the worse ''critique'' someone ever gave me was a relative of my best friend who said I 'only sexualize Pyke and i do that because hes black' as if completely ignoring the 100+ posts about Pyke in tumblr, the amount of drawings from 2018 to this day, the handmade pins totebags and stickers, the mental scenarios i make in my mind when i go to sleep, the self insert character i've made for each of his skins, the posters in my room of wich none are nsfw. Buddy if you wanna pull a valid critique tell me im a obsessive motherfucker with a fictional character who makes justice with own hands by harming and killing people in the process. Seriously. It'll look better.
I mean. I want him. Carnally. But after i've comforted him for the time enough needed.
#straight white men when they see a woman with interest on a black person be like#again self exposing my private life on tumblr but yes who cares i dont even talk to this person anymore#i really despise him and i dont even want to talk to him ever again#my best friend is very cool though he understood everything and made sure we would never interact again#he's the best friend in the world#but. yes.#i want to fuck him#SO WHAT? fight me. we all want to fuck him.#it is not only me. we all do. we want to fuck him. we want him romantically.#yeahhhh this person ended up having a romantic interest towards me so um#i dont think them accusing me of racism + other things really helped his 'rizz'

warnings- mention of stalking
---------
Harry was waiting on the text from Brant.
Katherine had insisted she would end the contract, but it had been silent for two days. He was angry, this was taking too long. Harry wasn’t known for his patience and rightfully so, he was running out- If he hadn’t been already. He wanted to take Y/N public. This farce needed to end.
She had been less than pleased with him after finding out he hadn’t stopped fucking her once he noticed Katherine, but she also sort of understood him. She knew he was trying to get this contract to be ended because he really wanted to be with her alone, keep it from running the remainder of the course but she was also concerned.
This woman had to be unhinged. To break and enter into a home, it was showing desperation and Y/N didn’t like it one bit. She seemed to see what Harry didn’t. A woman who had what she wanted taken away from her. Something that she only saw possible with Harry’s help, for whatever reason. Y/N knew there were dozens of other successful businessmen in the circle she hung out in, but she also knew Harry was the best of the best. The top dog. She wouldn’t even just say that because she loved him- it was a straight fact. Harry was one of the richest men from one of the richest families, an elite in the circles of higher society, and he was someone who got a lot of attention despite trying to stay under the radar.
So why Katherine set her sights on one of the most privacy seeking men in the lineup? Neither one of them had a clue. The only thing Y/N could manage was that she wanted to be the one that changed him. That was laughable considering Harry was the most stubborn and sure of himself person she knew- an Y/N had met a lot of people.
One of the things Harry liked most about Y/N is she had no desire to change him. As cliche as it sounded, she liked him for him. She was aware of his grouchy disposition, knew he would never stand for his employees or disrespect, knew he was blunt and could be cruel. But he had a soft underbelly that no one else got to see besides her. She watched him silently, anonymously donating thousands and thousands to charities. He was kind to children, kneeling to get to their level and speaking to them in a soft tone, like little adults. He paid for some of his employees' children to go to college, albeit through a scholarship that was entirely funded by him. They’d never know he did it by himself, because he didn’t want praise. He didn’t do anything for public acceptance.
The man treated her like a goddess. A princess. The most precious thing to him. Something in him switched when he looked at her, the cold, bored look, the stoicness turning to a melty fondness in his irises. His tone softened, his strong grip loosening to a gentle caress as he held her hand in his own and did his signature kiss to her knuckles before pressing the back of her hand to his cheek. He’d done it the night they’d met, claiming infatuation at first sight that had turned into love fairly quickly.
People around them that knew, Harry’s actual friends and his housekeeper at the lake had expressed shock at how he had been around her. While he was definitely looser and more pleasant around them, Y/N’s treatment had caught them off guard. There was no doubt in any of their minds that he had found The One.
Y/N found it interesting to watch the switch. To see him sitting there on a business video call with his immaculate posture, his brows slightly furrowed and jaw tense as his hands sat folded in front of him. He was working from home today, wearing black pinstriped trousers and a crisp white button up to keep it somewhat casual, but they were immaculately pressed. His hair was slicked back, but the one piece that always gave him an issue curled around his forehead, making her heart flutter. How a man was as handsome as him was a mystery to her, but the fact that he was hers was something that made her feel all sorts of warmth all over. Looking over his computer screen, she saw the moment he took her in. His eyes changed as he spotted her, clad only in one of his light blue button ups and her hair in a bun she threw up haphazardly at the nape of her neck, tendrils loose in front of her face. Leaning in the doorway, she wiggled her fingertips at him before leaning her hip up against the doorframe.
“Gentlemen, I have a situation that needs attending to. We will resume tomorrow when I am in office.” He said before swiftly clicking out of his meeting. Closing his laptop and leaning back in his chair. His finger curled, motioning her to him. He had no problem putting things off when it came to Y/N and that was another reason she knew she was different than anything else for him. Harry had been married to work before her, and his devotion was now much more appropriate.
“I’m a situation, hm?” Y/N laughed, padding over to his chair. It was no surprise that she was pulled into his lap, straddling it as he cupped the back of her neck and pulled her into him to give her a thorough kiss. He tasted slightly like coffee and his mint gum he chewed religiously, other hand sliding down to slip underneath his shirt and caress the curve of her back. With a soft hum, he managed to peel himself away, nudging her nose with his own.
“Mmm. My best situation.” He smiled. Y/N’s thumb found his dimple, pressing into it before settling herself on him with her weight. “I’m glad you came and found me. You were sleeping so soundly before, didn’t want to disturb you.” His lips brushed her cheek, remembering her sleepy form underneath his plushy white bedspread. Her hair flowing over the pillows and her sleep swollen lips parted slightly, puffing out soft breaths as she slept. She’d stirred a bit when Harry moved, but settled once he gently tucked her back under the duvet. He had half a mind to say fuck it to the meeting and spend the morning rolling in the sheets, worshiping his beautiful lover, but he knew what he needed to do.
“That’s okay. Remembered that you told me you had that meeting so I figured where you were in here.” Resting her head against his, she relaxed further in his hold, the rhythmic stroking of her bare back making her already slightly sleepy state worsen. She’d brushed her teeth, gotten dressed in his shirt and washed her face, but she was fresh out of bed. Still warm and pliant, eyes a little heavy with the leftover sleep. “Was it going good? Didn’t have to end on my account. I was just going to sit on the couch.” She liked his leather couch against the wall. This room also functioned as a makeshift library, so she would find a book and relax until he was done, normally.
“Didn’t care. Wasn’t something I felt like investing in but to be honest, you looked far too stunning in my shirt. Couldn’t help myself.” He smiled, gently massaging the back of her neck. “Y’know it’s my favorite way to see you. My soft girl.” Harry was sure it was probably not a good habit to get into, but he had rose colored glasses on. The sweet bliss of strawberry pink love, fluffy like cotton candy and soft like silk, he couldn’t deprive himself of time with Y/N. He was addicted to her inside and out, needy and hungry for attention in a way he didn’t know a human was. Before her, he thought people were making it up. This whole love thing, not being able to stay away, feeling like your heart belonged to someone else. Y/N had blown up his world view and expanded it tenfold.
Of course she didn’t want to break the moment, but the suspense was killing her. Keeping his face in her hands, she fixed him a soft look before proceeding with the question. “Has Brant emailed you, texted, called? About the contract termination?” She whispered, knowing it would piss him off. The reminder did as she expected, his back stiffening slightly. HIs brows fixed, making her well aware of the answer. “No, huh?” A sad smile rose to her face, knowing that Katherine was only making it worse for herself.
Harry went very far for people he loved, but this was a new level. He was bloodthirsty. Willing to ruin it for her, her inheritance, her life if she didn’t listen to him. He gave her a few days, but she hadn’t taken it upon herself to talk to her father. He wasn’t going to spare any details. “No. I was going to call him after my meeting.” He sighed. “I don’t understand her stupidity. I could charge with breaking and entering, but I haven’t. She doesn’t seem to understand.” It was tiresome now. He didn’t want to go through the effort, but he would. He was tired of holding Y/N away and pretending he was into anyone else. Crazy Heiress or anyone else, he wanted his and Y/N’s names linked together forever. Loving her made him possessive and eager to share that she was his, that he was taken. No mistakes being made that he was taken- by the right woman.
“I think that’s a good idea. Something seems… off about her.” Y/N whispered, as if she was being watched. Something felt a bit off. “I think you should do it sooner rather than later. I don’t like that she’s been silent.” It was highly unlikely for her to take days off of posting, and Y/N had checked to see if she had announced a break up or something. Nothing. It was a red flag, in her opinion. Something was wrong with her and her gut instinct was to proceed with caution.
“I may as well get it over with.” He mumbled, adjusting her in his lap so she was strown across it. Her head laid on his shoulder, one arm around her while the other picked up his work phone and dialled the number. It only took 3 rings and it was answered, a jubilant greeting coming from Brant- which meant he definitely didn’t know.
“Hello. I have some rather unfortunate news.” He said into the phone. “Well, I’m sure you’re aware of your daughter’s rather unhinged behavior as of late. I’m sure you also know I’ve had no real interest in her, but I was seen with her in public and allowed her to use my name and image to boost not only her name, but your own as well. I’m sure you also haven’t heard from her personally in the last three days.” Harry had a little bit of joy in knowing that Katherine was going to get punished. In some way, somehow, he was going to punish her and she was going to be taken out of his life.
“I’ve been lenient. I’ve been much more patient with your daughter than she deserves, because quite frankly, she’s a spoiled brat with not a single lick of sense floating through her thick skull. Enough so to break into not only my office, but my home. She found me with another woman, the woman I am committed to in my personal life. She watched, like a pervert, and had the nerve to continue to try and argue with me. She called my real woman some things I won’t repeat, but I will remind you there was no clause indicating fidelity, and I’d simply found my match after the contract was signed.” He sighed, hearing sputtering from the other line.
“I’m going to give you options here. Options because I know, Brant, that you value your business. I want the contract called off. I want it ripped to shreds, annulled, and my acquisition is going to drop. I will offer it to another parent company, but in good faith I don’t feel it is a worthy investment for me, but I keep my word.” He spoke clear, concise, though Y/N knew he was fuming. Recalling the things, stewing over them. “I want my name to be separated from every branch of your family. You couldn’t keep the leash your daughter so desperately needs tight enough and she’s gotten scrappy. You both are very lucky I didn’t charge any sort of charges against her. She’s your daughter and she is a reflection of one. A poor one. I don’t know if the fillers she gets have leaked into her blood, I don’t know if she’s gone mad with supposed and fleeting social power, I don’t know if there is something otherwise wrong with her. I want her out of my life, out of my sight, and I want it to stay that way.” It was silent on the other end, but Harry wasn’t finished.
“So what you can do, is tell her that she needs to get some help. I presume you didn’t give her enough attention as a child, paid her off with gifts and trips instead of the affection a child actually needs and now she seeks validation from others, including the internet, and feeds off of that alone. Something along those lines. You can dissolve the contract on your own, quietly, or I can make a large deal about it. Leaking some things to the press as she had done, I can call the police and show them the footage of her breaking into my apartment. I can ruin your family name in just gossip alone. So I suggest you weigh your options carefully before giving me an answer, though it’s very obvious what the choice should be.” He squeezed Y/N’s waist softly as he hung up the phone.
Y/N got another glimpse of business Harry, but it was personal this time. He was angry, making her reach to smooth the wrinkles at his brow. “Unclench your jaw, baby.” She urged, smiling lightly at him. “It’s all up to him now. I would assume he would have some sense. And soon, we won’t have to hide at all.” That was the silver lining in all of this. Kathering dug her own grave, and Harry had pushed her into the hole, 6 feet under. He gave her a shot to make it correct but she didn’t do as needed, and he had to take matters into his own hands. Now he was.
“I know, baby.” He murmured. “I just hate that I went along with it this long but…” He moved to hiss her forehead. “It’ll be over soon. All we have to do is wait for the call.”

