Hyrule and spiral

Hyrule summoned the healing spell from his trembling fingertips and pressed them to the wound. It was sickening to hear the blood squelch at his touch but he continued to apply pressure. His blood dripped menacingly and he squeezed his eyes shut, nearly hyperventilating.

If any more monsters showed up they could get his blood. They could capture him while he was vulnerable. They could resurrect Ganon, hurt him or kill him, and Hyrule could be the reason this quest failed.

He started to spiral and he didn’t even notice when his wound had healed and his spell didn’t need to be used anymore. The magic continued to pour out and eventually his eyes began to droop.

He was out before he hit the ground.

Donald Trump became the first former American president to be convicted of felony crimes today as the jury found him guilty of all 34 charges in a scheme to illegally influence the 2016 election through a hush money payment to an adult film actress who said the two had sex.

However, we must refrain from perpetuating the “historic conviction no one is above the law in the greatest country on earth” narrative.

Let’s remember that he has become the first convicted felon among a lineup of war criminals, mass murderers, rapists, and slavers. Their crimes have included enabling genocide, setting up torture sites, invading other countries, exploiting the global south, ethnically cleansing indigenous people etc. Of course, Trump is also guilty of several of these crimes.

A glaringly obvious recent example is Dick Cheney - and his team - not being prosecuted for lying about Iraq having weapons of mass destruction. We were all expected to just move on from that lie.

The fact that the first ever Presidential conviction is over hush money to cover a sex scandal is not at all surprising however, it is revealing.

The veteran walked, and walked, limbs starting to grow numb. “Keep moving, vet. We’ve got to get out of this blizzard.” Wild urged.

“Can’t you teleport with that slate or something like that? Why do we have to try and walk through this goddess-damned blizzard?” Legend gritted his teeth and walked despite the snow in his boots and on his lashes.

He could barely see anything ahead. “I have no signal in this area.” Wild answered, holding his slate close to his chest as the treaded through the snow.

The veteran shuddered and wrapped an arm around the cook, still trying to keep up. “Hebra can be a nightmare but I’m sure if we can find a cabin somewhere.” Wild assured.

“You better be right..” Legend hissed as more snow fell into his boot.

Suddenly the vet couldn’t do this any longer. He gripped Wild’s shoulder tighter but he couldn’t stop himself as his knees buckled. “Legend!” Wild yelped.
