Rice coking
Ok tips for cooking rice in the pot
1. Don’t stir the rice
The rice will naturally create a pattern the will cook the rice. The pattern creates a steaming effect that is necessary. By stirring you will destroy this pattern and the rice will burn.
Don’t worry about the rice burning with out stirring as long their is water in the pot it will not burn.
2. Different types of rice require different amounts of water. Read the instructions on the packing.
3. No instructions No problem this is the „ done „ rule . Ideally if the water in the pot is gone the rice should be ready. You can check by tilting the pot and watching if water will flow to that side. Test testing is key. If done but water is still in the pot you can just take of the heat and remove the water. If the rise is not done and no water is in the pot just put another cup in.
Wasch your rice and learn from your experience.

Taalmodel: beetnemen

King’s nobility called into question

Meet Clover Stoven! 🍀
Clover is my shameless Adventures in Wonderland self insert :,) She moved to the Red Queen’s corner of Wonderland when her life in the Court of Clubs became far too stressful and demanding (more on that later). Thankfully, most of her neighbors live for a fresh batch of tarts every now and then, especially those who frequently attend the Hatter’s infinite tea party. Despite the decreased workload she finds herself facing in the Red Queen’s court, Clover still manages quite easily to become overwhelmed, aided by an unlucky combination of forgetfulness and clumsiness. Regardless, she does enjoy baking a lot, and in her spare time she feels most at home dancing atop the Hatter’s tea table amongst himself, The Hare, and The Doormouse.
I know it’s kind of selfish, but AiW has become such a comfort to me, especially since this time of year always gets a bit rough around the edges. Ever since I watched the first episode, curiosity became infatuation. I love the silliness of it and how everything is sort of backwards in Wonderland. The best way I enjoy a piece of media is by becoming part of it, however cringe that may be, because I really would like to attend one of those tea parties and bake for the occasion. :,)
(Apologies for the otherwise poor quality, the old pencil and paper is the only medium I have access to/experience with at the moment. I did manage to ink and color this one though!)

The three Witches
- Dtui Ngyen (the demon Mentor of Kiyoshi), - Francine Spencer (Jeb’s grandmother) and - Ms Rita Coombes (The Boys teacher and Dtui’s bonded)
All you must know about them is, that they know everything, but do not (often ;) interfere.
Why?
It might sound cruel, but the truth is, you can tell your kid a hundred times to not touch the hot stoven plate - it only learns it when it touches - once.
The Boys are supposed to lead the Resistance against the Council one day. They won’t learn how to be strong, brave and smart by just telling them how to be. They have to make their own experiences - and mistakes - to learn from them. Vlad seems to know about it, but he get’s fooled sometimes too ^^’
On the wall behind the desk of my psychiatrist is written:
- change is a door that can only be opened from the inside -
I’m sure Frodo would never have thrown the ring into the fires of mount doom if the eagles had flewn him there in the beginning, because else he never had experienced the danger of the ring and why it needs to be destroyed.
And Harry had never fought this eagerly for Hogwarts if he never experienced the hell at Dursleys.
And Ji Ho had maybe never become a part of the boys life if Ms Coombes had forced them to live together at the Space Bar. (See chapter: -> ‘The Intruder’).
Haha and(!) Giga had never grewn fond of that little annoying werewolf! You’ll never know what the shit you are going through is good for in the end! Therefore some (wise or stupid) people say: I would go through it again - because it lead me here.
Inspiration:
There are many ancient lores about the three female fatespinners (personifications of fate). More on wikipedia:
- Moirai - Norns
and the three Witches from Shakespeare’s MacBeth (Whom are inspired by the above ;)

15-7 Stokmarknes
Coffee and waffles!