If Thea was Theo, a controversial opinion
I want to preface this post by stating that this is not meant to change anyone's mind or opinion. I am not here to tell you to like a character or to ship a certain ship. You are free to hate Thea, write her off your fics, ignore her existence, and ship Kevin with the milkman if you so desire. This is also not an essay. Instead, think of it as the thought dump of someone munching over it for days.
This all started with a conversation about Thea with a couple people on a Discord server. I've been mostly neutral about Thea, not understanding the overall hate but not knowing much about her either. It led me to read Nora's most recent post about Thea, the replies and the "Why do you not like Thea?" poll, and I've seen plenty of Tweets about her, too.
In general, I noticed one main element when people explain their stance: it is not because Thea is a woman and people want to ship Kevin with male characters. The real reason(s), branched in different directions: the age gap, the lack of building of her character, how little she shows up/how little we know about her/the feeling of her being shoo-ed in out of nowhere as Kevin's love interest, and her attitude (inc. her lack for communication with Kevin after he left the Nest, her comment to Jean in TSC, etc.)
I have been in many fandoms for over a decade, some with more prominent mlm ships, and to be honest, none of those reasons seemed to truly justify the dislike of Thea to the degree she is disliked in the fandom as a whole, especially as the romantic interest of a main character. It seemed to me that most of it is rooted in the desire for Kevin NOT to be straight, but to be gay and be with a guy (or bi, but I see more people using "gay" for Kevin. And some prefer Aro/Ace Kevin, but these fans are a bit more quiet and subdued with their headcanon.) See, even taking Thea out of the equation, there are no popular mlw ships for Kevin with characters from canon, and even in fanon ships the counterparts are mostly (if not all) men.
That got me thinking: "What if Thea was Theo? How would that change how fans interact with this character, even if her personality was the same? What about the relationship with Kevin? Would fans approach the ship differently if he had had Theo as a boyfriend instead of Thea as a girlfriend?"
Of course, it is all hypothetical. For one, a big part of her character is that she is a woman of color (note that I am not black, so I am in no position to talk about how her race plays out with her character) in a predominately male and white team (violent cult) that had to fight her way to the top. It wouldn't quite have the same weight or the same background if she was a male. For two, I am aware it would bring another discourse to the table, that of the "predatory gay men stereotype" (even though there was nothing predatory or "grooming" in their relationship, but that conversation is not for this post.) I am sure plenty of fans would still hate the Kevin/Theo ship, and Theo himself.
Still, I allowed myself to picture it. I read, once, that women used to ship male characters together because female characters were underdeveloped and were not interesting. I wondered if this applies to fandom as well, how certain fandoms prefer to develop and grow male characters.
Things like "lack of canon information about Theo" would not be an issue. Fans are very good at filling in the blanks and building a character from the few spare parts given by the source. This also applies to "there is almost no interaction with Kevin" because let's be honest here, guys, ships are sometimes made from nothing. Rarepairs exist, and even ships like pre-TSC Jerejean can explode in popularity.
With how big of a part Kevin plays in the books and how big his shipping fandom is, if Theo was a thing, I truly believe we would have seen him bloom in fanon spaces. He would have given space and opportunity to grow, change and develop both as a character and in his relationship with Kevin.
The "forbidden relationship" trope and the possibility for angst would have fans foaming, fics working around Theo's past and how he had to fight his way to the top would be written, AUs where he leaves the beliefs of the cult behind and reunites with Kevin would also exist. We would see stories about how his and Kevin's love story played out before and after Kevin left the Nest (at least one primarily focused on the notes they used to pass each other in secret). His mean comments and bitchiness would be ignored, played down, understood, forgiven, or found charming (like Andrew's throughout the series, or even Abby's in TSC.) In a few words, he would be more present and less disliked.
AFTG is a predominately queer fandom, and there is nothing wrong with wanting representation, but I also think it's necessary to use the same scale for female and male characters that are romantically or sexually involved with more popular ones. It's fine not to like Thea, but also to sit and think: would I asses a male character in the same way? How would my view of them change regarding their gender? Just food for thought, I guess.
Again, this is not a call to action of any sort. It is just me, rambling and putting my thoughts down. I can't see different realities so this is basically all fiction. I wanted to take it out of my brain, hear what others think and that's it. Ship what makes you happy. Create what inspires you. Curate your experience. All that being said, Id love to hear your thoughts, but I wont debate anyone's opinion because that's truly, not what Im seeking.
This got longer than I intended so I'll end this here. If you made it, thanks! I hope you have a nice day.

