as to gift it with him.
❝ Thank you, for the cake and for sharing this. ❞

A late ass birthday party starter
⊰❁⊱ —
She hadn’t been around when they’d arrived, off exploring a bit of the island. Levi’s Crew and himself had come ashore to be met with the Strawhats’ greetings, only to be ushered around to be shown the refreshments and what not, yet the birthday girl herself was nowhere to be found. That is, until lithe fingers wrapped around the soldier’s wrist seemingly out of nowhere whilst the rest of his crew were being distracted. Her footsteps had been silent, and she tugged him close, a finger coming up to motion for him to be quiet behind a beaming smile.
How glad she was to see him again.
Barefoot and dressed in a flowing white sundress, flowers had been woven into the archaeologist’s long, raven hair and all of this had left her looking nothing short of a sun-kissed, sea-brushed deity. And that deity herself was now leading Levi off past the flower tipped trees, slipping away from the others without a word, until they arrived at a secluded clearing, whose cliff looked off over the sea and where a soft blanket was placed down over top of the grass. Releasing him, Robin took a step forward, looking out to the horizon and enjoying the view as she had been doing when he’d arrived, only to turn back to him after a moment.
“I’m glad you’re here.” She said, dusky eyes warm with favor towards the man. “This may be the only chance we’re given for a calm moment during all of this, and I wanted to share it with you.”
Gaze turned back to the sea, Robin closed her eyes a moment, letting it’s salty breeze brush through her bloom filled hair, a dreamy breath of appreciation leaving her.
“Isn’t it beautiful, Levi?”

Hellooo!!
I read all your soulmate AUs and they are SO well writen! I was wondering if I could request the same soulmate body swap AU with zoro instead?
Absolutely love your writing and thanks in advance😚😚
Hello! i'm sorry i took so long! but here it is and thank you so so much! ❤
That night, the Strawhats were at a bar celebrating Zoro’s 23th birthday. Sanji didn’t want to make cake for him, but Nami asked him very nicely. Brook and Franky sang him songs, and Usopp made him a present. The young man was having fun, surrounded by the people he loved, and even the cook wasn’t being annoying. He was feeling thankful.
— Maybe you’re going to meet your soulmate this year. — Robin smiled.
— Soulmate? — the green haired man raised an eyebrow, not knowing what she was talking about. He was very dense about things like that. — What do you mean?
— When the youngest soulmate turns 23, they switch bodies. And the only way to fix it and switch back is kissing. Not simply kissing, but kissing after falling in love. — she giggled. — Isn’t it fun?
— No! I would hate to be in someone else’s body for who knows how long. And if I don’t fall in love, I’ll never go back to my body.
— Well, mosshead, I don’t think you falling in love would be the problem. — Sanji interrupted the chat. — But someone falling in love with you is impossible.
Even though it was Zoro’s birthday, the two of them couldn’t stay without fighting for 24 hours anyway. Meanwhile, you were having a sleepover at your house with a couple of your best friends. You were drinking some wine, talking about your love life, and hearing your friend’s story about when she met her soulmate. The story about when they met, when they kissed and switched back. It sounded so magical, you couldn’t wait to meet yours.
The next morning, you woke up and stretched before opening your eyes. The house was noisy, more than the usual, and the place smelled so good, like someone was making food. Which was weird since your friends never really made breakfast after a sleepover.
Opening your eyes, you looked around and noticed this wasn’t your room, and the people sleeping there definitely weren’t your friends. For some reason, you felt like you couldn’t see well. Also, the chest with scars and the calloused hands weren’t yours. The portholes made you realize it was a ship. Looking at the people sleeping, they didn’t look like marines, nor had any uniforms in sight. So your soulmate was a pirate! Which was very exciting.
All you could feel was genuine happiness when you realized it your soulmate! You finally switched bodies with him. After years imagining how it’d be and how they looked like, it finally happened.
You got up trying not to wake the others, and went to try to find a mirror as soon as possible, wanting to see every detail of this man. You already knew he had strong arms and a toned chest, but you wanted to see his face.
While heading to the bathroom, you saw a blonde man. Since he was apparently a crewmate, you smiled and greeted him.
— Good morning. — you said, walking trying to find a bathroom before the cook could even answer. Sanji was speechless by Zoro being suddenly polite and waking up earlier than everyone else, that he didn’t even have an answer on the tip of his tongue like he usually does.