It is officially Everymanhybrid's anniversary and tbh i could go on a 10 hour rant about how this series changed me back in 2018 but that would be too long so instead I'm gonna type my favorite hcs for each of the main cast
Vinnie Everyman (he/she)
I know his last name isn't actually Everyman but it's funny to me okay. She looks like he would be a country bumpkin. The most mature one in the group and is kinda the voice of reason when it comes to any of these fuckers making bad descions. I feel like she would definetly collect little trinkets, like old dvds or something.
Jeffrey Koval (he/him)
This is an inside joke between me and my friend Liu. But basically Jeff calls ovens and stoves.. stoven. This is because when he was younger him and Alex were home alone and their mom asked them to keep an eye on the oven and Alex thought she meant the stove.
Turns out it was hilarious to them to combine the words to the point they forgot about it and their house almost burned down.
Evan Meyers (he/it)
His collection of machetes just keeps getting bigger as times goes on. It probably has them in his closet even. Despite that though yeah Evan is a sweetheart idc. Only bad thing it has ever done is sit down and force Vinnie and Jeff to watch Death Proof with him (trust me. That movie is something else.)
Stephanie/Damsel (she/they)
She was definetly into really obscure fandoms. I feel like if them and Stormy ever met they would both be Homestuck best friends. She probably learned to be chaotic as Hell from Evan. Luckily survived the watching of Death Proof because they weren't around at the time.
HABIT (he/it)
Oh yeah this fucker is here. When he isn't being a menace to society and everything as a whole, i like to think it actually is very interested in learning more human stuff. Like his personality and mannerisms are all learned from watching TV so they are just extremely exaggerated.
Sorry my posts keep being all over the place but tbh i just post what i want at this point. God i love Everymanhybrid go watch it right now OOoOoOoO you wanna watch it so badly

Hi, These pictures are great. I'm curious about what the galley a 19th century frigate or galleon looked like. Those brick stovens weren't used because of the weight, but that iron stoven looked very modern, or military. For vessels that weren't necessarily military--for example Spanish Galleons carrying cargo or passengers across the Atlantic--what kind of stoves did they use? And how were they galley spaces laid out? Do you know where I might find images of like this? Thank you!
Hi,
I guess you have already read this?
Well, in the 19th century, these iron stoves were perfectly normal. Yes, it looks quite modern, but believe me, these are actually models from the period. Even if they are partly replicas on the ships. But if you want to know what the oven on a Galleon looks like, you have to look at the time. Galleons come from the 17th and early 18th century and there you have several possibilities.
Galley stoves from 1492-1620 (x)
The early galleons usually had a brig stove with a kettle built into it, which was located in the lower decks. There were also portable ovens also called caboose, some of which were located in the forecastle or could be brought down to the lower decks or even on the main deck. It was possible, however, that there was a fireplace with bricks and sand in the forecastle over which a pot or something was hung.
Ship’s Galley in a first rate ship of the line from the 1690s (x)
Or, as here, a brick fireplace with an integrated boiler and barbecue skewers in the forecastle. But there were also the first iron stoves that were inserted into a brig oven. Like this one from the Whydha, a galley from 1716.
The Whydha stove, before 1717 (x) (x)
As far as pictures are concerned, well, you have to look at which Ship you have. You might find them in excavation reports from these or you might be lucky and find some on the internet.
I hope I was able to help you a little and wish you a good day.

Okay I've had a night to reflect. I've read and reread chapter 71: The Jeroboam's Story.
It's another gam, but it's also another failed gam. The ships are too far apart. The Jeroboam's captain rows over, but can't come onboard. The ocean keeps pushing them apart, hindering conversation. Gabriel keeps interrupting, hindering conversation. There's mail on the Pequod for the Jeroboam, but it's for a dead man. And Gabriel returns it, violently. All attempts at connection are thwarted; by illness, by nature, by man (or angel), by death.
And the timing of everything:
“Hast thou seen the White Whale?” demanded Ahab, when the boat drifted back. “Think, think of thy whale-boat, stoven and sunk! Beware of the horrible tail!” “I tell thee again, Gabriel, that—” But again the boat tore ahead as if dragged by fiends.
Much like the Town Ho story and the absent gam with the Albatross, I think I'm going to have to read this one again.