Sydney, Love, Beauty
I don’t know if many others noticed but Syd seems to have glammed up a little in the later episodes of S2. It’s very slight, you would almost miss it but it’s there. She has on shiny sheer lip color (yes, her lips always looked so dry last season, thank you), a sliver of eyeliner, and a touch of mascara. I also noticed her lighting is much improved showing off her perfect skin.
Syd has always been attractive but it just really stuck out to me that after the arrival of Claire she’s looking just a tad more dolled up. Is it connected? Did the makeup artist just decide to experiment more? Will we see more changes in the future?
As a black woman I’m obviously going to analyze this more. Black women are always going to notice how we are portrayed onscreen aesthetically. I remember being so pissed, along with much of the black TWD fandom, about how wamp, wamp Michonne’s wigs were. Were we being reasonable? Would any of us have amazingly groomed dreads during a zombie apocalypse? It wasn’t like the white women had fresh blowouts. Was it on purpose or an oversight?
Back to Syd. They could keep Syd looking the same. They could change her to look more glam. Either choice has implications.
A lot of people read Sydney’s style as signaling that she’s a lesbian. That could make sense. Plenty of lesbians style themselves like Syd. But it could also mean nothing. I have two black women friends that dress very tomboyish and both are very straight. They are like sisters to me. I could testify in court they love dick. But especially for black women any sign of non feminine coded style signals gay. I think this feeds into people having a hard time seeing Syd as interested in men or having the show’s sex symbol attracted to her. She could turn out to be gay but I doubt it given the slow burn with Carmy. She could be bisexual which leaves possibilities open. But I think it’s very interesting that the production choices didn’t decide to make Syd a girlie girl when the writing is making her an object of men’s affections. Part of me is really into that.
On the other hand part of me would love to see her have a glam moment. But this could be potentially problematic. Syd has style but also seems to dress for practicality. So if she is consciously making an effort to look more feminine where is it coming from? Is she just growing into a new look? Is she trying to catch Carmy’s eye? Are the producers consciously trying to make her more appealing to the general audience as a romantic lead?
Personally, I would love to see Syd switch it up a little but not go too far. I would love her to have a more modern hairstyle. Box braids are classic but I want to see a more sophisticated, trendy style. Someone posted about her getting knotless boho braids or passion twists. I’m into it. I just feel like Syd is up on design and I want to see her step her game up as her career rises. I don’t mind the little bit of makeup we saw and would love to see a slightly bolder look if she has someplace to go that’s not a restaurant. On that note, can we please see her somewhere that’s not food related? I also wouldn’t mind seeing her in some lighter colors in her street wear. Her wardrobe was so dark this season.
What I don’t want to see is her doing like a full extreme makeover and that’s the thing that seems to be the catalyst for Carmy to realize he loves her. I feel like that’s fine in some white girl Cinderella story but leaves me cold in a black woman’s love story. And if they do a silk press and that’s her glow up I would be super pissed. I’m not anti her ever having straight hair but if it’s like oh, now the white boy falls for her I will ride at dawn to FX.
I wonder what Sydney’s perceptions of her looks are. She seems confident in so many ways. But, yeah, why did she decide to randomly have a glossy lip? Does she view herself as pretty? Has she dated? Has she been told she’s beautiful?
I’m rambling but my point is she can glow up a bit but I never want the messaging to be she had to “get pretty” to get the guy. If she makes changes I want it to be because she’s evolving, maybe a little flirty, but not thinking she has to be a different person to get who she wants.

Moonlight (Leon x Reader)
a little one shot that came to my mind while listening to "Moonlight" by Kali Uchis (what a queen..). it's a light smut, apologies in advance for any errors, and feel free to share your thoughts ;) enjoy your reading ladies!
After meticulously applying her gloss, enhancing her luscious lips with a touch of shine, (Name) cast a final glance at her reflection in the mirror.
You look absolutely stunning, she thought to herself, blowing a kiss towards her reflection.
She was confident in her appearance. Clad in a sumptuous long black satin dress that delicately hugged her feminine curves, she exuded an aura of self-assurance. The strapless dress accentuated her bare shoulders and her smooth, sun-kissed skin. The sweetheart neckline enhanced her cleavage, adding a touch of sensuality to her outfit. She felt like a goddess, ready to step out and dazzle anyone who had the chance to cross her path.
A few months had passed since her mission in Spain to save the President's daughter, and she had been invited to a private party organized by the White House. She knew she would be surrounded by important personalities, and that elegance was a must, but most importantly, she knew that her former mission partner, Leon, would be there.
And she was heading to the event with a clear goal in mind.
As she entered the building where the party was taking place, she arched an eyebrow as she noticed several heads turning at her arrival. The gazes seemed unable to look away from her. (Name) was a woman of breathtaking beauty, even in her everyday life. Her piercing eyes, enchanting smile, and mesmerizing lips made it seem like she descended straight from the heavens, and she was aware of it.
As a talented special agent, she excelled in her work, but outside of it, she took particular pleasure in going out and impressing the people she met.
She spotted Agent Kennedy sitting at the back of the room, near the bar, and their eyes met.
There you are, she thought in her head.
He appraised her with his gaze, swirling his glass of whiskey in his right hand, before turning back to the bartender. A slight glimmer of interest flashed in Agent Kennedy's eyes, but he showed no visible reaction.
You know, what was unique about Leon was that she felt irresistibly drawn to him in a way different from all the other men she had met. She was intrigued by his mysterious personality, his aversion to talking about himself or his past. Yet, she could see in his eyes every day that he had suffered greatly.
But it was precisely this aspect that made her feel intense emotions for him. Beyond his attractive physical appearance, she admired his strength, courage, and determination to always complete his missions, no matter how difficult, without ever being discouraged by his tumultuous past.
When they had been sent on a mission together in Spain, Leon and she hadn't had much opportunity to exchange about their lives, as both were preoccupied with the dire situation and their mission at that time. But she had felt several times his lingering gaze on her, and it was not a look filled with concern related to the situation they were in. It was a gaze filled with desire. A few times, their eyes met, locked for a few long seconds without a word being exchanged. But everything was in that stare, and (Name) had clearly felt it.
Leon heard heels echoing behind him as he finished his last sip of whisky.
"Good evening, handsome," said a feminine voice behind his shoulder.
"(Name)," he replied calmly without turning around.
The young woman took the stool next to him and also ordered a whisky from the bartender in front of them.
"Isn't it going to be too strong for you?" he continued with a teasing smirk.
"I didn't know you knew how to smile," retorted (Name) playfully.
"Hard to smile when you've lived my life," Leon replied, letting his suffering show through his eyes.
That gaze. That gaze that spoke volumes about his pain, and it deeply touched (Name). She knew that pain, she had felt it too. But that night, she wanted to try to replace that sadness with ecstasy.
She gently placed her right hand on the face of the special agent, forcing him to meet her bewitching gaze.
"You would like to think of something else, wouldn't you, sweetheart?" she whispered.
Leon was accustomed to the different nicknames that this woman called him, even during missions, he had already heard them. Unlike Luis' teasing attitude, whom he had met during this mission, (Name)'s nicknames never bothered him, and he had never made a remark asking her to stop.
He finally turned towards her, facing the young woman and staring straight into her eyes. She felt her heart race in her chest, overwhelmed by excitement. Her mind got lost in the deep blue of his eyes, and no words were exchanged for a few seconds. The look said it all between them. It was that way.
"Here you go, miss," said the waiter, breaking the silence as he brought the drink that (Name) had ordered.
She gave her partner a slight smile before turning to take a sip of whisky, maintaining that captivating attitude that could have made anyone swoon. Leon's gaze shifted to her lips, wondering if the taste of the drink would still linger if he decided to kiss her, then discreetly descended to her neckline, giving rise to naughty thoughts in his mind.
"I don't think we have time for any smalltalk " (Name) continued, deliberately placing her hand on the top of the government agent's thigh.
She leaned in slowly towards Leon's ear and whispered the following words: "I think we've spent enough time here. You should take me back to my place. I don't think the president would have a problem with the two agents who saved his daughter leaving early."
Leon's gaze instantly transformed, giving way to a burning desire. "You must be right."
.
(Name) had brought Leon to her place, and now the two of them were on the balcony of her apartment. The moon promised an enchanting reflection on the top of the buildings.
Kali Uchis' song "Moonlight" played in the background, creating an atmosphere charged with excitement, tension, and obvious desire. As usual, Agent Kennedy was not very talkative, while (Name) took a cigarette out of her pocket and brought it to her lips.
"I'm not offering you one-
Before she could even light it, she felt a strong arm pull her into an embrace, causing her to drop the cigarette to the ground in surprise. A wave of heat spread through her body as she found herself inches away from her soon-to-be lover. The moonlight danced in their eyes, and she felt her heart race with excitement.
"I thought we said no time for smalltalk" Leon said.
She let out a small laugh in response, followed by a slight gasp as Leon firmly grabbed her ass.
That wasn't expected from him. (Name) thought as Leon's fingers didn't hesitate to slip between her legs, sending a hot sensation through her lower body.
Their lips barely brushed against each other, and they could feel their breath quicken in mutual excitement as it only took one question before both of them succumbed to their primal instincts.
Leon finally captured (Name)'s lips, wasting no time in delicately sliding his tongue into her mouth, now dancing with his partner's. This kiss was filled with burning desire, reflecting the longing they felt for each other.
He wasted no time and abruptly lifted (Name) in his arms to carry her inside the apartment, their lips still sealed against each other.
My God, this kiss was something she had never been able to share before.
She needed him, needed to feel him close to her, skin against skin. She was so desperate to feel him inside her.
And as she wished, the night progressed, and they lost themselves in each other, exploring each other's bodies with passion, satisfying their primal instincts and mutual desires.
The only sounds in the apartment were their ragged breaths and moans, expressing intense pleasure. The night turned into a mix of emotions and intense sensations as they made love under the moonlight.
They let go of each other, putting aside all the bad memories and dreams they might have had at some point.

