My thoughts/review? of some of the sketchbooks I own (in order of appereance). I was thinking this may be helpful to some of you 😁 🔹️Handbook Journal Co. Travelogue Series -Drawing- Paper is off white and thin but handles watercolor just fine. I throw everything on it except copic markers. I like how color pencils look in here. Its a hardcover with a fabric-like texture on the outside which Im not a fan off but nevertheless one of my favorites sketchbooks. Plus lots of pages (128!) Love that!! 🔹️Stillman & Birn Beta Series -Mixed Media- High quality thick and white paper. I discovered water based markers look really good here so that's what Im going to use it for. Its a softcover so not to thrill about that but it feels well made. 🔹️Moleskine Art Plus Sketchbook: Artists favorite. Copic markers look amazing on here. I mostly use just for that plus color pencils and posca markers. High quality durable exterior. This is the fourth I own. 🔹️Strathmore Visual Watercolor Journal I love this watercolor paper. Is thick and has a nice texture plus its cheap. The end. 🔹️Holbein Multimedia Book Paper is thin and heavily textured. Not a fan. Nothing about this is extraordinary but it does the job.