You finally found a mirror in the large bathroom. The place was beautiful, not the way you expected a pirate ship to look like.
The reflection showed a green haired man, tanned skin, wearing three earrings on his left ear, the man also had a scar over his left eye, which was closed. He looked intimidating in a good way, if that makes any sense. Damn, that man was good looking.
You traced the scars on his chest slowly, wondering how he got it. You only imagined the stories he could tell you after switching back.
— Marimo, are you going to be there forever? — a knock on the door made you jump. — This bathroom isn’t only yours.
You opened the door and saw the same man from earlier. Giving him an apologetic smile, you made your way out of the room.
— I’m so sorry, I was already leaving.
A few minutes later, everyone started to wake up. During breakfast, you tried to keep as quiet as possible, sweating whenever the cook stared at you as if something suspicious was going on. Should you tell him about what was happening?
— Hey, Zoro, why aren’t you drinking your sake yet? — a boy with a long nose asked you, tilting his head to the side.
— Isn’t it too early to drink that? — you raised an eyebrow. Did your soulmate really drink that early in the morning?
When you asked that, everyone went silent, except the boy with the strawhat, who kept eating everything from his plate and from other plates too. Their eyes were wide, and mouth hanged open.
— Zoro, are you feeling sick? — a cute raccoon asked you. When you saw him talking for the first time, your heart stopped, but everyone on this ship acted as if it was natural. — You usually don’t refuse to drink.
— I’m okay, but thank you. — you smiled, patting the animal’s head.
While finishing your meal, you heard the crew whispering talking to each other while staring at you. It felt awkward, but you tried to act as normal as possible.
— I didn’t think Zoro would find his soulmate so soon. — Robin said. — That was fast. What’s your name? — she asked, looking at you.
— I’m… (Y/N). I’m from a small island, hopefully not far from here. I’m sorry I didn’t say anything… — you bit your lip. — I was afraid of how people would reacted when I told them the truth, so I tried to act… As if I was him, but I have no idea of how he acts.
— You refused beer and were polite with Sanji. You started wrong. — the orange haired girl giggled. — Don’t worry, let’s find your island.
When you told him about where you lived, you realized it’d take around two days to arrive. It was frustrating, but you spent a lifetime waiting, two days are nothing compared to that. You took this time to get to know the crew better, while everyone kept telling you stories about Zoro.
He was a strong swordsman, who always got lost and liked to drink sake. He took many naps and spent the rest of the time practicing. Everyone said nice things about the man, except Sanji. Apparently they fought a lot.
And then the day was finally there, and you could see your town from far. The crew decided to go with you trying to find Zoro, since he probably went out and got lost. You gave a few descriptions about your appearance so they’d know who they’d be looking for.
Walking in front of a forest, you spotted your figure walking. It was your soulmate, who was lost. He was cussing and walking in circles.
— Hey! — you said, smiling and waving, getting his attention. — Found you!
— Ah, I guess you’re my soulmate. — he walked towards you. — I was taking a walk but… This forest wasn’t here before, I don’t know what happened.
You couldn’t help laughing, he wasn’t joking though. He really believed the trees popped out of nowhere like magic, and that’s why he couldn’t find his way back. The two of you went silent, a comfortable silent, just looking at each other.
— My friend explained about soulmates and all… So we can… Try to switch back now, if you want. — he looked away, trying to hide the fact he was extremely flustered.
— Yes, we can. — you bit your lip, cheeks feeling warmer. — I guess we’re alone here, so it’s a good time now.
You closed your eyes and waited for him to make a move. Zoro didn’t have much experience with this, but he wanted to impress you anyway. So his hands gently held your face, while he pulled you into a kiss. A gentle peck that became a little sloppy kiss, you tried to make him follow your movements. He took the hint and finally it felt like your lips were perfectly for each other.
Opening your eyes, you saw your soulmate. His half lidded eyes, and a slight smile on his lips. He looked so good, and cute at the same time. Without any warning, you claimed his lips one more time. The man was caught off guard.
While walking around trying to find the others, you two started to actually talk to know each other.
— Hey, Zoro... — you said, getting his attention. — When did you fall for me?
— Well, I'm not the best with this kind of stuff, but when I saw the swords in your room, I knew the universe brought me the right soulmate.