@yekkes
Oh my god so glad you asked!!! There are many different types of Expat in Korea:
FB Rant Woman is who I’d classify as “First Time Minority.” There are many of these. They’re white people that usually believe that they now understand systemic oppression because they’re now a minority group in Korea and xenophobia exists. Probably doesn’t believe that they have white privilege in Korea.
Will say anything seemingly negative that happens to them is racism. Korean person not interested in having a serious relationship with expats that will most likely leave the country in the next 1-2 years? Racism. Korean person doesn’t understand their accent when they speak Korean (their pronunciation sucks)? Racism. It’s all racism. They understand now. Don’t you see, American Person of Color? Here, we’re the same 🫶🏽
Other types of expats are:
The Koreaboo
They love KPop and K-dramas and moved to Korea to find their oppar. This expat either has a Korean boyfriend who is an ugly loser or is attractive and clearly not taking the relationship as seriously as she is, or a revolving cast of Korean boyfriends that changes so fast you never can actually learn their names. You would warn her that most men looking to date foreign women are only really looking for casual relationships, but she’s insufferable so you don’t bother.
If she sees you on the street when she’s with her boyfriend, she’s going to glare at you even though he looks like a foot and is chronically unemployed. In her mind, you want him. And that’s all that matters.
She’s an English teacher, but she really doesn’t care about her job. Has an annoying social media presence with titles like “My KOREAN BOYFRIEND tries NEW YORK PIZZA for the FIRST TIME!!”
She posts on the FB groups about how her boyfriend won’t introduce her to his family. People try to tell her that, culturally, people in Korea don’t introduce partners unless they’re engaged and about to get married. She doesn’t get it.
The Loser Back Home
This person is usually a white man who for some reason could not cash into his white male privilege in his country of origin, so he came to Korea expecting Korean women to throw coochie at him simply because he’s white. The LBH fetishizes Korean women, and loathes non-Korean woman. He’s also insufferable.
Also an English teacher, not good at his job. Has lived in Korea for 10+ years and speaks little to no Korean. Sometimes has a Korean wife that you pray divorces him eventually. He usually relies on her to do everything because he refuses to learn Korean.
The “Why are You Still Here?
This person has also lived in Korea for 10+ years and they HATE the country. They don’t like the food, the people, their jobs, the culture, everything. Chronically miserable.
You ask them why they’re still here, and they never have a straight answer. It’s implicitly understood that they’ve been living in Korea for most of their adult life, and don’t know what they’d do if they left. If they do leave, they’re going to a nearby country (probably Japan or China) to start the process all over again.
The College Student
This person is studying abroad for a semester. Commonly seen in Hongdae clubs. They’re 19 and they can drink legally in Korea and it’s about to be everyone’s problem!
This group has overlap with the Koreaboo.
The Military Man
This person is a man in the US military. He’s either looking to get married to someone after knowing them for 5 business days, or is cheating on their wife with whom they share 3 children (with one on the way!) Swears he gets tested regularly, but will give you an STI. If he’s been in Korea for years, he probably ended up on The Black Book fb group to warn women to not interact with him. (TBB got shut down because other women started leaking the information to the men listed in it, and they threatened to sue the moderators. RIP TBB you saved many a life.)
This person is reviled by everyone in the country, expats included, because he is a menace. He and his friends terrorize the innocent citizens of whatever poor city their base is closest to. Avoid at all costs.
The Traveler
This person hasn’t lived in their country of origin for years, and has mostly been jumping from country to country for adventure! They live in Korea because 1. It’s a nice place to live., 2. Relatively low cost of living, and 3. Close to other countries. A holiday is coming up? They’re going to Thailand. They got vacation days? They’re spending it in Vietnam.
Either very chill and interesting, or insufferable.
And finally; The Running Away from Something. (That’s me!!)
This person is living in Korea because for some reason they do not want to be in their country of origin.
Shitty family? It’s hard to keep in contact with a 12 hour time difference. Don’t know what they’re gonna do with their life? English teaching in Korea is a good gap year job to let you save and figure your shit out. Mentally ill? Oh you stupid bitch. Go make that appointment at the Itaewon International Clinic. DO IT NOW.
Is either staying 1-2 years, or ends up living there forever. No in between.

I'm not trusting y'all again. I got my beef with Kendrick. He's a good artist, but he's still got some hotep tendencies that I can never really accept. HOWEVER. Y'all really had me believing Auntie Diaries was this embarassing no go, when it really wasn't.
I can totally accept that it's jarring. It is. It's like most black people are tired of seeing black people suffer on screen right? I distrust most of these movies, but once in a blue moon you will get a Moonlight or a Get Out. For people who staunchly dislike black suffering on screen (because of real life obviously) it will still be a jarring and uncomfortable watch, but both movies are amazing and well done. They nail their subject matter.
And so did Kendrick. Auntie Diaries is not a song for trans people in that sense. It is pro trans, but again it is not there to meet trans people where they are (ahead of us cis people). Which is why I'm not trying to speak over trans people or telling them they have to like it. It is about meeting cis people where they are. And arguably black religious cis people.
It is also about Kendricks own journey to understanding his family members who have transitioned and how his behaviour harmed his relationship with his family members. Yes he uses slurs, but critically towards the end of the song he stops doing that and censores the slur as "F-Bomb". Because the song is supposed to symbolize his learning curve. He also turns it around and says we can all use it together, but only if we say using the n-word is okay. Something that he has experienced himself. At one of his shows he asked a white fan to not use it and gave her the mic she then proceeded to censor it once and then say it thought the verse.
The end of the song is him saying he chose humanity over his religion. He wants to love his family and that he also wants to stop being a hypocrite.
My personal assesment of him is that he is a hypocrite. But humams contain multitudes right?
He just really isn't a hypocrite about this.
But I also just followed whatever the hell people on here were saying and never confirmed shit for myself so who am I to judge?
Again I'm not saying he deserves flowers for this. Even though I'm very sure this could have been and interesting conversation to have. I also think anti blackness and maybe just a valid general distrust of cis straight men (and to white people the fact that he's black) played into this incredibly uncharitable reading of this song.
And I guess today I'm extra mad about it, because I saw someone come for Megan the Stallion about her not actually being bisexual. How is openly dating a woman as a famous person the standard? How many lesbians who are famous only really go out with their partners when it's long term? How many famous white lesbians can you name that are out in town with women they aren't married to? Yeah, do you think that it might be because the scrutiny is draining and scary? Do they need to show up with a girl so you can tick it off in your little who's really gay box?
I really can't help but feel white LGBTQ+ people don't want us to be a part of the conversation at all. And if we are a part of it it has to be in a demure and simple way. There is no room for complexity or to bring up issues. Truely in a glitzy glam respectability era.
Also stop acting like y'all grew up super unproblematic. I know some of y'all were straight up acting like demons because y'all couldn't accept yourself. If we can hold space for that complicated journey why not for a man who struggled to understand and accept his family members, because of all the conflicting messaging he was getting, but then found his way to love them and put them above his religion?

Shadows in Liyue Harbor
The moon hung high in the sky, casting a silver glow over Liyue Harbor. The bustling city, typically a haven of commerce and luxury, was quieter tonight, as if the air itself held its breath. Y/N, disguised as a mortal woman, slipped through the shadows like a wraith, her black hair flowing behind her like liquid night. Her black dark lenses concealed the truth. She had long learned to keep her true self hidden, even when she wore the guise of a mere adventurer.
Beside her walked Maki, as cool and unbothered as ever. Her Red hair caught in the soft wind, framing her face like a fiery halo. She moved with an elegance that belied her power, her eyes distant yet always calculating. Y/N felt a thrill of excitement beneath her skin; tonight was not just about hunting demons—it was about something much more personal.
"Do you think they'll recognize us?" Y/N asked playfully, glancing sideways at Maki. "I mean, we do look pretty good tonight."
Maki raised an eyebrow, a faint smirk tugging at her lips. "If they do, it'll only make the hunt more interesting. But I doubt they'll see past your charming disguise."
"Charming? I was going for mysterious," Y/N replied with a mock pout.
"Mysterious is just another word for 'hard to read,'" Maki countered nonchalantly. "And you've always been good at that."
Y/N's grin faded slightly as she pondered Maki's words. "You know me too well," she admitted, her voice dropping to a whisper. "Sometimes I feel like I'm losing pieces of myself."
Maki's gaze softened for just a moment before returning to its usual coolness. "You're not losing anything; you're simply... evolving. Just remember what you're capable of."
As they approached a large, ornate building where a secret gathering was being held, Y/N felt the familiar pull of demonic energy thrumming beneath layers of human glamour. She had been ordered by her father to track down these ancient demons who had eluded divine judgment for centuries. They'd infiltrated the high society of Teyvat, blending in among the powerful and wealthy. It disgusted her but also made the hunt more thrilling.
"Let's have some fun," Y/N whispered to Maki, her smile widening as she pushed open the heavy door without hesitation.
Inside, the room was filled with noblemen whose eyes snapped to the newcomers like hawks spotting prey. At the head of the table sat Ningguang, stunningly beautiful in her elegant white and gold attire. Her sharp gaze pierced through the haze of the gathering as if she could see straight into Y/N's soul. For a brief moment, time seemed to freeze; there was something hauntingly familiar about Ningguang—her presence resonated with echoes from Y/N's past life.
But Ningguang's expression quickly shifted from mild surprise to annoyance. Her lips pressed into a thin line. "Who are you, and what is the meaning of this interruption?"
Y/N tilted her head slightly, maintaining her playful demeanor despite the weight of Ningguang's glare. "Y/N. Adventurer. Sorry to barge in, but I think you might be in danger." She glanced at the bachelors seated around the table—each one exuding an air of nobility but carrying a faint scent of sulfur that hinted at their true nature. "Demons, you know."Ningguang's eyes narrowed further; suspicion etched across her face. "Demons? Are you accusing my potential suitors of being demons?"Y/N shrugged; an undercurrent of seriousness laced her words. "Yeah. I tend to have a nose for these things. Trust me; they're not here to give you a child—they're here to take your soul."
Ningguang's irritation deepened; before she could retort, one of the men at the table—a tall bachelor with dark hair and an unnerving smile—stood up sharply. "How dare you come in here with such baseless accusations?"
Y/N let out a low chuckle; folding her arms across her chest as she met his gaze unflinchingly. "Baseless? Honey, you're leaking enough dark energy that I'm surprised you haven't turned into a full-on monster yet." She paused for effect before adding with mock sincerity, "Though I have to admit—the whole dashing nobleman thing is quite charming."
The atmosphere thickened with tension; shadows seemed to stretch across the room as demonic energy surged in response to her taunt
"Enough!" Ningguang shouted, but Y/N had already made up her mind.
With fluid grace, she stepped forward and drew an ornate dagger from beneath her cloak—a weapon imbued with ancient power that glimmered ominously in the dim light. The room fell silent as all eyes turned toward her
."Let me show you what happens when you play with fire," Y/N declared.
Before anyone could react, she lunged at the nearest demon—a man whose facade had begun to crack under pressure—and plunged the dagger into his chest with lethal precision. The demon's scream echoed through the hall as he disintegrated into ash before their eyes.Chaos erupted as panic spread among the remaining demons and nobles alike.
"Get back!" one of them shouted as he scrambled for safety.
Y/N spun around swiftly; another demon lunged at her from behind but met only air as she sidestepped effortlessly and delivered another swift strike—this time aiming for his throat.
Maki watched with quiet amusement; an approving glint in her eyes as Y/N dispatched each demon with ruthless efficiency.
"Who knew you had such flair for theatrics?" Maki remarked dryly amidst the chaos.
"I aim to please," Y/N shot back playfully even as she dispatched another demon with ease.
Ningguang stood frozen in shock; disbelief etched across her features as she witnessed Y/N's lethal prowess firsthand."You...you can't just—" Ningguang stammered.
Y/N turned toward Ningguang with an enigmatic smile; wiping blood from her blade before sheathing it again. "Oh? But I just did."
Silence enveloped them once more; all eyes were on Y/N—the hunter who had become both savior and executioner in one swift motion.
"Now," Y/N said casually; brushing off remnants of battle from her attire as if it were nothing more than dirt on fabric. "What about that deal we were discussing?"
Ningguang blinked rapidly; clearly still processing what had just transpired before finally managing to utter words laced with both awe and irritation: "Tomorrow, meet me in the jade chamber"
Y/N smiled broadly; bowing dramatically as though sealing an ancient pact between rivals rather than allies. "Deal."
Maki observed their exchange with quiet amusement; intrigue glimmering in her eyes as she caught Y/N's gaze—a silent acknowledgment passing between them.
"Well this should be fun," Y/N whispered under her breath as Ningguang turned away to regain control over her gathering now thrown into disarray by Y/N's audacity.
But Y/N knew she'd won this round—the game had only just begun.
As she settled beside Maki once more; fire ignited within her blood—a simmering anticipation for what lay ahead filled every fiber of her being. For now; she would play along with this contract—and time was on their side.
AN: This is my first story, forgive me if I mischaracterized some characters and for grammatically errors (English is not my first language :>>).If you have suggestions, just comment heree be kind please <333

when you talk about incest, you mean between mai and maki? it’s funny, because while gege dis portray them sharing a kiss, the way it was made, i didn’t feel like it was romantic… more like it was supposed to represent trough closeness that maki and mai are two parts of the same person, since they’re twins and all. but yeah it definitely can seem disturbing at first lol 😅
It's more than that. Not only Mai is shown to be having a crush, which she doesn't tell Maki about, but also at Todo's request, she goes to see Takada, that pop icon, and she is thrilled. Her reaction to Takada does not look platonic at all. Also the kiss itself doesn't seem platonic. I think Gege meant it to be romantic or at least sus. She is also shown to voluntarily talk about her romantic interest, which means she certainly has one. And she kisses Maki on the lips at such a tragic moment when Mai sacrifices her life for Maki's sake, which I simply cannot deny, is quite unconventional and not used to depict sisterly feelings. I think it's romantic. And hence incestuous.
There are other instances with incestuous themes.
And this too. Imo.
Plus, Mai won't be the only person in the manga who is 'not straight'. Megumi is pointedly shown to prefer 'person' over a girl. This is not even that cryptic, it's Gege telling us he likes men, and not women. Itadori is pointedly shown as confused about his preferences. Like yes, he likes tall girls with big butts or whatever, but he picked Ozawa of all the girls in his class when his friends asked him to pick. He was quite nonchalant about it, even though he knew the context of the questions, but he still did not objectify a woman like a straight boy would probably have done, when he easily could have. He has a poster of a girl, but no girlfriend, instead he is very close to Megumi. Megumi is the first name on his lips no matter who else is there, when he is concerned. When Todo asks him the question about what kind of women he likes, he is baffled and he doesn't really think about his answer the way Megumi does, he just gives the same answer he had been giving his school friends, but he still picks Ozawa, a short girl. Who is then pointedly shown to have grown tall. But Itadori is still not romantically interested in her. Itadori is also pointedly shown to be indecisive. Gege has described Itadori as indecisive. There is so much conversation around the height of Itadori's prospective mate, and some emphasis is also put on Megumi's tall and lean build lol, and all this is deliberate. Plus, Itadori and Megumi show accountability towards each other, Gege shows them taking stock of their feelings for each other and acting accordingly. Of course it's not black and white, but I am sure Gege is telling us something here. He is being cryptic, like Kishi was. The episode shows Ozawa liking Itadori but not able to do anything about it until just then. Nobara is shown to have feelings for Itadori. And Megumi is shown as the person closest to Itadori, like c'mon, they were together for a mere two weeks and they were already making meatballs together. They spend time with each other outside missions, their rooms are right next to each other, they know how the other person thinks and acts, what they like and dislike. That whole episode shows how close Itadori and Megumi are, and it's not the only instance. Gege is certainly showing us more than he is telling. Once I finish the manga, at least the current chapters, maybe I can write about it in more detail.
But well, jjk world is not as old fashioned/traditional as Naruto world. The characters aren't so prejudiced or narrow minded as they are in Naruto. Well except for people inside the clan system, jjk folks are more open to express themselves, less bound by convention. They are all practically crazy, they have got to be, and they own it. It's more healthy than what Naruto's characters do. And there are people like Gojo to guide them, a good leader (unlike Kakashi) who fights the corruption and obsolete convention of their world, who will fight for his students, who will empathize and try to understand them without judging them harshly, and won't deprive them of the simple pleasures of youth.
I can't surely say that Gojo and Geto are also of the same inclination, but I guess it's a little ambiguous the more I look into it. Since Gege is a fan of non linear storytelling, one can certainly expect to see more in that direction and I am still reading the manga. Well, what I can say is that there's more reason to think SatoSugu are romantic than not. So I will wait.
I think Gege knows what Naruto the story is about. He knows. It's like he is trying to break specific shounen conventions with his manga...

how did you figure out you do like girls but dont like guys???? or. wait. I seem to remember an ask a while ago about whether it's girls or pussy that you like actually. I don't mind whatever genitals people got but I'm trying to figure out why I'm attracted to some people but not others and what the hell it has to do with and it's kind of confusing but I partly blame abigail thorn for the caution tape outfit in her latest video /lh
oh i've seen that thumbnail on my home page a few times now! haven't watched the video but it did look interesting, funnily enough that outfit didn't do anything for me like what it seems it did for you lmao, even though i do like girls like you said, anyway long post ahead
i don't think it's fair to say that i "figured out" i like girls but don't like guys, cause since i'm amab it was always the expectation that i'd eventually develop an interest in girls (and only girls) and that's what happened
but that's not to say i haven't ever thought about if there's anything more to my sexuality, like honestly i think i've thought about having sex with men way more than you'd expect from someone who doesn't want to have sex with men lmao
see, until i realised i was non-binary my friends would constantly insist that there was something queer about me, that i wasn't straight or cis or whatever, so i just wanted to know if there was anything i fancied about it and now i can say concretely that i don't feel comfortable doing any sex stuff with someone who has a penis and sadly i doubt i ever will
but of course it's not that simple, like i also just have this nebulous feeling of aversion to men in general when it comes to romantic and sexual stuff, and it's not that i don't like masculinity, masculine women can be hot as hell, it's more that there's just a lot of caveats when it comes to stuff like this; like sometimes i've come across femboys on here and i see them and think they're hot too, then i find out they're actually men and i sit there like huh well they're still hot but i know i wouldn't like doing anything with them, and when it comes to women it should almost go without saying that i'm not going to find each and every woman attractive either, whether it's because some have penises or more often they're just not my type
honestly each persons sexuality is like a fractal with how the closer you look the more complexities you'll find, even when it starts out as something so black and white as "i like women but not men", everyone has a myriad of preferences plenty of which they may not even be aware of themselves, i've only been talking about my own experience so far and you can see how much i've said, but i've had to hold myself back from saying even more
i think it's not something you should stress yourself out with trying to figure out, as long you treat people niceys, but i totally get wanting to know what's actually going on!! it's frustrating to have such a large part of yourself be a mystery to you, and while talking and having new experiences helps it's ultimately something you'll have to ruminate on to figure out for yourself, and it's definitely confusing so hopefully something i've said helps you out somehow :>
i will say that while it's up to you to decide what labels you think fit, also remember that the labels are totally made up! you don't need to strictly conform to a definition to use them, it's all vibes and silly putty over here, really

This character follows the yandere trope. If you are not comfortable with this: do not interact.
❝ You belong to me. Can't you see that? ❞
❝ The King ❞
30
[1994.01.14] Suncheon-si, South Korea [alternate]
Lives in Seoul, South Korea
Speaks: Korean, English, Latin
Personality: Charismatic, jealous, adoring. Jongin is everything a girl wants in a man mixed with the ultimate red flags. He is very secretive about himself and tends to never tell the truth until the object of his desire is his. He's feared and has a bad temper but he would never hurt the one he loves. Everything he does is for her, only her. He is extremely obsessive and possessive.
Background: Jongin comes from a place that is hidden from the world around it. A land full of mythical creatures and ancient magic which makes it home to some of the most dangerous beings not fully known to man. Raised to be King, Jongin started his ascension to the throne when he turned 21 but when the former King died, Jongin was still unmarried and so it was declared that he would not be granted full control until his wedding day. Not wanting to marry for anything other than love, Jongin set out on a quest to find someone who matched everything he wanted but on his journey, he became more and more obsessed with his perfect woman who did not exist in his land - so he crossed the boundary to find her. He is rich and lives under the guise of a playboy billionaire, heir to a large global enterprise - this was set up by his royal advisors. Any attempt to find out any truth about Jongin has been greatly distorted, making him one of the hardest men to keep track of because his name, face and identity is constantly being changed due to the magic that courses through his veins. Magic that protects his land and his people.
Physical Appearance: Jongin has chocolate brown hair that he tends to colour often, ranging from black to blonde and nearly every colour in between. His appearance is constantly changing due to the magic he possesses. His eyes are chestnut brown but he may be seen with blue contacts in. Height is 6 ft, Jongin has a lean, muscular body that many would class as a dancer's body. He has a slightly toned set of abs, broad shoulders and strong arms. He has no scars on his body. Due to his changing appearance, he may be seen with tattoos and piercings, all different and none permanent.
Yandere Info: Jongin is considered an obsessive love yandere. He likes to appear normal to those around him and is very sweet, charming and gentle to all those around him but when he takes an interest - he is obsessed. Head over heels. Nobody exists to him anymore but the one he loves. He will not hurt the object of his desire but will hurt or kill anyone who tries to take her away from him. Jongin will do every and anything for his love interest, they can do no wrong but he is extremely volatile and any instance where his love isn't reciprocated can cause him to lash out.
Unlocked Info:
Jongin is not a magic wielder, he cannot perform spells nor can he summon anything. Magic runs through his veins but its more focused on his body and maintaining his youth, physical strength and appearance.
He drives a white BMW X6 that he has affectionately named 'Daisy' after his pet horse back home.
He loves dancing and often takes classes. Jongin has recently become addicted to caffeine and his favourite colour is deep red.
Jongin's very smart, he doesn't show it, opting to seem goofy and funny but he is very knowledgeable. He isn't a fan of dead silence and will often play music to fill the void.
This will be updated as more is discovered about him.
Straight. Dominant, hard.
Monogamous
Kinks: praise/worship, bondage, knife play, primal/fear play, edging and voyuerism. Jongin will not be sexual around other people when he's in love, he prefers private.
More will be added as it is discovered about him.
The pet names that he tends to use is: Goddess, my (insert here), petal.
Secret Identity Trope Recommended
Jongin is not quick to jump into a relationship but is quick to develop interest. He wants to make sure the woman he chooses fits everything he wants or can be everything he wants. He's had previous ex-girlfriends before but all of them have since gone missing. Relationships take a long time to develop. Once Jongin has made it clear that he is interested, he will not show intimate attention to others.
❝ It's hard to see the way you smile at them, the way you laugh with people that aren't me. They don't deserve you, nobody does. Only I do. Stay with me. ❞

“but ive yet to see any lesbian describe sex with men as purely neutral or sth they merely lack interest in.”
I remember there literally being a massive discussion about this on your blog a number of months back where some lesbians told you they were merely neutral or disinterested in sex with men and you completely shut them down and said they weren’t real lesbians if they weren’t repulsed by men and no lesbian is neutral about sex with men. Like are you seriously forgetting this? You took such a hardline position.
I personally know lots of lesbians who were with men and extremely unhappy but didn’t know why. They knew they didn’t like the sex and felt no romantic connection but just kind of put up with it. It did absolutely nothing for them but they thought that was common for women. They weren’t traumatised and repulsed by it. Personally I’ve had an experience like this where I took a long time to figure out my sexuality and had sex with a man cause I felt I was behind my peers. I didn’t like it at all, I wasn’t attracted to him and it was uncomfortable and it did nothing for me. But I could fully see how a woman could put up with that on occasion and think it was normal, given how much straight women bitch about bad sex, and how much women historically have had to put up with (with regards to sex they didn’t want).
I feel like you just cannot conceive of the fact that people do actually have different life experiences and opinions than you and somebody can feel differently and still be a real lesbian. Your experience is by absolutely no means universal.
almost every lesbian who approached me saying this then ended up admitting that their experiences are indicative of a trauma response, dissociation, which is not like neutrality and indifference whatsoever. in the end, the only person to insist she was truly indifferent is a woman who calls herself bi and argued it’s bc people harass her when she calls herself a lesbian. i could hardly take what she was saying seriously when she’s arguing about lesbian experiences without even having the guts to call herself a lesbian online out of fear of strangers online.
does extreme unhappiness sound like indifference ie neutrality to you? does discomfort sound neutral to you? you’re describing what is very much NOT indifference and then arguing lesbians can be indifferent to sex with men. it’s not a black and white either indifference or full on throwing up during it. i was repulsed, how did that present itself? i felt disgusted by the situation, it felt wrong, i wanted it to stop, i dissociated most of the time, i felt suicidal bc of it, and often felt downright nauseous. the nausea wasn’t always present, but i was still repulsed. what is repulsion? none of that is indifference. experiencing sth and being uncomfortable during it, being unhappy that it’s happening, wanting it to stop… none of those things are indifference. by definition, extreme unhappiness with something is a form of repulsion. discomfort too. what is indifference? please look up these words before debating on them. to be indifferent is to be neutral. it means you don’t feel one way or another about it, you don’t care, it doesn’t affect you in either way. you could have sex with a man, won’t feel unhappy or disgusted or uncomfortable or anything. you could do it for the rest of your life and it wouldn’t be positive but it wouldn’t be negative in any sense either. i am indifferent to raisins. i could eat them. i don’t enjoy it but i can eat it forever and be fine because i don’t feel either way about it. that’s not how someone feels when doing something against their nature. it’s not what you’re describing either.
i encourage you to look for what i actually did say because you’ll find that every anon ended up stating that what they experienced does indeed fall under dissociation rather than actual indifference. the convo ended up being about how we can differentiate between both for a reason.

You’re also completely missing the point.
You firstly ignored the fact that real people can experience harm as a result of fictional narratives (e.g. the way certain characters are portrayed in media), and secondly jumped straight into accusing me of censorship when I never said that. Being critical of media doesn’t mean I’m arguing that media should be forcibly suppressed.
It’s overly simplistic to act like all instances of racial slurs, for instance, in a story are the same. For example, a book like Huck Finn taking place in a racist environment inherently includes that kind of language to paint a realistic picture of the time period and ultimately serves to promote an anti racist message. But as a counter example, let’s say we have a white supremacist author who writes black characters as caricatures in his story and refers to them using slurs, because in his mind this is funny. Clearly, these aren’t the same, and most audiences would recognize that the second author’s attitude towards his characters is reflective of his bigotry. I know media literacy is dead, but the difference isn’t really that difficult to see if you look at any form of context.
It’s also important to note that stories don’t exist in isolation; stories follow general trends across society. As a gay person, one trope I’m particularly aware of is the “bury your gays” trope as I’m sure you’re also aware. I remember a time watching media, when if I was lucky enough to see a hint of a gay character at all, they were almost always killed off. Don’t you agree, that can be damaging to a person? Yes, those characters were all fictional people. None of them were really harmed. But the way their respective authors and showrunners treated them sends a message: that nobody wants people like me to be around. We are meant to appear briefly for shock value and then die.
I feel similarly watching media as a woman; the frequent use of misogynistic tropes and constant eroticization of female pain is dehumanizing, because it speaks to the amount of people who hold those beliefs about people like me. I have every right to be critical of that, and I’m never going to buy the fact that a male writer putting graphic rape scenes of little girls in his novels is some progressive icon exploring complex issues.
Your point about kink is also very interesting. You seem to be approaching it from the angle that only gay people would eroticize homophobia, etc. when in reality that isn’t the case. Would you feel the same if a white person became aroused by seeing a black person being assaulted and called slurs? Your answer implies you wouldn’t be comfortable and good, at least you have some moral backbone. I simply apply that further to straight people who enjoy “dykebreaking” etc. and men who enjoy the idea of physically and sexually abusing women. Those people are sick in the head and clearly hold deeply misogynistic and lesbophobic views. Again, these things don’t exist in a vacuum. There is a reason they see people like me and view us as things to be abused and degraded. Those people are acting out their hatred and biases and we have every right to be critical of it. We also have every right to be critical of narratives—even fictional narratives—that promote the use of our lived pain and experiences for the enjoyment of people who will never be in a position to understand the consequences of those experiences.
I really think everyone needs to truly internalize this:
Fictional characters are objects.
They are not people. You cannot "objectify" them, because they have no personhood to be deprived of. They have no humanity to be erased. You cannot "disrespect" them, because they are not real.

YS 02: bisexual discourse during pride?
the second installment of my Yap Sessions is directly inspired by the dumbass twitter conversations regarding Megan Thee Stallion’s recent lyrics. it’s bothered me for some time, but now that the conversation is more relevant than ever i figured it’s time to talk about it.
deeming someone’s sexuality as performative because they don’t behave or ‘look’ like someone you have in mind is dumb. that shouldn’t have to be said in the first place, but i notice a lot of fem bisexuals get shat on for dating men. a lot of us are treated as ‘allies’ or are looked down upon as we ‘go back to the default’. personally i’m far more attracted to women than i am to men, i knew i liked women before i even had a man i was interested in- but the area i’m in presents more men in the dating pool than other queer women. when i dated my ex, i got straight jokes constantly; it made me feel like they didn’t take my identity seriously, no matter how much i talked about my personal sexual experiences with women and my attraction TO women. bisexual men get the same experience, where they’re told to pick a side- or it’s believed that they’re ’actually just gay’ instead of fully embracing the bisexual label. i don’t deny that these men have the experience, and i fully acknowledge the pain that any bisexual has to go through…..but i see it so much more with feminine people.
megan thee stallion being a feminine black girl, her queerness doesn’t present itself in the way that a white queer would expect. a lot of white queers believe sexuality and queerness revolves around being different. difference in looks, demeanors, even personal expression. i’d like to point to the fact again that black women tend to lean towards hyperfemininity as a nod to their queerness! megan being an openly sexually liberated fem, a desirable woman at that, leads people to deny the pre-existing bisexuality. her acknowledgment of her sexuality has been present, it’s always been in her lyrics, and the discussions white people are having about her sexual attraction pisses me off!
no one’s gender or sexual identity presents in just ONE way. there is no single way to be queer. if there were just one way, the queer label and celebration of pride would be absolutely useless since we’re all just pushing each other into a box. i could go on about how this ideology manifests within the trans community, but that’s another whole rant that i gotta write about. denying someone’s identity because they don’t fit your standards of what a queer person ‘should’ be is absolutely deplorable.
yes, bring your boyfriend to pride. we’re happy he supports and loves you! yes, you’re still bisexual if you date the opposite gender. if you’re here policing what sexuality is, you’re a miserable motherfucker. let people live, none of us will ever have the same standards.
#shit been irking my SOULLL#this rant can apply to several things (race n gender) but again those are different discussions#let women live. it’s all just misogynistic bullshit#vi.writes

What are the merits and demerits of "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand?
The essential merit is the triangulation of Dagny Taggart, Barbie and the shower scene in Starship Troopers. The essential demerit is the glorification of the domestic terrorism of John Galt.
COMMENTARY:
The singular merit of Atlas Shrugged is Dagny Taggart. She is the most fully realized female character in literature. She is a masterpiece of characterization. If Ayn Rand had any useful capacity in objective personal inventory, she would have cut the novel by a third around her and written a third novel to complete a portrait of the “sense of life” at the core of her collage of sound bites and syllogisms she assembled around the Virtue of Selfishness. Dagny Taggart is the Princess Leia hologram her narrative created in my mind. Dagny Taggart springs in Technicolor from the drab industrial environment of Pittsburgh when its rivers caught on fire.
There is an important cultural consequence of Dagny Taggart in the popular imagination of the Boomer Generation at the moment birth control became safe, cheap, effective and legal along with Barbie and actual women like Audrey Hepburn and Jackie O and Lauren Bacall and a whole range of Hollywood women. Ayn Rand didn’t understand sex until she took what amounted to a straight Twink as a lover when she was in her 40s and married. She was married, but her marriage to Frank O’Connor was a desperate strategy to remain in America by marriage. Frank is one of the people she sincerely loved, but it was a very porcelain relationship, a sort of running New Yorker cover. But she was entirely submitted to getting fucked on her living room floor on a full length mink coat by Nathaniel Branden, a psychologist who isolated Self-Esteem as a significant structure of the ego when he was in his twenties and married to his college sweat heart, who was later murdered by post-hypnotic suggesting during a telephone conversation with Ayn Rand. Rand fucked with her mind in some way Rand knew Barbara was vulnerable to strobe paralysis, that thing that happened in Discos from people becoming dazzled by the light display like a deer in headlights. Barbara apparently was dazzled by light flickering off the water of an indoor pool and she checked out, mentally, and tripped into the pool and drowned.
And Dagny Taggart was who Ayn Rand was when she was fucking Nathaniel Branden Dagny was an active California Sport Fucker and Ayn Rand wouldn’t have know what that meant until the day she died.
Now, I need to go see Barbie. The connection between Barbie and Dagny and the Cosmo Woman is inescapable. The Sex in the City was the adventures of pre-Reagan Sport Fuckers in a Joffrey Ballet/Studio 54 Tucker Carlson-free Woodstock Nation play ground.
You see, the third of the book I would cut out was when John Galt appears and she becomes her BDSM dungeon master and all the Technicolor disappears and becomes the grubby industrial black and white of the dystopian universe of Donald Trump’s business culture.
John Galt is a domestic terrorist committed to dismantling the administrative state.
Now, everything about Atlas Shrugged is fantasy. When I first started to read it in 1962, I thought it was science fiction like Frank Herbert but with the promise of a lot more sex, with Dagny Taggart the literary come-on of a sideshow bait and switch. I had read Anthem before my sister had a paperback version of the book and encouraged me to read it because it had some interesting ideas. Her idea of interesting ideas were totally elusive to me over the years, but she was a serious campus intellectual and lived that way her entire life.
I don’t think it was her. Most of Women’s Literature is lost on me. There’s a real Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus thing going on for me in terms of women’s literature, but there it is.
So, I’m not sure what the interesting ideas were for her in Atlas Shrugged, but I wasn’t hooked and decided it wasn’t ever begin to work as an adventure story like, say, Robert Heinlein. And, except for Dagny Taggart, there wasn’t enough sex explicit for my pleasure. By and large, everything sexy happens off stage, sort of like Dezi and Lucy sleeping in twin beds. I mean, i figured out John Galt was the mysterious friend of Dagny’s brother. I quit reading in 1962 when I realized that the play date between Dagny’s brother and the mysterious stranger, was supposed to be a pericope of great subtlety and artistry.
I read it completely in 1995, during a market adjustment when Clinton’s economic policy shrugged off the speculative foam lingering from Vietnam and Stagflation and we almost became the Green New Deal. If his election hadn’t been stolen by the butterfly ballots, Gore would have extended Clinton’s sallt water economics another 4 years that would have completed the paradigm shift from the Military Industrial Complex to the Green New Deal and we would have a permanent lunar colony by 2010,
And during this market flat-line, I discovered that Alan Greenspan was a disciple of Ayn Rand and I was trying to understand what he said was goin on in the markets, which I now know was the Fresh Water economics of the University of Chicago. I could tell that he realized the Fresh Water models weren’t working and was trying to find the language for what was going on.
As a consequence, I had to read Atlas Shrugged. Her collection of essays describing Objectivism didn’t connect with any dots I could discern in Greenspan’s economic modeling. They didn’t share any map sheet with each other nor with anything I found useful. Paul Krugman’s Salt Water economics in the dynamical economies of scale in his Peddling Prosperity is pretty much what I was seeing in the NYSE in 1994 after the Triple Witching in March. Because of electronic trading, there is always a certain level of “chatter” in the markets that didn’t exist before 1979. Nixon’s banking and securities policies anticipated electronic trading and created the structures that created Silicon Valley. During August of 1994, virtually all the speculative and inflationary froth lingering from the financing for the Vietnam war was flushed out of the NYSE as everyone went to the beach and let the programs keep the markets open. In addition, Clinton’s salt water economics fixed a great deal of what Reaganomics had fucked up with the Fresh Water economics of Supply Side Free Market class warfare.
But people who embrace Atlas Shrugged as the operators manual for Reaganomics don’t have any more idea how the economy actually works than Alan Greenspan did in 1994. What no one saw coming was Newt Gingrich as Speaker of the House and the transfer of the legislative processes from elected constitutional officers to Grover Norquist, who began dictating economic policy to the January 6 Republicans-in-training as MAGA service dogs.
If Dagny Taggart had exposed John Galt as a domestic terrorist seemingly determined to dismantling the administrative state but actually enthralled by the enchantment of an evil cabal of Criminal Fascists and that she and Hank Reardon embarked on a quest to free John Balt from CAW, the evil cadre causing the social collapse of Atlas Shrugged . She could have ended Atlas Shrugged as a cliff hanger, as thy are bale to co-opt John Galt’s television address that stalls the CAW insurgency from achieving the constitutional overthrow at the end of Atlas Shrugged,
And the third volume in the Sense of Life trilogy would have Dagny saving John Galt and turning the whole world to Technicolor and ending in the Pink Dream House of Barbie, the Movie, on the beach at Malibu with a naked, coed beach volley ball court out the patio in the back. The subtitle for the trilogy would be “Escape from the Parable of the Cave”..
So, the essential merit of Atlas Shrugged is Dagny Taggart.
The essential demerit is is Objectivism is total Free Market, Fres Water Economics, Commercial Fascism crap. It’s the Harvard MBA program business model that the Studio Executives are trying to shove down the throat of Fran Drescher and SAG in opposition to the superior Salt Water Quality Assurance business model of organized labor.
But that’s another story.

I think it's interesting that all the examples provided so far on how to keep guys from falling down alt-right pipeline is having other men help them unlearn their bad habits/behaviours together. Patriarchy enforces strict cishet-centric dynamics that isolates men from having any platonic relationships after all, which encourages them to see every man as competition and every woman as a prize, making any critique of their behavior afterwards come off as an attack on their person. So getting a guy to value the constructive advice of left-wing men over the self-soothing "you did nothing wrong" rhetoric of right-wing men relies on them accepting that they may have some Issues™️ to work on.
I do think there's also a major issue with men hearing talk about the patriarchy as a system and treating it as a personal attack due to having some of the habits/behaviour being critiqued, making it harder to point out even basic issues.
I've seen a lot of left-leaning women attempt to help the men in their life work on some of their issues with the love and compassion I've seen men beg for only to have said men getting sexual with them because they see any positive interaction from women as flirting and/or get aggressive upon realizing that the relationship is going to stay platonic, which in turn drives women away and leaves the guy in prime position to be taken down alt-right pipelines. And when you conflate extremist feminism views (ex: radfems/TERFS) with the straight up concept of feminism like a lot of right-wing conservatives do, then ofc everything a woman says sounds like an attack or "woke SJW madness" whose words have to be filtered through, like. A Master Chief AI voice to get men to engage with it meaningfully. This also leads to both sides ignoring other types of marginalization that might be impacting them and forming any kind of intersectionality or community. (ex: autistic men may be treated poorly for being too emotional or childish, disabled men may be treated poorly for not being able to work anymore, black men may be treated like a threat more often than their white peers regardless of behavior, etc.)
Personally, a good rule of thumb to district between constructive vs destructive criticism is to see if a person assigns all the blame/responsibility on one group for inherently existing. For example, if someone says that all men are violent predators who shouldn't exist, they're ignoring the actual issue (boys are less likely to be taught proper sexual conduct and boundaries) and ignoring the chance to constructively address it (teach boys proper sexual conduct and boundaries) by placing the blame on someone's sex/gender instead.
I couldn't have said it better myself.
